Bug Reports

Toggling multicam view & proxies at the same time can cause the icon to get stuck in a (I assume..) "disconnected" state, even though there are no disconnected proxy filesIt will not return to normal until prem is rebooted. This issue is present in windows (v25.0 & v25.2beta126) & macOS (v25.1)I don't think this issue is directly tied to the multicam icon itself, just that prem is stuck doing something else while the user tries to disable proxies, causing the icon to maybe think it's lost its link to proxies even though it hasn't? Just a guess on my part. Seems pretty easily replicated on my end, at least on a timeline that takes a second or two for multicam to toggle on/off. Video attached below on how to replicate

This is really annoying and time consuming to deal with. I'm on a Mac Pro 7,1 and updated to Premiere Pro 2025 with a new project using the new color managment system which is great to use until I save and exit Premiere and then restart it and open the project and my timeline clips that have been color managed with Color/Settings/ Override Media Color Space have resorted back to their raw states even though in each clip the Override Media Color Space option is checked and Hue Preservation is also checked. . I have seen someone else has already also reported this and I'm confirming the issue. Basically I have to go into each clip one by one and reset the Color mangaged profile (Currently its DJI D-Log/D-Gamut) by choosing another profile then re-choosing my desired profile. Then the Input Tone mapping goes back to Hue Preservation setting goes back to By channel and I have to re enable Hue Preservation for each clip and effectively lose the original Exposiure and Highlig

I have applied the metadata & timecode burn-in video effect but did not see it. On a hunch I adjusted the vertical position and was able to raise it into view. However as soon as I released the mouse the time-code window disappeared. Seems like a bug. Attached screenshot shows result when I am actively adjusting the vertical position, but as soon as I release the TC window is gone.

I am on 25.1. This is obnoxious. For some reason audio I have manually synced, comes unsynced from eachother seemingly randomly. I have manually fixed the entire video like 5 times. Both audio tracks are lined up with the end of each clip and that ever changes. The only thing that changes is I move the video track and two audio tracks at the same time. Then I'll zoom all the way in and look at the wave form and it will not be where I adjusted it. I've never encountered this problem before and I am now dreading doing any kind of audio adjustments until right before the final render. Is this a known problem? This is my first project on Premiere Pro 25. Linking the channels is not an option as they require seperate effects.

With voice enhancement on Premier Pro, it stays downloaded for an extended period of time. The same thing happens with other computers. It stays on standby for more than 24 hours and 0%.  It works with other video files as well. It's the same if it works in a different internet environment. It's the same if it works with a different computer. CPU: Intel i7-12700KGraphic card: 3080RAM: 16GBwindow11 pro, 64 bits

Problem: When i want to drag an clip in my timeline the mouse position and the location of the clip is completly misaligned. Like the mouse courser is in the middle of the screen and the clip is "attached" to something on the right side of the screen. When moving the mouse the misaligned clip moves with it. Same happens if i want to add an effect to a clip or something in the sequence. So the whole Mouse <-> Position is wrong when dragging. For selecting it works perfect. When i move Premiere to my other monitor (4k) it works perfectly. When i change the screen scale in windows from 100% to 125% it works. When changing back it breaks again. It does not happing in other programs but also with the Premiere Beta Version. In e.g. Photoshop also no problems. I checked already updating my NVIDIA drivers, but i am on the newest version (tried studio and gaming drivers).   Premiere Version: 25.1.0 (Build 73) but also happens with the Beta Version of Premiere Windows 11 - latest upda

My playback working smooth and perfect until i open another window(i do alt tab to another app). If i open new window of any app/program and then going back to Premier Pro i need to wait for 5-15 sec until playback start working. Sometimes sounds starts working but not a video and i need to wait additional 5-10 sec to see a video. That is happening even if you do alt tab for a few seconds. I tried to prerender video, cache clean, GPU processing etc. nothing working. How can i fix it in other way?

I have a 3 monitor set-up and have always used my third (laptop) monitor as a timeline output full screen display (independent of the actual Program monitor in my editing interface). Adobe often refers to this as a Program preview display. Just updated to Windows 11, and now it won't allow me to have that full display on an unused monitor. I've tried the "Video Stream" output on all three monitors to no avail (under Prefernces\Playback). Oddly enough, while every other piece of software I use displays regularly, I note a degraded quality in Adobe projects, especially evident in text, be that text in AE, Photoshop or Premiere Pro...like an anti-aliasing issue or something. Any advice would be most welcome. Thansk,Eric

Perplexed by a new playback/performance issue while editing a feature film. Hopefully someone can shed some light on the possible causes(s)!!  My workstation is an HP Z8 and I edit features and network shows using Premiere Pro. I like to generally stay updated on the app, currently I have v25.1.0 but I also have 24. 0.3 installed. I've been editing a feature without any issues since November 2024. However just last week I began having problems with Premiere freezing after about 5 seconds of playback. The app becomes non responsive and eventually crashes and I have to either force quit using task manager or just restart the machine.   I have 6 internal SSD's in the machine, I have the project file on one, the media cache on another, the audio previews on another the video previews on another, and the footage on another. My machine is fully optimized for editing and i dont run anything else on it. Because of all of this I have always enjoyed stellar performance. So I've been te

Adobe After Effects, Photoshops and Illustrator I have no problems with applications, but when I open Premiere Pro, it stays in the opening window and nothing happens, when I click on it, it gives an error like this. My computer hardware is Intel Arc A770 graphics card, i7 13700kf processor, 64gb ram and 1tb ssd. I am using Windows 11 pro. I tried a few versions from the latest version to 2024 and 2023, and I get the same error in all of them. I would be glad if you could help.

