Download & Install

Problem 1 - I paid, then downloaded Creative Cloud. My browser (Brave, a chromium browser), asked if I wanted to download it as it seemed suspectus. I allowed it. Problem 2 - CC went through the installation. asked for login details then stopped.  The CC icon then removed itself from the taskbar. I went through all of the Adobe folders (Program Files and (x86)) to set them to Run as Admin.  That didn't work either. I looked at Windows Defender and noticed it had 2 entries for Trojan. No details at all on the offending software.  I updated definitions, thinking that would help but it didn't. I added both Adobe folders to the exception. I've also uninstalled CC a few times, ran CCleaner, and reinstalled it, however, now it doesn't get to the point of asking for login details. The install wants to show the CC app, the icon sits on the task tray (near the clock), the browser flickers a few times then the CC icon disappears. After all that, I have an Adobe

Adobe users, I need some help:But before I rant and complain about Adobe, I'll say this.  I am a Mac guy. I used Apple software for creative works from 1988 to 2006. After much research, some testing and arguing with the team, and sleepless nights, I gambled and took a big risk on Adobe Production Premium. After a steep learning curve, and daily complaints from most of the team, it turned out better than I could have ever hoped. I have used Adobe products everyday since 2006 for video editing, grading... audio recoding, mixing, mastering, photography, website design, graphic design, 3D modeling and animation, PDF creation... Since 2006 I have owned and used every piece of Adobe software for my creative and production needs and loved it - wouldn't use anything else. There is no creative design and production software that even comes close to Adobe. It is the best there is and I want to keep using it, but this cloud BS is making me feel a little disregarded as a loyal customer of 15

Hey guys, I uninstalled Creative Cloud using the uninstaller from adobe.com and after uninstalling it I keep getting this window saying there was a Visual C++ Assertion error, where the assertion is vulcan_ I researched and found ou it is because of the Creative Cloud uninstall, the problem is that I have tried what I have found (from re-installing Visal C++ redist to running sfc /scannow with dism), but I keep getting it, any idea how to get rid of this? and why did Creative Cloud messed up this? Thank you.

This is despite the fact that the serial is copied from the Adobe order history. Moreover, when I click on the "Contact Us Real help from real people." in order to resolve this Adobe problem, the only thing I get is the same useless pages (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html) which only suggest that I download and register the software, which I've already have. Having me running in cicrles has been very frustrating to say the least.

On 04.03.21 I have downloaded Adobe Illustrator  and installed the trial version with annual monthly scheme. But unfortunately my Laptop has got some problems and requires formatting. After restoration of the windows at my laptop how do I get the installation file again. 

Hi there,I tried to click on adobe fuse app 10-15 times, but it still can't open it and there is not any windows was opened. I have re-install, re-open my computer, i have tried any methods but still doesn't work. How to solve this issues.Thanks.

I just installed Adobe Fuse CC ( Beta) and after the installation is complete then the fuse application opened automatically and then I closed it and after some time I tried to open it but it's not launching.I tried to open Adobe Fuse CC ( Beta) from both my desktop and also from the creative cloud application but it's not opening. No error and no window is propting to open, actually nothing is happening on my screen.its not opening at all

Is it possible to install Creative suite 6 on new mac os big Sur. when I inset my instal cd I get warning the installer need updating, however I can not find it anywhere

My harddisk ( SSD M2) was full, so I replaced it for a bigger one, using Samsung data transfer. All programm work except all Adobe stuff. If should be installed new, but that means that all my work in LightRoom ( the database) is lost...I know it will be a software trick to protect illegal copying, but this is redicoulus. Any change to safe it?

I called Adobe to have my address changed from the USA to the UK. The agent said this would have to be done by canceling the USA account and opening a new account in the UK. He had me create a new email address for the new account. Now I have a new paid account in the UK but my assets are trapped in the old USA account, which is now a free account.  The new UK account cannot see any of these assets. After chat sessions with multiple agents, it appears that no one knows how to sync files in my old iCloud drive to iCloud drive in my new account. Regarding Lightroom,  I was pointed to an app called lightroom-downloader and told to download all my photos from the old account and re-upload them to the new account. With 225 GB of photos, I think this would take quite a while, so I have not tried it. I am posting this to complain about the terrible customer service and to warn other users that it is dangerous to ask for a change of address to another country. I downloaded creative cloud and after installation it's automatically updating creative cloud but it shows error 146.It says to rename file in directory.So, which file we have to rename. 

