Illustrator on the iPad

Hi,I am creating a mock-up for a mural that will end up 43'4"' by 8'8"' . What size can I start with in illustrator? What do you recomend. I  understand the print shop can enlarge to any size. This will be a vinyl transfer to wall. Urgent reply soon please? Thx

Illustrator for iPad keeps crashing no have the latest version of the iPad so I'm not sure why it keeps crashing. How can I fix this so I can use it for school? Thank you!

I'm looking for the arc tool in illustrator on my iPad Pro. Am I over looking it or are the tools limited on the iPad version? And if so why ? 

Having trouble typing on path on the iPad version. I have followed the instruction , created text , then shape using pencil tool, hen I highlight both text and shape. But the path option is not highlighted when I go to the T button on the right. what am I doing wrong? [ moved from Illustrator to Illustrator on the iPad forum by moderator ]  

I'm having a lot of issues with the adobe apps since getting my new iPad Air. None of the files from my computer seemed to transfer correctly and even when I add the files into creative cloud they don't show up. It's actually incredibly frustrating how I bought this to design on the move and the poor app design is ruining it. Can you please fix your sync and performance issues!?!? I am not the only experiencing this. 

I have a current updated subscription to illustrator but I can't get past the landing page. I already did everything people were suggesting in the forums. Updated my iPad software as well. I'm logged into the correct account. What is the work around to this - I can't even use something I paid for. Hope someone can help me because I need to use this for work. 

Illustrator for iPad is a mess. I can't use the paint brush tool for more than a minute before the app crashes and doesn't save my work. I've talked to multiple Adobe help line workers about how frustrating it is and none of them have given me a solution. I'm about to quit paying this much a month for something that doesn't even work. Anyone else having issues with this app on iPad??

I'm having trouble opening files in my google drive. Only 500 files appear. Is it normal???

Hi! I've been trying to add the Commissioner Variable font to my project (https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/commissioner-variable). I found it and was able to easily add it to my desktop projects; however, I don't find it on iPad. I am running the latest version of the Creative Cloud app. This is what I've tried so far:In the Creative Cloud iOS app, I went to the Fonts section, clicked on the search button, typed in "Comm", and hit enter. Four fonts show up: Comma Base, Commerce, Commuter Sans, and TT Commons Pro, but Commissioner does not show up. If I type in the full name, "Commissioner", it says "No resuslts available. We weren't able to find a match. Try searching by font name or foundry." I don't know what to try next... How can I use this font on my iPad? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Речь пойдет об иллюстраторе на айпад. Сложно работать с фигурами, почему-то при вращении объекта включается функция свободной трансформации. Это очень неудобно. В инструменте треугольник почему-то ограничение до 10 углов на фигуру, нету возможности сделать удобную остроугольную многоугольную звезду.

Всем добрый день, у меня возникли трудности с адаптацией на айпад. Дело в том что, что бы нарисовать мноугольник на ноутбуке, я могу в опциях увеличить количество углов в фигуре, либо же комбинацией клавиш. Как это можно сделать на айпад?

Hello I was editing a vector, but it got blocked. I have tried several options but I can't unlocked it. The symbol of the lock doesn't even appear, the only thing I can see when I try to select the vector is a blue square. Can someone help to unblock this vector? thank you all

I haven't been able to find this aywhere but on the desktop... How can I reorder my artboards for export? They seem to just be ordered in order of creation, and when I export I can choose which artboards to export, but not the order.

Hi all, I recently got and iPad and installed Illustrator as I have an account through school.the problem is that every time I go to open illustrator it opens but the side menu only half loads.ive fully updated the iPad so I don't know what the problem is. I NEED HELP URGENTLY!Thabkyou to anyone who helps its greatly appreciated.

I can place an Adobe Capture shape in Illustrator on the desktop, and it behaves as expected: one fill color that can be changed, no clipping masks or difficulty selecting. However, on the iPad, the same Capture shape is placed either as an image, or sometimes as paths that are grouped and inside clipping masks. When you try to select and change the fill color, it's not possible because of excess clipping masks. The only workaround is to place the shape in a desktop cloud document and open on the iPad, but shapes created in Adobe Capture should work everywhere - and they used to work on the iPad.

In trying to divide text so I can cut the text on my laser cutter in several pieces.  I've outlined my text but when I go to path finder the divide option is grayed out. Is there a different way to do this?

Hello, i have a problem with Adobe Illustrator on Ipad Pro. I created a logo with the vector tool and as i finished, i wanted to save it as a 400px x 400px and export it to PNG. The result was a blurred logo. It was useless for uploading it as a Twitter profile picture.I tried to export the logo to PSD and opened it with Photoshop on my Ipad Pro. First, it was blurred, too.Second, the size of the logo was suddenly liek 1800px x1850px.  The only way i can have the quality as in Illustrator is to export it to PDF.  Is there any solution? Thank you!

hi, im am having to use illustrator on my ipad and i was wonder if i bought a bluetooth mouse and key board for my ipad would that work in the ipad version of illustrator? (i'm required to use a mouse for this project and i have a chromebook so i can get the adobe software on my laptop)
