The new update of premiere pro locks the user into having to zoom in on the program monitor by using the mouse wheel instead of having it locked and zooming in and out with the scale drop down. My feature request is to please allow us to disable zooming with the mouse in the program monitor. In my opinion it would make more sense for the default behavior to be how the program monitor has acted up until this point - with zooming by selecting different scales. And the ability to enable mouse zooming as an option makes more sense to me.
It would be great if on the Mixdown dialog box, there was a check box something like this:[ ] Don't let effect tails increase track's durationCurrently, when you mix down a track, it may add a second or two to the end of the track to handle the tail of any effect, such as the decay in Reverb. For Radio (which is what we use Audition for) you need very exact, clean, tight edits. The extra duration that gets added from certain effects is a big problem. We get around it by using automation and cutting off the envelope for the effects a second or two before the track ends, but that is a lot of work when you're dealing with hundreds of tracks each week. It would just be great if we could check or uncheck a box to have the rail of any effects automatically cut off, so the duration stays the same.(You'll also see a lot of people on the forums very confused why the length of the mixed down track is larger than the track in the editor.)
I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Sponge tool in Photoshop. It would be incredibly useful if the Sponge tool could be updated to allow the ability to saturate or desaturate a specified color range, similar to the Hue/Saturation adjustment panel.Currently, the Hue/Saturation panel allows users to select specific color ranges such as Reds, Yellows, Greens, Cyans, Blues, and Magentas, and then adjust the saturation. This functionality is very powerful and precise.I propose that the Sponge tool includes a similar feature where users can choose a color range (e.g., Reds, Yellows, Greens, Cyans, Blues, and Magentas) and then use the Sponge tool to selectively saturate or desaturate those colors within an image. This would provide users with more control and precision when editing photos, especially in situations where specific colors need to be targeted without affecting the entire image.Thank you for considering this feature request.
This seems like a "no brainer" . . . I've taken the time to input a Caption in Apple Photos, that caption should be copied over to Lightroom upon Import. Apple Photos does not offer a Title field, but it has a Caption field which should automatically be copied over. I think it's obvious why it would be helpful to me—to save time!!—so that I don't need to re-input each caption!
Hello everyone, Hope your all doing good. From my time in premiere which I have used since 2015 and though my professional career. Since I left Film school back in 2022 which is almost 3 years ago now. I have noticed some stuff that really Bug me And I want I have some surgessions. I edit alot of youtube videos and Client projects such as interviews. 1. Remove previous cut points when ripple trim previous edit and next edit to playhead with J and L cuts I've noticed that since I edit with lots of J and L cuts in my edits that when I press Q on the Keyboard which is set to ripple trim previous edit to playhead it adds another cut; When I press Q or E for the same shortcut ripple trim next edit to playhead. and Means I have to cut the clip out which I find is annoying when your editing a interview and have a small extra clip. If you can remove that, I would be very thankful cause I have noticed this in many versions of premiere 2. Essential sound Panel in Essential editing Panel. When I am Usally editing the sound on my edit I can't scroll down to see which sound it is which Highly bugs me since I have to remove the panel bigger and then have to remove everything back to wear it was before. I dont have the biggest screen in the world. I'm usally editing on my laptop which has a 16 inch screen. And My suggestion is that you add a scroll wheel on the Essential sound Panel ON THE MAIN MENU! 3. Text based editing speed I've noticed that when ever I am using text based editing since I don't have the setting on for it to happen in the background, which I've noticed crashes my PC and makes my premiere unresponsive if I turn the setting on. When I add the clips to transcript it take almost up to 2 hours for them to all to transcipt or even 1 to transcript which I find is just way to long to wait just to edit Dialouge. It could just be my laptop cause it isn't the most powerful and was brought in 2016. But my suggession is that you can make it quicker for professionals that don't have the most powerful PC or laptop 4. Enhance Speech Don't working I love using the enhance speech feature which I have used since you introduced the AI podcast feature on the podcast website. I've noticed since you have added it to premiere that everysingle time I went to use it; that it just doesn't work at all and stays stuck at 0 sometimes goes to 1% and stays just there loading. This could be my laptop power again. But if you can fix it so it works on Lower end PCs that would help a ton.
I don't want to scroll these Photoshop's panels anymore. Yes it is at the very bottom of the screen, but there is no reason to make it scroll when my screen resolution is large enough for it to show them all. I am on MacOS. How can I fix it?
