I have a list of recipients with email links. Can a check box be used to select specific names and have those addresses populate in the To: field on a blank email?

I know for sure that in previous versions of Dreamweaver, the scroll bar on the code section, when using split view, was easy to maneuver.  Now it's tiny and the slightest movement takes you very, very far away from the line you want to scroll up or down from.  This affects workflow and productivity.  I don't understand why certain conveniences long-time users have loved are suddenly no longer there.

This was a feature forever in previous versions.  In split view, select text in code view and it becomes selected in design view.  With CC version, this only works on occasion.  This is a pretty crucial feature when editing large files on a regular basis, and it's a major reason I use Dreamweaver as opposed to other software.  Other than rebooting the program or repeatedly going back and forth between design & code view, it is hit or miss and lags with a lot of other tasks as well. I'm using Windows 10 and really miss the download versions of this software.

The .com I was going for is taken, but the .me is available (and thankfully works w/ the theme of the site).My host is offering the .me for $3 first year, then a whopping $33 for subsequent years. (Comparatively, .com is $16 for annual renewals.)This made me want to find more info about .me -- basic questions like who runs it, and why is it so expensive? What country is it from? Is there a Wiki for this kind of stuff?Also, is there any danger that one of these fancier TLD's will just up and disappear overnight? How about jacking the price to something absurd, forcing a rebrand? Are there any mechanisms in place to prevent that?I guess the real question is, are TLD's like franchises; subject to a common code of conduct (so to speak) -- or more like completely independent entities; free to do whatever they want independently of one another?(I've only ever dealt with .com/.net… is it generally safer to stick with the tried and true Verisign ones? Or not at all?)

[Topic edited for clarity.]Using DW 19.0.1 build 11212First,Only on certain files, the "save" option (under File) is greyed out, I cannot ctrl-S.  I can exit DW and it asks if I want to save the changes before exiting.  I choose yes, it works, but I cannot save it normally.  This isn't on every file, only on certain ones.Secondly, on the same files, I am unable to insert a snippet.  If I double-click on the snippet - Nothing.  If I right-click, "insert" is greyed out.I've deleted the cache per other instructions I've found here but to no avail.Any pro tips for this?Thanks,-=Rob=-

I update my website occasionally enough that I tend to forget certain details. (And Adobe stops supporting the old ways I set it up, another story). When I updated my creaky old, non-dynamic site, I gave it a new name on my server (first PeasePress 2019, now changed to PeasePress) to distinguish it from the 2018 version. DW instructions say this is OK to do... When I relink to the server in Dreamweaver, and update the required FTP information, I left the Root folder blank. The host's tech support say that either leaving this blank, or /www/www -- I have tried both of these, and the site uploads to a PeasePress subfolder rather than .index.html being in the root directory. I think all my other settings are correct per DW and the web host.  I have tried some of the other suggested (generic or other-site-specific) suggestion in the DW help, including /, /www, various parts of my URL, but these bring up an error message when I click "test" or try to put the files online from DW, where

Hello,Can I change the C17 layout to look like this C6

After a little while (about 5 minutes), FW can't access Server STP, whatever the request. I need to cancel the request, and cancel the cancellation of the request (!!!), and send the FTP request again. WOUAH!! My work ends up having to do these manipulations twice. ISSUE SINCE DW 17 on MAC. Do you think i am patient ? Not for a long....NB: .... when FileZila, HTML FTP,  SHH, and others, work fine (seriously i've tried). So don't try to explain me that my settings might be wrong. THIS is another DW issue, since DW 17 (mac OSX). PLEASE FIX YOUR USUAL AND OLDER ISSUES that make our work harder.

it happens so many times that I do not count them anymore. PHP/CSS/JS files are corrupted (only for show) if DW got  a problem (crash or issue). I use DW since CS5, this double-issue is still here :

AutoCompletion reset to YES after 15 minutes and every 15 minutes. I need to set to False each time. Bravo, another idiot issue !NB: your autocompletion process is unusable, since the beginning. And since the beginning, its always a probleme to kill this function. Did you try to use it ? No, I don't think.
