Hello everyone! I have been working in Premiere for decades. And I suggest that we come up with something with the design of the program. After version CS6, there was a lot of extra space that is not used in any way.For example, look at how it was in CS6 and how it is used now Let's say if I don't use a microphone and I need to remove the icon, I can't do it, even in manual mode.If I remove the unused space that I marked with red frames, working with the timeline will become even better and more comfortable.💡And another wish. I remember in CS6, when there were a lot of video clips on the timeline, previews were displayed on all videos and you could see which clip was better to move to a particular part of the timeline, but in new versions (for a long time now) this option has disappeared and previews are no longer displayed when the timeline size is reduced. This does not affect the computer's memory. In CS6 I used an older computer than now.
I belive the IOS version of Photoshop should include a brush that does not automatically appy anti-aliasing. The pencil tool on desktop is a good example, or simply the ability to turn off the spray of semi-transparent pixels that hoarde around the edges of my every brushstroke. Be it through a checkbox or a true "100% Hardness". All my work has been with aliased lines, meaning that I downloaded the app only to find out it was funtionally useless to me. I knew not all features would be accesable on mobile, but the pencil? I implore you to consider adding this age-old feature to mobile so I can enjoy creating in Photoshop on the go!!
I shoot a lot of group photos and inevitably someone has their eyes closed or moved the head, etc etc etc. Please use AI to take a face/head/shoulders from one photo and transfer it to another photo seamlessly inserting it in the group photo. This would save working photographers tons of time from doing this manually. Ideally, AI could search 2,3,4+ images shot during the same session and give us options of what might be the best head replacement from an image.
Hello Adobe Team,I would like to strongly request an automatic "Watch Folder" feature in Premiere Pro. When users add new media files (video, audio, or still images) to a designated folder on their hard drive, Premiere should automatically import them into the corresponding bin in the project, keeping the project in sync without manual re-importing.Hello Adobe Team,I would like to strongly request an automatic watch-folder feature in Premiere Pro.Currently, when new footage is added to a folder on disk, the bins in Premiere do not update automatically; we have to manually import or refresh in the Media Browser, which is cumbersome. A built-in watch folder system would allow users to designate a monitored folder, similar to third-party plugins like Watchtower. New files would be automatically synchronized into the project, with options to merge image sequences and other advanced settings. This feature would be extremely helpful for documentary work, long recording sessions, and collaborative projects, greatly improving workflow efficiency. I hope the Premiere Pro team considers adding this functionality natively.Thank you!
I really like this and will start using it... I'm trying to figure out what is the best way forward ai deck generation where I feed it a Title and a few bullet points for about 10 slides and it creates a really nice stylized flow and dynamic layout similar to when I license Adobe Stock and place the text as needed. So I am thinking Image Gen + Page Weight + UI Experience in one from text prompts...
We’re an enterprise user integrating Adobe Firefly Services into an automated asset generation pipeline (NestJS backend + async job orchestration). Current Firefly APIs (v3 image generation & related endpoints) produce only raster outputs, while the Firefly web experience already supports “Text to vector” with downloadable SVG. We request official API support for native vector (SVG) generation to achieve parity and unlock scalable programmatic creative automation.
When exporting multiple files, we can batch change the location but not the file names. When having multiple exports for different resolutions or ratios, dynamic naming using placehoders would be great. This could be possible by using placeholders directly in the sequence name (e.g. Sequence-1_%SeqName%) which gets replaces on export (maybe also through a command "replace wildcards in project") or during export with naming presets that can be applied. On naming conflicts, these exports could be grayed out with a warning symbol, still allowing manual changes. Placeholders that would be great are: Sequence nameResolutionAspect RatioFrame rateFrame count/Durationany (custom) Metadata fieldCustom prefix/suffix Especially batch exports would benefit from this.
I would like Premiere to render clips automatically when my computer is idle. Maybe with some priority settings.
Hello, The transcript option doesn't have the language Hinglish where the spoken word is hindi and the script is in English. Also, it is an amalgamation of Hindi and English and editors have to use multiple AI tools to get desired results. This feature will highly benefit creators in India.