I am trying to contact Adobe customer support but it would appear that you have to have an account to do that, I would like to purchase an Adobe Photoshop App but cannot do it as I inadvertantly deleted my account. I'm going round in circles trying to find how I can open either my old account or open a new one, but it recognises my email address and says I have an account already and to sign in, when I do that it wont let me as the account is deleted. I could always open an account under a different email and name but would prefer not to do that.

I have no idea if Adobe staff read these posts or not. If they do, Adobe needs to update the page http://www.adobe.com/devnet/bridge/. A google search for "Script Bridge" takes you to that page. Also, I found and downloaded the Adobe Bridge SDK at https://www.adobe.io/bridge/, and right at the beginning of the readme it says "The Bridge 2021 SDK can be downloaded from the following URL: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/bridge/ "  However that page has only broken links that refer to the CS5 and CS5 versions of Bridge.

I'm sorry but Adobe is performing teh most egregious of hostile takeovers with CC.I still use CS6.  I have no need for the latest and greatest.Yet when I go to the tried and true App Managewr the dang thing updated itself to CC WITHOUT my permission to do so!  Absolutely inexcuseable behavior and Adobe sure as hell knows that,Now I uninstall CC and regular as clockwork it re-installs CC desktop whether I want it to or not - even AFTER turning off auto-updates.There simply is no excuse to browbeat customers into accepting this intrusive app if we don't want or need it.  I get tired of it telling me there are "updates" when in fact it wants to replace my current apps with a CC trial.Absolute BS!So what I'm asking is how do I now get rid of this app I do not want?  I insist..

Can I still install CS5.5 in 2021?  I own the discs and have my serial number so can I still install it on a second PC with errors?Thanks!

Hey! Was looking for some help with my question. I had a question about The MacBook Pro. I’m gonna be a college freshmen and am going into a career field where I will be doing graphic design, photography editing and some video editing. So all 3 here😂I have one Mac picked out that I think would work, I just don’t know if it’s powerful enough? My plan was to get the MacBook Pro 13”, 1.4 GHZ i5, 16 GB of ram, 256 GB storage (planning to get an external hard drive if it gets full, don’t wanna spend too much). My question overall is: with what I’m gonna be doing with graphic design , photo editing and video editing..will that be enough?I’ve had tons of mixed opinions saying to get the i7 processor because it’s better and will last longer and to spend the extra money, but then some are saying to go with the i5 because it’ll do just as good for me. Like if I went with the i5, should my laptop still run good for those tasks and programs? Or should I consider just paying the extra for t

I own CS5.5 on discs so is it possible to install it on any version of Windows 10?I've heard that some people have installed it successfully while others can't seem to install it, so any tips to install it without issues?I'll be buying a new laptop soon and will make sure I do all updates before attempting to install CS5.Thanks to anyone who has installed it and can help me.  

Not sure whats going on...i tried deleting all adobe cloud and products and redownloading.Anyone experiencing this?

Anyone else having this issue? After Effects 17.7 just won't install. I'm running Windows 10 64-bit. The installer gets to 83% and just hangs there. I tried installing it a month or so ago, and today as well - no luck. Then when I cancel the install, it turns out that AE is now broken and won't launch, so I need to uninstall and re-install it. My current version of AE (17.6) has so many bugs - the main one being that it frequently won't RAM preview and I need to restart it. Please Adobe, stop tweaking the UI and adding bells and whistles, and just MADE AE WORK AGAIN. I've been using it for nearly 20 years and it's never been this broken before.

For a few days I've been fighting to remove CC since my CC had to be replaced. I Deactivated the Stuff before uninstall. Hunted through thousands of discs to reloaded old programs like CS5.5 and time machine hunted for CC 2017 apps,  so I could go into those to do properly. Even hunted down rogue files in Activty Monitor, and then realized I was reading a 2 year old thread, and it's still the same steps listed today, but if I can't get the CC to uninstall, do I hunt in Activity Monitor for CC and Adobe things still popping up? I don't want to do this again so should I hunt Adobe and try getting CC to uninstall from my Mac or just cleaning tool it?  I included the old page I was reading...

All of the thumbnail images for all of my libaries' shared assets are missing. The assets still appear to be there, but none of my collaborators can see or access anything. Seems to have started with the most recent update. See screenshot below.What's going on? Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi, We're developers for InDesign and we have an extension running at our customers. They use CC2019 and CC2015 and there's a problem with CC2015 now. I like to support our customer and I need an installer for InDesign CC 2015. Support Chat told me that this is not longer available and I should ask here. Klaus
