I used to be able to find them here: https://www.adobe.com/support/digitaleditions/downloads.html And I checked here: https://www.adobe.com/ca/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html which appears to maybe be a newer version of the first site but even though it listss "download Digital Edition 3.0 here" the link just takes me to a Adobe Digital Edition Learn and Support page: https://helpx.adobe.com/support/digital-editions.html I used to regularly use the older versions (3.0 and 2.0.1) to troubleshoot errors customers (I work at a library) had so I'm curious if this is still a possibility. Thanks for any insights!
I have been using Digital Editions for years to read ePub books I borrow from my public library. However, within the last couple of weeks I have suddenly been unable to launch the app on my Macbook Pro (MacOS 13.2.1). When I click the icon, something flashes up on screen for a fraction of a second and then it disappears. The app does not launch. I have tried removing the app (using an app removal tool) and reinstalling the latest version from Adobe's site, and of course restarting my computer. I get the same result if I open the app itself or if I try to open an .acsm file downloaded from a library website. After the crash I get "Adobe Digital Editions quite unexpectedly" with a crash report (attached).
When I download a library book Adobe Digital Edition 4.5.2 Freezes. I use alt+control+delete for task manager to close Adobe Digital Editton. When I open it back up, the book is not there.I have Windows 10 laptop.Any help I would really appreciate.

Bonjour, J'aimerais changer l'autorisation d'un compte actuel sur mon ordinateur pour le changer pour un nouveau compte. Je n'ai plus le mot de passe et le courriel associé n'existe plus.
Hello! I bought 2 books from a vendor and got 2 acsm files. So I wanted to authorize my computer. Problem is that the login on the MacOs Version takes forever and at the end it's just not successful (no error message). I tried logging in on the iOS app (login there is succesful) but my problem is to bring the acsm books to my account in the first place which is not possible via iphone app. I tried both: loggin in via Adobe ID or do a local authorization without login. On both it does not finish at any time (I've tried it for 20 hours, I think it's not gonna make it). Any fix? I read on the internet that Adobe cancel support for ADE? But how am I able to access those books without ADE then? Thanks!
I am trying to sign into Adobe Digital Editions and I get the following error message: E_ACT_CERTIFICATE_INVALID. I can sign into my Adobe Creative Cloud console, though.
I work on lightroom classic 14.2 and I have a Problem displaying photo rating footer in grid view, neither the color label (information editable and which is very important for me) nor the rotation buttons are present. I went to the library display options management screen and at the very bottom, all checkboxes regarding the "show note footer" information were all checked. By changing the settings, I didn't notice any change. As a last resort, I closed and reopened Lightroom, but I still had the same problem. I'm convinced that this feature was still there yesterday. I don't understand.Has anyone had or is still having the same problem and were you able to resolve it?Thanks in advance.
please help me out I cannot dowload an ebook as the message seems to be solved by deauthorising the ade...however I can log in here...but not to do the deauthorisation. Typical agressive annoying and pathetic adobe issue....
I cannot enable the Auto Download button in the Android app settings on my Pixel Tablet. The tablet has been authorised, and the purchased content is available on my other two devices
Hello,I recently downloaded a book (The Lost Metal) for my Sony E-Reader. I followed the guide to set up my Adobe ID in Adobe Digital Editions, but nevertheless how i try to import the book, i always get this message: I already deleted the authotization, restarted the software, authorized again and downloaded a new version of the .acsm, but it keeps happening. Also, worth noting that the app for Sony E-Reader confirms my Adobe ID, but is not able to download the full ebook.Anyone with similiar issues?

