On the last update of Photoshop there was a virus attached to the update. This update is automatic. How did a virus get attached?

HiI have been trying to update my Creative Cloud app on my mac for weeks now with no luck. I keep getting an Error message: "Creative Cloud desktop failed to update (Error code: 1001)" This message appears each time after only 5% loaded of the update.I cannot find any solution to this on Adobe site or any website. Owing to an unusual hardware setup in my company it would considerably simplify things if we could run Creative Cloud on a Windows Server machine (it's to do with TCP/IP share limits). We are well aware that Windows Server is not officially supported, but would it work anyway? Windows 2008 R2 is the same code base as Windows 7, Server 2012 the same as Windows 8 and Server 2012 R2 the same as Windows 8.1, so can we do it? Or will the Creative Cloud simply refuse to install on any of those platforms?

The Photoshop installation failed numerous times on a brand new Macbook Pro with Ventura 13.2.1. Error code 183.  All other apps installed fine, but Photoshop gets to about 90% and fails.

 I can't update some of adobe products. How to solve this problem?

I downloaded the install files for Adobe Master Collection CS6 which I have a license for.I downloaded both the "MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.7z" file and the "MasterCollection_CS6_LS4.exe" file.I placed both in the smae folder. I tried launching the EXE file and also tried opening . 7z file using the exe file, but I receive this error: "The file archive part of Adobe CS6 Collection is missing. You need all parts in the same folder in order to extract Adobe CS6 Master Collection. Please download all part." How to I do the installation. Windows 11

For a while now my app updates fail with err 119, which seems to be a server connection error.  I spent a few hours on chat with support and all it got me was all my apps uninstalled and unable to re-install.  I finally got the CC app re-installed and then updated itself, but no change to installing or updated any other apps.I have removed all apps and attempted to re-install.I have turned off all firewall and security functions.I have confirmed communication with the servers.I was told my case was escalating, but have had no response since then.I did download the direct installers but that only gets me back to several versions out of date.My internet is Frontier DSL, which is mostly pretty robust if not real fast.  Other large downloads consistently work fine.This is dumb.  How can adobe not make this CC app more robust, or at least provide separate up to date installers for when it fails?In addition, each time it fails you have to do the whole download again from

In the CC app it says "Not compatible" next to the newest version of InDesign. In the pop up window it says I have to update to Windows 10 for it to work, but it is updated (Windows 10.0.19041). Further down it lists some versions of Windows 10 that is not compatible with InDesign 18, but I have none of them. What could be the problem here?

Has worked reliably for a long time now I just added a new project and the Behance site will not update itself with the new project so consequently my web site does not update.Any ideas on what the problem is?As usual, Adobe does not have info on it to help me.David

Hi, I have just purchased a new iMac and it will not install photoshop. I have tried literally everything and searching the web for ideas on how to get around the issue. Is it my Mac or the actual software? I am about to take my Mac back to the store as I am getting so frustrated.

I've seen quite a few posts here about this specific problem but no clear answer about how to correct it. The post at Device Activation Limit shows the details of the problem nicely. I have javascript enabled in the settings, but the installer keeps saying that I don't. I tried uninstalling all the adblocks I use but it didn't help. 

So a little while ago, maybe 1 week or so, I installed illustrator. I was trying to use it for fashion but I came to the conclusion that it was not the right application. I soon requested a refund less than 16 hours later. I have then every day waited to see the full refund come back but nothing was hitting my account. Adobe, please help. Thank you! I downloaded the creative cloud app , all apps are available except for after effects, I downloaded and installed Illustrator successfully via the CC app but can't find After Effects in it !
