Adobe Team,I’d love to see an iPhone and iPad version of Audition to support audio recording and light editing in field. Perhaps this app could interface with some of the multitrack digital recorders on the market or Adobe could release its own awesome control surface for their apps similar to LoupeDeck.
Is there a shortcut to create space between clips at the same time, so you can enlarge them, without having to stack them on the layers, I have a shortcut that I set up that closes the gaps, but I can't find it to open the gaps
When using the Remix feature in Adobe Premiere Pro, the Essential Sound panel automatically opens every time. While I understand the intention behind this, it can disrupt my workflow, especially when I don’t need to make additional adjustments in that panel since it pushes everything else away.It would be great to have an option to disable the automatic opening of the Essential Sound panel during Remix operations.
What if there was an effect similar to "Metadata & Timecode Burn-In" that auto-populated a slate at the beginning of a sequence for export? Some metadata that might be helpful to auto-populate would include:- Project Name- Sequence Name- TRT- Date of exportIt'd also be nice to be able to easily include graphic elements like logos.
I want a shortcut I can use in the Timeline panel to remove whatever marker the playhead is on, whether the marker is on a clip or on the sequence. I know I can edit a marker (either with the Edit Marker shortcut or just by pressing the default M on a marker) and then press Delete, but that's a 2- or 3-step process. I know I can remove a selected marker, but it seems that's only when I'm in the Markers Panel. There's a shortcut for removing all markers, but not a single one at the playhead. Thank you for your consideration.
Hello Everyone! A little context, I take photos regulary of vehicles in front of the same background but they just rotate for different shots, I usually apply the same settings to create the same style and look for the business on social media, to easily repeat this process I have a preset for my base image settings and presets for my masks I usually apply but I wish there was a better way to automate this workflow and styling of masking shown bellow. Mask Creation Workflow: Create a mask of just the vehicle using Subject AI Detect, then refine the AI mask by using add and subtract brushes > Copy and Invert the mask to create a background mask > Apply gradient mask to bottom of the image > 2x Copy the inverted background mask and create a gradient subtract for each All Masks then have their adjustment presets applied with some fine tunning here and there. When you create an inverted copy of a mask it simply carries over the data such as Subject AI and Brush refinements to the new mask but there seems to be no way to sync this data to the original mask as a dependancy, For example the vehicle mask could be a "Parent" mask and the Inverted masks "child" masks. I would love to be able to just simply load a preset containing my mask workflow go into the mask for the vehicle and refine it with add and subtract brushes and have it update the child masks assocated with the parent vehicle mask. This would also elimenate the issue of when I finish my image but notice I improperly refined the vehicle mask with brushes forcing me then to have to delete my masks except for the vehicle mask and start over from there again.
I'm hoping that the Adobe developers are monitoring this forum, because it would be a huge help to me, if there were a lasso tool (magnetic and polygonal) in Lightroom, to select areas for broad adjustments, such as those available with the adjustment brush. Sometimes, it's just too tedious to use brush strokes, and a lasso would make selecting the area to be affected so much easier.
Hello all, I would like to submit a feature request for lightroom > store offline option I want to save 2and 2+ starred photos on mycomputer you have "store a copy of all "* options for caching I want to limit this to 2 and + starts I am sure a lot of people would benefit from ruled based custom caching. Thanks, Onur
When editing short-term reels or other projects with captions, I often still need to make additional adjustments after subtitles have been added. However, there is currently no option to always link captions/subtitles to their corresponding video or audio tracks so that I always have to move the subtitles afterwards. It would be immensely helpful to have a feature that allows syncing captions/subtitles with video or audio tracks, similar to how audio and video can be linked together. This would ensure that any edits—such as trimming or repositioning clips—keep captions perfectly aligned with their associated content, saving time and avoiding errors.
I would like to be able to copy text from a photo, as can be done in iOS Photos app on the iPhone since 2022. This would be a huge help in Lightroom Classic for finding photos that contain text, such as travel photos of information signs.
Allow Photoshop to manipulate objects in a 3 dimensional space and then convert the image back into a 2 dimensional space using AI and user input. Allow Photoshop AI to generate a 3d model and objects including light sources and distant light points from the image and allow users to turn the image along the z axis so that they can modify/change objects in 3d space and then convert the image back to 2d space or export an image of the 3d space based on user input and AI. This would allow someone to drag an arm up and out or behind their back etc. This would also mean the AI has to be intelligent enough tomove an arm, leg, or head around by a joint and respect 3d object boundaries. This would be an amazing tool that let you reshoot an entire image and do anything your imagination can come up with. The AI should be smart enough to wrap the "back" of a 3d object in a texture based on AI data and information in the original image.
This is a request for Lightroom Classic, but would be useful across the Adobe ecosystem. I would appreciate it if I could search. If I opened a Lightroom catalog, or Bridge for example and did a search for "red", and only images with red would appear. This would help me with my catalog of jewelry photos. If I asked to show me images that contain the color "plumb", and only images that contain that would come up. For extra points, had a limitation slider that would allow me to contract or expand what might be considered plumb. For extra points: ask me if I'd like to tag each of those images with the tag "plumb" and then suggest others that are close to it. Sounds like a good use for AI to keep it busy in the background, adding this metadata.
