The fade handle function was added in the 24.4.1 update. However, when controlling an audio clip with the mouse, you end up grabbing the fade handle when you want to grab the edge of the clip.It should be made so that this doesn't happen by mistake, or it should be possible to turn the fade handle on and off.

Case: I have a video with a shaky camera and a moving object in it. In older cases you would have to mask out the object to make Warp stabilizer ignore it and stabilize the rest of the picture. Since Warp stabilizer though an effect had never had a mask option you would have to add the mask and then nest the clip in order to make Warp stabilizer ignore the moving object. Now that we have a new masking mechanism that can added to effects as a separate masking layer with a set of adjustable tools of its own, I don;t a see any reason why a tracked object or normal mask can’t be added to Warp stabilizer to make it ignore an object without nesting

Hi Adobe, Can you please iclude an "editors notes" or todo list, inside of Premiere Pro? This would improve the worflow a lot (especially when passing over projects to new editors). Just having a dedicated window for comments/notes (that are saved with the project) seems like a no brainer and should not be too difficult to add in a future update? Thanks in advance!

I would like to request a specialized Generative Extend feature for Premiere Pro and After Effects designed for interview footage, talking-head clips, documentary editing, corporate video, and other dialogue-based production.A common editing problem occurs when an interview clip contains strong usable content, but the subject restarts a sentence, opens their mouth, blinks, leans back, changes expression, or moves awkwardly near the edit point. Even if the content is good, the last few frames can make it difficult to create a clean transition, dissolve, J-cut, L-cut, title overlay, or cutaway return.Current generative extension tools are promising, but for interview editing the goal is often not to create new motion. The goal is to create a short, usable editorial handle that preserves continuity while keeping the subject natural, stable, and believable.I would like Premiere Pro and After Effects to include a Pose-Locked Generative Interview Hold mode.Suggested workflow:The editor selec

Hello, some basic software UI design conventions for Premiere Pro: -Revert feature would be greyed out until document edits have been made (similar standard to Undo and Redo stack).-Close document dialogue button order would be the primary action Save on the right, Cancel next to it and additional buttons such as Don’t Save towards the left.(Would seem easy to correct here, since the buttons Cancel and Don’t Save are almost the same use case anyway.)Thanks!

Hopefully, Adobe will improve the most basic features for users…. After animating a Text, resizing works fine, since it’s included in the Properties, when the Text is selected. However, the position then moves relative to the animation… The goal for this use case is to align the Text to compensate for the resize. Thanks!

Replace or upgrade the current clip-based Time Remapping rubber band with a dedicated, track-expanding Graph Editor that includes a visual speed/value curve axis and independent Bézier handles. The goal is to allow editors to execute precise, frame-accurate speed ramps directly inside Premiere Pro without being forced to use Dynamic Link to After Effects for standard speed design. Core Pain Points with Current Tool:- Lack of Visual Feedback: The tiny timeline rubber band offers no precise Y-axis percentage scaling, making it incredibly difficult to gauge exact speeds or match curves across multiple clips.- Timeline Destructiveness: Adjusting speed percentages constantly shifts the clip’s internal In/Out points and boundary handles, disrupting the surrounding timeline structure.- Finicky Keyframe Controls: Splitting keyframe markers and adjusting the blue ease handles on a narrow track is notoriously micro-intensive and prone to accidental selection errors. Proposed Features & Funct

Apologies if this comes off as a gripe, but the UI for time remapping in Premiere really needs to be rethought. It is incredibly difficult to use, for many reasons:keyframe adding and adjustment with the selection arrows is non-obvious touch targets for bezier controls are minuscule in the Effects Control Panel, if you move past an edit, suddenly everything disappears as your display shifts to the next clip the height of the relevant UI elements in the Effect Control Panel are all tiny, and need to be manually expanded every time you use it  it is nearly impossible to make smooth speed ramps if you adjust them at all if you adjust the speed of a clip on the timeline, the new length of the clip pushes everything on your timeline aroundI could go on, but hopefully you get my point. Adjusting a clip’s speed is a painful process in Premiere, and I’d love it if some of the amazing brains that worked on the new color process in the Beta version could focus on time remapping.

I think, will be great to add ready aspect ratio in Premiere as an effects, like Avid MC does. Sometimes I need 16:9 or differect aspect ratio and yes, I can use adjustment layer and crop effect or download png file from Internet, But will be cool to have Astect Ratio as an effect and then choose in effect control what kid of ratio do you want in list menu

Disable the zoom feature via Magic Mouse scroll only in the “Settings” and “Program” windows, because accidental zooming is very annoying.Bonus Request: Social Captions. Dynamic captions for social media in the style of Instagram’s features, where the spoken word appears in a colored box. This would be a huge help for those who edit content for social media.I’m eagerly awaiting thistnx!