COME ON! Who uses less then 16 labels? I have projects where 64+ labels (Or maybe even the ability to just add as many or as few as we want ?!?!?!??!) would be absolutely Ideal. There isn't a single plugin that can solve this problem. and no, the answer is not always just to add more precomps! INCREASE THE NUMBER OF LABELS AFTER EFFECTS!!!! COME ON MAN THIS IS INSANE WHY LOCK US BEHIND 16 ????
Dear Adobe Team, could it be possible to integrate bin view presets and different timeline view presets into workspaces so they can be safed within custom workspaces. Depending on the workspace I would like to save a timeline view preset and bin view preset within a workspace. I want that feature so one could better focus on the work at hand by only clicking once a custom workspace keyboard shortcut without additionally dialing in bin view and timeline view presets. Would be more efficient. For professionals a straigt forward UI configuration should be the goal. That would'nt even conflict with the 'mousy-icon-fancied' beginners approach of the UI, but would justify the professional image Adobe is selling with Premiere Pro. Another thing that irritates me is that after a workspace change the selected window changes. Could be an option in preferences to check whenever you change a workspace the selected window (timeline for eksample) should be kept. Or every workspace has a predefined selected window that is safed within the workspace. Or maybe I missed something and it is possible? Advice would be most appreciated. If I come back to a workspace it resets my bin view to list view. Annoying. It is as far as I see it an inherited bug that sometimes accure. intel mac pro (2019) - OSX 12.7.5 - Premiere Pro 24.5.0
I really need the ability to see source clip label colours rather than the multicam group label colour when editing multi camera sequences. I often have footage from more than one night / performance synced together and need to be able to see quickly which night the shot is from and therefore whether the sync is cheated or not and whether to look out for continuity at the edit points.
I would love to have the devs create an "Effective ISO" metric that reflects not just the ISO at which an image was shot, but also the ISO with the added Exposure adjustment (E.g. an image shot at 1000 ISO but with +1 Exposure would have an Effective ISO of 2000 and with a +2 Exposure would have an Effective ISO of 4000.) This would be particularly useful with adaptive presets. For instance, I create adaptive noise reduction presets for 1000, 4000, and 10000 ISO, but because I sometimes under-expose (due to running around at events), I have to adjust my Exposure a few stops to compensate. When I do that, I then have to guess what noise reduction preset to add. I can't help but think that it would be awesome to have an "Effective ISO" metric that the adaptive presets to calibrate to rather than the "ISO As Shot." I think it would also be useful just to kind of know more intuitively how ISO is changing as Exposure adjustments are added.(Granted, the Effective ISO obviously changes if you adjust Highlights, Shadows, Whites, and Blacks, but even still, seems like there could be a way to thread that needle, particularly if base Exposure is what determines the Effective ISO and not the more fine-tuned adjustments.)Even better would be if those adaptive presets adjusted noise as the Exposure sliders were adjusted, but that seems like a much more onerous thing to code.
I Would love you to update that...
I have been using PS since 1993. I want an option with some of the new tool presets to not accept them during the upgrade process. As I have seen in the community boards, lots of people are having issues with the updates to the crop tool in PS 2024. The ratio preset cropping is a POS. If I wanted a ratio-specific crop, I can set that myself. Not only is the ratio crop garbage and I cannot adjust the image properly, the AI is stupid and doesn't recognize the true size of the image. Clearing the preset is not intuiative and should not be the default. The default should truly be standard cropping since the new AI toolbar doesn't allow you to clear the option but only the main toolbar. The additional keystokes to turn it off wastes my time for such a simple task as cropping. I've not sworn at PS this intensly since MX 2004.
My team is currently working in a massive Premiere Production, and it's peforming flawlessly. We have our Productions Folder structure set up to operate like a simple Kanban board, where Premiere Projects (by deliverable) move from one step of the process to the next by physically moving from one folder to the next. This works great at a small scale, but we're up to hundreds of projects, and it's getting difficult to sift through. What works:- Searching the Production in the search bar reveals the project that I'm looking for. I'm able to then open the project and operate on it in-place. The project also stays highlighted in the filtered Productions Panel. What's weird:- I can't pick up and move the project from within the filtered view. I can Move it to Trash, but I don't want to do that.- When I clear my search, the project is no longer highlighted in the Productions Panel, meaning I've lost it in the sea of files once again, and have to go looking for it based on the folder structure I found when searching. What would be nice:If I have found a project and opened it, I'd like to see a context menu option in the Project Panel, for "Reveal in Production". I would expect this to then find and select the Project within the Production Panel, just as Reveal in Project does for clips or sequences that are opened in the Timeline panel, to be revealed in their relevant Project.Let me know what you think!I don't know if I can edit this post, but if I can, I'll follow up with some redacted screenshots. Thank you for your consideration!
