Hello !...I want to create a "longest word game"... (Thanks to Greg's ressources...)I manage to change the state of the letters without any problem...But I try to give the letters a % of appearance... I've been using this software for quite some time and while I've had issues along the way, today is a new one.I realize this has been reported before, and I've already tried all of the solutions given including renaming the SHCache folder, running the .bat file to clean things up, cleared the cache, modified the DPI Awareness from 0 to 1 etc... yet the program crashes every time. No warning messages, just the Windows working icon for a few seconds, then black screen. I'm using a Windows 10 machine that gets updated regularly.Any ideas???

Hello all, I have the problem that an interactive video in Nogle on Umbraco is not marked as completed when all slides have been viewed. I have now gone through all the possibilities I know of and cannot find the error. On another platform with Tin Canny and LearnDash the marking as completed works. In the Scorm Cloud preview via Captivate, some errors are displayed. Unfortunately I can only take screenshots as the log export and download does not work. Various screenshots as well as the LMS Preview XML file from the Scorm Cloud attached. What am I doing wrong? Many greetings

Hello,  I'm currently testing a project in our test LMS (built using Captivate 2019 v. 11.5.1.499). Everything seems to be working apart from the retake button. In the test LMS, it only seems to be displaying the score of the first attempt at the quiz, not the second/final score.  For example, the quiz has a pass rate of 80%. In my first attempt I scored 50%, so clicked on the 'retake' button. I worked through the quiz and on the second time scored 75%. However, when I look at my results in the test LMS it states that I scored 50%.  How do I get Captivate to push through the second attempt score to our LMS?  Any and all help greatly appreciated!

Hi,  So my issue is I have a project with 351 scorable points and nothing showing on the Advanced interaction menu (seen below). So I used to have click boxes that had a value assigned for the quiz so that if a user clicks it adds one point then once they reach the end and they have accumulated all the points the quiz is "Complete" and they can move onto the next module on the LMS. I am well aware of the pass once all slides have been viewed but this project has been modified that many times to try and get it to work on the LMS I have obviously done something wrong. After deleting all of the slides with click boxes and assigned point values its STILL showing the 351 points even though there are NO scorable points in the entire project. PLEASE HELP! I really need to finish this work by today and ive been trying for two days to no avail! Thanks  See below the advanced interaction and the pass/fail rate in the quiz setings page. 

Hey all,I'm trying to simulate a webpage bigger than the screen size in Adobe Captivate.In order to simulate scrolling, I need to move the images (some have hyperlinks) up and down.Is there any way I can group the images together to have the same move animation to simulate scrolling?Thanks!

Hello all,I am working with Captivate 2019 (11.5.5.676, english version), on the MAC and have the problem that duplicating a slide takes up to 5 minutes. Also copying and pasting a slide.Is there anyone here who can help me with this?Best regardsRalf

When trying to load Adobe Captivate I get an error saying "Adobe Captivate has Stopped Working" and a  notification saying that Windows Defender has blocked AdobeCaptivate.exe from making changes to %\userprofile%\documents Controlled folder, see screen shot below.  When I google this error it recomends to turn off controlled folder access or add an exception for Captivate.  Neither of these options is possible for me as I am using a work laptop where Controlled folder access is controlled by our IT services and they won't make these changes for me for security reasons. I wonder if there is an other way to resolve this issue as Captivate was previously working, otherwise it means that I am unable to use Captivate which is very frustrating and I don't understand why Windows Defender sees Captivate as a security threat.

I have v ersion 11.5.5.553. When selecting objects on one page - shapes/buttons- copying them, Adobe crashes when I go to paste on the next page with fatal error message.

Hi everyone: I have a responsive project, which works fine when previewing it on the local browser. However, when trying to test it on live devices I get the following error  message: Cannot GET /livepreview/qr.svg Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Sincerely, 

I use Captivate to delivery SCORM-compliant testing in my organization.  We import GIFT content into a template, massage it all into place, and then establish our SCORM paramters and Publish.  Everything looks great. Some time passes... we now need to update the quiz.  We go into the sourcefile, update the questions, maybe change a header where necessary, save, and republish.  So far, so good.  Everything looks updated in the LMS.Then we go in to create paper-copies of the assessment (for just in case), and when I go to File-Print-Lesson and print the updated content... it still prints the OLD content instead, including the old title (we add the most recent updated date to the title each time for versioning control).  Despite having saved and published, and it looks fine in those areas, the newly created printed lesson still shows the old content. We have tested this on four different systems, four different users, all on updated windows boxes, a

