Je souhaiterais copier des extraits d’un ebook que je viens d’acheter, mais c’est impossible. Merci pour votre aide.

Bonjour,Je ne parviens plus à ouvrir mon eBook avec Adobe Digital Editions. Malgré plusieurs tentatives (désinstallation à cinq reprises, redémarrage de l’ordinateur, réinstallation de l’application), le problème persiste.Dans mon compte, aucun appareil n’apparaît comme connecté. Pourtant, sur ADE depuis mon PC, je suis bien associée à mon compte Adobe et il m’est impossible de supprimer l’autorisation.J’ai également modifié mon mot de passe afin de forcer la déconnexion. Cependant, après réinstallation d’ADE, aucune demande de connexion ne m’a été proposée et l’autorisation était toujours active.Je vous remercie par avance pour votre aide.

Bonjour,Je possédais ADE 2 depuis plusieurs années, sans le moindre problème ; en voyant une mise à jour vers la version 4.5.2 je télécharge et l'installe sous windows 10.Depuis, impossible d'ouvrir le moindre fichier !Après plusieurs désinstallations et réinstallations, nettoyage du registre, réinstallations d'anciennes versions, plus rien ne fonctionne, ADE refuse obstinément d'ouvrir le moindre fichier et se ferme avec un message d'erreur.Quelqu'un a-t-il une solution, car je n'en trouve aucune ?Et je n'aime pas particulièrement les autres logiciels...Merci

For years I’ve been downloading acsm files from the library > double-click opens ADE > copies book to Kobo (plugged into my PC) Since yesterday, I’ve downloaded the acsm umpteen times, de-authorised / authorised the PC several times but no improvement. I have most recently tried deleting the registry key   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\AdeptRe-authorising the PC put the key back …. but didn’t change the result … it’s the same error. Hopefully, someone can tell me how to move forward with this … 😮

ADE 4.5.12 (Windows) keeps crashing when trying to download new book or within 3 minute after opening the app. ADE has crashed a lot on me in the past but it was managable, now it is unusable. Did a Windows update break ADE? How the heck do I get my book? Do I need to contact Kobo to get my money back? I liked ADE because I could have my digital library in one place regardless of where I bought my book, if it is going to be this unreliable I am going to have to go back to physical books or DRM free ebooks, this is a nightmare. 

Hi all — I’m hoping someone at Adobe (or anyone who’s solved this) can advise. I’m trying to transfer library ebooks (BorrowBox / ACSM) to a Kobo Clara BW. The workflow is: download .acsm → open in Adobe Digital Editions → connect Kobo via USB → Copy to Device. Problem: ADE consistently crashes during the copy/sync step to the Kobo. My setup Mac: MacBook Pro (Apple silicon M2 Pro) macOS: 15.7.3 (Sequoia) ADE: 4.5.12 (1) Kobo: Clara BW  Where it fails ADE launches fine and can open the .acsm Crash occurs when attempting Copy to Device / syncing to the connected Kobo (USB) Crash report shows: Code Type: X86-64 (Translated) (running under Rosetta) Exception: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) Crashed Thread 0 in: adept::DRMProcessorImpl::syncToDeviceResp(...)    What I’ve tried Full uninstall/reinstall of ADE Deleted ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and ~/Documents/My Digital Editions and re-authorized Different USB cable/port, direct connection, reboot Still crashes on the d

Downloaden mislukt Fout bij ophalen licentie. Communicatieprobleem met licentieserver:E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12 Ik heb een KOBO ereader en een MAC computer maar krijg telkens bij de boeken van de onlinebibliotheek bovenstaande foutmelding . Zij krijgen het noiet opgelost. Iemand nog een oplossing? Andere ebooks komen wel gewoon via ADE op mijn ereader. Ereader is dan volgens mij wel geautoriseerd.  Krijg de autorisatie ook niet verwijderd. 

J’ai un problème pour récupérer mes livres dans le Bibliorom.Celui qui est sans protection j’ai été obligée de le chercher dans l’onglet fichier quant à l’autre qui a une protection ACSM lui arrive bien dans la liste mais il bloque tout Adobe Digital Editions que je suis obligée du coup de fermer via le gestionnaire des taches.De plus le livre n’est pas resté visible dans la liste mais il est considéré comme y étant 

I have been using Digital Editions for a long time and now all of a sudden books aren't showing up in my DE library.  I know I have several in there.  I tried to dl a new book and it checks out of the public library OK but doesn't get fulfilled and show up in my DE library.I am using a Windows 7 laptiop and started trying to figure this out by restarting the laptop.  Didn't help.  Then I uninstalled DE 4.5 and downloaded it again and installed it again ibut still no books.  DE says it is authenticated on this computer and has worked fine for me for the last year or so without problem.What gives?I'd appreciate any and all help with this issue.  This is a program I use every day.

I have a Kobo Glo and I am now getting the following error message "Your eReader is not authorized to open this book. Because you previously deauthorized your eReader, you need to reimport the book using ADE". I have tried reimporting the book, and even returning the book and then reborrowing it before reimporting it to my Kobo. I have tried deauthorizing the reader and then reauthorizing it before reimporting it to my Kobo. Deauthorizing and reauthorizing my Kobo worked a couple of times, but not any longer. I have uninstalled my version of ADE and downloaded and installed the latest version. I have contacted Adobe and they checked my Adobe account and authorizations and was told that I still have unused activations and my authorizations appear to be in order. I can read my books on my MacBook using ADE, and I can even read them using ADE when I click on my Kobo icon in ADE sidebar and open the book. ADE seems to be working as advertised, but my Kobo is not cooperating. I have contact

I have a fixed layout epub I created using Times in the body text and Roboto in the tables. It displays correctly in Digital Editions on a Mac. On the PC, in Windows 11, Roboto in places the word spaces are missing. How can I fix this?Has anyone seen this in Roboto or any other typeface? 

