Hello camera raw team.I am glad to see that ACR 10.3 has a big update. It add a new profile called "Adobe Color". I can't find any dcp files related to it.Can someone tell me the dcp file paths?Best wishes!Chlheng
I had to uninstall Bridge the other day due to some computer issues and since doing that and reinstalling I can't access my presets or create any.Within Camera Raw it is greyed out to right:Under Edit/Develop Settings the "Apply Preset" option is no longer there:And when right clicking on image it's not there under "Develop settings" like it used to be.All three of these options used to give me the option to apply the preset.I've looked all over this forum and the internet trying to find an answer but can't seem to.Any ideas???Thanks!
If I drop a DNG into Photoshop, it opens the ACR and I can see the new profiles. I see my favorites, Adobe Raw, Camera Matching and Legacy.BUT.. if I open the same DNG from Lightroom, either as a file or as a smart object and then open it in the Camera Raw filter, I do not get the option to select a profile. It defaults to Color or Monochrome... The artistic ones are there, but the adobe, camera matching, and legacy ones are not available.Same file... just a different way of getting it into PS...AND.. even the image I dropped in and could select a profile on, once I open the image in PS, and then try to go back to the ACR Filter, those profiles are GONE... it again defaults to just the Color and Monochrome. So if I didn't pick it when the file first opened, I have no option to re-select it.This seems like an issue to me...
I downloaded the tutorial for building my own profiles. I have plenty of LUTs to build my own, not really interested in purchasing more 3rd party ones. I follow these guidelines but when I get to page 6, the documentation shows that I should see a dialog box for "NEW PROFILE" and give me options for the look up table file to load my cube. I only see the "PRESET" interface, not the "PROFILE" interface. Do I need to request some type of a development license or special plug-in in order to build my own profiles? It does not seem to be in ACR 10.3.0.933.
Hello. Just updated the Camera Raw yesterday. I now cannot open the same CR2 files I was working on before the update. None of these files I shot were with Dual Pixels. They should just be Raw files period. Anyone else having and issue? Did you resolve it?I uninstalled and then reinstalled Photoshop. This did not fix the issue.Any help would be appreciated.Rw
I have ACR 6.7 but want to have the latest version of ACR. I have downloaded 10.3 (i think that's what it was) but when i open CS5 and Bridge, the plug-in shows it's version 6.7. Am i not able to have any newer ACR versions anymore? I REFUSE to do the Cloud after spending so much money on a perfectly good working version of Photoshop, but there are some features on the newer versions of ACR that i would really like to have. I have a bunch of stained glass windows and want to play around with the auto perspective fix. Thanks in advance. I also don't want to uninstall/re-install CS5 if i can avoid it.
I downloaded the profile creation SDK from http://www.adobe.com/go/profile-sdk and I am following the steps for creating "My First Profile". Everything works as described until I save the profile. The saved "My First Profile" does not appear in the Profile Browser. In fact, there isn't even a "User Profiles" group at the bottom of the list as expected. Any ideas? Anyone else having this problem?

Today I did an update to ACR 10.3In this version I miss the Dehaze (Dunstfilter) filter. How to get it back?Andreas
Hello all,I've updated on Windows to the latest and greatest Camera Raw version 10.2.1.895 (the one that fixes Photoshop version error). The problem I describe here happened to me with the 10.2 version and also with this updated version. When I open a .jpg file from Bridge on Camera Raw and I convert that file to a DNG file, Camera Raw, Bridge, nor Photoshop can open the generated DNG file. I get no image preview on Bridge, and camera raw gives me an error like this:In this case, the DNG file is an export of the JPG immediately to its right.I've tried this with several JPG files, both old and new, and the behavior is 100% consistent.EDIT: These are the options I'm using to save the file as DNG from Camera Raw (should be pretty harmless...):Any ideas?
Can anyone tell me what has happened to my Xrite Colorchecker Camera profiles in the new ACR. Specifically, how can I install/re-install them in the new interface. Thanks
I've just updated Photoshop CC and lightroom on my PC and now I cant open RAW files, PS crashes any ideas out there?
Where have all the Camera profiles gone in LR and PS.....?Latest updates installed today (5th April 2018).Canon and Nikon etc profiles are no longer available, or at least are hiding somewhere...question is, WHERE !...????????????????????
