Download & Install

Over the past year, I've gotten alerts from Creative Cloud that I have new updates. For example, this morning, I was alerted that an updated to Photoshop was available. It told me I could updated to 23.3.1. I've already got 23.3.1... I confirmed it.  Is this a bug or something whacked on my system? This has happened to me many times with other versions. I don't know if something is getting removed from the system which is used as as indicator for which version is installed. Is the CC app looking at log files to confirm what is installed? Because I do clear out things with CCleaner every once in a while, and log files are likely candidates for removals.

I was just in a chat with a very helpful tech and he said that I needed to come back when I had time to "clean install" my CC app.  Bear in mind that right now the computer should have zero Adobe products on it--I uninstalled everything.  It freezes when I launch the installer. What does it mean to "clean instal"?  It looks like Adobe Cleaner is for Apps you have.  I have a problem installing. Thanks. Kenneth

Hi, a few months ago I was using my computer and I watched that Photoshop had and update so I click there and the app send me the "NOT COMPATIBLE" message. Then every Adobe app started ask for update to be use. It says: "UPDATE REQUIRED. you must update your systemto install Photoshop Express. Please check the following: -Windows 10 - build 10.0.14393". I don't understand what does it means. Can anyone help me, please?I'm a student and I can't effort to pay for the new Microsoft update right now and I really need the apps for my homeworks.It happens with almost all the apps.

Hi,I am facing a strange problem with Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. I have Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro installed on my computer. However, Adobe Creative Cloud apps tells that these three apps are not installed yet, and they display under the "Available in your plan" section, not under the "Installed" section. This started happening just today. Earlier, the Adobe CC app was working fine.When I search for any of the three Adobe apps and open it, then it opens just fine, which means that the app is installed and working. But it does not display in the Adobe Creative Cloud "Installed" apps section.I have 11 Adobe apps installed in total. Out of them, 8 apps shows fine under the "Installed" section. But the three apps that I mentioned above, they are not showing under the "Installed" section.Can you please help me fix this issue?Thanks a lot.

So why isn't PS updating? I mean this is ridiculous, the update from creative cloud won't update PS, error code 306, download new CC installer, which also shows the same issue, error code 306 and PS won't update at all. All I get is upgrade for this or that, and NO support at all to reference how to fix this stupid error. Outrageous that Adobe takes the subscription dollars so effectively, but won't sort out their services to customers as easily. What a rip off.

New M1 Macbook Air.  Safari will not let me connect to site to buy and dowmload Adobe Acrobat. ( Also Safari and Google will not let me go to URL to download Duckduckgo Beta for Mac).  I can browse other websites. Any ideas?  Thanks.

Replaced windows 7 with Windows 10, and tne shop put it all on a Hynix 1TB SSD. Left my Samsung850 pro 128GB ssd and Samsung 850 EVO 259 GB inside the case, but unplugged. Not sure how to set them up before re-installing photoshop/lightroom program, but sure I could put them to good use. Thanks for any advice.  

Hi,I was on adobe creative cloud and when I tried to install the adobe apps I need it keeps saying "Unable to install this product.  Click retry to download and install it again.  (Error code: 306) Trying to install the apps that are included in my plan is not my only problem.  When I launched the adobe creative cloud desktop app it says "Creative cloud update failed" sorry we couldn't update this app.  It even has the same error code 306.  I really need help in fixing this error because I really need my apps for content. See attached photo on creative cloud failed to update and also trying to install one of my apps such as Photoshop for example.

Another part of the error; windows could not find the installer in program files. It's still there, but under a slightly different name? Been using CC for years on the same computer and haven't had this issue before.So far I've tried running as admin and making sure my drivers are up to date. Do I just need to do a clean reinstall of CC?

