Hi Adobe Community,I'm running into an issue with transcription in Premiere Pro (2025). I have two nested sequences, each with their own speaker, and each one has a full, proper transcription when viewed inside the nest. However, when I bring those two nested sequences into a main sequence (where I edit them together), the transcript at the main sequence level does not properly display all the dialog. Instead, large sections of speech get condensed into a [...] placeholder — for example, one speaker talks for 30 seconds, but all that's shown is [...] without the actual words.Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to have the full transcription from nested sequences show properly at the edit level without having to re-transcribe everything? Thanks so much for any help or tips!
I was editing a project in Adobe Premiere with 5 videos, at the end of the day I saved it and turned off the PC, to my surprise the next day only the files used in Adobe Premiere were at 0kb. I lost an important project, I could have made a backup of course, but because I was in a hurry and had never seen this bug I didn't do it.
I have had several students import video into Premiere Pro and it is out of sync between the video and audio. It appears in the timeline that there is added time to the clip that should not be there. Here is the kicker! When I log into my account, the problem does not occur! Why would there be a change depending on the user log in? Both accounts are updated to the latest version as of April 29, 2025.

Premiere won't prepare frames for Neat Video. If I try to prepare frames for Neat Video, I get this message.Of course it is incorrect -- I have all the options set as they should be -- to full. But at least then the Filter Settings: Adjust option is unlocked for me. However, when I click on it, I get this error:Updating to version 25.2.3 does not help.

while importing my video to premiere pro, in a viewport there is some kind of bug: audio sounds awfully, it is distorted, not only the quality of the sound, but the sound itself is changed too. For example, i've had an audio with 6 rythmic clock hits, but when i imported it into Premiere Pro, the sound changed and there were only 3 hits. i've tried different audio preferences, but nothing has helped. exporting (using media encoder) also haven't resulted anything positive: the sound remained awful. as i noticed, After Effects faces the same issue. what can i do to solve it?workiing on macbook m4 pro 24 gb
Major Bugs Reported in Adobe Premiere Pro 25.2 (Latest Update) The latest update of Adobe Premiere Pro (version 25.2) has introduced several serious bugs that are heavily affecting editing workflows. After extensive hands-on use, here are the main issues I’ve encountered: --- System Specifications: Processor: Intel Core i5-13400F Motherboard: MSI Z790P DDR5 RAM: 32GB DDR5 (6000MHz) Storage: Kingston Gen4 NVMe 1TB SSD Graphics Card: ASUS ROG Strix RTX 2080 Super Power Supply: Deepcool 850W 80+ Gold Operating System: Windows 11 Pro (Fully Updated) --- 1. "Slow Storage Audio Retrieval" Error During Playback During normal timeline playback, Premiere randomly shows a "Slow storage audio retrieval" error. After this error appears, audio either stutters, cuts out, or gets completely muted during playback. The issue occurs even on high-speed Gen4 NVMe SSDs, confirming that this is a software-side bug rather than a storage performance issue. --- 2. Frequent Crashes During Editing When editing q
"Hello, I need some help, please! My computer is really good, it has great performance, but I'm having an issue where the video lags only in the Program Monitor and when I move it to the Timeline. For example, when I zoom in, everything runs smoothly and works perfectly. Even when I export the video, it plays normally. It's just in the Program Monitor and on the Timeline that it lags. I also have an example I can show you directly – https://youtu.be/vfl5leYYSd4 Please help! Thank you all!
Bug 1: Renderer Option Greyed Out- In Premiere Pro 25.2, the Renderer option (GPU/CPU) in Project Settings is greyed out and cannot be changed.- This is a problem because sometimes CPU rendering is slower but more stable, and users need to switch manually.- Expected: Ability to choose between GPU and CPU rendering. Bug 2: Reset to Saved Layout Not Working- When importing workspaces from older versions, clicking "Reset to Saved Layout" does nothing.- It only works after clicking "Save Changes to this Workspace" or "Save as New Workspace."- Expected: "Reset to Saved Layout" should work immediately, even for imported workspaces.
I like to keep my apps up to date to utilize the newest features. However, in the latest update where some of the new AI timeline features have been implemented, Premiere Pro CC will not run consistantly without crashing my entire PC. I'm a full-time video editor and have ruled out any mechanical errors in my machine. I've also ruled out extensions, files types, and all that. I consistantly edit with all of these and have never had problems in past versions. Just suddenly with 25.2. If it helps, I'm using...- Windows 10- AMD Threadripper 16-core 2900x- MSI Nvidia 3060 12gb vram- 128 gb ddr4 ram- 1000 watt power supply- All m.2 and ssd drives This machine has run adobe apps perfectly for a long time and I've gone through all the troubleshooting to discover everything else is fine, it's 25.2. I've already rolled back to a previous version which helped, so this post is more just to complain about the issues and not really to look for a solution right now, but a patch in 25.3 to
Since PP versiion 2023 and now in version 2024 when I create a multicam clip with 2 or more cameras the audio and video are in sync but the timecode on the Overlay is off by a random amount of time. It is never the same offset. See screenshot. I use Source t/c for syncing multicam clip. Both are same frame rate of 23.976.This drives me crazy when trying to sync additional tracks. Anyone?
Premiere is very slow when handling AVI files encoded with a lossless codec (e.g. UT Video).Jumping to a selected frame is terribly slow, and if the file is saved on the HDD, it takes a dozen or so minutes, and it looks as if Premiere is reading the entire file from the beginning.I checked the file in VirtualDub and Magix Vegas -- in both cases the time is almost instant. The file lasts about 1 hour and takes up 200 GB, UT Video 4:2:0 8-bit codec. Windows 10, Ryzen 5700G, 32GB RAMTested without any plugins.
Dear Adobe support, community,Since last 25.2.0 update, I have start experiencing lagging playback, when Multi-Camera view is toggle on. In order to edit a multicam sequences. From 6 months I'am working over a project, breackdowned in multiple 1 hour video, from 3 cameras and external audio. The same settings, the same settups. Had no issue with creating and editing multicam sequences up to now. With multi-camera toggle off, the playhead run smoothly as expected. I need toggle on multi-camera as it is a basic feature in Premire for multi-camera editing and it helps switching the camera, as this is the idea of multi-camera sequences.I am using Premire Pro on Windows 11 (latest update)Appreciate any tips or hints!
Dear Adobe team, I would like you to solve my issue as soon as possible .From last 2 days I am facing Import dialog box lag in Premiere Pro.When I press Ctrl+I Premiere pro hangs and i have to close it.So please look out this problem and solve as soon as possible. Here I have attached Screenshot of Software.
If you open up the Text panel and highlight some text, which creates In-Out points on the timeline, then the Toggle Direct Manipulation button vanishes from the Program monitor if you then move around your timeline and directly select a clip. Clearing the In-Out selection fixes this. I'm currently doing some soundbite pulls from the text panel so I've been able to recreate this issue several times this morning while working, eventually figured out what was causing it. Not a huge issue, but it is a bigger problem since you cannot enable or disable Toggle Direct Manipulation with a global shortcut key, you must have the Program monitor in focus to enable to disable. There's another thread on Toggle Direct Manipulation and how it a) doesn't have a global shortcut key like we used to have before you put this icon in the program monitor and b) will pause playback if a clip is selected during playback and Toggle Direct Manipulation is meant to be in active mode. Currently on 2

