As a doctoral student who is also working full-time, it is more convenient when I commute by train to read and make notes, highlight passages, etc. on my smartphone or tablet. I access the papers from the cloud. How do I merge highlights, notes, etc., from different readings on different devices when I am on my laptop? I am hoping for some timely assistance as I have a paper to submit Sunday, January 8, 2017 before 11:00 pm Pacific Standard time. Thanks in advance!
So I have had CC for some time. I am currently working on a project in Lightroom which I have used since early versions. I am now also using the Mobile App (iPhone7 and DNG files). My expectation of workflow would be like below:- Take a picture in LR Mobile- Edit if desired- Sync to the CC Cloud (which I do and it says all files are up to date). - Go to the Web Based CC or to another system (my laptop) with CC on it and I should see that picture in Files under Assets. - I do not. It's no where but on the phone. On a different note, the CC App on the phone has a LIGHTROOM Tab (Files\Libraries\LIGHTROOM\Mobile Creations). But even though the LR App tells me all files are up to date, there are no files in UPDATED THIS WEEK or any other projects or files. So what am I missing? I watched the cloud icon count to 100% then tell me everything was UP TO DATE. I want to be able to take a pic with my phone, have it sync up automatically to CC, come home and have it available in LR or PS. It can't
Since the July, 27, 2015 update to the Creative Cloud Desktop app (2.2.0.129) a new log file called "CoreSync" in ~/library/logs is created daily (yesterday's was called "CoreSync-2015-07-27.log" and today's is "CoreSync-2015-07-28.log")...I am running 10.9.5 on a Mac. I do NOT sync anything with Creative Cloud. I do NOT sync TypeKit fonts or files. Yet the CoreSync files are showing up, and I assume another new log file will be created tomorrow. I don't recall seeing this particular log file being written in previous versions of the CC Desktop App, and am trying to figure out if this is something that should be appearing, or if it is a bug introduced with the latest update. Thanks in advance!
My CC Apps (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) constantly have the 'failed to sync' icon at the bottom right of the libraries panels. If I go on assets.adobe.com and look at my lirbabries saved there they don't all match properly. The screenshot below shows what is in the 'BGHS' library on assets.adobe.com And the below screenshots show what is in the 'BGHS' library according to InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.Notice the 'failed to sync' icon bottom right. All apps are up to date.I've tried restarting the Creative Cloud App.Pausing/Resuming Sync.Deleting the CoreSync database files but nothing works...Please help, this is making working as part of a team a nightmare as I can't share the assets.D
HiI need a sync setup similar to lightroom mobile, except that I need the same exact funksjonality between my laptop and my statonary computer. I don't use a tablet since I have an light end powerful laptop. I use a lot off other computer software on the go that can't run on a tablet, then I find no need for a tablet. This should be easy for a adobe developer to get going.
What files are listed in my "archive file"? I want to delete some to get more space... but I don't want to delete something that I am actively working on. In some cases there are 5 listings of the same file in my archive.
I am having problems with Core Sync clogging up my network connectivity. I have had problems on and off for months where my computer will drop my connection or will slow painfully down. I originally thought it was my ISP or my router, but have since pinpointed the problem to my computer. I have spent hours trying to isolate the problem and have finally been able to isolate it to Core Sync. While I am watching the data rate in the Wireless Diagnostics Performance window the signal will suddenly drop and then will bounce all around from top to bottom. As I watch the Activity Monitor, Core Sync will slowly creep up the list until it hits the top of the list. When I delete Core Sync the data rate returns to steady. But of course Core Sync won't quit and within a minute or two it's back creeping the up the list. I have found a couple of suggestions in dealing with Core Sync here on the forums. One was to delete the Core Sync preferences. That seemed to help for a little while, but not for l
I want to create a public link to my CC library and I am not getting the option to that when I hit the 'share' button. It just gives me the message 'Private: Only you can view this library. Create a public link to share a read-only view of this library with others.' but no link to create a public link. What am I missing?
Hi I am a new student user.i am unable to upload my work to the creative cloud. i either get an error message stating the file is damaged or that the file is locked.... ant ideas how to correct this.p.s i am a total tech numpty, so minimum tech language please.
Does anyone has experience with layers visibility and usability when it comes to viewing Illustrator (.ai) files with Creative Cloud (CC) assets web viewer? To me it seems a bit buggy and lacks some functionalities.I have a test file with 4 artboards and 6 layers. When I show/hide GRID or MARGINS the layer visibility state is not consistent through other artboards. Any help with this?
Same problem here. Its been syncing all day and have 4 of 2641 files...Whaaat?
Hi,I have a folder of 18 files that won't sync. When I clicked the icon for more information, it said it was because the title had a character that wasn't allowed. However, it doesn't have any such character! The file name has letters and underscores, and then the extension. I tried removing the underscores just in case. It still wouldn't sync. Any idea what's going on?
I have tried going through the steps shown here:Solution to the issue: Adobe Creative Cloud Libraries panel doesn't load in desktop productsAnd I am still having issues. When I tried the " Ensure that your firewall is not blocking Creative Cloud–associated processes" step, my web browser came up with the message "upgrade required" ... Also, I am working on a PC.I checked to make sure I have all of my applications up-to-date, and I do. But still no luck. The panel is working in illustrator or indesign.
Total storage for our team is 100 GB.Total size for all of our files is 75 GB.It was working up until September, now all that happens is it runs through and "syncs" all 6000 files and they all fail, and then it just repeats the process. Is this a know error, is Adobe's cloud basically down?Really a poor cloud storage service.