I'm copying various names from a Google sheet that represent various sequence names that have been decided on, and it appears that upon copying these names (by pressing CMD+A and CMD+C on each cell), they are coming with an invisible extra character at the end, a return/enter (↵).Normally, you can't name, say, a premiere sequence with a return/enter included. If you press the return key, it won't input anything. However, you are able to copy and paste this invisible symbol into many different places in Premiere that aren't normally allowed to accept this symbol, such as sequence names or in the "Simple Text" effect text box. This appears to cause unintended behavior where it becomes hard to read or edit the text in places where you have accidentally included this invisible symbol. Here's a spot where I labeled a piece of footage as Test_Title(↵). You can see it looks normal in my project panel, but if I click on it and attempt to change the name, it offsets in a problematic way that make

I use a notebook to edit my videos and there is a problem for me when configuring the shortcuts, because the shortcut window is too large for my screen and I cannot make the necessary settings. How do I make the window smaller for my screen?

When scalling tracks down to their smallest vertical size, the cut points (clip ends) switch from black outlines to white outlines. This makes the edit points very difficult to see. The audio track outlines do not change color, just the video tracks. I've attached a few screenshots to illustrate. (Using Version 25.1.0 Build 73 on an M1 Pro Mac Studio.)

playback stutters when playing an interlaced timeline through BM ultrastudio monitor 3g on macos   Steps: 1. Create a 1080i (25i) sequence in premiere on macos 2. import footage (for example uhd 50p in prores or anything else) and edit it inside the sequence 3. enable mercury transmit through blackmagic mini monitor 3g 4. playback the sequence   What should happen: playback should be smooth on an m2 max processor with 32 gb ram.   What happens: playback stutters massively, lots of dropped frames, sometimes breaks of almost a second. when the sequence is set back to 50p playback is fine on the bm 3g. In resolve playback is fine in any setting - also in 50i. This bug has been there since at least two years in any premiere version and is still existant in 25.1 and 25.2 beta.

Version of the app: 25.1.0 Build 73Platform and OS version: Windows 11Basic steps to reproduce the problem: Open up a premiere pro project and press playExpected result and actual result: Expected the timeline to playback/run normally. Actual results, it's just flickering, I don't really know how to explain it, please watch the video. This is happening only now, after I have updated Premiere Pro to the latest version a few minutes ago. Everything else seems to be working fine. No issues with the audio or the video itself. It's just the timeline.Video capturing the issue attached.

In the property viewer of an essential graphic, when using the mouse on my macbook pro kb, right or left scrolling not only changes the number, but the cursor moves to. the cursor should not move right to left.I have a video here that shows that.  PR 25.1

Since upgrading to Premiere 25.X, I have a UI glitch with Stacked Panel Groups. If I have the a panel in a stacked group, the panel itself overflows the group. This means that I have to scroll down within the panel to access the UI elements and buttons at the bottom, like the List/Icon View, Create new Bin, etc. of the Project/Bin panel. If I have a long enough list of items in the bin, I cannot click and drag a media item into the "Create New" button to make a new sequence from the item because the UI won't scroll down while dragging. In addition, scrolling with the mouse wheel while hovering over the panel stops partway sometimes, forcing me to click and drag the scroll wheel. This happens with all panels, not just the Project panel, but it's the most inconvenient one.If I use non-stacked panel groups, the panel resizes itself to fit the size of the group properly and the scroll bar is only for the items within the panel:EDIT: here's a larger screenshot for more c

Not sure what the hell has happened to Premiere in the last few weeks, but it has become insanely unstable and buggy, to the point that it either crashes immediately after opening, or crashes the moment I try to select anything in the Edit window (specifically selecting the Mask for a Gaussian Blur, but plenty of other identical responses, as well).Hardware is fine. Settings are fine. I've gone through the troubleshooting steps Over and Over. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, rolling back (identical crashes on 24.6.1, 24.6.3, 24.6.4, 25.0, and 25.1). Verified the following, when the crashes occur;>12 GB RAM and >14 GB Virtual RAM availableGPU is NOT getting overloaded.Closed every possible other program.Verified ALL drivers are up to date.Upgraded After Effects to latest version.Errors occur regardless of status of GPU AccelerationErrors occur regardless of Audio IO settingsErrors occur both with custom/reset views and preferences Specs:Windows 10i7-10750 CPU32 GB RA

I have 2 workspaces I use to edit. The 1st workspace has the source and program monitor the 2nd is a timeline only. If I open bins and sequences and begin to work in workspace 1, when I switch to workspace 2 the bins move to different locations on screen or are closed and the sequences I have open in the timeline from the 1st workspace also shift in there order(if I have multiple sequences open) or some may close as well. It is a real headache. When working this same way in Avid Media Composer the bins and sequences remain untouched when switching workspaces. Is there a setting or way to stop this from happening.

Premiere 25.1.0 (Build 73) MacOS 15.1.1 (24B2091) I have a simple script that inserts a text caption MOGRT into a timeline and then adds values to each field within that MOGRT. Several of these fields are text boxes.  Lately, the automation script seems to work, as the MOGRT correctly produces captions on screen, however the entered text does NOT appear in the MOGRT's corresponding text box. If I click into the empty text box, all of a sudden the text that was correctly appearing onscreen disappears.  It's like the MOGRT is holding invisible "ghost" values for the text box, that you can't see, but are still rendering on screen, but then when you click on the text box, they disappear.  Does that make sense? It seems like the UI is not updating properly after the text-box values are automatically entered. I realize this is a very niche problem to have, but it does speak to something that might have broken in the v25 update perhaps? I can
