Its possible this already exists and i'm just unware of it but sometimes you end up with a comp with many layers that no longer contribute to the final image, tests along the way etc - but sometimes hidden layers are used as masks etc, so it would be great if we have an option to "remove unused layers" similar to the remove unused footage option, to clean up the timeline

Problem: I have an almost full keybord workflow for culling photos. Where I slow down is when I have to check critical focus on my subjects face, i have to use my mouse and hunt around once zoomed in, or click and select on a face. Solution: I would love to leverage the face detection which is already running, and do a zoom view via a keyboard shortcut where I can see all my subjects faces at a specified zoom level. either as different boxes since there are seperate subjects or just zoom into the single face that is anywhere in the frame. I guess it would be "Zoom to face" Alternately, show focus peaking with a keyboard shortcut, to see what is in critical focus.
I can use voice control with my native iphone camera to take a photo by saying "tap take picture". I would like to be able to take a photo within lightroom mobile by a voice command as well. How to do this?
I need a tool to identify duplicate images across multiple collections. I'm looking for a software that can compare sets of photos and highlight: shared images, and unique images that only exist in one collection. This would function similarly to a 'Pathfinder tool' for image collections.
I love the new Core Tools Workspace. It's perfect for teaching beginners. I have a couple of things that I would like see improved. 1. I think the crop tool should go below all of the selection tools. The selection tools have always been the top tools and the crop tool is in the way between the lasso and object selection tool. 2. The ... for accessing the rest of the tools is weird. If I click on it I get a random tool that pops up - I should get access to all the tools. If I right click I get all of the tools and have to select eidt tool bar at the top. The funcionality needs a little work.
In a similar way Affinity supports OCIO it would be great if Adobe atleast kept up. The plugin someone has made does not work properly and is far from ideal, it requires LUTs to be made for each possible combination, its not fluid at all and the result is often incorrect. Full 32bit support is pretty vital in general for everything in PS Photoshop is the industry leader and has been for years but if you don't keep up with the times you will loose your user base.
I am constantly having to take 16:9 (3840x2160) footage and reframe for 9:16 (1080x1920) - it's a standard thing at this point - repurposing for social media. So if it's so common why does the auto frame feature not constrain to standard media sizes. I just re-framed a 16x9 sequence into vertical 9x16 and the dimensions are 1215x2160. So then I have to change sequence sizing and further adjust clips. Adobe can you give us 1080x1920 9x16 and 1080x1350 4x5 as standard for the reframe? Or a check box for "Common Dimensions" or something?
I'm a photographer specializing in portraits and men's physique, and I frequently have clients requesting enhanced definition for their abs, or even for me to add abs entirely. This process can be tedious, and generative AI could significantly streamline it. However, the moderation filters are incredibly sensitive! As a professional, I often retouch nude images, and I find it frustrating that Adobe's restrictive policies prevent me from using the tools I pay for. It feels overly conservative and short-sighted.What’s more, many of the images I retouch aren't even nudes, but generative fill tools still flag them for "community violations," which is ridiculous, given that the work I do on my personal computer is private and unrelated to any community guidelines.Just a thought.I’ve since switched to using Stable Diffusion for inpainting, and it does an AMAZING job, far surpassing Adobe—and it’s free. Adobe really needs to step up its game.
Hello. Please add the ability to assign shortcuts to the Project Configuration menu (Edit - Project Configuration...). Very often I have to use this menu. Shortcuts would speed up the work.
I'd love if we could switch Painter to nodes . I hate layers. Don't understand a thing in my own files just next day. All those anchors are nice but after 2-3 of them it turns into undecifirable mess. Doing anything procedural is such a pain in my ..... Easy in Designer , then never works as expected in Painter. All this sbsar exports adds just unnesassary extra layer of pain, returns errors in half cases while working just fine in Designer. Same as in Photoshop and Sampler . Never works basically untill you waste days debugging sbsar export. So please Adobe, bring Designer into Painter or other way around , usable brushes and projections into Designer . Bitmap and svg nodes in Designer are so outdated and unusable.
I would LOVE a "Save Incremental" option as I'm always versioning up project files. Anything like that on the roadmap?
Hi Y'all! I made all of my comment markers on the clips, but I want them to be on the top timeline area instead. I haven't found a way to move or copy the clip markers onto the top timeline area. Does anyone know a way to quickly move all of my clip markers up to the timeline? Thanks!
I have several projects that needs to be reskinned (same distribution of assets but different artwork). I normally duplicate an initial project to work on it and change the arwork, but sometimes, duplicated files are linked to the inistial project instead of the duplicated one. (Photoshop takes this linking as correct and doesnt show me a warning, so I need to check all linked layers individually. I would like to know if there is a list of all linked smart objects with its path (just like the initial window that usually warns you when a linked smart object is missing.), but this time I need to see a window like the one I attach but with all linked smart objects. Any help? thank you!
