I use the transcription's "delete all" function, and it actually works for portions that are not words. but I wish there were a way to avoid deleting the laughters.. Laughters are important in podcasts and vlogs.
In 24 when you clicked new project you were shown a single screen where you could name your project, name your sequence, and choose your video files for import. Now in 25 you need the name the project first, and then youre shown the clip selection screen, WHY DID THIS HAVE TO CHANGE???Not only did they add another window and clicks for no reason, but they removed the ability to preview clips when naming your project. For someone who does content creation and may dump a dozen clips into a folder to make individual videos from later being able to see a preview, name your project and sequence all in the same pane is huge.
I have been successful in executing a script to Fit Image on Screen when Photoshop opens a file ... that is most of the time. The one time it does not work is when I have a brand new (typically Raw) file that I open with Camera Raw. When I am done manipulating the image in Camera Raw, I click the Open button to pass the new image to Photoshop. Keep in mind that Photoshop has never seen this file before. When Camera Raw passes the image to Photoshop, I assume that Photoshop creates a new document and then the user can process the image further. From what I have read online, Photoshop does not create an event that I can hook my script to via the Scripts Event Manager similar to what I can do with Open Document. If this is true, would you kindly create an event that I can hook to via the Scripts Event Manager when a document is created at the time Camera Raw passes the image to Photoshop.

I beg thee kind sirs...When genereating captions from a transcript, whenever a new caption falls within 15 frames (or so) of a cut point, please can the caption cut match the video cut? It's very distracting to have captions cut just before or after a video cut and I spend A LOT of my life shifting captions to land on cuts. We all do, as broacasters often request this too. Thank you!!!
title says it all. Yes, I have watch the video about deleting my media cache, moving video locations, Remuxing, changing file name to mts, and other things. I have done all those things and still getting this error. My videos are recorderd through OBS and are remuxed into MP4 so I really have no idea why i get this issue. The videos work fine on Davinci so idk why adobe cant
Zooming in and out in the Liquify workspace is a pain, because it uses the standard "non-scrubby" zoom method, which is outdated and clumsy to use. Basically all other workspaces support the scrubby zoom feature and it's very jarring when you think it would work in Liquify, only to do a Ctrl+Space+Drag and zoom in at 8000%, then spamming Ctrl+Minus to zoom out. It happens to me all the time and it drives me insane. Another thing about Liquify is the lack of Overscroll, which is another inconsistency between it and the other workspaces and makes working in it clumsier than it should be.
With windows it's very very annoying that the save-as option does not remember last export setting and path! please take a look to Illustrator, they got this right.
There seems to be three ways to use generative fill. But all are missing key elements. Is there a way to use generative workspace but control the pixel size of the final image? Or a way to use a composition reference image on the other generative fill options? It’s also weird you can’t see all the art styles together (via the "all" category) in generative workspace like you can in the other sections. But I can get around that. It just basically creates a treasure hunt aspect for no reason. Thank you.
In Photoshop, Illustrator, and inDesign, you can leave the text editor with the ESC key. In some instances, it even switches to the move tool simultaneously. Typography is such a huge part of motion graphics so having the ability to edit and move text around quickly is incredibly valuable. Right now, in AE, hitting ESC after editing a line of text undoes any changes. This is especially frustrating when I've spent time meticulously formatting and kerning characters and then all that work is gone in an instant. Command+Z doesn't bring it back! I'm aware that Command+Enter will keep changes made to a text layer, but Adobe has already built this muscle memory of pressing ESC in the other apps. And getting my left hand to hit Command+Enter is such an awkward motion (and I'm a lefty!!!).This probably falls under the request to have ESC as a custom hotkey, but I think it should be addressed regardless.
It would be very convenient if there was an option to map a mouse scrolling to moving one frame back or forward in the Timeline panel or make it a customizable feature
The AdobeCare twitter informed me there is no such thing and to post it as a request here, so, here we are. With the Photoshop CC 2019 update came a live preview of layer blending modes. While I appreciate this will help people who aren't entirely familiar with what each blend mode will do and aren't sure about which one they would rather use, for me this 'feature' is a huge problem. To get the simple part out of the way first, I'll just say that I have no use whatsoever for a preview of the layer blend modes. I know what each mode does, I know the results I'll get, I use the layer blend modes in very specific ways for very specific tasks and I've no need for a preview of the results. The more complicated part which needs more explanation is that I have a significant sensory disability which is not entirely unlike epilepsy. (It's not the same, but that's the quickest way to illustrate to you what I'm talking about.) When I pull up the layer blend mode menu now, due to the live preview, I'm assaulted by one of the more extreme blend modes right away and then am treated to a painful lightshow as I move to the layer blend mode I actually want. As a result, for the last couple of days when using Photoshop I've had to just close my eyes and pick the blend mode blindly; the effect of moving down the list of blend modes is that painful. So for the sake of my sanity (not needing the previews) and my physical health (not needing my eyes burnt out by a kaleidoscope of abstract colour and contrast), please add, as soon as humanly possible, an option to disable the layer blend mode live preview.
