Installed a trial of the new version of PR on my laptop to give it a test run of the 24.0. Reinstalled 3 times already but I can't see the Timeline settings in the Preferences. Is it just me or my machine? Hoping anyone could chime in. Thanks.
I've been using the new text panel to transcribe some source clips and it was stuck on one clip, so I left that sequence to work on another one while it did its thing. I reopened the text panel to this error message. I restarted the text panel, then restarted Premiere, then restarted the computer, none of which worked. I opened the project on another system using the Productions project and the error persisted on their system as well. All of my previously transcribed clips were also affected and now the text panel doesn't work at all in this project. I brought the affected clip into a new project outside of the Production and the text panel recognised it, but trying to retranscribe it ends with the same error. There's nothing weird or corrupt about the clip itself. It plays and interacts with the NLE as normal. At an hour and 46 minutes long, it's on the longer side, but we have clips as long in the original project that Premiere had no problems with. It's a simple Q&A i
We are editing in Premiere some footage that was shot with a Sony FX3. In Premiere the audio has a 2 to 3 frames off-synch wich does not appear in Davinci Resolve neither in FCPX. We thaught it was the cam, turns out it's Premiere. Even when audio scrubbing is on we hear it off-synch. We tried in 2 different computers and it's only in Premiere. Hi, we record our footage on a Sony A7s3 in the 4k HEVC 10-Bit. Whenever we import the footage into Premiere Pro, the audio is out of sync with the footage by about 1 frame. We noticed this because we also use the H.264 proxies recorded by the camera. When we toggle the proxies, the footage stays in the same spot, however the audio waveform shift by about 1 frame. The thing is the proxy's (h.264) waveform is correctly synced with the video, but the original media's waveform is not. I did a test by recording H.264 on our Sony A7s3, and that footage was synced correctly when we imported it into premiere pro, so it seems it is only an issue with the HEVC Codec. I importat the HEVC files into DaVinci resolve, and they are correctly synced there. So it seems to also be any issue in premiere pro. Right now our solution is just to manually sync the video to our external audio recorder's audio file. We'd like to continuing editing in premiere because our workflo
After upgrading to the 2019 version of Premiere Pro CC I'm getting this error when opening any project. I can edit the project but I don't know if any work that I'll be doing will be compromised by this error. I need a position about this problem to continue working in any project in the 2019 version.
Hello, my Premiere Pro keeps crashing repeatedly a few seconds after it loads the project.
Windows 10 Pro 22H2, 64 Bit. Hello,I just opened my projects after updating to the latest version of Premiere and all my MXF files are showing up squished with half the frame green. I have no idea what happened. When I open the files from Finder they look fine, and everything was working perfectly before the upgrade. See attached image. Same problem when viewing clips in After Effects as well. HELP! I'm on deadline and not sure what to do. May try downgrading to the last version to see if that fixes it for the immediate project.
Bug description: When sending a sequence to media encoder using the ALT+SHIFT+M keyboard shortcut on Windows, it doesn't respect the timeline I/O settings and will set an incorrect out point on the sequence you are trying to send. It seems like it only remebers the out point from the last sequence you went into the export dialog and THEN hit the "send to media encoder button." Makes the shortcut basically useless as you still have to open the export dialog to make sure the right i/o points are set. Steps to reproduce in this video: https://youtu.be/XREOD9WhivQ Expected behavior: The "send to media encoder shortcut" will use the currently availible In / out point of the sent sequence or the currently availible work area. Not the previously sent one. Workaround: Doesn't seem to happen if you have "import premeire pro seqeunces natively" unchecked in media encoder.
I continually get a pretty generic error message from Adobe any time I am using an application, yet there never seems to be an actual error as the application runs and works as normal. It's become an incrreasingly bigger nuisance as it can pop up multiple times when I'm working on an edit in premiere pro, and even comes up on AE and the like. My applications are all updated to the newest versions, which makes the error message make no sense as it suggests to me that I should update the application. Does anyone know how to get rid of this bug? Thanks.
Playhead always stutters when browse panel in Essential Graphics is open while playback. When you change to edit section or close it, problem disappear.
