Although the hotkey is set under "Application" and is directly under "Go to Previous Edit Point" which DOES work application wide, previous/next track will only work if the timeline is selected.This behaviour can be observed on 24.5 as well as the 24.6 beta. I am currently on windows.This behaviour also persists even if nothing else is set to the same hotkey.

Just tested this in two different Productions in Premiere v24.3.0 (MacOS 14.4.1 Studio Ultra M1) Open a project (Project 1) in the Production Open a 2nd project and add a clip from Project 1 to a sequence in Project 2 (clip is not in the Project 2 bins). Highlight the clip in the Project 2 sequence and click Auto Tag in Essential Sound: nothing happens. Auto Tag works normally in Project 1 where clip is in Project Bins.   Can anyone else confirm? Hello dear Adobe community,I have a reocurring problem. I'm working on a musicvideo and after working on the subtitles/captions for a while, the project crashes... I used a previous file project from the autosave folder but now once again while finishing the final details on the captions, the project crashes everytime I try to do something with it. Please help cause its an important project and my client is still waiting, I need the captions on it. Thank you in advance.version of mac: Sonoma 14.5, mac (2023) m3 chip

I have a project that is 1hr 52min long, when I type in the program monitor for captions, it is lagging to the point where I can type a sentence and it will take about a minute AFTER I type and watch one letter slowly appear at a time. This hasn't happened to my other project which I started last week. Is there a reason for this? It;s been going on for months now.   I have 16gb of ram, and am updated to the lastest version of PR2021. 

Hello, I can't seem to keep "Set as default for future sequences" in the Start Time window UNCHECKED. Steps I take: 1. Create new sequence2. Open Start Time window3. Set Start Time for 00:00:00:004. CHECK "Set as default for future sequences"5. Click OK6. Create another new sequence (sequence start time will be 00:00:00:00)7. Open Start Time window8. Set Start Time a new time (eg. 08:31:21:02)9. "Set as default for future sequences" is ALREADY CHECKED. If I don't UNCHECK this the next new sequence I create will have 08:31:21:02 as Start Time). I create hundreds of sequences and manually enter different Start Times for each. I would like the "Set as default for future sequences" to be ALWAYS UNCHECKED.   Thanks Using Premiere Pro 2024 version 24.3.0 build 59MacOS Ventura 13.6.6 

There is a serious problem with PP 24.5: it will not render any project that contains ANY MOGRT file. I have created a test file with a single Sequence. The only thing in the sequence is a MOGRT file. Playback works fine, but when I try to render, the app crashes part of the way through. If I create the project file WITHOUT the MOGRT, it renders fine, even long files with 25 or 30 minutes of video.This only started happening after I upgraded to the latest version of PP, however, even when I rollback to previous versions, I'm seeing the same behavior.I have double checked all my graphics drivers and everything else I can think of. I have also cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled PP, made sure I have the latest Windows 11 Pro updates, and rebooted my computer several times. I have also cleared out all my old preferences, and done all of the things that are always recommended.I even tried installing the latest Beta version of PP and I still see the exact same result.Bottom line,

SO Frustrating. I will be working along in Premiere with my file and for no reason, my dynamic links will quit out. I have restarted like all the suggestions and that does not fix it. I have one file in particular that if I now try and bring it in via dynamic link, it will not even connect, and it was working just fine an hour ago.  file is 675 megs zipped, so I can't attach it here  

I've just imported a load of presets within a folder and it seems to have become the main folder, meaning I can't rename it, delete it or anything. It's confusing having the main preset pack as something with a random name. I have no idea how this has become the default. 

This used to work many versions ago, but has been broken ever since (23.1).If you make any speed adjustements and create an AE comp, then you get proper time keyframes in AE reflecting the speed change. But if you use "Frame Hold" on any clips in PP it will be treated as a normal playing clip in AE, no freeze frame.  I have reported this in the past, when that "bug" came up the first time, but didn't get any response. Do better, Adobe.

The All Caps (TT) setting will not save to your new preset when creating a linked style in the Essential Graphics panel. For example, if you want to create a specific style for a specific client's video series, you can adjust all the settings and save. However, All Caps will never save, so they must be manually adjusted in all videos.  Also, if you create a Linked Style and then adjust the All Caps setting, the Linked Style section will show that unsaved changes have occurred.

On nvidia 4070ti and intell i5 11400 with 32GB memory. Latest drivers Since yesterday, my preview has been abysmal and can't do basic editing anymore. Switching to studio drivers do nothing. Im already using ProRes proxies. I rolled back to 24.0 and there's little to no improvement. Please help

I want to use scene edit detection on a video without affecting audio. However, using unlink on the video/audio stops scene edit detection from working. The attached images show the same clip on the same Premiere Pro timeline. Without unlinking - scene edit detection works fineUnlinking - scene edit detection makes no cuts. My colleague has tested a different file and is finding the same behaviour.