Hello, I’m running Digital Editions on Windows. Digital Editions does not have a native dark mode setting. I read in another thread that high contrast mode in Windows can invert the colors of Digital Editions, so I enabled high contrast mode, but to no avail. Digital Editions is still white as snow, even after I’d tried restarting the app. If you know of a way, please let me know how to make Digital Editions dark. Thanks.Obviously, feedback for Adobe: give us a setting. It’s not complicated.

Hello,I can no longer download books to my e-reader using Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 (a newer version doesn't work, and this is the version recommended by several people... I've also tried newer versions). I'm supposed to click on the book and drag it to my Kobo, but I can't. Yes, my Adobe license is still valid. When I connect my Kobo Libra Color e-reader to my computer, in Adobe, the titles turn pale gray, and I can't click on anything (neither the Kobo tab, nor "File," nor "Help"). This problem occurs every time I switch e-readers or computers. I had already found the solution on Reddit, but I can't find it anymore! It involved copying and pasting an Adobe file into Program Files or deleting it completely; I don't remember exactly.It seems to be Adobe Editions that has a problem, because I can't even close the application with the "X."I've restarted it dozens of times, obviously, and even updated my e-reader today. Can someone please help me? Hi forum, I changed my ebook reader device and have trouble reading my DRM-protected ebooks after transferring them to the new device. It appears the old device was using an automatically generated AdobeID that belongs to a provider that is no longer supported by the new device. My trouble is that this ID is apparently not linked to an email, all I have is a UUID. What I would like to do is recover the AdobeID credentials for the "old" uuid, use those to link the new device to that AdobeID, and start reading my library. Any advice? I am happy to share more details.cheers

I use ade 4.5.12 to load EPUB/ .acsm files, on a PC with Windows 11, updated. In the last few days ADE refuses to accept .acsm files downloaded to my computer. When I try to transfer a file to ADE, the transfer seems to start, but very slowly, and 1-2 minutes later appears an error box with the error code E_STREAM_ERROR. Then ADE stops responding and I have to use Task Manager to close it.I have uninstalled the program from my computer, I have cleared  \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept in the Registry. I have downloaded a new version of the program and re-installed it. I have authorized ADE.Same problem: ADE does not accept .acsm files.Can you help?

I cannot get Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.12 to work on my new PC.I have confirmed that the Adobe Digital Editions version on my new PC (4.5.12) is the same as on my old PC.I successfully signed in to my Adobe ID on Adobe Digital Editions on the new PC.The e-books (in .epub format) were copied from my old PC (file path: C:\Users\[my name]\Documents\My Digital Editions\) to the same path in new PC. Please advise!!

BonjourJ'utilise digital edition sur mon PC et sur mon smartphone. Sur mon PC j'accède facilement au menu pour agrandir la taille de la police, mais même la taille la plus grande reste trop petite pour moi, y autait il un autre moyen d'agrandir encore plus SVP ? En ce qui concerne mon smartphone samsung 24, là le ne vois aucun menu me permettant d'agrandir la taille 😞Merci à l'avance pour vos éclairagesBien cordialementJoel

Bonjourj'ai adobe digital 4.15. J'ai autorisé mon ordi. Je telecharge un livre et tout bog. Je n'ai plus acces au menu et le livre est en gris pale. Donc pas capable de mettre sur ma liseuse. Est-ce le cas pour quelqu'un d'autres?

I have been using Adobe digital editions for years to put and manage e-books on my (kobo) e-reader. This adobe is on my desktop PC and I connect my e-book with a cable.For some time now, it has not been functioning properly. For example, starting up and especially uploading a saved book takes forever (really minutes).What could be the problem?

Some months back I changed my AdobeID from xxx.mac.com to xxx.proton.me and I have been happily using all my Adobe products using the new email address to sign in. However, when I try to use ADE it fails. When I check the info its using the xxx.mac.com address instead of the xxx.proton.me address. The simple solution is to deauthorize the computer and reauthorize it using the xxx.proton.me address. Unfortunately it will not allow me to do that. When I try to deauthorize it fails claiming its unable to do so and to try again later. This has been going on for several months! My guess is that its failing because it can't find the xxx.mac.com AdobeID. I have tried the other way of using Regex but there is no Adept folder to be deleted nor does it seem to exist in the normal file structures.

Hello,I receive the error E_ADEPT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS when trying to authorize Adobe Digital Editions on my computer / e-reader.I have only used one computer and one e-reader. Even so, the system indicates that I have exceeded the activation limit.Could someone please tell me how to reset the activation counter for my Adobe ID? I have tried to contact technical support without success, and the virtual assistant does not provide any solution.Thank you very much for your help.Kind regards.

Hi, when I lend books from my public libary, I have to download the .ascm from https://ebook.yourcloudlibrary.com/Next I convert the .acsm file to epub with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 and then transfer that file to my Kobo Clara BW.The problem is that some of these books are not readable in Dark Mode, but they are readable in White Mode.See attached screenshots.I don't know what is the cause?
