Flash Player (read-only)

I am still running Mac OSX 10.8.5 on my MacBook Pro due to several software programs I'm still using that aren't supported past that point. I'm getting the messages about Flash not working in my browser now, I'm on Firefox 48.0.2. I looked at the Flash Player update and it says it requires Mac OSx 10.9 and later. I'm not sure what will happen with Flash if I try and install the newest version anyway. Flash Player will still run right now - I have Flash 22.0.0.192. I don't want to try and update it and then lose it completely.

I have tried installing the new adobe flash player on my macbook.  The installation keeps stopping at 90% and then after a few minutes tells me that it cannot complete the installation.  I uninstalled the previous version of adobe and tried reinstalling it didn't work.  I've updated my OS X system to see if that would help, still no change.

I keep getting a message that I need to adjust my apple security settings. It only won't work on Safari. Chrome is fine, how do I get Safari to work with flash?I have removed malbytes and addstopplus, thinking they were the cause.regards O

Dear Forum,I am using a MacBook Pro with macOS Sierra and my browser is Firefox V. 49. My Adobe Flash Player version is Adobe Flash Player - Shockwave Flash 23.0 r 0V. 23.0.0.185.I regularly check (every 2-3days) that my Adobe Flash Player is up to date. I do this using Firefox Tools- Add-ons and then check that all plug-ins are up to date. If Flash Player is vulnerable, I immediately use the Adobe Flash dmg to update my Flash Player.Following my update to the latest version of Shockwave Flash, I start receiving Adobe Notifications that my Flash Player is out of date. These notifications interrupt my work 6 to 10 times per day.I do not understand why Adobe Flash Player is sending me these messages or how to make them stop. I have not attempted to allow another update using the notice and dmg if my Flash Player is up to date. I also select that I wish to receive notices before updating. I do not allow automatic updates and I have never selected that I not be sent any notifications from

my Licence is approved since 11/10 but i don´t get the email.I checked all folders. Also the Spam folder.But there is no email.Please send it again.

Whenever I try to watch Hulu or use an online photo editor or try to do many other things i get the Error "Couldn't load plugin". if anyone knows hoe to fix this it would be much appreciated.

A little disappointed that support is not recognizing that current "fixes" are not resolving the current "couldn't load plugins", Flash crashes.  I tried all the tips from Adobe and from Google Chrome...to enable/unblock/update/pepper, etc. and none of these are resolutions to the problem.  And I see a great many new posts reflecting the same problem.  I uninstalled/reinstalled my Chrome browser...and the problem seems to be gone...for now...but from reading these posts I am rather expecting another crash.  I've been using Chrome and Flash on same computer for 20 months with no probs...this is a new issue and should be addressed as such.

Was happily using chrome browser, w/flash plugin enabled, on my HP Pavilion 20.310, Windows 10 update from 8.1...for months...then suddenly began getting "Couldn't load Plugin" on FB games, then on Wild Tangent games, then on every page requiring Flash plugin.  Running Windows 10 with all updates, Google Chrome Browser w/all updates.  Steps I took to fix/troubleshoot:1.  did the About:plugins...disabled, then enabled flash plugin, closed and restarted browser.  No fix2. did System Reset on Windows 10, no fix3. did Firewall check on Windows 10 to add Flash to allowed exception - BUT...Flash appearing as "stopped" and unable to click to Add.4. uninstalled Wild Tangent game app...re-installed but w/o Flash no graphics, so re-uninstalled, currently uninstalled.5. Did "clean boot", then normal restart.  No fix.I am thinking I might have to uninstall Google Chrome browser, and reinstall, but not looking forward to losing bookmarks, hist. ect,WHAT am I missing? 

So when I go to click update flash player, it takes me to the page and the install now big yellow button at the bottom of the screen appears for about 2 seconds and before I have a chance to click it, it disaperes and says, 'Note: Your antivirus software must allow you to install software.' I have disabled all antivirus software I have and still no luck. I am running Mac OSX 10.11.4. This also happened when I tried to install Adobe for the first time on this machine so its a regular occurrencePlease could someone provide me with a direct link download? Cheer

Hello,When we try to use the microphone (with or without the camera active) in Flash on a Chromebook, the noise levels are very high. As a temporary fix, we can go to the Settings and change the mic level in any direction, or check the "Reduce Echo" box, and it will reduce the background noise level... sometimes for that session, sometimes for about 30 seconds, or sometimes not at all... It seems like a strange glitch.It has become a big issue though, as many of our students and teachers need this to do online homework, and it is so loud and crackly that you can't really make out what is being said. This ONLY happens when recording via Flash on these devices.For reference, we are using Lenovo 11e Chromebooks.Please Help!Thank You,Kevin

I've just followed the usual update process forced by an Adobe update to Flash Player. I use English UK on a Win10 PC. The downloaded file name is: flashplayer23au_ha_install.exe Last week I had a problem with installing Adobe Reader - I opened the new install to find Cyrillic Ukrainian which I'm sorry to admit I didn't understand. Of course, I thought I'd made a mistake and did the whole thing again with the same result. Then I had to properly uninstall and find an English Language version. For some reason, I'd been forced / automatically download: adobe readerdc_uk_xa_install.exe which is not the correct application, at all. So I was wary and checked the Flash Player download filename. It has 'au_ha' in the name. I'm only guessing that this is Australian (or Austrian). I started again on the Adobe website and found another version of the update file: flashplayer23_xa_install.exe (note the substitution of 'au_ha' by 'xa'. I went over this issue on the phone with an Apple Support person to make sure my computer was working correctly and that I downloaded the Flash player correctly, and after about an hour of troubleshooting and trying Flash Player on Firefox, Safari, AND Chrome, I still can't watch anything on HBOGo because I get a prompt to update Flash player even though I just installed it. Flash Player (FP) 17 or 18 installation failed.Tried multiple times. Installer stops at 5%. Says "This installation failed. Get support." A link goes back to the regular FP Help page. Confirmed that FP is not installed on computer. Reinstalled OSX10.10.4 on my Mac mini but that did not fix problem. Tried Firefox+Safari.What else can I try? Is there a software substitute for Flash Player?  Many websites including Fidelity say I need Flash Player.  I have tried all of Adobe's suggestions and am desperately hoping someone may have other options?  Anyone?
