I would like to see the scroll bars in Premiere Pro to be added back on the software.... the hand tool is not a good comprise.... Especially with a deep zoom-in. Thanks
Fit and Fill options in the properties box should work when video has been rotated. Not lock it back to previous orientation. If I have a clip for social and I need to rotated 90 degrees or -90 degrees that should lock so when clicking FIT or FILL it will adjust the scale only and not revert the rotation back to 0. Done with the new 25 Beta, Mac OS. Thanks for your time.
It's 2024, Ae has the blueprints for everything you could possibly want when it comes to the ability to create and animate masks, why are Premiere's tools still so primitive? I understand that you can just work between the two but that's not always ideal especially if you just need to mask one thing quickly. It doesn't make sense to have to use two different apps when the tools should exist in both. There needs to be a better way to control the size, shape, and animation of a mask. For example, when creating a rectangular mask why can't I just scale the entire thing up to fit the size of my frame instead of having to position each point individually? Having to move each point on its own means doing a lot of guessing as to where exactly they need to be especially since there is no real snapping in Premiere. Also, in the year of our Lord 2024, why can I still not adjust what kind of keyframes a mask uses? I'm stuck with only linear keyframes? Just because? So I'm stuck man
The new import window feels modern and has all the essential features. However for some one who is used to transcode footage or copy and create proxies at the same time this new import window is not usefull. I constantly have to use the media browser and use the ingest setting to either transcode or copy and create proxies. This is particularly a must for users with not so powerfull computers.
Please can we get better power tracking windows for colour like Resolve for isolating colour.
Is it possible to stretch the marker like in the video, the desired length of the video, touch the marker anywhere and let's say with the slash (/) key, mark everything under the marker automatically...thanks
Yes, you currently right click and scroll up the contextual menu to do this, but would it not make more sense to have button down to the left of the Automate to Sequence button?
I noticed there is no option for f-log/f-log2 in color management override settings. Please Add support to F-Log/F-log2 in color management which will help fuji users
It would be great to be able to slip an edit numerically. Currently, if I only want to slip an edit a few frames I need to zoom in on the timeline and then drag with the Slip Edit tool. Being able to do so numerically would be significantly faster, more efficient and more accurate.
In Adobe Audition, I like the feature where If I want to play from forward some duration of my timeline, I just need to place my playhead there and it automatically plays without the need to play button. It would be more flexible for me if I get the same feature in premiere pro.
I am constantly having to take 16:9 (3840x2160) footage and reframe for 9:16 (1080x1920) - it's a standard thing at this point - repurposing for social media. So if it's so common why does the auto frame feature not constrain to standard media sizes. I just re-framed a 16x9 sequence into vertical 9x16 and the dimensions are 1215x2160. So then I have to change sequence sizing and further adjust clips. Adobe can you give us 1080x1920 9x16 and 1080x1350 4x5 as standard for the reframe? Or a check box for "Common Dimensions" or something?
Hi Y'all! I made all of my comment markers on the clips, but I want them to be on the top timeline area instead. I haven't found a way to move or copy the clip markers onto the top timeline area. Does anyone know a way to quickly move all of my clip markers up to the timeline? Thanks!
After cutting up an audio clip, I'd like to have the system automatically "auto-match" all the newly created smaller audio clips. Similar to the auto transcription feature, that transcribes all clips that are placed onto the timeline, I'd also like the ability to have the system automatically auto-match all audio that's placed on the timeline. And everytime audio is cut up, the ability to have the system automatically auto-match it. Thanks!
Would lvoe a colorized waveform option in the Lumetri Scopes window. Can even call it Waveform (Color). DaVinci Resolve has it. It's very useful for colorizing in the highlights and shadows. Would love this feature.