Why does Premiere still not have the above issues sorted? The Project Manager is known to be awful in the industry - and has been for years - yet it never improves? Still no ability to import OMFs and AAF only works on a convert to mono basis - why can it not just embed what is on the timeline? When there are last minute changes to 3TB projects which you don't have the rushes for and all of the above are not as useful as they could be, it just makes life more difficult than it needs to be.
Can you incorporate a "derustle" audio filter into premiere just like the one iZotope Rx 11 has? I cant find any current filters in premiere that really get the job done if someone is rubbing up against their microphone. The derustle feature in iZotope Rx 11 Audio Editor is phenominal. I would love to see Premiere incorporate something along those lines.
I'd like to see an added option for loopable music with the Remix tool. I think this feature would be used often, especially with people creating content for social media. I use the Remix tool often to shorten music for social media and would absolutely love to see a feature for looping a song, so when the clip reaches the end and then re-plays from the beginning the music sounds seamless.
Drag-and-drop import of MOGRTs really helps speed up my MOGRT testing workflow, but one quirk of Premiere Pro that creates friction is that drag-and-drop import ONLY works when the Browse tab of the Essential Graphics panel is visible. If, as often happens, the Edit panel is visible when I am trying to drag in a batch of MOGRTs to test, I then have to switch back from Windows Explorer to Premiere, bring the browse panel forward, go find my Explorer window again, then drag the .mogrt files into the panel. This can happen dozens of times in a session when doing iterative testing of MOGRTs built in AE, since the last action in Premiere before revising a MOGRT is usually editing the properties in the EG panel. If any tab of the Essential Graphics panel allowed the drag-and-drop import action, this workflow would be quite a bit less frustrating.
Hello Adobe, Why isn't there a link to launch the Firefly app right on the "All Apps" home page when I log into my Adobe account? This is frustrating not having an integrated way to launch Firefly when I log into my Adobe account. This seems like a missed opportunity for users, would be a great integration and doesn't make sense that it's not there. Thanks,Joe
I'd like to request the ability to select a percentage in the offset filter instead of just being limited to specifying a specific pixel amount to offset horizontally and/or vertically. Generally speaking, I pretty much only offset images by 50%, and it would be a lot easier to just select a percentage than to have to divide the total number of pixels by 2. Also, if the offset filter had the option to offset by percentage, then I would be able to record actions for it, which would speed up my workflow. Having to select the specific number of pixels I want to offset by prevents me recording actions because each different image size would require a different number of pixels in the offset filter.I'd greatly appreciate this feature being added. It would make using this filter less annoying, and faster to use. Thanks!
If I apply a track matte filter to a clip in premiere, the parameters make me choose what layer to apply the effect to (via a drop down that selects the layer). if that particular file moves to a new layer on the timeline, the track matte connection between the file is now essentially 'broken' or unlinked, and the image goes white and you have to go back to the parameters and tell it the new layer to look at (i.e. clip is now on track v6 instead of v4 for instance). and this can be a real pain in the butt when moving files around on your timeline. But in Adobe After Effects, if you take a file and parent it to a certain layer or assign it a track matte, you can you move that layer anywhere and the track matte stays in tact and isnt unlinked. Premiere shoud adopt this same technology.
Hi,As it is possible to change Y vs Z axis when importing a 3D model in Substance Viewer, could it be possible to add +/-X, -Y and -Z too? It's not possible to transform (translation/rotation) parts, but sometimes Axes are completely reversed and it should be convenient to be able to get the view in the right way. Many Thanks
Currently IDP initiated SSO workflow to Adobe is not supported in creative cloud or any adobe products. Having one place to access all your apps under your IDP makes accessing applications easier for end users. Currently Adobe only supports SP initiated SSO, so you have to go to the site in order to then sign in and access your needed resources. Whats strange, is we actually have to pay extra for SSO functionality, but, this doesnt encompass full functionality cause it can't be accessed fromour IDP. I would like to put in a feature request for IDP initiated SSO workflow for creative cloud and adobe SaaS products.
I very often modify clips later that have had Warp Stabilizer applied to them (especially when adding transitions to a sequence last). I then have to go back through very long sequences, perform an effects search, and manually click Analyze. It would be great if there was an "analyze all" button to analyze all effects in a sequence including Morph Cut. Thank you!
Need to add the ability to "fill with gradient" to the entire text (not to each individual letter). And also the ability to save the color and gradient for reuse in a project (or save to a library).
currently when creating a new sequence if you load a source into the source monitor, the available audio and video tracks are not displayed. So if you cut the clip into the timeline, currently you have to go back and delete the audio or video channels you don't want. Kind of ridiculous. Would make more sense if the tracks were visible in the timeline window so you can select them before doing the first edit... as they are after the first edit so you can select which tracks you want or don't want. See Avid Media Composer as example.
Hi Adobe, Masking in Camera raw and Lightroom is great, especially the possibility to combine selections (with +Add, -Substract). However, it has been my long time frustration of slow down performance of the application when combining/stacking complex masks based on several AI powered "obect select" or "select people", "select background" and similar. Feature request: please add possibility to "flatten", "merge selections", you name it, stacked selections into single masks. In UI ith can be next to "invert mask". In other words for instance instaed of: Mask1 +Select subject +Select object - Substract background +Select People -Substruct gradient ... etc merge mask!: Mask1 +Merged mask Save the planet from overheating by our PCs. Thank you
