I would suggest creating a greater diversity of app plans--for example, an actual option for graphic designers who only need Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign, or film-makers who only need Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and Audition. Options where the bundle option is cheaper of there are 15 programs plus terabytes of cloud storage you don't actually need.
For optimizing our ETLA usage, this report will be handy in identifying the users who are not vary actively using the products and services. at the same time product wise (say photoshop, illustrater, primeria pro etc) utilization insights can be generated for the entire licenses.
This would be extremly handy for upgrade or migrations when one has to ensure the user has logged on or accessed CC after the upgrade event
I would like to add new feature to Admin Console to help me fully automate the licnesing assigment process using AD sync tool. Here is how the workflow would fully automate the process for ordering any Adobe licenseThe current workflow. The user goes to SCCM to request one of adobe products.Automation script runs to open a ticket on our ticketing system and ask for manager approval.Once manager approves the ticket. Ticket changes the status so that IT tech start working on it.IT tech opens Active Directory and add the user to AD group. Then process buying PO manually estimate 4 days delay.Adobe sync tool sync every hour with adobe.com to assign the appropriate product to the user.User receives email from adobe and sign in with SSO.Once user leaves the company, he will get removed from the AD group and by that the license will be available to be assigned to anyone else immediatly.I'm looking to eliminating step no. 4. “IT tech opens
We are an enterprise customer who utilise Okta as our IdP. Currently, we can use SSO from Okta, but cannot use User/Group sync from Okta for Automated Provisioning.
Suggestions to improve LIGHTROOM: To be able to FLATTEN a selecton, once perfected with whatever Adds and Subtracts were necessary to create it (e.g. When you ask Lightroom ot copy and Invert a selection, it will give a clean selection without all th Adds and Subtracts used to create the original) When making your next selection. To be able to Add or Subtract, or intersect a previously created Selection. To be ablel to Export a selecton created in Lightroom to Photoshop Camera Raw (and vice versa). In Grid View: after selection of more than one image to add Keywords and other metadata, If a LABEL is typed in, only ONE picture receives the Label, Not ALL the selected images. CAN THIS BE FIXED?
I know the announcement about the discontinuation of Adobe Creative Cloud sync'd files has been fairly well dissected by now, but I've got a slightly different take I wanted to offer about the announcement email. The email announcing the change to users was unhelpful and confusing. It was heavy with esoteric references and assumes users' familiarity with certain terms and functions, which is fine if you're deeply knowledgeable about Adobe's ecosystem but not great for the majority of users. Ultimately it makes us feel like we're being misled - even when we're not. Good communication with us as users goes a long way to improving our experience and opinion of Adobe, so it's unfortunate this announcment missed the mark. In the hope it might help anyone coming here for answers (and because I have nothing better to do 🤓), I actually took the liberty of rewriting the email... == The actual email from Adobe ==Dear Creative Cloud User,We want to let you
I use a lot of various Adobe Creative Cloud apps, but it would be nice to have our most recently used apps or favorites at the top of the app list or in a Favorites section, as a few tools I use daily, some I use seldom.
Please do not discontinue the cloud sync service. I and many people I know use the Creative Cloud system for syncing files through various devices, not just Adobe sync files, but many other files related to projects. It seems totally ridiculous and a massive loss of revenue to force users into finding another cloud drive service to fill this need of so many users. There isn't even an explanation except "modernizing"., whatever that means. Yes, I get that some files work as Cloud Sync files, but not with all apps, and I don't like that feature anyway, as I want more control over the files which that feature doesn't provide. The sync system works great and is such an awesome perk of being an Adobe user.
Request you to get complete active usage report of 141 Adobe licenses
The Adobe CC file navigation is really limited, can't even manage files in batches (ie. opening multiple files simultaneously or downloading more than 10 files at a time). These limitations feel like a step back.
You should be able to drag and drop files in the "Your Files" Section of Creative Cloud Desktop for fast sorting into folders. Thanks!
User Management: Allow Adobe admins to see when a user last signed into/access creative cloud or specific application. This helps for auditing purposes, to identify users who are not actively using Adobe products.
I would very much appreciate the feature in the future where you would be able to restore the cloud to a certain point in the past (Does not have to be like years or months back) But maybe a few days to a few months would be greatly appreciated.
Can the ability to block access to beta software entirely be added to organisational accounts regardless of where the software is downloaded from?
Remember CC Desktop App Window Position in Windows 10 rather than always have it open center screen. It DOES remember my chosen size. Should rember my desktop position. Easy....
Long time user and community expert. Don't know how others feel - but updating the Apps is a nuisance sometimes. Too many pop ups and intrusive notifications. I updated Creative Cloud Desktop and the amount of pop ups and Notifications was just overwhelming for me. Especially when I just wanted to do something simple in the desktop app. I've gone in and turned off all notifications, again. Can the app not just come up with 1 thing Do you want a tour?Yes/No For me it's very intrusive - not sure how others feel. For example - I can't find a way to turn off 'Discover' in preferences.I understand catering to beginners. But it doesn't cater to people who are already experienced and don't need these things. When I go to install Premier Rush Straight away I get a pop-up that's intrusive. Another exampleUpdated Illustrator - being using it for 25 years - and just did an update this morningStraight away It's kinda weird to hav
We sync our Google Directory users to the Adobe Admin Console. Currently, there is no automation of "deprovisioned" users. Removing them from the Adobe list of users is a manual process.
I used to use the adobe acrobat standard DC without the desktop app. Now that I have downloaded the desktop app, everytime I go into that app it wants me to sign to app and the desktop app is much more difficult to use and non intuitive, really a disappointment as software goes. Can you guys make the desktop app easier to use for people for who do not have a Masters Degree in computer science?
Managing the Admin Console for a higher-ed institution, we often see cases where members of our community change their email, usually accompanied by a change of name. This presents a problem when the primary identifier of an Adobe account is their email address, even though we use Federated ID. In particular, it causes an issue in Adobe Acrobat Sign where the user loses access to their previous account, including completed and in-progress agreements. This has been noted as a security concern as well. We would prefer for the Adobe Admin console and associated Adobe products to have the ability to use some other attribute, such as the campus ID number, as the primary account identifier instead of email. This would alleviate the problem with change of email address and security concerns.
Why, why, why, why does Adobe think I want to be forced to use a cloud solution? I don't need it, I don't want it, and forcing me to download it is just making it worse. When will companies understand that forcing people to use your software isn't a long-term positive for your company?
I believe that Adobe should add a Vietnamese interface to all of its apps. Vietnam has a population of over 100 million people, so it is important to make its products accessible to everyone.
REMOVING the Sync feature is the worst idea i have ever heard. I have 100 Gb in sync and i update and change files all the time between my computers. Cloud without SYNC is like "Creative Cloud" without any creativity at all. It is an essential workflow feature. With removing this, i am forced to changing to a different provider.Seems to me it then would be cheaper not to pay the annual fee of beeing a Creative Cloud customer at all.I think so.
