It’s very frustrating that you cannot save the Create Merged Document Dialog settings in Indesign. I frequently use Indesign to create tags or labels for school teams where I use the same design, but the names, year and some other information change each year. Having to set the column or row spacing each time as well as setting for single or multiple is a huge drag. If I forget it or forget the measurements, then I can waste labels. This also doesn’t allow me to share the template with anyone else on the fly that might have the design such as the printer. It makes it a very manual or not intuitive process. We should be able to save it like a Paragraphs Style, etc. so we can save various settings for different layout designs and / or templates that we use very, very often.Thank you!
Scrolling through the library in grid mode can be tedious when you have to reach the next batch of pictures. But some people still prefer to scroll through than to reach the folder tree to narrow down the set of pictures. So please, for these people, could you provide a way to skip series of pictures based on :import batches OR day of capture OR hand inserted “chapter markers”.And provide a set of shortcuts for that (jump-scroll / insert chapter marker) !Thank you !
How can hide this label? it annoys me when I have to display the waveform at the beginning (timeline). Attention I don't want to hide the name of the audio resource, but the label that indicates the audio channel or L R (Can.1, Can.2, L R) see image:Tanks for reply.
Premiere Pro nests (as well as AE comps) have a very big drawback when you have to create lots of them - they are not unique on the timeline. Usually when you need to create a clip with an effect or some kind of animation, like by position or scale, but you don’t want to fiddle with the different sizes of the media, you just make a nest, add all the effects and animations to it (on the “outside level”) and then just change the inner media. The problem with that is that Premiere Pro treats every nest on your timeline as a copy of the one that is automatically created in the project bin, so if you copy one nest 3 times and change the inner media in one of them it will change in the rest to. To solve this problem you have to manually duplicate the nest in the project bin and then place it to the timeline as a copy. This works in smaller projects but when you have tens and hundreds of replaceable nests like this you may go mad and get lost in your project.Make Unique Nest featureWhat I suggest is adding a checkbox in the Nest right-click menu called Make Unique. Upon clicking this checkbox you will automatically convert the currently selected nest into a duplicate both in the timeline and in the project bin.
So I made this plugin with Claude; it organizes layers based on the context of the document.Currently it’s super consistent, but only works in English. I tried it on different setups/ documents and it goes 95% of the way, better than a complete mess for sure. The logic is a weighted scoring system that analyzes layer context. Eg: a layer is named “texture x” it assumes it is a texture but not confirms, then if it has a blending mode applied it scores even higher and so on.I plan on releasing the releasing the full logic on GitHub, to get people to work on it; see how it can be improved. The project overview is: HereAdobe has deeper access to layer data and could take this further, especially with AI for recognition beyond the original scoring logic.Demo here:
While editing, there are steps when I don't need to see some tracks but still need them running. It would be great if I can hide the tracks I'm not using right now like after effects.I could make multiple tracks and move them up(video) or down(audio) and make the timeline small, but if the project is too long, I feel it's kind of risky. It would be great if there is a hide icon right next to the 'toggle track output' icon ps. My account isn't subscribed, but I work with my company's account. I thought it wouldn't be appropriate to write things with my companies account. plz don't think I'm a guy who grumbles without buying things 🥺
Premiere Pro's timeline gets really cluttered with scrollbars when you have a lot of video or audio tracks, which is a pain for big projects. I think it would be a game-changer if they implemented a timeline style like Media Composer's. In Avid, the window expands to fit the tracks without forcing a scrollbar, keeping everything in one view. We should obviously still be able to zoom and resize track heights, but the adaptive window would be much better.
Would be nice if we could adjust the “safe zones” in the program monitor. Right now it's just for tv zones. But we all know social media is way bigger. Please make the safe zones adjustable …. for different platforms like instagram reel/ post , YouTube etc...
I would like the history panel snapshot to remain visible at the top at all times. Currently when the panel gets full, you have to scroll back to get the snapshots visible.
Since many third-party AI captioning and transcription tools currently outperform Premiere Pro’s built-in captions, I would greatly appreciate either a significant improvement to the quality and accuracy of captions and subtitles within Premiere Pro, or native integration with leading third-party captioning tools (such as Captions).Currently, having to export a video just to add captions in a separate application is inconvenient and disrupts the editing workflow. Improving or expanding captioning capabilities directly within Premiere Pro would save time and greatly enhance usability.
I have been trying to figure out how to change the color of the menu background (Please see image)I have set my Windows 10 to dark theme, and I can't find what option to change it. Is it through Windows or is it within Premiere Pro?Thank you in advance. This section in particular: Title edited by Mod
IMPROVE THE IMAGE QUALITY AS IT IS OR GIVE OPTION LOW TO HIGH RESOLUTION WHILE DOWNLOADING
Now that the mobile Creative Cloud app is gone, is there any way to get Media Encoder to send a notification to your phone when all items have finished encoding? Bizarrely, the desktop app still has a settings panel for Notifications and instructs you to "download the Creative Cloud mobile app". Thanks.
In the new mask tools I found a problem for me, when I want to add multiple masks in batch.Every time a mask is added, the tool will automatically change to the selection tool.It would be great to have an option to change this behavior and keep the mask tool active. Why would that be great? When I have multiple areas to blur or highlight or whatever, it’s not very efficient that the tool switches automatically. This behavior could be a quality of life feature but it shouldn’t be default in my opinion. Also no other tool behaves like this, adding to the confusion when using it for the first time.
I need background noise removed and to be able to hear the whispering in video
If 5 images were taken in succession, and are extremely similar - it is a pain to choose. If you could select say the eye and tell lightroom to find the image which has the sharpest eye - that would be cool. This could be paired with duplicate image functionality, or face detection somehow
Lightroom Mobile currently only offers the rule of thirds as a composition guide. It would be really helpful to have additional guides, such as the golden ratio, golden spiral, diagonals, triangles and other composition overlays similar to what’s available in the desktop version.Having these options on mobile would make composing, cropping and fine-tuning images much easier, especially for photographers who edit primarily on their phones or tablets. Adding parity with the desktop tools would greatly improve the mobile editing experience.
There are swathes of posts back to 2018 in the community forum about people getting caught out in Adobe applications where Hindi digits are sprang upon them in new documents; where their application language is set to e.g. English; as well as the ‘English with Arabic Support’ language.Simply search the community for the phrase ‘hindi digits’ or ‘numbers showing as symbols’ and observe the amount of users caught out.In most cases, it would make sense to disable Hindi digits by default when the application language used does not these digits at all.
Is no one else significantly disappointed in Premiere's sync feature? I never have any success with multicam sequences nor is it the workflow i prefer, and having to put each clip on its own track to use the sync feature, regardless of being the same source is utterly tedious and unnecessary. The Sync tools in premiere are unreliable and out dated. Pluraleyes frequently steps up to sync things that premiere misses, and now the pluraleyes plugin no longer works in premiere. If syncing footage (a very very basic staple of creating pro video) isnt addressed very soon i will be forced to move to a competitor software that does have modern syncing tools. TLDR: Fix the awful outdated sync tool. its kind of important. pluraleyes is 100% more accurate. it is possible.