Hello! Good day! could someone help me about this issue? idk if its bug or whatsoever. when i put effects and drag it on my footages it destroys the colour any ideas how this happen and how to avoid it? footages are shot on SLOG3 from fx3. even when i drag mocha pro it destroys the colour. but the other plugins works fine. thanks

When I open the Browse tab inside the Essential Graphics panel, my entire timeline lags, the video preview is good (does not lag), but the playhead will not move until you stop the preview. But if you are on the Edit tab or the Essential Graphics panel is not visible (you have other panels but not this one) the timeline will not lag. Steps to recreate:1. Open a timeline2. Open the Browse tab inside the Essential Graphics panel3. I just signed on to a new job and everytime I open the production, the Production panel pops up but as soon as I try to navigate within it, it freezes and I have to force quit.  It worked ONE time and was perfectly smooth navigating around various projects without a hitch for a couple hours... then I closed Premiere and tried to reopen again and it's just back to crashing over and over. None of the other editors are experiencing any issues. I'm on a Mac Studio M2Max, Sonoma 14.6.1, 64GB RAM, 1 TB storage (more than half free) all media and the production is hosted on a LucidLink filespace, which I tend to think is operating fine since it was smooth sailing once I got past the initial production panel.

I have 2 project files (1 After Effects & 1 Premiere Pro).  Both v24.5.0 running on Mac OS Sonoma 14.5 with 64GB RAM.  Both files are saved side by side within the same master project folder as per usual and my cache is 100% clear with 3TB of fully dedicated and available space. All 14 Dynamic Link Comps from After Effects are perfectly synced and functioning as intended inside the Premiere companion project file. Every time that I open the Premiere project, it only takes a few seconds for all the dynamic links to reconnect with their related After Effects project (which again lives side-by-side within the same directory). Once these dynamic links are all connected in Premiere, I then open the After Effect project file and everything still remains linked. Here’s where everything breaks down: As soon as I make a single update to any comp and save changes within the After Effects project, all of the dynamic links inside the Premiere project immediately go off

Timeline Scrubbing in Premiere has slowed down imensly lately. I use the recent Beta of Premiere because of the timeline mousewheel zoom Problem in the regular Premiere version........It only appears when lumetri effects are added to the clips.Sadly even with all fx disabled and proxies enabled the scrubbing keeps getting worse over time.The scrubbing speeds up after deleting lumetri effects, but this is not an option because of workflow.Resetting preferences, clearing media cache, and not using cuda is not working.Reinstalling Premiere is also not working. Nvidia Studio Drivers are up to date.The PC is an intel 13700K, Geforce 3060 , 128GB Ram, footage is on internal nvme drives.I attached a screencapture.

Hello, This seems to be a consistent issue with most windows users and no solution has been found from what i have seen. I'm hoping adobe sees this and releases some kind of decoder or fix for this. Everytime i try to import prores raw footage into premiere, media encoder and after effects I get the same error code. "cannot be decoded"SYSTEMCPU: I9 13980HXRAM: 32 gbGPU: nvidia 4070 Windows 11 I have triple checked settings in premiere, updated drivers and tried using older ones, downloaded the apple decoder, turned off integrated graphics in device manager. I ve tried all the things but nothing works. Please if someone could help me find a solution for this id greatly appreciate it.  

I am entering subtitles using the caption function.Sometimes there is a bug where the video plays when I press the space bar. However, if I enter subtitles in the Caption tab, this error does not occur.This error occurs when I double-click and edit a subtitle. This error occurred 3 days ago. How do I solve this?I tried installing another version of Premiere Pro, but it didn't work.

I've been using Productions (currently on Premiere 24.3.0) for the past year on multiple feature docs and smaller projects. The biggest problem I've faced is improper linking between clips in sequences and their sources in other projects. For example, a clip inside an edit sequence in a "Sequences" project won't "reveal in project" back to the source clip in a "Media" project in the same Production, even if it was cut into the sequence from that project/clip. I've experienced what many others have: "Recovered" clips being generated in the sequence project, Premiere unable to locate the source for a clip, etc. I've used all the known solutions to some degree of success [Reassociate Source Clips; dragging clips back into their home folder, Consolidate Duplicates] but ultimately this is a recurring issue. I've experienced this in BOTH projects that were converted to Productions, and projects that originated as Productions, following all best practices for creating a Production a

Hello!  I encounter a really annoying problem which appeared out of nowhere. Specs: Processor --> Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz 2.80 GHzInstalled RAM --> 16.0 GB (15.9 GB usable)System type --> 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorWindows 10 Home Specific problem: - I have Premiere Pro 2023 and Premiere Pro 2024 both installed. For some reason, the audio playback stopped working on Premiere Pro 2023, but it works on Premiere Pro 2024. They have the exact same settings in Audio Hardware. I checked Audio Track Mixer and Audio Clip Mixer, everything is alright. Layers are not muted and actually all the settings are the same as in previous days. But for some reason only Premiere Pro 2023 sound doesn't work.  Anything outside of Premiere Pro 2023 works, including Premiere Pro 2024, but I need to finish the project in 2023, not 2024 due to my client who insists working on 2023 version.  I tried every

Olá pessoal!Faz uns 2 dias que estou com problema no Premiere, quando eu entro nele e abro um projeto, nada aparece, nada mesmo, abre a seção para editar mas fica tudo escuro sem nenhuma palavra. Após eu clicar no menu lá em cima, em qualquer opção, parece que o premiere atualiza e aparece tudo de novo. Porém não consigo editar, pois não atualiza os movimentos que faço. Captions and Text placement is impossible! Since the last update I'm not able to do anything text based in premiere. Imported PNGs are possible but no internal graphics. I've tested this intensively. Clip of me testing and showing 

I am having an issue with several Adobe applications. I am using a work PC with company software. My PC had to be reloaded after the CrowdStrike issue. My Adobe Creative Suite is up to date and functions, but the programs (Premiere, After Effects and Media Encoder) will crash whenever I try to "save as" or import or replace footage.
