Illustrator (Beta)

Hello,I’m currently using Adobe Illustrator 29.9.14 (Beta) on Mac with English UI.Although this is the correct build where the Turntable feature should be available, I cannot see the Turntable button in the Control Bar or Properties panel, even when an object is selected.Interestingly, when I install Illustrator Beta in Korean language UI on another computer, the Turntable feature appears as expected. So it seems to be an account/language flag issue.Could you please confirm if Turntable is only enabled for certain regions or accounts, and if so, could you enable it for my account as well?Thank you.
Description:I am using Adobe Illustrator Beta on Windows ARM environment (Japanese locale). When I try to enter Japanese text vertically using the Vertical Type Tool, the characters are cut off and not displayed correctly. However, horizontal text input and Japanese input using the Type on a Path Tool work without any issues. Please investigate this problem with vertical Japanese text input in the ARM version.
When exporting all variations, it would be incredibly useful to name each exported layer within the "All Views Grid" to be notated degree to which they are rotated ("Subject 0, -45" "Subject 45, -120," etc.) This could be crucial in animation workflows. Thanks so much.-dang
Sometimes a panel will open so tall that even if you can drag the top of it to the top of your screen, you can't select the bottom edge so you can shorten it. There is a "Reset" option for your workspace, but I don't think Adobe should assume users know about it or have to resort to it. To compare, my Mac and Windows computers can detect available resolutions and refresh rates of external displays, so it would not be a stretch to assume that a desktop application can detect the user's display and correct accordingly.
In the initial release of this program available on the ARM processor for the Microsoft Surface Pro tablet, there was no difficulty using the tablet's pressure sensitivity while using the paintbrush tool. I seem to recall that this was version 29, though I am uncertain about the exact number. Unfortunately, I cannot access any version prior to 30 from CC. As I mentioned when I first discovered this was absent was the beginning of October. I posted about it in this forum and have not heard anything since. After upgrading to the current release, I am renewing this query in the hopes that either this will be addressed or at least I will be allowed to access the last release where this functionality still existed. As before, I have tested the tablet's pressure functionality in other programs (ConceptsApp and Fresco) and it works fine there. I would really like to be able to once again use the features of Illustrator on my Surface Pro.
Issue Summary:When attempting to use the “Pattern Generation” feature in Illustrator, the application force quits.Detailed Description:After entering a prompt and confirming the operation (the execution indicator appears), Illustrator suddenly crashes and closes automatically.
This is not unique to Illustrator Beta. When I create a new video 1080p file in Illustrator, two artboards are always created automatically, while only one artboard was selected to be created. Therefore, I always have to remember to erase the other artboard before I begin drawing. This is especially important now that AfterEffects seems to be looking at both Illustrator artboards (not just the top one anymore) and duplicates the layers when I import the Illustrator file to composition in AfterEffects. The additional layers are blank.
Hello everyone,Turntable is now live in Illustrator Beta (build 29.9.14 or later)!Turntable lets you “rotate” your 2D artwork to see it from different angles. If you’ve got a character, product, or object drawn in Illustrator, you can quickly generate front/side/back views without redrawing everything from scratch. Note: This is still Beta quality. Some of the tech behind it is pretty challenging, so expect rough edges here and there. But that’s why we’re bringing it to you early. We’d love to hear from you! Explore this fun feature and speak to us to be a part of the feature's future! Block time with us using the link provided below. Book Time with the team This link will expire on September 30, 2025. Book Now How to try it: Install the Beta → Open the Creative Cloud Desktop app → look under “Beta apps” → install Illustrator (Beta). Make sure you’re on 29.9.14 or later. Select your artwork (works best with clean, real-world vector art). Group you
Can you add a Time line window for turntable feature. it would be great to beable to render a quick clip of the turntable or be able to send the turntable asset to another adobe app for a quick render in substance stager or after effects.

