Please help!When I drag and drop background into the scene it keeps loading and loading and nothing happens. In addiction, my defauld background is transparent and when I drag objects to my scene they are not showing. Few days before all was working correct. What happend? I downloaded new driver for my NVidia Geforce GTX 1050 day before my Dimension started working wrong. Could it cause the problem?After installation the program told me that "Your system does not meet all of the minimum system requirements" but there was not any problems with using it.Sorry for my english and thank you for your answers

Hello,I'm working on bringing in non-proportional artwork into Dimension after setting up UV's in Modo.When I work with the UV/1:1 format I have no problem, but when I bring in artwork that is not 1:1, it's not placed correctly.Can someone direct me to setting up UV's for my OBJ files so that I can bring in non-square art? Is there a formula? the gray borders don't seem to be consistent from art that is taller than wide, vs art that is wider than tall.Many thanks in advance.Jarrod

I need to add graphics to our range of products that are simple coffee cup shaped cylinder. The top is 100mm diameter and the base is 70mm. Is there a way of altering the standard model or would I have to create it in another application and import it?

Hi there, after trying with the Adobe Support staff (without any solution), now I try with the Community. I have to create a full cover Decal for a bucket model. But I have this problem: If I try to scale the Decal in order to cover all the object surface, the decal stops covering the entire area and begins to alter the graphics.Any solution for me?it seems to me to be a bug even if every time I looked for assistance from adobe they always told me to follow some video tutorials that do not indicate in any way how to solve this problem.I am very disappointed with Adobe support.

I am working with a model that I imported from Solidworks -- I had to export it as an IGES and then used CAD Exchanger to convert it to an OBJ file and then imported it into Dimension CC.When going through and tagging surfaces with materials, I now have a very long list of repeated ones. For example, I used Black Plastic 38 times, Black Matte 99 times, and so on.Is there some method for merging all of the, for example, Black Matte selections so I only have one entry? (Same question for all the Black Plastic selections.)Thanks for any help you can provide on this.

I created a 3D model of a microphone, and I'm trying to apply a decal of grill detail to a bunch of separate surfaces. But the surfaces are acting a little bipolar. On one hand I can apply different materials to each area. But when I try to use a decal it treats them all as a single surface.I started out with a small strip of grill artwork and tried adding it to each section. Then I made one big graphic to try and paste it into all of them together. Either way, it only shows the decal in one of the linked sections.

Has anyone discovered a free 3D water material to download that I could use or have any settings they use on a default  material like glass. I would try and play around with the settings myself but my computer doesn’t run well enough to render every time I change a settings slightly to see the different.

Is there a way to set up a local server for our meshes to pull from the sidebar rather than the cloud?2. Is there a way to stack art files for switching without reimporting (multi flavors)3. We would like to show 4 sides of a design and without animation, can we have 4 meshes with a single material for updating?A nice to have for future builds:4. Why / how, when importing a multi-part obj file created with Strata 3D 8.0 the file imports as one unit and cannot be separated or moved as individual element. Why is this? How can I create a multipart obj file?

I have this same problem. Whenever I add my PNG that I want rendered on the glass shape, it only appears undistorted whenever it is small and away from the edges(see top attached image). BUT, whenever it is enlarged or touching the edges it becomes distorted, warped or scrambled(see bottom attached imaged). Which makes this difficult or impossible for my situation because I need to be 1/8" away from the edge of the glass cutout. Is there any fix for this?.

I have been trying to figure this out. I built this vector in AI, made it pixel perfect, made sure all my lines were clean, sent it to PS, did a 3D render, again made sure all of my surfaces were clean, saved as an OBJ and imported to Dimensions an what I get is very different from what I built in Photoshop. Please help.

Hello,(Sorry if this was asked before, I am new to these forums and I could not find the answer I was looking for.)I have a design going into a complex room and I was asked to render the space in 3D to show off the final look. I have the design built in InDesign, with Photoshop and Illustrator elements.What's more the designs on the wall will change over time, so I would need to be able to update the walls with the new designs for future projects.I downloaded Adobe Dimension but quickly learned that putting in exact measurements is not possible (but I could be wrong). I am familiar with illustrator but I am not sure how I would change the camera direction ("This is what the space looks like to the North West. And here it is to the South East." Etc.).Ideally I would like to be able to map out a space using exact measurements. Click on the wall or the ceiling and quickly update the graphic, from say a saved pdf or jpeg.