I have a student whose ACR 10.2 Filmstrip area appears to be an older version. There is no option to Merge to HDR or Merge to Panoramic. Any ideas?
I have a Hasselblad digital back that delivers a slight greenish tint out of the camera. The actual color temperature is pretty close, but it's necessary to add something like +60 magenta tint to get the white balance correct. This occurs whether viewed in ACR, Photoshop, Hasselblad Phocus, and MAC Preview.Using the DNG Profile Editor I had expected that the software would use the neutral patch on the color chart to correct the white balance during the process of generating the profile, but that does not seem to correct the green tint. Can I even solve the issue I'm trying to address in this manner and if so what might I examine to determine what I am doing incorrectly ?
I'm still working with Lightroom 6 (not CC)Camera Raw is not supporting RAF RAW files from my new Fujifilm camera and should use DNG converter to ceonvert the RAW files to DNG first. After installing DNG converter on my desktop (Windows 10) it all seems to look fine. When I double click on the icon or exe in /programfiles/adobe/DNG converter not much seems to happen.I also installed the DNG converter on a laptop and there it opens the application nicely and I'm able to do the conversion succesfully. But that's not where my Lightroom resides.. ;(Deinstallation seems not to be possible... I don't see an uninstaller nor DNG Converter seems to be registered in Windows as an installed program.Any idea what's goining on or how to get this working on my desktop?
Hallo !
Hi Adobe-Users,in advance: Sorry for my english, I try my very best. If anybody speaks german: it would be much more easier.I've got lots of troubles with my Lightroom 5.7.1 (Camera Raw 8.7.1.) at Windows 7, 64 bit, Intel Core i7-4510U, 8GB RAM.THE ONLY SOLUTION MAY BE DNG CONVERTER.But first the main problem: Lightroom can't work with Sonys ARW-Files (ILCE-A7M2). Adobe Cameras supported by Camera Raw says, it should work but it doesn't.Some people say, the only solution may be to convert the files with DNG Converter, but the program (current version 10.2) doesn't work - I can't start it, an error pops up, that's all. But if I copy the program-files to an usb-stick and start it (directly from stick) on my girlfriends computer (very old, very slow) it starts. WTF?Are there any people who can tell me, what's wrong with my system? For information: In addition to Lightroom it runs Adobe CS 6. And no, I don't want to upgrade to Adobe CC, because it's too expensive at the moment.Best regardsD
Hi! This is a very silly question, but I've just download dng converter and installed it in my computer. I double click to open it and nothing happens. Why I can't open it? Thanks for your help, this is getting so frustrating.Rocio
现在最新版本的ACR不能全部显示打开的CR2照片 ,总是一张调色结束了 另一张才会打开。我想知道这是设置的问题还是版本的问题呢?谢谢!!
I created a new profile for a Canon 6D using the Adobe DNG Profile Editor, and saved it in the Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera\Canon EOS 6D directory (which already had the normal five Adobe Profiles). I noticed that the new profile is 325KB, while the normal ones are 272KB.Camera Raw (version 8.4.1.200) does not recognize/display the new profile in the Camera Calibration tab. Any suggestions?

Hi, can someone help...?Every time I try to open a RAW file (CR2 files, tried multiple files they can be read fine on my book pro so aren't corrupted) I get the error "can't complete the operation due to a disk error". The only way I can edit files is by going through Lightroom first but this is not compatible with my workflow.I'm Running an iMAC 27 5k (2017) with 8GB RAM and 4GB GPU (High Sierra 10.13.3)As I say it works on my MacBook Pro with the same files.Any ideas on how to fix this?
I converted D810 NEF files to DNG and discovered that the histograms of the two (unedited) files do not agree. Here are the Photoshop histograms; the left is the original NEF file, the right is the converted DNG. Any explanation ?
Dear all,my macbook crashed last week and after many days of reformatting and reloading software, I also loaded my CS5 programs again from the disk. I had in my ACR Jack Davis' presets that I had downloaded from On1 website. Unfortunately On1 now still offers ACR presets but only for CS6 and CC versions. These do not work on the 2010 based ACR. Could anyone point me to CS5 ACR presets (I cannot find these anywhere anymore on internet) or could share these presets with me?Thanks in advance.
