Hi all, I have searched at length for an answer to this but to no avail. I'm hoping that someone here will have a quick fix.In my workplace we are currently running different versions of Photoshop/Bridge ranging from CC back to CS5 and CS6. The reason for this is that we have machines of different ages and our funding dictates that we can't update them all to the same version.Since getting our newest macbook which is running CC, i have noticed that any image adjustments that are made to .NEF files when opened in Bridge and edited in Camera Raw, are not being saved into the .xmp file, so when the image is opened in Bridge on another machine the image appears as it would straight out of the camera. Strangely, any cropping done on the CC machine remains intact, only image adjustments such as exposure are affected. So i guess my question is, is Camera Raw in CC incompatible with older versions, and if so, is it possible to tell it to edit in such a way that it is compatible with previous ve
I bought Photoshop CS5 extended a few years ago for a lot of money. Recently, I bought a Nikon d750 and now I can't open any raw photos. I am unable to update my Photoshop and am told I HAVE to subscribe to the new product on Creative Cloud if I want to open my raw images. Why should I pay for a product I already paid for? I'm willing to pay for the upgrade, but don't want to subscribe. Does anybody know where I can do this?
I get the following message when trying to download and update. Photoshop Camera Raw 6.5 Update There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again laterI have tried a number of times but without success
I just bought a used Nikon D600. Shot a Photo Booth, went to edit my "raw" files (they display as NEF) and I can't open them. I get this message. I installed the Creative Bridge Installer to check my updates, and it's installing, but I'm amateur and would love some help here.
I am using Photoshop CC 2017. When editing an image in Camera Raw and making colour changes the image breaks up. A mouse tap on the screen corrects it.It is most annoying. Can anyone help?
Better than the venerable “Retina” display? This is a tale of tech specs vs. your eyes.A few days ago we set out to do some speed testing of the 2015 15" MacBook Pro Retina vs. the November 2016 15" MacBook Pro Retina. Admittedly, we were distracted. It was one thing to monitor the speeds, but the two screens were so dramatically different that we had to refocus what we needed to learn. As seen below, the display of Apple’s new MacBook Pro has a much bigger color model, known as P3. There are also 500 more units of brightness and a 67% higher difference in the contrast ratio. All that’s good, right? Well… in many ways, yes.How about if you just meticulously adjusted a great photo in Adobe Camera Raw, using the new MacBook Pro and sent it to your client? It’s not going to be all that great is it, if the client doesn’t have a display as terrific as yours? This is not a new issue for us. We have had one of the first January 2015 Wacom Cintiq 27QHD devices ever shipped. That was the first di
I am shooting uncompressed RAW in Adobe RGB 1998 space with a new Sony A7R mkii. When viewed in CamRawCC or BridgeCC the files show an 8 bit attribute. I certainly want the 16 bit information. Is this an issue in the camera (although I see no issue regarding 8 vs 16 bit in any of the "capture" settings. Why is this happening?

Hello to all,I am a new user of Adobe Elements 15 and Camera Raw 9.8.I have bought some manuals HOW TO work in Camera Raw but I found that my ACR looks much different than these one's in manuals foto.In bookmarks of panels there is only "Basic" "Details" and "camera calibration" - it is my translation from Polish to English. So there is no: HSL/Grayscale, toning split, lens correction, effects adn the rest of panels. In the tools I do not have: filters - gradual and radial, no brush,Additionaly no workflow options...Here in attachemet I put my printscreen to show U what I mean and additionaly an image of "ACR as in my manuals".I tried to re-instal my Photoshop Elements 15 and not to update Camera Raw from 9.6 to 9.8 - nothig helped.I tried to open other raw files than these ones from my Olym[us OM-D EM 1 and it works/looks the same. Please explain me why my ACR look different or tell what to do to see all metioned tools and panels in ACR.Thanks in advance.BTW: sorry for my poor Engl
I tried instaLLING CAMERA RAW I got an error message. Mac netbook refurbished. Rookie operator all around. Can anyone help me with this?
