Just curious with all the developers and QA how this does not stand out as ridiculous?! Every other situation where an app shows you the complete output path you can also click on it to get there. Including all other Adobe products. lollolol
Are you kidding me? It's 2025, and I STILL can't rotate videos directly from the bin in Premiere Pro? How is this even possible? This is basic functionality! I'm wasting time jumping through hoops for something that should have been implemented ages ago. FIX THIS. NOW. Thanks.
Please could we have social media title safe guides integrated in the Program window tool menu? the broadcast ones are great but so many of us are creating content for social media these days. Thanks 🙂
Although I appreicate that the crop tool has been made a default option in Premiere, it's still missing the core useful feature of the original crop effect - being able to select the effect, and then drag in from one of the 8 blue boxes around the image to crop. This is so much easier than changing each of the 4 left, top, right, bottom parameters individually for most use cases. Please add this functionality to new crop tools.
I used to be able to glance at my timeline and EASILY identify which clips had source effects, standard effects, etc. applied and now there is NO WAY to do this at a glance. When your timeline consists of dozens of clips, this is absolutely infuriating. Apparently some users were confused by the badge color-coding. To be completely honest, i was too when i was a new Premiere user. But guess what? I LOOKED IT UP AND THEY WERE SUPER HELPFUL. This is software designed for professionals who own the responsibility of learning the software if they want to use it. If you're a hobbyist, then it probably doesn't matter if you understood the badges or not Besides, if they're confused – let them be confused. The colored badges did no harm, whether you understood them or not, and served a great purpose. Apparently some users found certain badge colors hard to see. Totally valid if you needed to update it for accessibility – but that is SUCH an easy fix: simply add an accessibil
Happy Monday to all the other creatives making history as Adobe expands -I just wrapped a music video for Lelica Palecco - and I wanted to share a best practice that maybe some of the incredible team continuing to push and redefine our collective editing and content creating experience may implement -Here's the video, btw and thanks Adobe - NOT one crash during the editing process https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36ZdxMmITCUso, when I'm dealing with dailies , especially if I shot those images, I prefer to work with thumbnails for quick reference as opposed to file name structure - I did this back in the AVID media composer 7 days lol -anyhow, here's my suggestion - when I select the clip to"find frame in bin"or "reveal in project" or "find clip in bin in project"', its not always easy to see the highlighted clip - my suggestion is allowing the user to customize the highlighted clip color - please see before and afterBEFORE - highlighted clip isn't easy to seeAFTER - my g
Adjust the clips ancor point from where it was originally selected, to the in point when dragging to a new timeline. When dragging a clip from a selects timeline, to your sequential, it would be helpful if the mouse was tied to the in point of the clip rather than where the clips was grabbed with the mouse. Anytime I am dragging a clip, its to build forwards into the video, however if the timeline I am pulling from is zoomed in, when grabbing the clip, it will be selected at the 3 minute mark for example. Dropping this on the new timeline would either erase previous edits, or at least need to be repositioned. I can't think of a time where I would prefer the original method. CTRL rebuttle: No I dont want to shift the clips underneath.
Hi!Sorry if I missed something, but as far as I can see for now, there is now way to distinguish if an audio-plug-in is switched on or off in Audio/FX-Mixer. I need to switch through every single plug in to check if its switched on or off (and to check this little round always grey FX-symbol). Especially if you have a weaker PC, working with 4K footage and modern AI-Tools its essential to temporarily switch off FXs. And it's nice to have a global switch-off-button for Video material, but there no such a button for audio. So its a pain to check all plug ins for on or off state and to remember them (which was on which was off, when you want to render)1) Please change color or whatever to be able to distiguing immediately if an audio-Plugin is switched on or off #essentialwish!!!2) Please give us a glocal FX-off/on-Button for audio.3) It would be a dream if you introduce a preset-manager for audio plug-ins (incl. VST). To save at least a 5-Channel-package would be a start
I get why the offline material message is there and it's a useful feature (though could be way more useful if it gave you a list of timecodes where this material is). My issue is that I will often have a large timeline with random footage sitting on it that may/may not be online at the moment, but the final video that I will export which is sitting within the in/out points I've chosen that doesn't have any offline material still presents with this error when I go to export. The program is obviously just looking at the whole timeline and seeing some random offline clips but it makes me nervous that maybe my final video has offline material in it (even though it doesn't). You need to change how this works so that if in/out points are around a section that has no offline material, then there should be no error shown. In/out points should 'protect' it from errors even if the rest of the timeline is offline.
I'm using Premiere 24.6.0 currently, so please forgive me if this was already implimented in version 25. In the Marker Panel, the In and Out points of all markers are shown, but not the Duration of the markers. For me, it would be extremely helpful if Duration was shown. I use the Duration of markers often because I use markers to lay out where my graphics will go and how long they should be on screen. As it is, the only way to see the Duration is to mouse over the marker itself in the timeline. Having Duration in the Marker Panel would be a huge time-saver! Thanks, and have a great day!
