Hello,we're deploying Adobe Reader DC though GPO (MSI form AIP).Until now updates was disabled, now I want to enable continouus updates.I set the necessary registry keys to enable it but updates fail stating Error 100600 "updates have been disabled by your system policy".How ever, this occur even on a manual installation without any mst or other restrictions. Just double clicking the MSI and go through the installation.Updates are successfull if I install from exe.Is it possible to do an initial installation through GPO and then continue with automatic updates?Regards,Hermann

Our client has a Terminal Server environment with Microsoft Windows 2008 Operating system and they use Adobe Pro XI product on their server. For some reason, the Adobe will ask them to sign in/register every day. I tried to uninstall and re-install the product by downloading it from the login portal, but it gave me some errors which said: "ERROR 1911. Could not register". I have the screenshots if you need them. After I install when the users are trying to open any .pdf files the document will be closed and adobe registry screen will pop-up
[Moderator moved from The Lounge to Enterprise Deployment (Acrobat and Reader).]Hello! We are enterprise Adobe Acrobat users, and deploy product updates via GPO. We recently noticed our Adobe Acrobat product is not automatically updating, although Adobe Reader updates are coming through without issue.I tried utilizing an Adobe .admx without our Group Policy Management to see if that would help, but products still are not updating. We have about 25 users with Adobe Acrobat licensing, and Creative Cloud is saying Adobe is up-to-date, but it is not and keeps coming back as a vulnerability on our monthly vuln scans because it is not up to date.To fix this issue, currently, we are having to uninstall/reinstall Adobe completely for every single end user with a license. A process that takes about one hour for each user... and will have to be repeated for future updates.I have already tried the suggested troubleshooting to get Creative Cloud to recognize the updates and it is still saying Ado
Hello Everyone,I have decided to setup an Adobe Update Server for our micro college. We have about 125 Macs and 25 Windows. They are all managed with Serial licenses because any Faculty student can walk up and use them without signing in. (There is no manager application, I run RUM by Terminal). Currently we have to utilize the RemoteUpdateManager program to got out to the internet to each pull their updates, thus the appeal of setting up the server to point these computers to pull the data intra-wise. Anyway, we were planning to setup a Apache web server with a few hundred gigs but I have two generally quick questions. Does the update Server OS have to match the Client OS? If I make an OS X Server will it also be able to facilitate the Window 10 machines? Basically a server that will be pointed and updates pulled by both machines, or do we need to make two servers? Is the OS a Desktop varient or can we use a server variant OS like windows 2012 or 2016?Thank you all very much for you as

I have two Acrobat DC licenses associated with a single Acrobat account. One of the licenses is used by three users, that is, one is disconnected so that two can work. The second license is not used by anyone. I think the solution is to associate the second Acrobat DC license to another Acrobat account. But I can not contact Acrobat staff to advise me on this. What I can do...Thank you! Gracias!

Hi,We are packaging Reader DC. I asked the packager if the package was done in such way Remote Update manager will be able to update it. We confirm the version so it is the continuous version. so its good. But for now we found nothing saying the RUM was ready. In the Docs, I found creative suite package would include RUM but Nothing for reader. The packager did not find an option in the tuner. So how may we confirm RUM is ready for Reader DC?Thanks,

