We need a solid mask and object tracking tool directly within the Effect Controls panel. The game-changer would be the ability to link the tracking data to another object or layer, similar to how Null Objects work in After Effects. Having to use Dynamic Link for simple position or scale tracking is an unnecessary bottleneck in the daily editing grind.
The current velocity graph editor in Premiere is far too clunky and makes it unnecessarily difficult to get the exact curve you're looking for. It’s a constant struggle with the UI just to get a smooth ramp. We need a complete overhaul to make keyframe manipulation fluid and intuitive—similar to what the Smoothify plugin achieves. On top of a better UI, adding a native Curve Presets feature (like Ease In/Out, Elastic, or Custom Bezier presets) would be a massive productivity boost, allowing us to apply consistent motion without manually tweaking handles every single time. We need to spend more time editing and less time fighting the graph.
The ability to see a waveform and the video at the same time.
I find it pretty awkward how the video and audio tracks are in their own separate panels with two different scrollbars working independantly. Is it possible to have all the video + audio in just one panel? I know it would mean more scrolling up / down overall, but I'd find it a lot easier than having two scrollbars
An excellent feature that I believe many can take advantage of would be the ability to take markers in the marker pane and convert them into subclips with CTRL/CMD + U (indivudally or with multiple selected.) Subclips would be created either from marker to marker automatically or (if the marker had a duration defined) the subclip would be the length of the marker range. Subclips would automatically receive the name of the marker.
Now that Premiere Pro is distributed exclusively through Creative Cloud and Adobe no longer provides physical boxed software, I’d like to request that Adobe make individual point-release installers (for example, version 23.6) available to subscribers.Access to specific builds can be important for maintaining compatibility with existing projects, plugins, and established production workflows. When only the newest version—or a limited set of major versions—is available, it can make it difficult to reopen older projects in the same environment in which they were created.Since Creative Cloud is now the sole distribution method, it would be very helpful if subscribers could download and install specific point releases within a major version when needed.I’d appreciate Adobe considering this feature, and I’m curious if other editors have run into similar situations.
Would be amazing if the Premiere Graph editor UI looked and felt more like it does in After Effects.Thicker and less pixelated lines, more reactive easing. Right now it feels pretty clunky in comparison.
"Currently, users have to create custom bins to organize frequently used effects. It would be much more intuitive to have a simple 'Star' or 'Heart' icon next to each effect in the Effects Panel. Clicking this icon would automatically add the effect to a dedicated 'Favorites' category at the top of the list. This would significantly speed up the workflow for editors who rely on the same 10-15 effects daily."
There has long been a "refresh growing file" setting in the Preferences->Media section but I have never understood what it does. I think it had something to do with streaming or broadcasting workflows. Could we extend that functionality to images sequences as well. Or give us a way to "update an image sequence" when more files have been added to the end of it. Currently I have to either unlink and relink the media file, or reimport it, or use the replace media command. Would be nice to have a function in premiere where it can just refresh and look for new frames. Usually just trying to preview a render in progress from C4D or Blender or something, but there is no way to refresh footage like their is in AE.
Tener el botón de eliminar foto, visible en la aplicación Mobile para descartar rápidamente la foto.
