Flash Player (read-only)

While using my Outlook email, I received the following message at the top of my toolbar... "Firefox has prevented the outdated plubin 'Adobe Flash' from running on https://outlook.live.com." So I tried to update Adobe Flash on my Windows 10 and received the following message from Adobe, "Flash Player is integrated with Microsoft Edge in Windows 10"  So why does my Foxfire browser say it is preventing the outdated plugin "Adobe Flash" from running on my Outlook email? Firefox is giving me the option to either continue blocking or allow. I don't know what to do, HELP!

Hi everybody,I encounter now problem to run FlashPlayer update exe file on my old PC : absolutely nothing appends when launched, either when cliking or using launching from XP Starting menu.OS is Win XP SP2, Firefox is ver.43xx. I neither already had this issue using older FP versions, nor now with other exe files that can be still launched normally.This began with FP update ver.21. : last month, launcher "flashplayer21_ha_install.exe" (1 166 Ko) didn't start at all :  no hourglass, absolutely nothing append. In other hand, all other applications continued to be launched / run correctly.After reading more on Adobe website, this was easily solved by downloading the full installer "install_flash_player.exe" (19 475 Ko) that started normally.Fine, I had a solution even I didn't understood all... Hi Kratika,I have tested it, and it has a hughe showstopper:Since its release this weekend, browsers that have upgraded FlashPlayer to that version all showpitch black artefacts in my 3d flash games. I've verified this for several windows systems (with different brands ofgraphics cards), Windows7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and 3 browsers: Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox.The conclusion is unanimous: With previous versions of FlashPlayer, all works fine. I have never had this problem before.  I have the same Apple I.D. as I've always had.  I presume that my username is my full name which appears on my desktop, top right.  So I assume that I have two names: (1)  my Apple I.D. (used in the App Store) and (2) my user name which is the name that pops up in the Adobe Update box.  It asks for my password. I tried proceeding with the Adobe update installation with my username and  my correct password in the box.  It wiggles and does not allow me to proceed.  Next I tried typing in my Apple I.D. and my password and again it wiggles and does not let me proceed.  To the best of my knowledge I have only ever had one password and it was updated over the past year as required by Apple.  It has always worked before.  Where do I go from here? 

OS X 10.11.5. Hello, I have recently been dealing with this issue while trying to install Firefox and Adobe Flash. I've asking the Apple people if they have a solution. We've tried some things but to no avail so far. So I thought I would try Adobe. In regards to Flash- I downloaded the .dmg file, clicked on it and got Invalid argument pop-up. We just haven't been able to figure it out. Any ideas?

I didn't want to install flash, but I had to. Then, it added cleaners and other nefarious software. This happened before with Flash. I had to get on the phone with Apple and have the viruses removed. I may have to reformat my computer.I am sick of this, and think Adobe should be held accountable.I am prepared to sue and hope others do so, too. This is the ONLY major software company that pulls this kind of shit.

I am using a iMac running OS 10.11.5.  Firefox won't run Youtube without installing v22.  I have downloaded it and clicked to install.  When it gets to 53% it fails.What might be wrong.Cherie St. Pierre

I just got a new Windows 10 computer, and for some reason, Flash isn't working properly. Any flash file on any website (viewed in the latest version of Firefox) won't be properly centered, offset up and to the left. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash, I've tried updating my graphics drivers, I've tried changing Flash settings... I have no idea what's causing this, or what I could possibly do to fix it.

okay. so i go to download adobe flash player onto my computer like any normal person would. when i installed it it didnt let me on so i thought it was a mistake on my behalve. while doing that i got angrier and angrier that none could relate or understand my problem of not being able to find it once i dowloaded it. so then i called adobe support and they just sent me here, and worst of all' i could hardly understand anything she said becaus of her india accent.so i hoped someone here can help me.

This add-on is dated 6/14 which corresponds to the onset of this issue. When enabled it causes pages to stop completely on some sites. Can't cancel the page without going to taskmaster and shut down IE.  2 weeks, 2 calls to Microsoft and 3 hrs on the phone with them has not helped. Disabling this add-on seems to cure the issue but then of course some pages won't function. Someone out there must have the definitive answer ..I hope.

I have tried all troubleshooting techniques for installing flash player on my Mac. I still can not update it. V.10 or later it wants me to update to. Hello.We are trying to update a bunch of PC with latest version of active X for IE using the .exe distribution install_flash_player_22_active_x.exeThis is done via a .bat file when the user logs in to his Windows Session with following command:\\afg.corp\netlogon\Flash\install_flash_player_22_active_x.exe -install >> %TEMP%\Flash_install_exe_22.logWe test the ERRORLEVEL and I would say over 50% of the times we get an error number 1040 and nothing is installed. This happens repeatedly.The redirected output does not generate the log file mentioned above but I imagine that is due to the fact that it is a completely silent installation.Any help will be appreciated. I'm running Windows Vista on a Dual Celeron 32 bit, using Firefox and Opera.After downloading the install I click on the file to see nothing happens.I check the problem page and it suggests the security certificates are not compatible and to go to Microsoft and install a patch.I go to Microsoft, I click on the appropriate x86 machine patch, to be told that the patch is not for my machine.Thanks for any help. I am trying to install Adobe Flash Payer on my Mac running el capitan.  Installer asks for a password, which I have reset, when attempting to use this new password Adobe will not accept it.  My usual browser is Safari and can use Google Chrome.  HELP?Thanks  Ed.

I am using Macbook Pro 10.11.5 and downloading Flash for Safari and Firefox. I am able to download the .dmg file but after I choose my download method the downloader stops at 47% and doesn't go any further.What could be the issue? ThanksQuoc