Hi Everyone,One of my users is using Adobe CC 3.8.0.310, Indesign CC 2015.4 Release (11.4.1.102) as well as Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 Release (20.1.0) on a iMac Retina 5K 27" Late 2014 Model running OS X Yosemite v10.10.5The user had been able to add Graphics, Styles and Colors to the CC Library available in InDesign up until 2 weeks ago, when faced with the following problem:All of the buttons here are grayed out, and I have no idea how to fix it, I have tried the followingFull Reinstall of all Adobe Products and Adobe CCDeleting the files of the OOBE folder in App Support, while logged in and while not logged in.Deleting the CoreSync *.db files in CoreSync Folder under Adobe App Support, while logged in and not logged in.Logging out of the user's account in CC and signing in as someone else.Logging out of the user's account, restarting the PC, relogging into the user's account.Restarting the PC.I'm so out of ideas! Please help!
I am just starting to use CC File Sync. I already tried to use the sync feature via the desktop app with about eight (8) .MOV files (100-200 MB each). Not a single file synced. I did what the online Adobe resources said to do. I dropped the files into the Creative Cloud folder on my Mac, and I saw the two blue arrows that indicate that the file sync is in progress. But even after leaving my computer up and running for several hours, not a single file synced. Later on, most of the files had the little red triangle with an exclamation point, indicating that the sync failed. I do have the CC desktop app. Am I missing something? Could the problem be with my upload speed? What type of speed is needed for this thing? My upload speed isn't incredible, but enough to upload a 300+ MB file to Dropbox in about 25 min. I have just tried uploading straight from the desktop website. It seems to be moving extremely sl
I purchased 20 GB storage through the Creative Cloud app but my storage limit has not increased. Adobe tech support sent me to Apple tech support who sent me back to Adobe tech support. I am getting an error message sometimes that says 'internal error'. If I attempt to repurchase the service, the app says that I am already subscribed to this service. I've tried everything! Please help!!!
Two weeks ago, I made a post covering some issues I've been having with Creative Cloud Assets. I originally spent an hour on the phone with Adobe Support, who directed me here and assured me I'd get a reasonably fast response. Now, two weeks later, I have yet to receive any indication that someone at Adobe is aware of the issue and willing to work with me to resolve the problem. Features that I've come to depend on no longer work, and I would really appreciate some assistance. If this isn't the correct forum, I'll gladly go explain the issue somewhere else, but I haven't even received something as simple as "Wrong help desk."
About two weeks ago, downloading layers from assets in CC stopped working. I've tested in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. I've tried several of the browsers to duplicate the issue on Windows 10, Ubuntu, OSX, and Fedora. I've confirmed the error with two accounts. http://adobe.ly/2d7fjoZ is a sample (should be public; please let me know if it's not) that I used to verify the issue with phone support, who directed me here. I have triple-checked that the settings allow extract and downloads. The console errors are inconsistent, but seem to indicate something on the server isn't happening the way it should.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Settings:Chrome:Firefox:And, for simplicity's sake, here's file with a rectangle and nothing else that exhibits the issue: Adobe Creative Cloud.
I have a folder structure containing many template documents for many products. I am able to send links from My Assets for these files to share, that's great. Now I want to carry this folder structure to my personal website.1) Do I, on my personal (not Adobe) website, hard link for each individual file that lives in My Assets to allow 3rd parties to download?2) Did anyone successfully use iFrames to embed and display Adobe CC Assets on their own website?3) Is there another way you may suggest?4) How can I track these asset downloads?Thanks!cem/inspirian
I do not see any versions of my files on CC Files. Please see the screenshot here:https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/versioning-faq.htmlI do only see comments – and yes, I have at least 5 versions of a file onlie. Updated via CC Desktop App (most current version) and also via "Replace" command online in the browser. What to do? See attached my screenshot:Best regardsHaeme Ulrich
I Have a total of 7.7 Gigis in my creative cloud files on my desktop, CC is telling me I have 20 gigs used even after syncing.I one had 20Gigs up there several months ago but I should not have that much anymore.ThanksThomas
I've read the November 8, 2016 announcement by David__B at the top of the File Hosting, Syncing, and Collaboration forum, which is titled:Adobe is currently investigating reports of file sync related issuesI've downloaded the LogCollectorTool.app and run it, and now I have a zip file full of logs. But Adobe wants me to turn on the very thing I don't want to turn on (CC file syncing) in order to send it to them, so I'm attaching it to this post instead. The link is below my signature.I hope my logs reach the dev who want it and that it helps in solving the problem. All best,Gregghttps://www.dropbox.com/s/tw5j5hldj9wl3fd/AdobeLogs-08112016-0907-Greggs-iMac-2.local.zip?dl=0
Right now, I pay I think around $35 more a month on top of the standard Google For Business cost and I get a total of 400 gigabytes.I want to switch to Adobe's Creative Cloud to start taking advantage of features like "VERSIONING" that Google cannot provide. Where I am concerned is the storage space and limitations on file amounts.Adobe can give me more than 100 gigs but I dont know how much. How much would 500 gigabytes cost me?Adobe has a 1000 File Count Limit. Does that mean I cannot have 2 folders with 600 files a piece for a total of 1200 files as long as I stay under the 100 gigabytes? If I buy more Cloud Storage, does that mean I can store more files or am I still limited to 1000 files total even though I increased my storage space to 200 gigs?