Hello Adobe Premiere Pro Team,My name is Felipe, and I have been working professionally as a video editor for over 15 years. Premiere Pro has been my primary editing tool for a long time, and it is an essential part of my daily workflow.I would like to share a feature suggestion that could significantly improve the editing experience for many editors. In the audio tracks, Premiere offers the Solo (S) and Mute (M) options, which make it very easy to isolate specific tracks or combinations of tracks. This is extremely helpful when working with complex timelines. However, in the video tracks, there is no equivalent “Solo” function.Currently, when working with multiple layers of video, the only way to clearly view a specific layer is to manually toggle the visibility (the eye icon) or temporarily disable other tracks. In more complex timelines, this can become slow and inefficient.A “Solo Video Track” feature, similar to the audio Solo function, would allow editors to quickly isolate one or
Hi Adobe Team,One feature I really appreciate in Avid Media Composer is the ability to open clips or sequences in additional pop-up source monitors (Option/Alt + double-click). This allows you to have multiple floating viewers open at the same time without replacing the main Source monitor. It’s extremely useful during tasks like:- conforming- comparing different takes or versions- checking reference clips- navigating to specific timecodes without losing what’s already loaded In Premiere, opening a clip typically replaces whatever is currently in the Source monitor, which makes this kind of workflow harder. It would be great if Premiere allowed opening clips or sequences in additional floating Source monitors, similar to Avid’s pop-up monitors. Cheers

Short version:Let me add notes to my clips on the timeline. Long version: There should be a new mode for the timeline view: Miniature for video start + Notes Miniature for video start and end Miniature for video start Continous Video MiniatureIn this new mode, make it so that I can double-click the free space of a clip to add notes, like so: Benefits: You can scan your timeline for information and clips without playback. Would be much faster than adding markers with text Info at your fingertips (vs. text-based editing via the Text-Panel) Freedom to include information other than transcription of the spoken text Optional AI-mode to write descriptive keywords down for you Real-espace in the timeline used well Other workflows and modes stay as they were Thanks for considering.
Premiere Pro often auto-tags audio clips as “Dialogue,” “Music,” etc. when importing or editing. When it does this, it silently applies settings in the Essential Sound panel—like Enhance Speech, Loudness Auto-Match, Repair Noise, etc.—without telling the user. This is a problem because:It changes the sound of the audio without consentIt can break carefully mixed clips or cause confusion during editingThere is no clear way to disable or configure this auto-tagging behavior“Remove Attributes” doesn’t clear these hidden settings eitherFeature request:Please give users the ability to:Turn off auto-tagging of audio clips entirelyCustomize what (if anything) gets enabled when a clip is taggedPrevent auto-enabled features like “Enhance Speech” or “Reduce Noise” from being applied without user actionThis would make Premiere’s behavior more transparent and give editors full control over their audio workflow. Thanks!
I have been an Adobe Premiere User since a past few years. I often come across multiple takes/ multiple cameras and multiple audio layers while starting a project. The current sync feature is basically useless in such scenarios It has to be synced before editing begins. I have used Pluraleyes for most of my years and now it has stopped support and running on Mac os SonomaA basic feature like sync should be inbuilt to Premiere. Why should any editor pay separately to sync a video and audio?Sync is a basic necessity for editors. I hope Adobe prioritizes this.
Hello, It will be nice you can add the Romanian language for the speech-to-text feature in Adobe Premiere's next versions. Thank you
I'd like to have the name of the sequence burned in with my timecode/metadata burn in, as well as the ability to add freeform text as one of the Lines, without having to use separate instances of a Text clips in order to burn in this metadata.
It’s 2026 and I can’t believe a something so simple like dashed lines don’t exist!!
Odiei.
If I want to create motion blur for animations inside Premiere, I need to use the transform effect to add shutter angle. I'm sure that shutter angle could be added to the motion settings that are there by default on every clip. This would make the workflow a little bit faster.
Hi ! I'm editing videos on a daily basis for social networks and of course, it needs captions. As it is often humorous and contains puns, the auto transcribe is making up words and I'm losing quite a lot of time correcting the captions created. Youtube has a really good feature where you paste plain text and it is auto-syncing it to the video. It would be great to have something similar. The corrected transcript feature is not powerful enough. Thanks !
When you hover over a clip in the timeline, that clip's information appears. However, when you switch from Premiere to another app, such as Photoshop, the information remains on the screen.→ This seems to have been an issue for some time, but it hasn't been fixed even now in version 26.0.1.Creative Cloud app integration is a major advantage of Adobe apps. This issue, which significantly undermines this advantage, needs to be resolved.
PLZZZadd ability to have shortcuts for Presets like-Transitions-Effects-Adding color matte, adjustment Layer directly to the timelinethis will save us a lot time and thank you
Same like AE and ME when a video finishes rendering it makes a ring