Whenever I try to adjust anything using the Camera Raw Filter the photo breaks up in to large sections, usually over the area I'm trying to work on. The people at KELBYONE have been trying to help me for the last two weeks and are as stumpped as I am. Today they directed me to a Youtube site that shows that several others are having the same problem. I've got about 15 emails between me and KELBYONE trying to figure this out showing everything we've tried, if that will help. Below is the link to the Youtube video showing the same problem. I'd appreciate any help you can give.Paul Arnold[Email address removed by Mod]Photoshop CC 2015.5 Camera Raw Filter display glitch - YouTube
Ich verwende Photoshop CS5 Vers. 12.1 X64. Lothar Daub
I have ORF files created by an Olympus OM-D E10 Mk II, which is on the list of supported cameras as of 9.2. I'm trying to open them with DNG Converter 9.8, but they all show as disabled. Ideally I'd like to use the plugin to open them direclty in Photoshop, but all I have is Elements 11 and the plugin installer says "cannot install on your operating system" (I'm running macOS 10.12.3), which I assume is a crappy error message for "not supported by your Photoshop version". Can anyone suggest a way that I can open these files?
Hello Adobe Team! We're trying to develop a DNG compatible shooting application but we've seen that when we shoot DNGs in one of our reference devices and try to apply noise reduction in either Photoshop, Lightroom or Lightroom for Android or any other application that uses the Camera RAW engine, image becomes distorted and sharpness and color space is heavily affected. If we don't apply noise reduction, everything is working fine. We've tried contacting the manufacturer but they haven't been able to find the issue, so maybe someone from Adobe can take a look at these DNGs and tell us which parameter inside the DNG is making Adobe's noise reduction algorithm go crazy.I attach a couple of images so that you can see the problem. Could you please help us? At this point we're only having problems with Adobe software and it's really blocking us. I can send a dropbox / Google Drive with the DNGs for further analysis by Adobe or anyone that might be able to help. (max limit here is 8MB).Device2
...in a certain scenario; let me explain. If this belongs in the Bridge community, please let me know.Currently running CC 2017 on OS 10.11.6.Working with .CR2 files from 5D Mk II and Mk IIII've opened Bridge and navigated to the .CR2 files in question. Select a file and "open in Camera Raw" either by keyboard shortcut, button or right-click. Make adjustments in camera raw and then click "open image." Nothing happens. Photoshop is suppose to launch, but it doesn't. No error message is received. I've reset photoshop and bridge settings to no avail. I was having this issue with 2015.5 before the upgrade to 2017 as well. This is an institutional copy running on an institutional machine (but no fancy configurations, etc).I can only get raw files to launch from bridge if I double-click them. This launches photoshop and then camera raw. Adjustments can be made and the "open image" button will send the image to Photoshop with no problems.I realize this may be splitting hairs, but it used to wo
I removed EXIF from a DNG as test but ACR won't open DNG,also DNG converter won't open it when attempting to convertDNG ===> DNG in hopes that this would let ACR open it.How do I get EXIF-less DNG to once again open in ACR???Manually add some EXIF info?Copy EXIF info from any other DNG?Or??? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, This has been happening a lot to me recently. When moving a slider, the pictures shakes and jerks (not really sure what the correct terminology should be).It happens both in LR and ACR, and basically, when in LR, it feels like it flashes the unedited version of the picture, before I made adjustments. When in ACR, the picture gets sliced and replaced by other part of what's on screen!Any help or feedback would be appreciated!Win10-64 bit4GB RAMNvidia 750ti 2GBAll LR, PS, and ACR are up to date
Has anyone had issues downloading the DNG Converter for WIndows? I keep getting Access Denied. When I go to the DNG Converter link on the forum page it says page unavailable.
In Camera Raw my images are saving as jpeg.jpg for some unknown reason. Can anyone help please.
In Bridge preferences there is the setting to open RAWs in Bridge by doubleclick. I have activated this. Files like .nef and .cr2 open in Camera-Raw in Bridge. But it does not work for .fff files. They open in Camera-Raw in Photoshop. Also sometmies RAWs which have been edited bevore open in Camera-Raw in Photoshop. What do I have to do to open ALL RAWs in Bridge Camera-Raw?
Adobe Camera Raw, both in Bridge CC2017 and Photoshop CC2017, has started to omit portions of an image after an adjustment. Or it presents the upper left quadrant of the image in the lower right. Or similar strange behavior. Left clicking on the presentation snaps the image back to what it should be. I've purged caches but the behavior continues. I moved from Photoshop CS6 to CC in December of 2016.