Right Now in symettry mode, any lasso tool selection you make is not reflected on the other side. This would be handy when making patterns that require lasso section and painting within them to reflect in the projected symmetries.
Putting in a request for Adobe to invest some time in to creating a native and robust Layer Renaming tool. It's long overdue. Enough with the AI features please and lets get back to implementing foundational tools that improve workflow. While scripts exist, they're tedious to find and must be updated manually by the users. Not great. A simple example of where a Layer Renaming tool would be very useful is in removing the included file extension in the layer name when we Load Files in to Photoshop Layers from Bridge. File exensions often aren't wanted in the layer name. A tool in PS that would eliminate this would be great. Again, this is all doable using 3rd party scripts but it should be a native feature of PS.
[For the sake of clarity, I'm on a Windows system, wherein I have two keys marked Enter; the one in the middle of the keyboard (aka Return on Mac), and a second, smaller Enter on the bottom-right, as part of the NumPad. To avoid confusion, I will refer to this central Enter key as "Return," and to NumPad Enter as such.] TL;DR - would it be possible for Ctrl + Return to universally commit text edits? And/or could/should Numpad Enter be updated to also commit text edits, as it does when writing in the expression editor? --- When entering type into a text layer, you're able to press Ctrl + Return to commit the text edit, returning the selection to the layer itself. (Return, Alt + Return and Shift + Return all create line breaks.)Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to commit when editing that same Source Text input in the Essential Graphics panel, or when editing this text (as an Essential Property) in the Properties Panel. In either panel, pressing Return, Ctrl + Return or Shift + Return all create line breaks, while Alt + Return does nothing. In either panel, pressing Ctrl or Shift + Numpad Enter create line breaks, while both Numpad Enter or Alt + Numpad Enter do nothing. While obviously not the same, you're able to simply press Return to commit edits to property names in the Essential Graphics panel.
Hello,How can I automatically move the playhead to the start of the clip selected, so that I can select clips and edit the correct texts, play back the clip and so on. As a point of reference, this work flawlessly in Avid Pro Tools. Thanks!
Hello! Back in 2007, when I used Avid, I used to be able to prep for color sessions and export clean, beautiful EDLS....In 2024, is this still not the case for Premiere Pro? I would love to know how if so. Thank you!
How it works now:You have multiple elements (assets, comps, etc.) in Project Window. On the right side of this window you have a slider to scroll / navigate from the top of the list to the bottom since you can't see all the elements at once. Now, if you press Enter and rename any of the elements in your Project Window for some mysterious reason the slider will reposition itself. How it could (should) work:After changing the name of any element in the Project Window the slider doesn't move.Reason:It's counterproductive as it is now. It slows down the workflow. When I want to change the name of another element in Project Window that is lower in the list, due to the automatic slider scroll I can't see it anymore and I have to manually scroll down again to see it. Every time I change the name the slider will adjust its position to the top, hiding other elements on the bottom. Please fix it by removing the "autoslide" of the slider in the Project Window. If on the other hand it works right now as designed, would someone please explain how is this convenient for users?Thank you.Platform: Windows 10
Would be cool to have the active timeline show somehow in the projects panel - maybe an eyeball that appears or give the filename in the projects panel italics... something to highlight the job in hand.
The crop tool in Adobe Photoshop has the option to set the aspect ratio of cropping. In Premiere Pro, however, no other aspect ratios outside 16:9 are not available. When creating a new sequence, the aspect ratio is actually calculated in the UI, but you can't create a new sequence based on aspect ratio. Most people end up using PNG mattes, but this is not optimal when using non-16:9 open gate material etc. You could have an aspect ratio dropdown next to frame size fields, with the usual aspect ratios included, along with "Custom". When you then manually enter a number to either of the frame size fields, the value for other field is calculated automatically. Yes, you can use a calculator, Google or memorize the frame sizes, but a dropdown would make it much more painless. What you have now:What would be optimal:
Currently I see nothing like in game when set material roughness in Designer. That "panorama" default background HDRI produces so dull highlight spot for the sun being only 16 degree high I wonder how anyone could call it Phisycally based. I know we could check in iRay to get more adequate look but why we couldn't just have same "ultra" settings like in PAinter. I constantly do darker roughnes than necessary due to so dull preview in 3d pane.
I wanted to inclued captions in a silent video, but I was really frustrated with the lack of options for the text in the captions and graphics panel. You can choose text color and background color and thats it. If you want the background to be transparent the option is hidden way at the bottom and then you only get one level of transparency, you cannot change the percentage of it at all, and it is barely visable. The opaque option is to harsh for the video I'm working on but the transparent option is to faint to be able to see the text on most clips. I need to have the control to change it to my preference. Why is this not an option anymore? It was in previous versions of premeire pro.
Just a thought that it could be helpful if a simple histogram of the underlying image/assets sat atop or alongside your gradient map so you can quickly spot where most of the luminance values lie and space out your gradient accordingly. Attached a quick visual mockup.
I am cuting and pasting parts of my image for puppet work for Adobe CH Animator. I cannot find the 'paste in place' option in the web version of Photoshop. It looks like there is a way in desktop of Photshop, according to these docs Move, Copy, and Delete - help doc Create and manage layer groups - help doc
