Hi everyone,     I try to install Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 7 64-bit Operating System. I downloaded the installer, everything all right until the installation progress reaches 73% when I receive an error: Insufficient user privileges to install application. I tried everything...uninstall the current version, change the permissons from C:\ProgramData, run the installer as administrator, etc. I tried another installer from Adobe and I receive the following error: A required file (C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe:5) could not be written due to insufficient permissions. Hi,After visiting a music site to listen, not download, the site player did not work so I left.  Seconds later, two page-sized pop-ups appeared:  one for some kind of porn game and the other with an Adobe Flash security alert suggesting an update download. MPBrOSX 10.8.3Adobe Flash Player Version 11.7.700.169Tried to install newest version of flash player when prompted.Flash installer says that Safari is open and it can not continue, so I check my tasks and Safari is not open. I open safari and then close it with CMD+Q to ensure all instances are closed. This does not work.Restart my computer to ensure that safari isn't open. Attempt installation again with fresh restart. Flash installer says that Safari is open and it can not continue.Can not install newest version of Flash, nor can I locate information pertaining to this issue. Any help is appreciated (assuming that it's not a problem with the latest installer which will be remedied shortly).Thanks

Hi, I have submitted the request to be able to distribute Adobe Flash Player to my company however I haven't had a response. Not even to deny. I have tried it again with a different email address etc but still no response. I urgently need to roll out the new version as it is flagging as a vulnerability on our security scans. Today(2016-12-13),a lot of users come to report that they can not login to the game when they use google chrome.I saw that the flash player automatic update to 24.0.0.186 in the Chrome's plugins list. And when I test my game app in chrome, I can not login to the socket server.I received the securityError. But my game run in IE is OK.The version of flash player in my IE is   23.0.0.207. Why chrome update to higher version?Why it can not connect to my server?How can I deal with the problem?

The current distribution page shows version 24.0.0.194, but the links themselves download 24.0.0.186. Did the page inadvertently get updated before the actual update releases?

Hi I used Windows 10,, I usually use Internet Explorer. First I get pop up asking permission, unless you give permission they keep sending it as soon as I denied. That just to start In the beginning when asked about downloading and I checked ask before downloading. Then I started getting pop ups from my Properties. Also the I keep getting pop ups about putting very game I play in Club Pogo I get the pop up to save in my favorites. I always cancel. Then it starts with my printer. It has been knocked off line 3 times now. I won't begin to let you know the paper they have wasted. Many other things have been happening but I just want to get this mess cleared up. I do not download games, I do not save any thing.

Using Windows 10 with Edge and have latest updated Flash Player - 24,0,0,186 installed.   Computer fully updated and is less than 12 months old.System working fine till the latest urgent security update on 19 Dec 16, - Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1607 (for x64-based Systems) (KB3209498) - and now can not get NFL Gamepass to work - (I know the season has just ended)... But it cost me a lot of money to buy this.  If I delete the security update the Gamepass works just fine.Then the computer automatically downloads it again as its a security update..... and the whole process is repeated again and again.To explain what happens - I go to NFL Gamepass as normal via Edge IE - log in and select a game to watch - the new window opens up and the screen stays blank and nothing happens.If I remove the update - it works normally and after selecting the game required - the new screen opens up and a small window inside says "initializing" and a small b

    From couple of days when i'm trying to open up few common pages like facebook, youtube etc I get redirected to this pageI tried many of the steps mentioned in other threads, checked out whether my chrome is out of date or flash player plugin is out of date but none are the case.Also unchecked the hardware acceleration box from the chrome settings still doesn't work, when i click on the link get.adobe.com and try to download this is what shows up. Kindly find the crash log attached.

I use a website that uses Flash, and the videos haven't loaded for two or three days.Also, the "The Hill" website (http://thehill.com/video/in-the-news/284665-pathways-to-prevention-continuing-the-conversation) plays sound but not the video.  The Hill seems to use a variety of players.Most other websites seem to play Flash just fine.Checking the Flash website, it tells me I'm up to date and flash is running properly (the picture of the tree and clouds).When I go to the Adobe website and check globals settings, it all looks ok until I get to "Website Privacy settings Panel."  There it kind of goes crazy, looks like it rapidly reloading frames, and then gives me this message:"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"No other tabs are open in Chrome.Using Chrome/Mac Book Pro 10.10.5, although it doesn't work in Safari either.Thanks.