Premier ver 25.2.3MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 when i use warp stabilizer for 1 clip or 2, there is no problem. but when i drag warp stabilizer for all clips it will crush the computer. i am using macbook pro M4 Max 16in 128 GB ram. Please help me to solve this problem. its work fine with Windows.
I routinely have super laggy playback where I drop tons of frames and I can't seem to find the issue. GPU: gtx 1080tiCPU intel i7 9700fRAM: 32 GBusing an external SSD for footage along with internal SSD for Premiere.I have tried just about everything, I updated my STUDIO driver with nvidia, cleared the cache, using proxies, I have 29GB of RAM reserved just for Premiere, not using maximum render quality, lowered the playback quality in the playback window, using GPU acceleration(although the option is greyed out for some reason so I can't switch back to just GPU for rendering anyways), my GPU and CPU aren't on high usage whenever I edit, obviously restarted my PC and Premiere, I have also tried different footage in a completely new project with nothing in it besides 15 seconds of footage and audio, and I'm running premiere 24.0. I seriously can't find the issue, plus this is the thing. this doesn't happen all the time, only sporadically.
I am using DJI Osmpo Pocket 3 footage filmed in 4K at 10bit D-Log. I am using Gaussian blur to track (keyframe) and blur frames like I have been doing for 10 years without hassle. I have just begun using version 25.2. 3 of Premiere Pro and have used the new Color management system in Premiere Pro where Log footage is automatically coloured.- I have set the Output Color Space from Direct Rec.709 (SDR) to Wide Gammut (Tone Mapped). This little change means that when I produce my video the Gaussian Blur (the Blurred face is not blurred) is not there. When I switch the Output Color Space back to Direct Rec.709 (SDR) and produce the video the gaussian blur works perfectly (the face is blurred). Please look into this issue and fix it or advice me of what I am doing wrong. Is DJI Osmo Pocke 3 D-Log not compatible with Wide Gammut (Tone Mapped). Thanks in advance 🙂
Cant change horizontal to vertical. Tried Reset. It stays scrolling back and forth in the timeline. I mainly work with Premiere 2024, but I'm having trouble with the encoding being too slow.As for the editing, I used Robuskey to extract a person recorded against a green screen, and then composited two still images (jpeg, png) and a video (FHD H.265 mp4 encoded with MediaEncoder). The person's footage is a 4K/4:2:2 10bit Long-Gop/H.264 mov file.Even though I checked "Use Preview" when exporting, it seems that the preview file is not referenced in most cases.I tried exporting a video that was exactly 1 minute long, and the results are below. After rendering, export directly from Premiere with "Use Preview" Renderer set to GPU / 1 minute 41 seconds (2025 takes 1 minute 47 seconds) Renderer set to software / 8 seconds (2025 takes 5 minutes 41 seconds)After rendering, export directly from Premiere with "Don't use Preview" Renderer set to GPU / 1 minute 42 seconds Renderer set to software / 5 minutes 30 secondsAfter rendering, encode with ME with "Use Preview" I
