For a complete overview of camera support in Photoshop and Lightroom, visit the following article:Why doesn't my version of Photoshop or Lightroom support my camera? Make sure your version of Photoshop or Lightroom is updated for the latest camera support. If you own an older version of Photoshop or Lightroom, Adobe provides backward compatibility for the latest cameras through the FREE Adobe DNG Converter. Note: ETAs for specific cameras are not available.
Lens Profiles apply to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web). Lens Profiles are available for a wide array of lenses. Not every lens is currently profiled, and of those profiled, not all are profiled for all camera and file types. For example, there may be a profile for a particular lens and camera mount for the raw file but not for the JPEG. Normally, profiles for JPEG are not supplied unless the camera does not apply a correction (e.g. iPhone, GoPro). A complete list of profiled lenses can be found here: https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/supported-lenses.html other helpful info: https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/lens-profile-support.html#Supported_lenses Lens correction for all Micro 4/3 (MFT) lenses and many newer cameras, including Panasonic and Olympus cameras, and other cameras (including Fuji X, Leica Q, and Nikon Z series)plus many point-and-shoot models from Ca
Camera-matching Profiles are applicable to Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic, and the Lightroom Ecosystem products (Desktop, Mobile, and Web).Note: Not all cameras will receive camera-matching profiles. This thread is a place to request missing camera-matching profiles for specific models. Please include a complete camera model designation and a list of the specific camera-matching profiles you are requesting in your request. If your camera is already listed in this thread, please reply to the specific camera’s post rather than just posting in-line. Camera-matching profiles are provided for some camera manufacturers and models. As raw support is added for individual camera models, camera-matching profiles for some cameras may be added when raw support is initially offered. Other cameras may see camera-matching profiles added at a later date. It is also possible that a specific camera may see a long delay or perhaps not ever receive a specific camera-matching p
When presented with a New Post screen in the Adobe Community, you are given three options for Conversation Type: Discussion, Bug, and Idea. If you were searching in Discussions, the New Post window will default to Discussions. If you are searching in Bugs, the New Post window will default to Bugs and likewise for Ideas. Many customers instinctually report problems they are experiencing as “Bugs”. It is natural to think that a problem you are having might be a bug. A bug is defined, for our purposes, as “something in the software that is not functioning as it was designed to function”. Interpreting whether a behavior is a bug or not is not always easy, however. Here are some reasons why you might want to consider posting first to Discussions rather than jumping straight to reporting in Bugs: Most items reported as Bugs are not actual bugs. In a typical group of reported bugs, only about 3 out of 25* bugs reported turn out to be actual bugs. Of those, typically 2 ou
This post applies to Adobe Camera Raw plug-in. Adobe Camera Raw team is sharing an early look of our new Reflection Removal feature, which removes reflections caused by plate glass surfaces from photos. Note: The feature currently only works on raw photos. Support for JPEGs & HEICs is added in the April 24 Update. There is a known issue on some Windows machines where the feature may produce a corrupt image. We are working on a fix for the upcoming release. Check out HelpX for more detailed usage information. For more technical information on the underlying technology, please refer to this Blog post. Getting started with the Reflection Removal feature: Make sure you have the “New AI Features and Settings Panel” Technology Preview enabled in the Camera Raw plug-in Preferences dialog (requires restarting the host application to activate). Go to the Remove panel [B] , and in the “Distraction Re
Announcing a new feature now in Adobe Camera Raw (17.2) – Removal of Distracting PeopleUnder the Remove dialog, under Distraction Removal, we have added an item called “People”. This feature supports faster and easier detection and removal of distracting people in an image. It is offered as a Tech Preview in the Adobe Camera Raw Plugin-only and is available now. Please try it out and let us know what works well, what doesn’t work well, and anything that might improve the experience. Thank you! Peter Baust - Dir, Product Management Posted by Rikk Flohr