I buy and resell on Ebay.  I came across two brand new Adobe CS6 Windows Software.  Sealed, never opened!  I didn't think much about it and listed them for sale.  I started the auction off at $99 and it was getting a lot of attention!  An interested buyer messaged me about transferring the license to them.  I started to do some research and realized this might not be something easy to sell.  I am assuming they were never registered since the serial numbers are secured in the sealed package.  I ended the auction early in fear that someone might scam me or not be able to use the software properly.  I spoke to Adobe about registering the product and then transferring to someone else.  This was their response:"No you will not be able to transfer the perpetual product. Only if you use your current account then it can be activated on 2 PC and be worked on 1 at a time."I'm so confused!  Can someone tell me the best way to proceed?  A

Every time I use Photoshop, Creative Cloud has to reinstall. I have lost hours of work if I haven't remembered to constantly save. This can't be right. Please, is there a solution to this?

My problem: Adobe is billing me for an incorrect subscription. The chat is useless, so that's why I'm trying to get through the forum. Can someone help me? I am a university student. Through my university I bought an Adobe license for 130 euros per year. This is a special Education ICT store called Surfspot. It went well in my first year. I bought the Adobe product through Surfspot, paid them, and then they linked a license to my email address. After this I could use the Adobe package without any problems. This license must be renewed each year. I did this again for the second year. Unfortunately, things have not gone well since then. Adobe at one point asked to enter payment information. I did that as a precaution. Since then, Adobe has been deducting costs for a normal subscription, while I have a license from my university (which I have already paid for). So I currently pay twice, for the license and a normal subscription per month... I have contacted Adobe about this

Buenos díasTengo instalado Creative Cloud en dos Mac.En uno tengo Big Sur y no tengo problemas.Pero en otro tengo High Sierra y hasta hace un mes no tenía problemas aunque con versiones de photoshop antiguas. Pero ahora después de reinstalar el sistema operativo High Sierra no me ofrece las versiones de photoshop de 2020 y no me deja instalar las nuevas porque el sistema operativo es antiguo.Como ouedo instalar de nuevo photoshop 2020?Y además me pone un camara raw antiguoGracias

So... I bought Photoshop CS6 Extended back in 2012, and now that I need to reinstall it on my new hardware, it somehow does not recognize my serial key I received via mail. I downloaded CS6, installed the trial version but wont be able to use it after the 30 days... I have not shared my key with any1, no idea how it s not valid anymore.So if there s an adobe support that could look at this, that d help a lot (did not get any support in the chat either, except for the bot).I can also send the original mail from 2012 I received, with the keys and confirmation of my order if necessary. Best Regards,Daniel

I paid for creative cloud under my student account the day after my trial ended. It isn't showing up under my plans, even though I got a confirmation email and they took money out of my account. I can't contact adobe because it says to reach out to my "admin" or "IT" but I don't know who that would be since I registered with UCF. I can't even cancel the subscription because my plan isn't showing up, and all adobe apps are disabled because my trial ended. PLEASE HELP I need to fulfil my clients orders.

Ok come on, chromebook is basically Linux. It uses the Linux kernel even, meaning your software could very easily be ported, in fact I have gotten windows photoshop and illistrator to install in various distros just fine but am not going to pay you for your product you refuse to port to my OS so I still use gimp, inkscape and krita. Its just stupid to continue to wag your willy in the face of the Linux community still when even Microsoft themselves are essentially gutting their OS and replacing its dysfunctional internals with Linux to retain market share. Spare me the whole it doesn't work on Linux, it does and its easy to package even for your spoiled development team, webpack makes that simple as all hell and surprise it doesn't even take more than a few minutes to do, so an intern could easily do it. It's good to see Photoshop and Lightroom are now upgraded to native Apple Silicon. When I check in Activity Monitor, I still see AdobePCBroker and com.adove.acc.installer.v2 are still under the Intel instructions (supposedly translated via Rosetta 2). May I know what are these 2 components and whether they will be upgraded to native Apple Silicon instructions?  *Not sure which section exactly to post this to. Pls feel free to move this thread if needed.