With Captivate 2019 already successfully installed on my machine and working 100%, I then tried to install Adobe Captivate's NeoSpeech voices .exe file, as an administrator, but all I get is a blank Adobe Captivate Voices Installer screen. The Voices filename: Captivate_2019_x64_Neo_Content_LS21.exeAdobe 2019 version on my machine: 2019   11.5.5.553

Hi, can anyone help.I have a Captivate 2019 project which has 25 topic buttons with navigation to each topic and at the end of the topic on the last slide a Continue button which takes the user back to the main menu and changes the state of the topic button to Complete. if the user exits they are returned to where they left off. The Continue button is included in the quiz and the whole module marked complete once the user has done all 25 topics. Everything works perfectly without the slides for each topic. I've started to add in the slides for each topic and all was fine until I added the latest set of slides. When I now exit and resume the user is jumped to a random slide in the module and completed topics are marked incomplete. This seems to happen once there are more than 300 slides in the project#. Does anyone know why?

Creating a new project from a PowerPoint and when it is published it shows the desktop it was published from as well as the slides.  Never had this happen before.  Any ideas?

HiI have been using Adobe Captivate for the last 2 years and I upgraded my PC to the following:Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700 CPU @ 3.00GHz 3.00 GHzInstalled RAM 32.0 GBSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorVGA card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER500 GB  SSD With that being said, using the program, editing and making slides is sometimes very slow, response time can be long specily when moving objects using the arrow keys on the keyboard, I doubt updating my hardware would change anything, at this point i think its a softweare problme, anyone is facing the same issues here? 

Hello everyone:I need help with a project that has seven slides. Each slide has three audio buttons (vocab_audio_1_1, vocab_audio_1_2, vocab_audio_1_3). Each button has two states, normal (play audio) and visited (stop audio).1. Initially, I set three variables (audio01, audio02, and audio03) each with an initial value of 0. Each slide has an advanced action script that resets all three variables.2. I created an advanced action script with conditional (see screen shots). When one audio button is clicked, the audio plays and the visited states shows up. In addition, the other two audio buttons change to normal state.3. I tested that action script and it worked fine on the first slide. Then, I decided to convert it to a shared script.4. I used the shared script for all the slides (changing the select variables), but when moving to the second and other slides, the toggling action did not work properly. 5. I added variables for each audio button, but it didn't work. Any suggestio

Action:1. If all buttons already done to click, the state from the other slide will be change to "read" else the state change to "normal" (solve)2. If we click the reset button, all of state will be change to "normal" and back to the initial. Problem:For the reset button, it can change all the states to "normal" but cant back to initial. When i run again and not finish the button then revisit, that state back to "read again".Do i have reset the variable, if so how?

Hello. I recently ran into a problem which I cannot solve.Since Adobe "divided" the account into Private and Business, I cannot sync the Adobe Captivate and Creative Cloud. I used adobe fonts from CC in my Captivate eLearning courses.I had the Adobe Captivate purchased from the Private profile, and used the CC on the business profile (same email login). However, some time ago Adobe started asking me to choose one of the profiles when I log in (private or business) and since then I am able to use only one of the packages at a time Creative Cloud or Captivate. If I login on my private profile I am not able to use the fonts and the creative cloud package at all, If I login on the business profile I am not able to use captivate (30 day trial starts).I reached the technical support and as I understood, there is still no way to connect the tools. If I want to purchase the creative cloud on my private profile it is giving me the option to UPDATE the current captivate subscription to Creativat

I have the glossary widget working for a project. I can click the words in the glossary and scroll up and down but when I clickt o jump to a letter it moves the widget and covers my exit button. Any help on fixing this?

I have been working on a project to make multiple interactive videos in Captivate and am about halfway through. A couple weeks ago, I tried to watch a published video and it wouldn't open. Then, I tried opening previous Captivate videos that I had viewed before and they no longer worked. I tried extracting & opening with file explorer,   and I tried opening straight out of winrar.   The errors I received are above. I also believe something changed in the published folder for the videos, but I haven't touched them since completing them. I've attached what the published folder currently looks like, as well. I had to reinstall Captivate a while ago, but it functions normally for making content. Something seems to be wrong with either the publishing or extraction, but I'm not sure what. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,I've created a project which displays absolutely fine on my own screens within Captivate Prime but for a colleague it displays too large and she has to scroll down the screen to see the bottom of the slides - is there some setting that I can switch on that means the slides display correctly according to the size of the learner's screen, including on the mobile app?

Here is a branching scenario that I have been tasked with building out in Captivate. I haven't been able to find any instruction on how to create a quiz in this flowchart style, where the user chooses a response and that choice dictates where they go next in the dialogue/quiz. Is something like this even possible? I found these examples that I believe were created using Storyline. So it seems that the concept has been done before. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to achieve this in Captivate? Thanks in advance!Kat V