In addition to creating captions from Premiere's transcript, we should also be able to convert a transcript into sequence markers.Marking sequences with dialogue has been a very well known and powerful tool. However it has mostly always been done manually. The text panel got us close, but the connection between the text window and sequence window is not as tight/easy as the connection between the markers and the sequence panel. Clicking the arrow up/down is slow, the playhead will sometimes move mysteriously if I try and copy a part I want to use, etc; but markers work. The data is there, we just need to be able to convert it. There is a 3rd party tool that already does this, however it can be clunky and doesn't always work because of some scripting issues. In fact, they had AI transcription inside of Premiere first, but at this point Adobe should close the circle and provide the tools that made the other program so powerful. Currently I'm already placing markers after finding lines with text panel, why not skip that process and just give me the transcript as markers. Thanks!
I propose creating a tool (AI?) that would select or flag images that are blatantly undesirable. One of my least liked aspect of my workflow it culling through thousands of images to find the gems. It would be so helpful if Lightroom can select out those that I am highly unlikely to keep. Blurred images. Accidental shots of the ground or sky. People who have heads cut off. Etc.
Hello, I would like to propose a small improvement regarding the color picker and the OCIO implementation. We are currently having an issue where by default the color picker uses an inverse transform of the View and this is not artist-friendly at all. I believe instead it should simply use the "color_picking" role. Here is the proposal: If the "color_picking" role is declared in the OCIO config, then the "top colorspace menu" should read that. I believe this would be the correct implementation of this role.If the "color_picking" role is not declared in the OCIO config, the behaviour of this "top colorspace menu" can stay as it is. Does that make sense ? (I have attached an image for reference). Thanks !
i was using elements for years just starting using photoshop 2024 and wow its so much of better than elements only thing i want is a photo bin, photo bins makes it better because a having 10 or or photo open and i have to click on each one and that can be annoying so adding a photo bin on the side to the right to click on like layers and bruch sizes would me this editing be more organized.
Would be great to animate by Paragraph too!
1/ If Media Encoder is not installed,Composition > Add to AME Queue option should be grayed outbecause if you accidentally click on it, it generates 2 error messages. 2/ A new version is availableIf you click the Update button, it opens Creative Cloud Desktop, and then you can update the software. The only problem in Creative Cloud Desktop is that when you click on update, you are prompted to close After Effects to start the update. So, you have to exit Creative Cloud Desktop, return to After Effects to close it,and then go back to Creative Cloud Desktop to start the update. When you click the Update button from After Effects, you should be prompted to close After Effects automatically, and then be redirected to Creative Cloud Desktop to perform the update.
For the type of work I do in AE I find it extremely annoying and disorienting that each comp is stored with it's own settings when it comes to column widths and which ones are enabled. When using OCIO it is also very impractical that each comp has it's own saved setting for the viewer regarding view transform/display device and other settings. I'd love to see a user preference setting to completely lock/sync all comps to keep it all fixed and when it's changed anywhere it is updated on other comps as well. We could work much faster and more consistent that way. Comps that have the same duration could also be more easily compared because you'll know the timeline width is exactly the same.
In After Effects, Time Remapping is quite logical: set a keyframe in the clip, and tell what frame should show at that time - everything in between keyframes is interpolated accordingly. But, unfortunately, Premiere Pro messes with this principle: it kind of allows to set 'Speed' keyframes, which are not actually editable. Sure, Time Remapping can change speed, but the keyframing should be about, yes, Time. (Otherwise it should be called Speed Curve or whatever). So please, make it possible to do Time Remapping After Effects-style: keyframes that link a source frame (time) to a destination frame (time).
It's not a bad idea to have a "revert" button, but it nearly gives me a heart attack when I almost accidentally click it while I'm trying to click "Save All" which is right above it. Please put a little distance between these buttons. Thank you.
The variations pane is basic and slow. Allow us to select the variations we are interested in then export those to a contact sheet for review. Could also export to powerpoint!
I know everybody edits differently, but I would have thought having an in/out point in your sequence would have, in modern editing, meant you have specific part of your sequence you want to edit. Why would PP's new Export bar default to Entire Sequence every export? How can I change this back to what it was before?