On my PC (with a 12th gen i5!) Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12.112 takes nine seconds to start. Maybe this doesn't seem that long, but when I'm double clicking through a list of epubs looking for a book it feels painfully slow. I have seen lots of posts here saying ADE runs slow, but for me it is only slow to start. Once it has started I find it works very well. If I run Task Manager I see ADE is not using any CPU while it's starting, and if I run it on a much slower PC it still takes the same nine seconds, So I'm guessing the cause is something like ADE attempting to communicate with some Adobe server on startup and timing out. Some form of timeout is the only explanation I can think of for the startup to be slow but not to use any CPU. Whatever the cause, does anyone know why the startup is so slow and how to fix it? For years and years I used ADE v2.0 and I sure it always used to start instantly, but then at some point in the past it suddenly started taking a
I purchased a Google Play book and downloaded the ACSM to my desktop. When I try and open it with my Adobe Digital Edition, I get the error message "Error getting license. License server communication problem: E_Stream_Error"
I gave my mom a Kobo Glo for Christmas, but I can't get Adobe Digital Editions to work with it properly. I installed ADE 2.0 on her Windows XP machine and it recognized and authorized the Kobo, but when I try to open a library book on the Kobo, the cover appears and then the screen goes black and I'm returned to the main menu. The book is then marked as Finished. Other DRMed books on her Kobo (free ones from the Kobo Store) won't open, but display an error message: "Oops! This document is protected by Adobe Digital Rights Management (DRM) and is not currently authorized for use with your Adobe ID [etc]..."I've tried some of the suggestions I've seen here, including deleting the authorization on the device and reconnecting. I've also tried deleting the Digital Editions folder on the Kobo and reconnecting. Nothing appears to be resolving this problem. I guess the next step would be to revert the Kobo back to factory and start all over. Any other suggestions? J> (on behalf of my mom on

Was läuft hier falsch?Und ich stimme anderen Usern zu: Warum ist ein so grosser Anbieter wie Adobe nicht fähig, für so was eine Lösung zu finden? Das Problem besteht seit Jahren. Benutzerfreundlich geht anders...

I was using Kobo through ADE. After several initializations, I saw a warning about exceeding the authentication limit. I contacted customer support, but they said they do not support it.I tried to delete my account and re-register, but deleted accounts cannot be reused. This made it completely unusable. I am frustrated that I cannot solve the problem while seeing the error message displayed as [uuid:].
So I tried to erase the authorizations for my adobe editions so i could fix the (error check activation) error i was getting but now I can't erase the activation it keeps saying cannot erase activation at this time please try another time but when i do it still won't work! Please HELP!
I wanted to connect my Kobo eReader to the Adobe Digital Editions to be able to load ebooks - however the instructions given don’t seem to work with the app. I have a usb C to USB adapter to be able to connect the Kobo to my iPad Pro. The Kobo is recognized when I go to the iPad Files app, but not in the ADE app. Am I missing something or is the app not going to recognize the Kobo?
Merci
Hello,I am the proud, and happy, owner of a reMarkable tablet. Wanting to try out it's eBook feature, I bought an eBook (epub), but ADE doesn't recognize my reMarkable, I've been able to load the eBook from the finder into the reMarkable app, but when I open the file the pages are all white in the app on my Mac, and the eBook won't even open on the tablet.reMarkable have announced that for the time being DRMs are not supported, but I don't know if the eBook I bought has a DRM, is there a way to know? Is that the problem? How do I (we, reMarkable users) ask Adobe to make the reMarbale tablet and/or app recognizable and compatible with ADE?Cheers,Damien
I downloaded an eBook from the public library to my Android smartphone and opened it in Adobe Digital Editions. My smartphone is connected to the eBook reader (PocketBook Verse Pro) via USB. How can I download the eBook to the reader?
I need to setup Adobe Digital Editions on a new Windows PC, and I do not currently have access to my old Windows PC that had Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) running on it. The prompt, while initiating authorisation, says that using an Adobe ID will allow me to read books across multiple devices running ADE. However, when I use an Adobe ID that was used to authorise ADE on my previous Windows PC, it says that I cannot use an already existing Adobe ID that was used on a previous computer. Isn't this quite contradictory? I mean, if I need to transfer DRM protected items across devices, I will have to setup each device on the same Adobe ID, if am not wrong. But it is asking me to authorise my computer using a new Adobe ID? I really do not know what is going on.