This post is to collect in-app customer feedback from Camera Raw for the Technology Preview of the Generative Expand feature. Generative Expand seamlessly blends the edges of your existing image with newly generated content that naturally fits into the background without taking away from your photo’s original subject. Some use cases for Generative Expand are: Expand the canvas for images that were accidentally cropped Fill in the edges of a panorama Adjust the aspect ratio of a photo for social media This feature is currently a Technology Preview, and we are still working to ensure it meets your needs. We'd love to hear what it does well, what it doesn't do well, and how you'd like it to work. Please also include the following details in your post: Camera raw version System details Example image(s) if you wish to share Our team continually monitors this thread. Thanks! This post applies to Camera Raw. Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Ecosystem feedback can be found here. Previous Early Access Feedback can be found here. Generative Remove makes it easier to remove unwanted objects and distractions with a simple gesture, even on complex backgrounds. For more accurate results, be sure to include the object's shadow in your selection and/or expand its size. Detect Objects uses AI to find the objects underneath a brushed area. The masked areas will now appear larger than the Early Access version of this feature. You can also circle objects for quicker selection now. We have also updated the spot selection experience to make it easier to manage variations, switch the fill type, refine the selection area, or re-generate as needed. Batch updating is also now supported for Generative Remove spots. As Generative AI analyzes portions of the image that have been cropped out, Camera Raw has the ability to tog
For the past few weeks, opening Camera Raw from Bridge and trying to use selection mask such as background or subject, I get the “Unable to Load AI Models” error. The fix for this is often to go into Carmera Raw Performance settings, reset GPU Support, and then restart bridge. This does allow me to use the tool/mask I was trying to use. However, every 2nd or 3rd time I open Camera Raw from Bridge, I have to do this again. Dear Adobe Support Team,I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a persistent technical issue with my Adobe Creative Cloud subscription and the substandard support experience I received over the past 24 hours.Account Details:Email: joaoprmatos@hotmail.com Active Subscription: Photography Plan (Lightroom Classic, Lightroom, and Bridge) System: Mac AirThe Issue: For the past year, I have consistently used Adobe Bridge as my primary hub, opening files via Camera Raw. However, following this week’s updates, Bridge displays an error message stating I do not have a "qualifying product" to use Camera Raw.Attempted Troubleshooting:I have followed all standard procedures (reinstalling, clearing cache). I tested a trial of Photoshop, and the Camera Raw plugin worked immediately. Upon canceling the trial, the plugin stopped working again. As a Lightroom Classic subscriber, I should have a licensed version of the Camera Raw engine, yet the Bridge integration is failing to recognize it.

Hi all, I posted this in the Photoshop forum but it was suggested i post it here.Hoping I can get some help/advice here. I’m running the latest photoshop /camera Raw on my windows 10 PC. My GPU is Nvidia geforce 1660super, 32 GB ram. If I open a raw file from bridge into camera raw I’m getting errors when using the sliders in the masking section. The errors are “runtime” or GPU has encountered a problem and will be turned off for the remainder of the session (or words to that effect). So, i thought my GPU was not powerful enough. However...I installed Lightroom Classic and I have no issues with the AI masking. As Lightroom and camera raw have the same engine (I believe) how come I’m not getting the errors that I’m getting in Camera raw? Chat GPT states Lightroom handles GPU more effectively...but this makes no sense to me. Thanks in advance.

On selected Windows configurations, the use of depth range masks, especially in conjunction with using them in presets, causes error messages that do not occur when using other mask types. When you hover over a preset containing a depth range mask, an error message appears saying that the GPU produced an error and has been deactivated due to the error.Sample configuration:Camera RAW 18.3.1.2580 Windows 11 NVIDIA GTX 1050 with 4 GB VRAMFor Mac, everything works fine. In Windows, there seems to be the need for some code optimization. Does anyone know when this can be fixed?
Als ik vanuit Bridge Camera Raw open en na bewerking de foto in Photoshop wil openen blijkt de open-knop verdwenen zijn. Hoe kan ik dat repareren? Ik heb de nieuwste updates en werk op een Mac Studio 2If I open Camera Raw from Bridge and want to open the photo in Photoshop after editing, the open button appears to be gone. How can I fix this? I have the latest updates and am working on a Mac Studio 2.
In ACR 18.13.1, the histogram curves and RGB values aren't showing up. Everything works fine in ACR 18130. I haven't changed any settings. I've attached an image.
The following video is a demo of the CPU usage of the latest version of Adobe Denoise AI on Windows 11. There is something strange in that Adobe Camera Raw runs the CPU in the high +90% for a long time after all the Denoise work is done. If you have ACR Version 17 with Technology Preview enabled, please run a similar test and report if you see the same strange CPU usage. With the introduction of Ananmorphic lens adjustments, the panel has been redesigned/reordered yet again. I have not and will not ever use anamorphic lenses and I have to now retrain my brain where the Geometry area is. Even if I could move the anamorphic options, that would be great, but I can’t. In a perfect world I’d hide them completely because they’re useless to me. Moving the cursor a little farther on screen isn’t the end of the world but with as much time as I spend doing the same thing, it’s annoying as hell to have it change all of the sudden for a feature I don’t need and cannot hide.
Mac mini m4 24gb, Sequoia 15.5, OCR 18.3- masking failing in several ways, seems like memory leak. reinstalled ps/act, no change. works for Sony raws.