Creating this post to unify past posts and have it for future people searching for this on google.https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/language-treanscript-to-croatia/idi-p/14258741https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/text-transcription-in-slavic-language-bosnian-croatian-serb/idi-p/13436278As I understood we need to have a number of upvotes for a mod to consider adding this feature to Premiere Pro.Actually, only Serbian or only Croatian would work because it's very similar. Linked posts have 1200+ views, there may be a chance to move this forward if you guys log in and upvote.3rd party tools are a hassle... Much more convinient to have it inside PP.Tags: balkan serbian croatian bosnian transcript speech to text captions subtitles adobe premiere pro
I can CTRL+click a clip in the timeline and choose Reveal in Finder, but I can't seem to map it as a shortcut. In fact, it appears I can only map as a shortcut Reveal in Finder from a Project or Bin panel. How come? Or am I missing something? Why I care: I've got several clips in my show that I need to transcode in Media Encoder, I only want to do the ones I'm currently working with, I'd like to find them in the timeline and press one key to reveal them outside the project. As is, I either have to ctrl+click the clip and find Reveal in Finder or make sure the clip is highlighted in the timeline, Match Frame it back to the Source window, Reveal in Project and, only then, Reveal in Finder.Martin
Please, vote those who are sick of Premiere Pro's way of "correcting" the sound pitch when a clip speed is changed. I mean this checkbox that corrects the picth but adds a so-pleasant-to-the-human-ear stereo separation that makes the audio unusable:I thought that Adobe should have fixed this already but today I got stumbled by hearing it in Premiere Pro 24.6.1. Adobe, don't you think it's lame having such a solution within a professional software? Is it so difficult to make this "maintain audio pitch" option work as it should without any distortion? How come Audition does it perfectly, and Premiere Pro does not?For this reason those Premiere Pro users that got fed up with this way of correction the pitch have come up with a Premiere Pro plugin which just does the job a way better and with just a mouse click.See the video below (the green is Premiere Pro's maintain audion pitch, the blue is the plugin, the original video which comes the first was sped up by 50%).Adobe, please, fix
In the resulting transcript, most timestamps are OK, but a few timestamps are regularly wrong. These incorrect timestamps have in common: People in the clips say Aaah or Hmmm too long before speaking (one speaker, for 4.5 seconds). Do others in the community also have the same problem? If “Yes,” I suggest that the speech-recognizing AI also recognizes too long Aaah or Hmmm in the future (or, the possibility of manually correcting the few incorrect timestamps).
There is a serious bug that's making it almost impossible to work. I don't think this version is different enough from earlier versions that my project wouldn't work on them. These are the kinds of things that make me look for alternative programs. How about export to earlier versions? Simple.
I would love to have the ability to snap the easing handles of keyframes easing values in the curve editor. This would allow for much smoother keyframe easing across multiple properties, as most keyframed values begin and end at a velocity of 0%. Currently, the Position property cannot move below 0% on the speed curve, which is the behavior I'd like to mimic on other properties such as Scale, for example. Since the scale property's speed graph can move below a value of 0%, it's very difficult to give equal speed values to both the position and scale when they're animated in sync. Having the ability to "snap" the speed handle to a value of 0%, similar to how After Effects allows, would greatly improve the accuracy of animating simple movement on a clip. In addition to snapping within the speed graph, the ability to snap the bezier handles of the value graph to perfectly horizontal would similarly improve the efficiency of easing with that graph type.
I want my obsolete effects back please please please
When I use e.g. HSL in Adobe Premiere Pro for color corrections, I grab the color with an eyedropper and can use the plus and minus buttons to define which color I want to include and which I want to exclude. Sometimes I end up with a selection that I am more dissatisfied with than the previous one. Now I want to use the undo function, with Ctrl Z as usual. But that doesn't work. I can only use + and -. I would like to have Undo for the pipette.
How do I adjust the length of an audio transition on a wav file in timeline premiere with multiple tracks.
Sometimes I just need to throw some text on a screen as a temporary measure; a lower third, an ADR line, a missing shot, a VFX number, subtitles, those kinds of things -- and most of the time I don't need the heavy firepower of an advanced (and amazing) motion graphics app. I find that inserting any text into most of my projects, even just a few words in the default font, can bog down my playback performance, which is frustrating. When I turn the text track off, playback is fine. When I turn it on, it gets choppy. I know this would be an extremely non-fancy, low-fi tool, but I would LOVE to have an option of a simple text tool as a seperate function of Premiere for these kinds of low-fi needs. All I need is a few lines, the ability to adjust size and position, a font, color and opacity option -- I don't even need keyframes of any kind! Just some letters on the screen. Or if something like this already exists -- please do tell! Thanks for hearing me out!!
I am often warned before rendering that individual clips are offline and may be rendered with the proxies. I would like to have a button that highlights all media in the timeline that are offline, e.g. with a small red flag.In Adobe After Effects, I can right-click on a medium in the project window to find out in which compositions this medium was used. I would also like this for Premiere Pro in relation to the timeline.
