Download & Install

Like billions other across the years, I have a question:How on earth you change the installation path of the creative cloud and the consequent apps, eg photoshop?but most of all, why... why with the whole population used in these days to receive an installation prompt: "hey where do you wanna install our software?" adobe designers has decided to remove such prompt and instal the creative cloud and photoshop straight to C without asking the end user?In posts like this one:https://community.adobe.com/t5/download-install-discussions/change-path-of-installation/m-p/11113862or video like this one:https://youtu.be/uqBP2EvcLsU?si=eSrl3uy6rbDbjEUe&t=231 are saying that you can change the path in the creative cloud app (why???) but apparently the UI is changed and when I go to "apps" not I guess "all apps" I do not have the nice clean design I see at the linked page or in the utube video, I just see plans and app to try.thanks

The Mac install for Adobe Acrobat 9 in the adobe downloads says its unavailable. I purchased the license for it. Where do I download that software?

I currently can use the apps as I am still signed in however the app launcher doesn't reach the Adobe servers, I already reinstalled the app but it didn't ask me to sign in again. The issue is still the same. running Windows 11 with the last update

Hallo an Alle,ich werde demnächst eine Umschulung (mit Ausbildungsabschluss) zum Mediengestalter machen und wollte fragen, ob dafür auch das vergünstigte Schüler/Studenten Abo für mich zu Hause  gilt. Ich habe die Infos dazu bereits gelesen, dort steht es gilt für Schüler von "Berufbildenden Schulen". Nun ist meine Schule ein Berufsförderungswerk...Außerdem würde ich gern schon bevor ich dort anfange die Testwoche für die Creative Cloud nutzen, geht das überhaupt, solange ich noch nicht Azubi/Umschüler bin? Vielleicht könnt ihr mir helfen.  

I would like to start the Ps & Lr subscription service.  I have for many years used Ps Elements (currently 2021) and Lightroom 6.14.  My many files are linked and accessable to both programs.  I have several questions on the change as I don't want to get a headache from the transition with file or plug-in problems. Is the download and set-up of PS & Lr be simple and seamless even with Ps Elements and Lr 6.14 already loaded on my PC?  Please keep in mind, I'm an amateur photographer as well as a senior citizen 😉Will all the files be automatically (or with instructions)  picked up by the "new" Ps & Lr in the same order in all the same folders?Will Nik and Topaz plugins automatically (or with instructions) come into Ps & Lr?Will I lose access to Ps Element and Lightroom 6.14 while I learn the new programs? My thanks and appreciation to anyone who wants to tackle these questions! 

I do not see Photoshop CC 2018 available for download while logged into Creative Cloud. Why is this? I have clicked on "check for app updates" but that doesn't seem to work. Also, I've noticed a couple of apps, which I don't need, labeled as "not compatible" which I understand.. but I don't even see the "not compatible" option for Photoshop CC 2018. The Photoshop CC 2018 app is simply not there at all.Please advise. Thanks.

I've found that Core Sync is connecting to aws.adobess.com at least once a minute 24 hours a day. This seems excessive, especially since I have file sync turned off. Can anyone explain what this traffic is and why it needs to connect so often?Thanks,

I purchased LR 5 and have been running on old Mac computer.  I now have a new Mac and want to install LR 5 on the new.  I'm happy with LR 5 and do not want to go the route of paying for a subscription.

I sold an old version of Photoshop Elements 14 that I haven't used in many years, I'm currenty using v20If the new owner creates their own Adobe ID account shouldn't they be able to install and activate since it is no longer activated on my account? I noticed that it still appears in my Adobe 'Registered Products' list. 

Does any one know why I would have to uninstall and reinstall Indesign (only) on a daily basis? This has only just started to happen in the last week. I am running an iMac with Ventura 13 operating system. Once reinstalled Indesign performs as normal.

Many years ago I bought Adobe Design Premium CS6 (and CS2, CS5 etc before that). I duly registered it and used it for many years. I then moved onto Creative Cloud for a number of years. However I am not a professional, and the annual cost of the whole suite is too much to justify, so I now subscribe to Photoshop/Lightroom. I have tried reinstalling some CS6 programs which I use - mainly InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver - using the original disc, including serial number. However when I try to open them I am only invited to sign up to Creative Cloud. When I went over to Creative Cloud from CS6 I was reassured that I could go back to CS6 if I chose to, but this does not seem to be the case any more. I cannot even find a record of my CS6 registration on My Account. Is there a way in which I can go back to using a product I have paid for and registered? Or was Abobe's promise that I could revert not really binding?

Hello, I cant see my order from my abode account, i want to end my order and see if i can have two programs for more reasonable price, the program is in my computer and the mony is transfering from my bank acount . I need other program for my school works. Right now i have illustrator and i need photoshop as well.

I have followed the procedure and tried to repair/uninstall/download again the app and it didn't solve the problem.Any other brilliant idea?I would like to continue to use this imac. 

I spent the morning tracking down this issue as I was trying to install my purchased version of CS6 on my new Windows 11 Laptop. All the support responses for Exit 6/7 missing hook - talked about permissions or corrupt loaders etc. None of these was the problem - you simply have to install the C libraries going all the way back to 2010. Anything newer than that is in sufficient and will continue to generate missing hook file.Simply download and install these back to 2010:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#visual-studio-2013-vc-120 Original Error log Cannot load function name 'CSInstallerCustomHookProc' from library C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\uninstall\{ }.data. Originally I had purchased a LR5 version. Then updated to 6.14 and used it for years. Now upgraded my computer to Win 10. Got the Lightroom 6 LS11.exe and try to install.Get the message my serial number was blocked. Thanks a lot for your supportJaro 

After purchasing the annual plan from Amazon, they send you an email with an activation link. The link takes you to a page where you either link your existing adobe id OR can click a link to create a new adobe account. when i enter my adobe id, the link button on Amazon remains gray/ unclickable. when I click on create new account the redemption URL is unreachable on Adobes side. How do I reach support? There's no chat or email option except for posting to this forum.

In preparation for my new role, I've downloaded Adobe Creative Cloud onto my laptop. However, I've encountered an issue that's proving to be quite a roadblock. An error message pops up, stating: "Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missingor damaged. I'm installing PSE 7 on a new laptop and it is not accepting the Serial Number and only allows me to use the free 30 day trial version.  On the forums it says to open a chat session so I did that and Tameer told me I needed to ask this on the forums.  He also said it wasn't supported but then why would Adobe have it available for download.In addition to this, the menu is zoomed out so far that it is almost unusable; but I'll investigate/escalate that later.