Hi,As the question suggests, I have been packaging Illustrator, Photoshop, and many other applications individually using the Creative Cloud Packager with the intent of pushing them to our designers. The packages usually install without a problem on our test virtual machines and can be uninstalled / reinstalled without a hitch - the problem is when we deploy these to work machines out on the network. The software will often download in Software Center (SCCM client on the machines) and the begin installing, but shortly afterwards fail with 0x643(1603). I have tried numerous machines and sometimes have success when I have asked them to restart the PC especially to install software, but this is not a workable solution to force someone to reboot just before updating their software. Can you provide me with the best methods and instructions to reliably install these apps? Thanks
Hi,All people who used CC 2015 device licenses have been revoked.I try to authenticate again and the login screen appears. Is there a solution? Also, when you try to run the CCP to create a license file or installation package, a message appears stating that you can not contact the Adobe server. It is a very embarrassing situation now.
We have a number of user licences and were wonder ing iff we could check how many have been taken up.Before the Admin Console was redesigned, it was fairly easy to do as it said if an invitation had been sent or if it had been accepted. In the new, redesigned console, I can't find this information. Is it still there somewhere?
Hello,I've been battling a problem with installing Creative Cloud Enterprise Subscription. My coworker created the package for me and I've tried to install it on 5 different computers and it fails every time. I've tried having the package re-created and it still failsI tried running setup as an admin. During installation, I can see applications populating on the desktop & start menu. However, somewhere in the middle of the installation, everything starts rolling back. One by one, each application that was installed is removed then I see this error:Also I have already tried this and it didn't help:"Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app I have the PDApp.txt log but there does not seem to be a way of attaching files to this forum. There is insert video & image but no ability to upload a txt file?
Greetings:Today, I have tested creating and using a CC uninstall command-line application on MacOS to test how it would do with uninstalling applications, except for CC 2018.Within the packager, I've chosen to cherry pick my choices of CC application versions to install, which were mainly 2016/2017 applications, but leave the 2018 ones alone. While a number of applications were uninstalled, more of them were not.It turns after, after another round of testing with a second version of the uninstaller, that point releases (for instance, 15.0.1) will not uninstall. Five of these point releases, including After Effects, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, are point releases for CC 2017, but all of them did not have, say, 15.01 for Photoshop, available as one of the choices to remove via the command-line application. I am assuming that the CC Packager that's generated is the most recent, so not sure why those point versions aren't available to choose before the package building process. If there's a
Good morning, I have a computer computing hall with 20 PCs where I installed 2 years ago Adobe CC 2016 via "Creative Cloud Packager" now I would like to update it in 2018 but without downloading it all but creating a package for updating ... it can be done?Thank you
Hi,I have downloaded the latest version of RUM 2.2.0.2, copied the exe to a remote computer and executed RUM remotely. The log output showsRemoteUpdateManager version is : 2.2.0.2Starting the RemoteUpdateManager...**************************************************No new updates are available for Acrobat/Reader**************************************************No new applicable Updates. Seems like all products are up-to-date.RemoteUpdateManager exiting with Return Code (0)I had previously deployed Adobe CC (mostly 2017 apps) via the cloud packager last year. I am not using an overrides file (or AUSST). Will RUM install major version updates, such as from 2017 to 2018? Or can it only update minor versions? If major, how come it isn't finding new products??Thanks
I need an alternative way of setting Adobe Acrobat DC as the default app for pdf's in Win10. DISM does not work for our environment and GPO may cause issues since we have have users who do not always boot from domain. I played around with some of the items in Configuration Wizard and nothing seems to work.Any help is appreciated. Thanks
is there any report under user management to show me how often the licence users are using the product so that I can see how many i need to renew if users are using extensively and if some users never logged into the product?
I used the same method as I am going to describe below to install CS6 but I cannot do this with Creative Cloud. After I built a install Package for Adobe Creative cloud I copied it up to a network share that I use for several other remote installations including Adobe CS6. I use Dell KACE to distribute my software and due to the large size of Creative Cloud and Creative Suite before it I do not want to copy the large install files directly to the appliance. The problem I am having is when I try to install from this network location just as I have with CS6 I get the following error: Installation operation failedWindows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Adobe_CC_NoAcrobat. Product Version: 1.2.0000. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Adobe Systems Incorporated. Installation success or error status: 1603.Adobe_CC_NoAcrobat is what I named the package. My install commands look like this:start /wait \\SERVER\AdobeCC\Adobe_CC_NoAcrobat\Exceptions\ExceptionDeployer.exe --wo