I'm having some difficulties embedding a swf in my webpage. I've embedded a few successfully, but the one I am having trouble with has linked MP4s.Within my site the swf is stored in the same folder as the 8 linked video files. The format is mixed flash game/video. The swf displays fine initially, but the button that launches my first video never seems to call that mp4. Years ago I found a solution but it seems to no longer work and I'm out of practice. Any recommendations?   Thank you.

I have Windows 10 with Google Chrome as my browser and just started having problems using my Wacom Bamboo tablet pen as mouse to move the cursor on a website (WGT.com)  golf game that uses Flash Player( using 24 version) update. This just became a problem 2-3 weeks ago, prior to that it all worked fine. I did not change any of my settings but Chrome and Windows does make automatic updates. My laptop mouse works fine on WGT but I prefer using the pen tablet as the mouse because it is a lot more accurate.  I tried using Firefox and Edge as browsers but it didn't help.  Any suggestions  ?

Been having this problem for a few days now. Some web browser game ( http://www.aq.com/play-now/  ) I've been playing in before stops loading flash games and when I try to check what's wrong using ctlrl+shift+i, I get this error:    Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT.  Another browser game (Naruto Online: Official Naruto MMORPG Game  ) even states that the adobe flash player I'm using is a lower version than 11.4 and prompts me to update, I tried to update it just in case but the same thing occurs. Same goes with some sites when I try to watch some videos, the video doesn't load but there are no error message not until i check using ctlrl+shift+i and that's when I'll see the error same as above and some sites even gives an error: Could not load plugins: File not found. Some other errors found but only for when I try to load videos like ( Download Kimi no Na wa Episode 1 ) using inspect: Failed to load resource: net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVE

I have a problem that has been frustrating me for some time.On certain websites, my flash content will not load on any browser (regardless of extensions being disabled, re-enabled, and the browsers being re-installed).Take the TSN video for example:Video - TSNThis content works fine from my work computer, but on my home computer, it doesn't load anything. Just a blank space where the video player should go. I have tried disabling and re-enabling hardware acceleration. I've also made sure to allow the flash player to save information to this computer in the flash settings in the cotnrol panel, as I've seen recommended in other help threads.I also thought it may be an issue with my video card, but I upgraded from a ATI 7950HD to a Geforce 1070 GTX and it made no difference.Here are my specs:Intel i7 3770kIntel dz77ga-70k motherboard32GB RamGeforce 1070 GTXWindows 10 ProPlease help me diagnose this and let me know if you need more information.

I am using windows10,when ı deleted browser history , it has started to give update error.first giving error says that at least 20 version of flash player required, then shows blank white page.when ı checked version of flash, it seems last version(24.0.186).most of flash sites working just one or two site game sites doesnot. firefox, edge, chrome, opera has this issue.ı tried remove chrome, remove all flashes (npapi,ppapi) then again setup,disable-enable from plugins settings, cleaning flash cache,deleting pepperflash.dll but nothing worked.what should ı do now?[Moved from non-technical Forum Lounge to specific Program forum... My Acer Chrome now will not play videos as screen says "couldn't load plugin." When I try to load Adobe Flash Player it says it's already there. What should I do?

I am using Win 10 ver 1607 (OS Build 14393.576) on a Surface Pro 4 and have downloaded the latest flash player 24,0,0,186 for use with Firefox 50.1.0.  I am trying to download a file from the O2 website which uses Flash and keep getting the following error "You don't have permission to save in this location" - see attached screenshot.  I have no trouble downloading other files to this location and it is ONLY when I have to use Flash that I have the download error.  Help would be appreciated in how to fix the problem as I have tried uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling, using a registry cleaner etc but to no avail.  Thanks.[Moved by moderator to the Using Flash Player Forum]