Hello community,Hope you’re all doing well! I was wondering if anyone knows (I’ve already tried to look it up) whether there’s an option in Premiere to add a shortcut for navigating between folders, similar to how you can do it on Apple computers with "Command + Up/Down Arrow". I find that option super useful and quick to jump from one folder to another without having to click multiple times, as I currently do in Premiere when navigating through folders (videos, audio, graphics, etc.).Does anyone know if this is possible? It could save a ton of time by the end of the year. Thank you very much,Jose
First, I’d like to say thanks for the recent updates! The focus on performance, stability, and small long-overdue improvements has really made a difference. The UI feels smoother, and it’s great to see more transparency around the development process. That said, as a daily Premiere Pro user (and freelancer who often works across different teams and clients), I’ve collected a few requests over the past months that I think would improve workflow and performance even further: Background LoadingDon’t always load every sequence in the background. If I only have one sequence open, performance shouldn’t be bogged down by other sequences I have in a project.Graph EditorIntroduce a more advanced graph editor, again similar to After Effects, for better animation control. Sequence ScalingAllow easy scaling up a sequence while maintaining all proportions, similar to how it works in After Effects. SVG SupportProper support for .svg files in Premiere Pro. Even if real rasterization is needed under the hood, they shouldn’t look extremely low quality. Lumetri Vignette RotationAdd the ability to rotate the vignette inside Lumetri, especially needed for vertical (9x16) projects. Text Editing Mode PerformanceWorking in Text Editing Mode often slows down overall performance significantly, so it's not very useful currently. Subtitles Linked to AudioLet us link audio and subtitles, so when voice over clips are moved or extended, the captions follow automatically. “Playhead Follows Selection” BehaviorWith this feature enabled, please prevent the playhead from jumping to a new clip while I’m moving things around or working in another window. It's a constant thing that happens all the time, especially when keyframing. Frame.io Account SwitchingMake it easier to switch between multiple Frame.io accounts. Freelancers often work with several studios/clients, and the current switching process in not very fast. Disk Space Error HandlingInstead of infinite error messages when the drive is full, simply allow saving and exiting safely. Optional / Bonus:A one-click way to end a song and fade it out with a Reverb smoothly (like Remix, but for ending a song with a stinger). Example: YouTube link
I was just wondering when the Animated Zoom functionality is going to return to the Microsoft Surface Pro? It worked great in Version 28, but in these newer updates it's not available anymore, saying there's no compatible GPU. Will it be coming back soon?
Please allow us to turn off the thicker artboard border. It's distracting and unneccesary when working on single page documents. Thanks.
It would be extremely useful to be able to keyframe the controls in Premiere Pro for a MOGRT (Motion Graphic Template) created in After FX. I create a template in AFX, add it to CC libraries, I can import this into Premiere and adjust the controls, but I can't keyframe them. This would take the power of MOGRT's to a whole new level.I have extensively documented the process I'm trying to do here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/255599
The Shape Feather Mask value remains the same when the resolution is increased. I have added 2 screenshots. There was no such issue in previous versions. It started after the latest updates and is still the same. In the screenshots I added, I have two shape layers at a resolution of 512x384. The feather value of these layers remains the same when the resolution is increased to bigger size. (1440x1080) I increase the resolution using Image Size. I checked the settings there, tinkered with them, but nothing changed. It's always the same. Scale Styles is selected in the settings. As I said, this problem never happened before. It probably started after version 2025. I'm not entirely sure. I'm using PS version 26.10.0 My system: Macbook Pro Apple M1 Max - 32GB Ram MacOS: Sequoia 15.6.1
It is rather common for people to post on the forums about "known issues" ... why isn't there a link to the "known Issues" web page in Premiere's menu system? Probably on the Help menu list. It would save a LOT of forum time!
Every time there is an app update; on my desktop, the desktop icon is also updated to the exact same icon that has always been there and it moves it from where I placed it to the top left corner of my desktop. How about if the icon changes it gets updated and if it doesn't change, LEAVE IT ALONE! This seems like a small issue but it is very frustrating to deal with 10 times a week!
I had this idea for photshop but it would may be helpful in firefly as well. Something that could leverage the power of AI that would be game changing and useful ,would be the ability to take A photo and automatically composite all the elements into layers, even to go as far as filling in the areas you dont see.So for example imagine a picture of a woman walking in front of a city with cars and buildings. AI could seperate the woman into the top layer, and the city/cars/ect into another layer and fill in the area where the woman was so if you move the woman layer there are no building gaps anymore. Maybe you could select how many composite layers you want to generate or maybe hand select a single element you wish seperate and composite for you to fill in the layers below. This is also useful for editing elements easier and work more freely.AI Video already sort of does this, and you could do this manually which is time consuming but instead we are just taking the same technology and using AIs' compositing abilities in a useful way directly inside a photo editior like photoshop.
Hola.
