When working with Creative Cloud Libraries, folders are generated in the following locationsFor windows: [Local WIndows Drive]:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Creative Cloud Libraries\LIBSFor MacOS: [Username]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Creative Cloud Libraries/LIBSAll files in the Library are downloaded to the local folder, not just the ones you work with.At the time of writing, these are not movable, they are not creative cloud files and do not follow the preferences when moving your "Creative Cloud Files" folder. When working in an org, these libraries can grow to a large volume (300GB+)If these folders could be set in preferences to be moved to a different location (like an external drive, network drive, or cloud drive) that could help mitigate storage issues on laptops and small storage PCs
I get that 20 years ago hard drives weren't the quickest and there was a limited choice in codecs so it made sense to playback from RAM. But now we all have SSDs and DNxHR exists I don't get why AE has not been re-written to playback straight from a hard drive rather than moving it into RAM first. It would be great for AE to playback from disk with a choice of codec and bit depth dependent on a users needs and system capability, much in the way that Resolve does with smart cache (see pic). Uncompressed I gather would be a strain on most systems but this is overkill anyway, certainly for playback - I challenge anyone to point out any differences between uncompressed and DNxHR HQ and if people wanted to keep working uncompressed then the option could always be there to playback from RAM but for me and I would assume many others 10bit DNx would be fine. This will mean longer timelines and smoother playback as AE isn't having to move disk cache to RAM for stuff further up the timeline when playing back.
Hi there, I've had various problems creating masks using Subject, Sky, Landscapes, and more on Lightroom Mobile on Mac, and it won't export. It tells me that the masks need to be updated, and there's NO OPTION to update the mask. Manually rebuilding masks is painstaking and I'd really prefer for the program to recompute things and I'd make minor tweaks. Please fix this in the next update! Thank you. 🙂 Details: macOS 15.4.1 Adobe Lightroom 8.4 (Mobile)
Hi there,Just a small request - can we please have the option in Encoder to 'Import into Project' We have this functionality within Premiere, but not in Encoder and I'm not sure why.Would be handy.Thanks,Matty
In the Generative Fill workflow, Photoshop always shows the Enhance Detail button—even when it can’t actually add detail. After clicking, I often get the message “Variation is too small to enhance.” Could you: Hide the button whenever enhancement isn’t possible, or Leave the button visible but add a small red indicator to show when detail can be enhanced? Either approach would save a click and avoid confusion
What I would like to see - and is hopefully easy to program - is the facility to collapse and expand similar actions in the HIstory panel of the Develop module. For instance, if I have made several consequative brush strokes, it would make viewing the History panel easier, if I could collapse the series of Brush Strokes.
When a layer is already selected, it's easy to navigate the layer stack with Cmd-Up or Cmd-Down (or Ctrl-Up/Down on Windows). However, when no layers are selected, those keyboard shortcuts have no effect, and the user has to switch over to the mouse to select one or more layers before being able to return to navigating via shortcuts. It would he helpful if, when no layers are selected, Cmd-Up selected the top-most layer and Cmd-Down selected the bottom-most layer.
I, along with many other userers of PP, are really unhappy with the removal of the grid tool/effect. I've read that there are really clunky ways to create a gird. This is not accpetable. Please replace or add to the grid tool. We're paying a lot of money for monthly subscriptions. Many threads realting to this issue have been locked which is not accpetable. PLEASE PUT THE GRID BACK IN THE EFFECTS OPTIONS.
My company photographs antique books everyday. We do 80-200 images per day where we need to "Select Subject" the seemingly simple rectangular shape of a book to put it on a false white BG. However, the selections aren't perfect enough to batch/automate. Yes, we sometimes use the new Mask tool in Bridge, but it doesn't always work. Yes, we've tried diff color paper back drops to improve the contrast/selection sensing. Still annoying, we end up hand refining the simple selection of a book. Every page sometimes. I imagine it can't sense our objects because "Select Subject" was trained for humans/landscapes? This could be a good improvement for Product Photographers? Perhaps you guys could expand your AI work to create a "Select *AI Command*" ? That way we could give the AI clues on what we need it to see/select in the image? Ex. "Select *Separate the cream colored book with dark brown edges from the white paper backdrop" Let's make product photograpy easier, VOTE THIS POST, if you agree!
In the latest version we are left with Darkest, Dark or Light UI themes In older versions we could dial in the exact grade of grey that suited, or we could apply a 'hack' through the console options. Can we bring this back? The new settings are a massive oversight. Darkest and Dark are too dark, Light is too light!
Hello Adobe team,I'm requesting a desperately needed feature: the ability to COMPLETELY DISABLE the crosshair on the Clone Stamp tool.I've been working with Photoshop for over 25 years, and every single day I'm forced to deal with this highly distracting, irritating alignment cursor that severely disrupts my professional workflow.I understand the crosshair is useful for alignment — but it shouldn't be mandatory all the time. Giving users the choice to customize or entirely hide it would be an easy implementation that would solve a long-standing pain for many professionals.Please consider this seriously. It's genuinely frustrating that after so many Photoshop versions, there is still no option to remove or customize this ridiculously intrusive crosshair.Thank you!
I would like the option to vertically align text within a text box. Currently you can only do horizontal alignment. This is a feature in numerous other design programs and web apps. Cavalry has this feature for example(image attached), and you can also vertically align in Premiere Pro. Why is this important? If I am setting up templates or Mogrts that have text boxes where the text needs to be centered on screen, if the text drops down another line then it throws the vertical alignment off. The anchor point does not stay centered. Follow up request. Allow text to scale down to fit inside a text box. So if the content exceeds the space allowed, rather than clip off text it dynamically reduces the font size of the text. Again, other design software have this feature.
When a clip is selected, after some seconds, Premiere shows its duration.Please do the same for selected gaps. In general: Treat gaps like clips where possible (e.g. make it possible to replace a gap with a clip).
After decades of collecting images and trying to organize, my students need a built-in Bridge feature to Find Duplicates within a folder and its subfolders.Once found, having options to compare, skip, delete, etc, would be great. This would solve a problem without having to use another app.
I'm unable to find the number of images in an Album. Correction: the number of pictures in an album appears at the bottom after scrolling to the last thumbnail. (This is a bug; it should be displayed next to the Album name.) This is valuable to me because I want to see the number of images in an album when the album name is displayed. {Moved to Ideas by moderator}
Hi, i was wondering if it was possible to make a LUFS-Meter (Loudness Radar or Audio Meters) available to integrate as a window on the main surface. Just like the db peak meter the we have already, that doesn't really help to measure the the average loudness over time. While producing, I'm clicking super often on the plug-in in the mixer section to make the LUFS-Meter visible. Is there any workaround to make this happen already? Thank you so much in advance. Best wishes Christian Weber
Hello. I would like to request an additional update of the shortcut key to adobe. As far as I know, there are no shortcuts and settings for extensions at the moment. I would like to request an update on the shortcut key related to extensions from Premiere pro.
hat's an important clarification! In older versions of Premiere Pro, the FX badges would change color (yellow, green, purple, etc.) based on the type of effect applied or changes made in the Effect Controls panel. However, the FX badges in Premiere Pro 2025 now use a simplified design with white lettering on a gray background, and they do not change color based on the effect applied.so need to visit effect control for all the clips for 2 hours video is hectic task . pls do update as the previous versions
I am looking for a shortcut for the new denoise Function in Lightroom Classic (no DNG intermediate step anymore necessary) - it would be a game changer on a button of the Loupdeck+ !!!