Once you search for a color in Pantone Connect, switch back to working and then try to return to Pantone; it freezes the entire Pantone Connect space, preventing you from clicking anything or searching for another color.
I would like to share an idea that could be very useful for sublimation printing and garment printing companies. My suggestion is to add an auto-resizing feature for garments within Adobe Illustrator. For example, there could be an input option to specify the garment size (Small, Medium, Large, etc.), along with customizable size settings. After creating the desired printable design, the user could simply select the size—small, medium, or large—and the design would automatically resize proportionally before printing. This feature would be extremely valuable for printing businesses, especially since Adobe Illustrator works with vectors and ensures color accuracy. Adding an automated resizing function for different garment sizes would make the design-to-print workflow faster and more efficient. This is just a small mock-up idea from my mind, but I believe it can make a big difference for designers and printing professionals. Thank you very much. Alfie C. Tub
I just updated illustrator beta and it wont open and it says its damaged. So I uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch and got the same thing. MacOS Sequoia 15.6.1
Buenas, estoy usando la ultima version de Illustrator Beta - Ver 30.1 y al guardar los archivos me aparece el siguiente mensaje,.
I use linked images and smart objects to work non-distructively and update graphics easily, but recently, Illustrator doesn't seem to be placing images properly, causing problems with my work-flow. Even in Finder on MacOS Sequoia, when selecting an Illustrator file, the preview window shows some images hidden from the design. This affects Illustrator files in Photoshop and also Adobe After Effects as well. When saving an Illustrator file, I would love to see an options button as you do with InDesign (to avoid the next popup panel stage) and an option, rather than just a warning, about resolution to allow you to toggle raster effects on save instead of having to save, edit setting and then resave.
problem when trying to add shadows with gradient. not showing the compelete illustration.
Hi. Currently, adding a gradient to a pattern takes a lot of time and effort. Once the user has made a pattern, it will get saved in the swatches but the pattern has to be made into an object using the Expand command due to which it creates many layers of clipping path groups. Once the clipping path groups are ungrouped, then we can add a pattern to the group. Instead of all these steps, make it simpler to add the gradient directly to the pattern itself, which will save us all users a lot of time and effort. Thanks.
Hi, I'm experiencing a persistent issue with text rendering in the latest beta version of Adobe Illustrator. When working in the Illustrator Beta app, some of my text objects appear reversed or mirrored on the canvas or in the preview. Interestingly, when I double-click the text to edit it, the display corrects itself temporarily. However, once I export the file to PDF, the issue returns — the affected text appears flipped again in the exported PDF.Has anyone else experienced this issue in the Beta version? Is this a known bug or is there a workaround? I'd appreciate any insights or solutions.Thanks.
The cursor (Pen Tool icon) completely disappears as soon as it enters the artboard/canvas area. It reappears only when moved back over the panels or menu bar. No error message is displayed.
We could use a couple of simple variables about the file itself: file name, last saved date (path and extension as options), author's name or initials. And since I had to choose from a topic list that didn't really have to do with my idea, I picked "Print and publish," so maybe there is an option that a variable would show up when printed, kind of like a layer that has a print option.
Propose adding a new dropdown menu that displays available templates, including custom templates and default templates categorized by country or origin.
Hello, the amazing Adobe team!First of all, I would like to appreciate your efforts in improving Adobe Illustrator. I've been using it for some years now, and it has updated drastically since then. I would like to give an idea or suggestion for the file tabs in Illustrator. Problem: I save the file names based on the projects, and many times the names are very lengthy. When multiple files are open, it gets difficult to switch between the tabs. I have to move the cursor to the right-most for the context menu, then select the required tab. Suggestion/idea: How about we have horizontal scrolling for the opened file tabs? Just as we use the mouse wheel or trackpad gesture to scroll in the canvas area, we can have a similar effect for the tabs. When the cursor hovers over the file tabs, we should be able to scroll the tabs and quickly select the required one. This would really help us switch between the tabs and transfer content, especially when working with pre-ma