HiI' want to make some captions with a background, that does not change in height when using letters like "g" or "y". So it should only adapt when shorten or lengthen the text (one line). The problem is, that the height changes when using some specific letters (like "g", "y" or "p"). Is there a way to fix that? Best regards

User option to automatically return the playhead to the previous position, when pressing stop, so that the user can keep editing and adjusting a section of the video sequence. Thanks!

Greetings Community, There are occasions where I've nested a still image or a video clip as an element in a graphic clip.It would be helpful to be able to right click on these nested clips in the "Properties" panel (and the graphic clip's Effect Controls panel for that matter) and have the ability to "Reveal in Project" and "Reveal in Finder".In a large project with many clips and bins, it can be tedious to locate these stills/clips when the need arises.A bonus would be to have the abilty to right click and have the "Replace with clip    >" function as well.Hopefully, others would find this useful as well. Regards,Dan

Whenever I go to add music to my project, and I listen through my music from the source preview screen. Even though my project audio is leveled. Premiere always blasts my music at the highest full volume, and I always have to turn my computer audio down just to pick a song. If we can add an option in the source preview screen to turn down the volume while I preview songs and audios, that would be amazing

Right now the timeline Snap feature has no options - it works for all assets, and clips snap not to each other, but to TRANSITIONS, leaving gaps and unsynced layers, it's very annoying. Users have to manually check every clip for whether it snapped to other clip's border, or to it's transition border. It would be great to have an option to disable Snap for transitions or for keyframes or for other types of assets, like we have in "Snap to" feature in Effect Controls panel.Link to the discussion on Adobe forums https://forums.adobe.com/message/10377154

Can anyone help me? I just recently turn off my computer for a night's rest then the next day this pops up. My premiere cant seem to find the change to color filter and I dont know how to get it back. pls help need this asap, big thanks.     I altered lot using this filter!!! Pls help me need this asap!! Big thanks!!!   Mod note: Title changed slightly.

Is this the most bureaucratic feature in video editing? Why would a video editor click and select a clip without the frame appearing in the monitor for editing? Selection moves the playhead to the IN of the selected clip. Thanks!

The search function able to identify different people. You can then name them and search for them in any shots they are included in. An extra layer could be their dominance in the frame, foreground vs background, large vs small, glasses or not, hat or not.

Adobe products should be easier to use without requiring extra work for the same result. Most notably, the sequencer features. Pro Tools figured this out 30 years ago. Smooth. Now you’re saying, well we don’t benchmark Pro Tools, because this isn’t a sequencer. Really? How hard is it to select all clips in a track? How hard is it to align the video clips to the audio track? I hope for easier features for editing music and brand videos.

When editing with photos and videos often we’ll shrink an image on a top layer incorrectly (v1 for instance).  [Think 4K video on 1080P timeline 48% scale - the image on top does not fill the screen completely].  But because V1 image might be dark and it’s over “system black” (default layer) it’s tough to see.  We then export the video and only notice that V2 isn’t sized large enough when watching playback.  So we need to go back into Premiere and fix. When working with a lot of image resizes I often make an orange colored background and put it on v1, then do the rest of the editing on the layers on top (V2+).  If any are not sized correctly I’ll see the orange and know to fix.Perhaps something like SAFE MARGINS that you can click on and off, yet doesn’t show up in the actual output.

The idea is as simple as it can get, just let me change the Guide from the preview window. It’s totally unnecessary to go the ‘view’ section and change it from there, I’m constantly with my cursor near to the timeline and preview.A right click on the ‘Show Guides’ tab of the preview window should make the saved templates of guides pop up so we can switch it from there.NOTHING ELSE.

Reset Queue in Media Encoder will pull newly saved Premiere Pro project into Queue.  Say I make a timeline of 30 promos in Premiere Pro (in/out and add a clock number to each promo) then I send each individual one to Media Encoder.  Then I run Queue in ME and export everything.  If there’s a problem with the promo and I fix the issue in Premiere Pro, I need to do all the above again with each of the 30 promos.  You think there would be a way to ‘reset’ the Queue and when you run the Queue again it looks at your newly saved Premiere Pro project (with the promo fix) and them exports everything again with the fix.

When I'm in Color Mode in Premiere Pro 26.5.0 (currently Beta), it would be nice to have a tracking button for the Object Mask Tool.Currently you have to open the Effects Control and go to Color Effect > Clip > Adjustment > Object Mask > Tracker.Since the Color Mode is a revamp version of the color mode, I think that the object tool selection is something to use all the time when color correcting stuff. To go to all that menues just to track, seems too much. When Toogling the Object Mask Tool, have a button somewhere, maybe like a Style Module, where you can track the subject and also change feather and stuff like that.

When I'm using a dual-monitor setup, whenever I want to attach proxies or link media, the pop-up window is too small to comfortably search for the materials, it looks like a programming error. It's very time-consuming to keep switching workspaces just to be able to properly view the material.