Currently the Select All commmand (Ctrl+A on Win) appears to always be sent to the timeline. I'd like to request that if the Layer Contents section of the Properties panel has focus, then the Select All command would target that section specifically, allowing us to quickly select all the shape layer contents for the selected layers. This would be a QoL upgrade when working with multiple shapes, or layers containing multiple shapes, speeding up workflow. The existing workflow is to select a shape or group, drag the scrollbar, then shift+click to select the last layer - not difficult, but every bit of workflow optimisation is appreciated! An example use case is wanting update the stroke cap for a whole bunch of layers at once for consistency. As a related request, adding marquee selection to the Layer Contents for making multiple selections would also be appreciated, as I think that there is currently no drag interaction in that panel. Cheers!
This would make life 1 million times easier.
Hi everyone! I wanted to share a quick and easy trick I’ve been using in Photoshop to remove backgrounds from images, especially when you want to keep fine details like hair or fur. Open the image in Photoshop.Go to Select > Select and Mask.Use the Quick Selection Tool to roughly select the object you want to keep.In the "Select and Mask" workspace, adjust the Edge Detection and use the Refine Edge Brush to clean up tricky areas (like hair).Once you’re happy with the selection, choose Output to: Layer Mask and hit OK. This method works great when you need to remove complex backgrounds but don’t want to lose important details. I hope this helps someone out!Feel free to share any other tips or tricks you use for background removal!
I have files going back to 2004. I also have many, many collections, which I prefer over keywords. Because the Collections panel is on the same side of the screen as the Folders panel, I find that I have to scroll constantly up and down, up and down, just to add images to various collections (some images are in 5 or 6 or more collections). This is terribly frustrating and time consuming. It has occured to me that if the Collections panel was on the right side of the screen, along with the Keyword panel, I would be able to reduce the amount of scrolling I have to do to add photos to their various collections, thereby saving considerable time.I realize this would be a major change, but I'd still love to see it, and I'd bet others would, too.
I believe that for many teams it would be very useful to have cc libraries support gradients swatches as it does other fill colors, especially now when gradients are trending. Also, if cc libraries can support short .mp4, .avi, and audio files, it would be so super helpful. For example, I'm creating a video for a brand and we always start/end the videos the same way or always use the same music, it would be great to simply drag it in from the library. Thank you!
After cutting up an audio clip, I'd like to have the system automatically "auto-match" all the newly created smaller audio clips. Similar to the auto transcription feature, that transcribes all clips that are placed onto the timeline, I'd also like the ability to have the system automatically auto-match all audio that's placed on the timeline. And everytime audio is cut up, the ability to have the system automatically auto-match it. Thanks!
Would lvoe a colorized waveform option in the Lumetri Scopes window. Can even call it Waveform (Color). DaVinci Resolve has it. It's very useful for colorizing in the highlights and shadows. Would love this feature.
Creating this post to unify past posts and have it for future people searching for this on google.https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/language-treanscript-to-croatia/idi-p/14258741https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-ideas/text-transcription-in-slavic-language-bosnian-croatian-serb/idi-p/13436278As I understood we need to have a number of upvotes for a mod to consider adding this feature to Premiere Pro.Actually, only Serbian or only Croatian would work because it's very similar. Linked posts have 1200+ views, there may be a chance to move this forward if you guys log in and upvote.3rd party tools are a hassle... Much more convinient to have it inside PP.Tags: balkan serbian croatian bosnian transcript speech to text captions subtitles adobe premiere pro
Previously, photoshop-beta had a function of choosing generation effects and both types of generation: generation of a picture from scratch and generation of specific areas. Currently, this feature is only available for full composition generation, which makes it difficult to create artwork using AI while maintaining a unified style.I would be happy if this function. also returned for generating selected sections of the composition, because then the amount of time spent on embedding elements into an already existing composition is significantly reduced. The process itself will become easier, more efficient and more pleasant. In addition, it directly affects the quality of generation and the relevance of the request. For example: AI does not understand what "plasticine" is when I need plasticine parts, even with the addition of a photo reference, it is difficult and stressful. But thanks to the inclusion of the "plasticine" + reference effect, AI would cope with this task much more easily. The same can be said about any specific materials: charcoal, watercolor, oil paints, etc.
Very often, when I add a Layer Style to a shape layer, I'll have to go into Advanced Blending to reduce the Fill Opacity.I think, by default, the Fill Opacity should be 0%. Even better, have a setting where the user can choose this behaviour.
