Dreamweaver

Hallo, kann ich mich hier mit demselben Problen anschließen? Wenn nicht, sagt es mir bitte, dann mach ich einen neuen Thread auf. Ich benutze eine alte Version von Dreamweaver CC und schaffe es auch nicht, dass ein eingefügtes Bild in eine Tabelle dass ohne Rand zur unteren Tabellenzelle abschließt. Unten ist ein etliche cm breiter schwarzer Rand: http://www.alphazalpha.de/ahnen/schmidtke.html. Ich würde ja gern Osgoods Hinweis anwenden, hab aber keine Ahnung, wie und wo ich das einfügen kann. Bin ein ziemlicher Laie und kann z.B. mit dem Begriff "Stylesheet" nichts anfangen. Bitte um Hilfe!

Something weird has happened to my nav bar. Previously if I clicked on the menu item, the box would drop just from that item, but now my whole nav bar drops. It's like the dropdown box has been set to 100% and so it fills the width of the screen.. I can't for the life of me find the code error and have checked against other websites I've created as well, but the code seems the same. I know it will be a simple error, but I just can't seem to find it anywhere! Can anyone help?

I'm making progress and getting a bit more familiar with the program, but now I'm coming up aginst a rather tricky issue which entails modifying some outside elements for use in Dreamweaver. The specific information that I'm looking for at the moment has to do with W3Schools little "how to" tutorial on hover tabs. If you have a better suggesion I'll listen to it. Background: the old CS6 site which I want to port into the CC2021 version of Dreamweaver has a graphics collection. It's not that well built, I was in the process of learning Dreamweaver when I built it and would like to do it a bit better this time. (No, still not wanting to deal with Bootstrap until I am a good deal more familiar with Dw itself.)  Several pages in the collection have multiple images. I'd rather not make people have to scroll forever to see them all as is the case in the current site. The problem is that the images in the collection are not a uniform size. I just got a new Macbook Pro M1. On my old Macbook Pro i have DW CS6, on the new one i have CC 2021. If i import my website from CS6 to CC 2021 on my new Mac, will i use all the info i have in CS6 and cannot use it anymore? I do want to use CC but am nervous in case i do something wrong. 

I have been using Dreamweaver MX 2004 in Windows 10 for many years with no problems. Yes there is newer better software available but I don't have the time to learn how to use it and prefer to stick with what I know. I have a couple of websites that are very basic and MX 2004 enables me to keep them updated myself without outsourcing to designers. I currently have two websites installed on the software which I will call Site A and Site B. Site A is working fine as usual - update, put, synchronise etc. Site B has recently developed a fault that causes the program to crash whenever I try to connect to the remote server to view files, put or synchronise. Tis happened after I made some edits to the root file index.html and mucked up the code. Hi there,I would like to create a simple homepage with frames using Dreamweaver. The basic creation works without any problems. My problem is when I want to open a new link in a frame, a new browser tab opens. I am having a similar problem. MP4 videos aren't loading on firefox or chrome. I am NOT the one who uploaded them, I'm just trying to watch them. They sometimes load but most often just stutter and load for the entire thing.

Guten Tag, ich teste seit Tagen DW2021, habe jetzt eine Website veröffenlticht. Die gleiche war vorher mit DW CS6 erstellt. Optisch etwa gleich, Umfang und Inhalt identisch. Ich habe beide bezüglich Page Speed getestet und die neue aus DW2021 ist viel schlechter. Ladezeiten deutlich länger. Das liegt an den relativ großen Dateien von Bootstrap (css über 200kB, js etwa 250kB).Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Bootstrap-Dateien vom System zu reduzieren? Ich brauche keine 10% der Funktionalität. So dass man nur eine reduzierte Version von Bootstrap auf den Server läd? Alternativ könnte eine einfache Variante ausreichen wie z. B. die einfache Startvorlage mit multiColumnTemplate.css. Aber so etwas kann ich doch mit DW CS6 auch bauen. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie ich die Ladezeiten runter bekomme?Vielen Dank für Tipps oder Ideen!Christian

HI, I have been using the 'Magic Box' extension from projectseven for a year or more to build a website. I don't know whether Dreamweaver has updated or what has happened but this extension has disappeared from the 'insert' column where it always stores. I have tried reinstalling (it says it successfully reinstalled), and restarting although it looks to be in my files I can no longer find where it is stored to work it! Any ideas please?

