Why am I not allowed to use Photoshop Elements 7 software I purchased.   It says I am required to have a subscription.  How can Adobe force users of past purchases to have a subscription?Bill Feil

I had CS6 on another machine (it must have been a second) but I wiped the machine and sold it. I went to install on my current machine and it is telling me that I cannot install on more than one machine. The support agent said I had to deactivate it. They said they cannot do anything, althought I know they have done this in the past. Infact I think you could self deactivate from web portal. this is such a basic common feature that you get with laods off companies. Sky, Netflix etc all allow users to activate and deactivate on variuos devices.  Why has Adobe removed this feature. I only use the software very rarely to do bulk image processing and it is great. (a feature not available on the elements version) we can not justify paying a monthly fee for something we use so infrequent. So i will be gutted is Adobe is stealing the rights to use the software.  It still works peferectly well, they are just taking access away from something I have bought.&nbs

Every day I open my CC desktop (or one of the CC apps) I'm presented with a login window/error box stating too many device activations. However I'm only using one system, there is no dual boot, and I'm not regularly accessing CC on the web or from apps on iOS (if that matters). It's as if the CC Desktop or some sort of validation step is unable to determine that it is being run on the same computer every time, despite no hardware changes to the system in months. The "too many activations" dialog box even lists my desktop as appearing in both existing activation slots. Something causes it to interpret every login from this computer as a unique system/activation? Does anyone know if there are logs that can be pulled for someone (Adobe support?) to help diagnose or fix this? Maybe some other sort of hardware issue that could be triggering this (just a guess, since adobe seems to treat every login as a unique computer)? The suggestions I've come across in other posts here haven't help

I get a message that says "You need to deactivate another computer within 30 days to use this product"BUT when I login to my online account, there are no computers activated.Is there some way to get the Adobe support team to reset it, because I know for sure I am not using this serial number on any other computer. Any other computer has been fully reset. Can anyone help me out here?    

So, after a frustrating 40 minutes on the Adobe chat, where I explained this scenario below and was pushed into a sales call, two salespeople tried to encourage a solution of a subscription model. They then said they did not know very much about the perpetual licenses and gave some generic advice prefaced with, “From what I know…”  So..... I'm trying to install Photoshop Elements 2022 to a new computer running Win 11 with more than adequate RAM, processing power and storage. During installation the message pops up: Sorry, installation failed.  We are unable to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 this time. (Error Code: 183)  When I click on Get Help link, it took me to the Adobe website and gave me this "solution":Error code 183 indicates an installation or update failure.SolutionSelect Retry to install or update the app again. If this doesn't fix the issue, follow the instructions in "Fix error 183 when installing Creative Cloud apps." The problem is there is no "Retry" to select. So I clicked on the Fix error link. The only solution offered that appeared related to my particular problem was to delete a folder in the C:\ drive and reinstall the program. I tried that and got the same result. Bonjour, pour résumer mon problème :Mon entreprise a fait l'acquisition il y a longtemps de licences adobe CS4. Les logiciels sont toujours présents sur mon ordinateur et fonctionnent bien, sauf Adobe ACrobat qui a récemment disparu, visiblement mis à jour pour une autre version.Hors cette version plus récente n'est qu'une version gratuite sans licence, je ne peux pas l'utiliser pour les tâches que j'utilise habituellement (édition de texte, réduction de taille du fichier, reconnaissance de texte notamment).J'ai je crois toujours le numéro de licence du logiciel, serait-il possible de faire réinstaller l'ancienne version que je possédais ?Bonne journée

I have the same problem too,  i got a new laptop and transferred everything expect my cloud cc. I found this website and all the information here are helpful. im just confused on where to start.  Does it require my old Mac to fix the problem because i removed all my data from my old Mac,  and im worried if My cloud cc wont work anymore. I need this fixed before school starts.

I have an adobe subscription for Premiere Pro.  I have seen lots of talk about 2025 and some cool new features.  I understand it came out in October.When I check for updates PR says it is up to date and I am on 2024 24.6.4 (build 3).I don't understand why I do not seem to have it available to me.When will I be able to get 2025?

Why is Adobe Creative Cloud not being deleted? I downloaded it and it didn't work. I wanted to delete it, but it won't delete. I demand an immediate explanation.

I am on a late 2011 iMac, running the latest version of Yosemite. I just got a Cintiq 27qhd and I am trying to setup the application specific shortcuts in system preferences. After thinking it was a Wacom driver issue (which seems to be the case most of them time) it surprisingly doesn't seem to be that way. I have set up various other non-adobe application specific shortcuts and they work flawlessly. Its only with the Adobe CC 2015 apps. Custom shortcuts work fine in the CC apps if I set them up to work in all applications, but as you can guess, that is not ideal. I have tried custom shortcuts for the pen, express remote, and the radial menu.At this point I don't think its a Wacom driver issue, but I could be wrong. If anyone knows a solutions please let me know.

hello, i have a paid adobe membership through school.  when attempting to install apps on a computer it tells me i have to be sent a link. the only problem with this is that when i click the "send me a link button" it only opens a google browser (i dont use google, do i need to use google?) and doesnt even open gmail. i have tried with open and signed in gmail accs in the google browser and it still wont send any link or give an explanation. I know the app i am trying to install works on this device and meets all requirments. this isnt a one day thing, i tried a couple months ago and the same thing happened. 

I used the free trial of Adobe photoshop. I purchased it thereafter, but I can't get the desktop version to open. I installed the Creative Cloud on my laptop, and it wants me to purchase Photoshop again. I don't understand the need to buy it again when I already bought it. So, I live in Japan and use the Student and Teacher Edition of Creative Cloud. I used it for one year with no problems. I have bought a new one year plan, but cannot access the redemption code. I get the: 'This card was purchased in a country that does not match your Adobe ID.' error message. However, I am using the same ID as last year (it is a .co.uk mail address, though I seem to be registered in the US). Anyway, I changed the Adobe ID email to a Japanese address, but still no joy. How can I get these two to match? I guess, how can I change the country I'm registered with? I have only ever had Creative Cloud in Japan, so not sure what is going on here. I use Photoshop and Lightroom in English. Have tried the Adobe support chat a couple of times, but it was pretty well a waste of time.Thanks!