My Premiere keeps crashing and freezing for no apparent reason. For instance: If I press play in my timeline, and try to trim an audio clip (while the playhead is playing), premiere freezes for about 5 seconds (audio and video freezes, then after 5 seconds playback starts). This never used to be a problem in premiere before and it slows down my worklow significantly. Similar freeze whenever I jump to a different spot in the sequence and press play. Hi! I'm importing 4x3 ProRes 422 HQ 3840x2660 files (coder Lavf60.16.100, creted in Gyroflow 1.5.4) into PP 25.0. During the import for unknown resons PP25 interprets some of files as 16x9 3840x2160, while others (about 30%) are imported ok in 4x3 format. In PP 24.6.3 no such issues, all files from the batch imported correctly (4x3). Regards Mikhail
I updated my Premiere 2 days ago to Premiere 25 and will be reverting back to 24 until these bugs are fixed. I was making transition effects with adjustment layers adding transform motion and gaussian blur to add motion blur. I was having crazy difficulty getting these effects to work in sync on the adjustment layer together. Once gaussian blur was added the anchor point would move on my transform movement, I also couldn't fade in and out the gaussian blur - if i added key frames it would just disable the effect entirely. When I shut down my computer and came back the next day the effects that I had added had shifted all the way to the right and couldn't be fixed so I had to recreate the transitions all over again. I'm also struggling with label coloring. I use labels in my every day edits and it is getting really difficult to edit without them. After cutting up a long one-take interview I want to be able to label highlights of that cut with a specific color. When
Dupe Detection isnt working properly again. If I take a clip on my timeline and copy and paste it to another part of the timeline, the duplicate has a colorful line on it to show its a duplicate, but the original one has no colorful line on it at all. I have a video I shot on my iphone that I'm trying to create transcripts on. I had no problems creating transcripts at one point, but then after updating Premiere it stopped working. I've searched the forums and tried multiple things, but didn't work. Even went as far as uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 and rebooting my computer multiple times and making sure there were no pending updates. If I create a Project with the same clip in Adobe Premiere Pro 2023, then it gets transcribed without issue. I'm running the latest version of Premiere on an Apple M1 Max with the latest operating system installed. I recently shot footage with a Canon C300 mkii. It was for a British client, so I shot at 25p for the first time (no evidence this is relevent to the problem though). I have used this camera with Premiere for years with no issues. When I look at the MXF files using a media player, they look clean. However, in Premiere there are a few clips with these bizarre Magenta, Green, or Cyan bars running across for a single frame, littered across my footage. They seemed to show up about 8 times over 6 hours of footage taken over 4 days. They are in the same place in the same clips no matter how many times I import them. I also tried it on a new Macbook Air and inexplicably they show up there too, same place, same files. And again, I have reviewed the files in the camera as well as with a media player and no such bars show up. I have attached a couple examples. What is goi
Hello Adobe Support Team,I am encountering a critical issue with Adobe Premiere Pro 24 that is significantly disrupting my work on Windows 10 Enterprise . Here are the details:I can create a new project and save it, but once I close the project and try to reopen it, Premiere Pro stays on a black screen and subsequently crashes. This issue is present across every version of Premiere Pro 24 (including the mos recent one 24.6.1)I installed Premiere Pro 23.6.9 using the "other versions" tool in Adobe Creative Cloud and I'm able to create and save projects using this version.Steps I’ve already taken to try and resolve the issue:Reinstalled all Adobe products, including using the Adobe Cleaner tool.Wiped my computer, formatted it, and reinstalled Windows.Reinstalled and repaired every version of Microsoft Visual C++ on my system.Despite these efforts, the problem persists. My company’s IT department was unable to provide further assistance on this matter. While I am transitioning to DaVinci Re

I'm going to mark this as a bug because there's no way this large a hit to usability can be intentional. One of the newer versions of Premiere (24.4?) changed the selection border on clips on the timeline, and the new border is really difficult to see. Like, difficult enough to see that I can't actually use it -- it simply isn't obvious enough for me to easily be able to see what I have selected! This isn't something that someone could "just get used to", there's simply not enough pixels and not enough contrast there to make it visible. This problem continues into Premiere 25, which has some nice features I'd really like to be able to use, but I can't, because, again, I can't see my selection on the timeline. I've included 2 images with this post -- one of them is an image of a timeline in the latest version of Premiere, with one clip selected. I challenge anyone to be able to find that clip at a glance. This is from a 4k monitor, so if you're looking at it on
Hi!I've created an issue in the foum for Premiere Pro (Beta), and was unheared:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-beta-bugs/bitrate-issue-in-premiere-pro-beta-v-25-1-0-005/idi-p/14848061#M3622Now, this problem in the Premiere Pro (NOT beta), and there is no way to save video with the good bitrate, using any fresh Premiere Pro version.
Hello, I recently updated to v25 of Premiere Pro and a lot of extensions have broken UI in it. My guess is that it has something to do with css Flexbox. Will this issue be addressed in the upcoming updates or developers will have to rewrite the code for it?UI is displayed perfectly in v24 and older

When I go to export a sequence, the export window fails to load. The problem is inconsistent - it only happens with some sequences. Steps to encounter:1. In a sequence, have the timeline selected.2. Go to file -> Export -> Media Result: nothing happens.Expected: export mode window opens. While some sequences won't export, I'll open different sequence and find that I can export it without issue. (And when I go back to export the prior, 'problematic' sequence, it will continue to fail to export.) Sometimes making a new project somehow enables export mode to open for the problematic sequence. Sometimes the export window pops up extremely belatedly. At one point, I was sending the sequence to Media Encoder, and Media Encoder was freezing. I'm using the public release of Premiere v24.5.0 (Build 57)OS: macOS Sonoma 14.7
I'm currently editing an aftermovie for our company-party. I've recorded it with 7 cameras (all internal timecode synced). 4 of those are timelapse cameras which are running realtime. They are a GoPro 9, 11, 12 and a Panasonic GH5. I've imported all footage and sycned it with TentacleSync. Now whenever I reopen the project, the footage of the GH5 and the GoPro 9 is offset. Like its not correctly linked. It's showing the "Danger lines" (see yellow label for the GH5 footage) Nothing has changed in between reopening the footage. No name changes, no drive letter change, just a simple restart. All footage (total of 1.34tb) is on a T7 ssd from Samsung. Any ideas?