I have been using DW CC 2015 on an older mac and recently bought a new M1 chip Mac Book Pro.  I have all of the CC software that I need on the new computer.  But when I try to open DW 2015 on the old computer nothing happens. Was it scratched/deactivated because I activated the Adobe Application Manager on the new computer?Main concern:  I would like to be able to export or otherwise transfer all of my site info and server connectivity settings so that I can import them to DW on my new computer.  I can't open DW 2015 or 2017 on my old Mac even though they were problem-free before activating DW 21.2 on my new Mac.  Help/insights greatly appreciated.

Do you configure xampp to send emails?

Is there anyway to set Dreamweaver to ALWAYS use the testing server for document source? Even though my site is static, for some reason Dreamweaver insists on mangling the layout (in Live view, don't even mention 'design' view) unless I set it to always using the testing server for document source. As it stands every time I open a document I have to remember to set 'View > Live View Options > Use Testing Server for Document Source', and as you can imagine it's getting old really fast.

Hi, I am using DreamWeaver version 21.2 build 15523.  I am a beginner and am trying to follow along with the examples in the book "Adobe Dreamweaver 2021 Version - Classroom in a Book". I am having a hard time with a few of the examples because when I try to select certain elements in "Live" view, DreamWeaver seems to automatically "expand" the selection to the element that contains the element I am trying to select (rather than the item I am trying to select). For example, right now I have a <table> element inside a <div> element. The instructions in the book say (in Live View) to select the <table> tag to bring up the Element Display for the <table> element. When I do this, I see the Element Display appear briefly for the <table> element (maybe not even for a second) only to then disappear. After this happens, the Element Display re-appears and is attached to the containing <Div> element. I can't figure out what I am doing

I have a nice Lightbox gallery on my website now, courtesy this great video by  Dan Carr (https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/how-to/make-web-portfolio.html#). I embedded a OAM file as directed by the Adobe Help page but while the page title shows, the media does not show. What am I missing? Bit lost as don't know that much HTML and limited experience with Animate. This is the webpage I'm attempting to embed into. It shows in Dreamweaver design view but not published. All the files should be on the server. Christmas Card 2021 (fastertrack.com) So in essence: Export media from Adobe Animate Import media into Dreamweaver Upload site to serverI did the above but something seems to have gone wrong I just don't know what/how to resolve. Thanks

When I add a new .jpg or http files to my computer they show up in my website folder on my computer, but are not availale when I try to open them in Dreamweaver. They don't show up at all! How do I get them to show up in Dreamweaver when I try to open them?

 Hello, I have created a simple html file to play a mp3 file:  As you can see, the <audio> player does not show in the upper split window. If I click on Real-time preview, it shows the player and it works:  What am I doing wrong that I can't see the player in Dreamweaver? Thanks in advance.

There have been a few posts about Dreamweaver and FTP-ing but no answers that definitively address the problem I am having. I have SiteGround hosting and have tried to set up the remote server to connect to it. Provided I leave the root directory blank, it tests OK. But when I set it to the public_html folder, I get an FTP error that access to that directory is denied. FileZilla connects to that folder, Dreamweaver shows it as a sub-folder of the root in the Remote Server pane, and SiteGround confirms that there are no restrictions on access.There must be some DW users with SiteGround hosting who are using the integration without a problem or I would have expected there to be howls of protest. If any of you are using it successfully, I'd love to know how you achieved it.I'm on the current DW build.

I have moved to DW CC from CS6. In design view in CS6, table cells showed dashed borders, so it was clear where they were. While I didn't want actual borders in the finished product, the dashed view was very helpful for things like seeing cells to merge them, and where to put the cursor to add data. In DW CC, my tables do not delineate cells in any visible way, the conent is just "floating in space". Is there a way to get the cell borders to show without putting actual visible borders on them? 

I have Adobe master Suite 5.5, I recently purchased a new laptop with high resolution, and everything is so small I cannot read it. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