Thanks for wide gamut! Please add a qualifier tool for color changes. Fine color adjustments would help premiere compete with resolve color. RAW limitations on resolve are a huge bottleneck for workflow when editing in premiere and coloring on resolve. A Qualifier like Assimilate scratch would be game changer.
While I really like the ability to zoom in and out on the program/source windows, it's really annoying when it randomly zooms in or out with a slight touch of the mouse. I realize this is priimarily an Apple Magic Mouse issue, but it would be helpful if you could easily lock the window to keep this issue at bay. When I need to zoom in to adjust text or whatnot, I could just unlock with a keystroke or mouse click.I know this is a common issue for a lot of people and I'm hoping to get this upvoted.
Any way to use the transcript in Premiere Pro to automatically generate ai descriptions and chapter markers that can be exported and used for YouTube?
It is incredibly annoying to have to remember a whole file path to find your file after you've exported. Premiere already has a little pop up after exporting successfully. And if you click it, it takes you to the events window. If you click the event it gives you the filepath. BUT! It's not clickable. Please just make it a link to the enclosing folder!!! Easy. You have it this way more or less in Media Encoder. You just click on the file path and it takes you there like Madonna.
Hello,Compared to Pro Tools for example, the Sequencer seems much more cumbersome to use. -Sequence could enable inserting a cursor or selection either on a Track or the Timeline. This would enable easier copy paste to desired location and track. In addition, Automate to Sequence only seems to work on the first track, the user has to make room and move the clips around.-Selecting a clip in the Sequencer doesn't move the playhead position accordingly, so the user may start editing the wrong text in the Program panel.-Toggling between the Sequence and Program panels could be more apparent that way. -Clicking on an empty area on a Track paints the area unexpectedly white distracting the user to click twice.-Moving the cursor from Program screen to Sequence doesn't deactivate the Text area for proper preview.-Editing to BPM would make music based productions more fun. Workaround is to import a metronome beat from DAW and copy it onwards while adding the Markers for each beat.&nbs
Hello,Most applications return the screen position to the edit status of each Undo. Thanks.
Hello, Maybe redesign the Import Media, as duplicate media files appear in the Project folder... The user has to select Consolidate for the application to work properly. Thanks.
Sometimes content might need to replay on a loop, or having the ability to pick a segment of a song out to repeat in another part of the timeline could be useful, generating a loopable segment, or even being able to loop the entire track, would be a handy feature.
Whenever I change the settings for a sequence, PPro gives me the message that changing things will "Delete all previews for this sequence". I'm really not bothered about the previews being binned, and I'd love it if there's a "don't show this message again" checkbox.
Why premiere pro lacks the playhead "move time to preview time" like After Effects???Am I missing something, this is annoying. It would be nice to press spacebar and have playhead actually stay where it was... lolIf answer exists can someone "kindly" share answer, if no answer perhaps and actual Adobe admin can send this one upstairs to the programmers and get this feature implemented?Thank you🙂
It'd be helpful to be able to move clip markers to other clips in the same sequence (at the same timecode within the sequence), or to turn them into sequence markers, and vice versa. Between an editor and an Assistant Editor (AE), it is common for the AE to need to move markers the editor added to a clip or sequence to another clip/video track, or move sequence markers to clips, etc. There was a post about this in 2019:https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/can-you-copy-clip-markers-and-make-them-into-sequence-markers/m-p/10596198 Also, is it possible to export sequence markers?
Please implement a shortcut that lifts Video Up and Audio Down Simultaneously. [text edited by mod]
Hi team, it would be great to have a time tracking feature in premeire, for those like me who want to be able to accurately bill for the time spent cutting, it would be fantastic to have a run down of the time spent cutting after a project is finalized. Also, admidtly more grand, it would be great to have a basic project managment and tracking built in, perhaps based on timelines and tags, with targetable lables for rough, fine, final and locked cuts so we can see where the time is spent and how the project evolves in the edit. Ideallly this would be based on input rather then having to manually track time in another app. Thank for the consideration.
Hi, I'm using a lot of audio transition to avoid "clicks", so i use audio transition of only one frame.Currently i can't lower the default duration less than two frames, so i have to manual change it everytime i use a transition Is there a technical barrier or is it a choice of the dev team to not let the user set the default transition to one frame ? Could it be changed ? Is there a work aroud i could use ? Have a good day
As more and more people use timecode devices like Tentacles or Diety to sync consumer grade mirrorless or DSLR cameras by embedding timecode into the camere's audio track, the ability for Premiere to natively identify this would help rememdously. Currently i have to use a editing sodtware from a well known brand, and it slows my workflow to sync in this other software, then import back into Premiere as XML, then output another XML back into the other editing software for someone else to perform the coloring process. thanks
