Hey guys, I can't seem to center this text frame in the middle of the white space in a matter of 1/2 clicks. So I have been creating a box as wide as the white space and align the text box with that wider box, and I can't help to think there might be a better option then what I have been doing.   <Title renamed by moderator>

How can I add a left spreadsheat to every one of my spreads?

I'm hoping someone can please help. Adobe team couldn't help me last time I spoke with them. I am having issues with my workspace display in Adobe Indesign and Illustrator.    The colors shown in the workspace are all extremely dark and is not reflecting accurate colors. I know the swatches are correct as they export correctly to a PDF -- However IN THE ACTUAL WORKSPACE, everything has a dark tint. This has been ongoing for 2 years and I still can't figure it out. Has anyone had this happen to them?    In the photo you can see the swatch colors selected vs. how they appear on the page. As you can imagine, this is extremely frustrating.  Technically the colors export correctly so I am stumped.      <Title renamed by Moderator>

Hello, I am making a product catalog which has hundreds of pages. On each page, there are one or several tables with prices. Is there a way to update the prices automatically from one Excel file (that has all the products) ?     <Title renamed by moderator>

Hallo zusammen, ich brauche bitte mal eure Hilfe bei einem Textfeld in InDesign. Ich möchte, dass das Textfeld am oberen Rand des schwarzen Feldes (grüne Linie) abgeschnitten wird.  Welche Möglichkeit habe ich, um das zu erreichen? Danke für eure Hilfe und beste Grüße,Sebastian

Bonjour, Je travail sur un document de 72 pages, soudainement certains blocs textes sont apparus vides !A priori ils ne le sont pas vraiement puisque en mode éditeur je vois bien le contenu...Et bizarrement ca ne le fait pas partout, certains blocs n'ont pas bougés... Je vous met en capture ma page avec les blocs vides, et la fenêtre éditeur. Comment faire pour que ces textes réapparaissent ?Par avance merci, c'est un gros document je commence à avoir la trouille de devoir reprendre tout ça à la main....

Hi all, We have users opening inD. pages in read-only mode (by mistake), but whenever they try to save the documents, then they realize they can't (unless they save it in another folder where they can read/write).The process is correct (in not saving the changes), but the issue is that users can work on documents for hours before they realize that they opened the pages on read-only. My questions are :- is there a way in inDesign to prevent any modification (text modification, placement, moving placeholders, etc.) to the document once it is in read-only ?- is it possible to display a popup message, big enough to be visible, or any visual alert, stating that the current document is in read-only (instead of the merely visible read-only title next to the document name) ? Thanks !

Looks like a bug to me?   Words collection for a Story - or Paragraph - that has ONLY Tables - is empty...

We have a document with a rectangle and an image in it. We tried to set clippingPath property of the image running the following script: var obj = app.activeDocument.allGraphics[0];obj.clippingPath.paths.add();obj.clippingPath.paths[0].pathType = 1668051812; //PathType.CLOSED_PATHobj.clippingPath.paths[0].entirePath = [[30.7,100.888888888889],[30.7,46],[84,40.7],[102.75,100.888888888889] Running the script we couldn't save the document and we had to close it loosing all changes. Trying to save it in the script we got: Error: Cannot save document because there are open transactions in process on the database.Please advice. We have to set clippingPath via a script.

I am creating a booklet using InDesign made up of images from Photoshop.  All images have been converted to 600dpi BMP files.  These print nicely in Photoshop, but come out slightly pixelated when printing either directly from InDesign or when exported to a PDF.Example from Photoshop:Example from InDesign:

Hey all, i am pretty new to using adobe products and would like to learn more.  I am having trouble with interactive pdf's, i would like to have a milti page document with buttons that play a transtion animation and sound effect to the next page.  so far i have been able to get the button work in its basic way of simpy moving to my desired page, however neith the transition animation or sound effect plays.  im using a mp3 file for the sound and if go into the preview winodw the sound plays with the button but does not transtion to the page. when exporting to interactive pds nothing works, unless i get rid of the sound effect but still no transition animation. aplogies for sloppy explination,  many thanks     <Title renamed by MOD>

Hi, If anyone can help I would be very thankful. I have create an interactive image I would like to share online. It only uses one invisible hyperlink space, when saving as an interactive PDF the link works correctly, when I try to publish online the link fails to appear / work. Can anyone offer any advise? Many thanks, Kim  

I have installed indesgin 19.5v and installed plugin Translator PRO Google after installing m opening new doc. options are not showing and plugin window options are also not showing so please guide me any one to overcome this problem. 

I'm still on 19.3 - can anyone confirm if the same info is available through scripting in 19.5?  

Hi AllQuestion: Let's say you had a business card imposition you want to set up but your address may change often, how do you set up template so you can enter info only once in the neccessary field quickly without having to correct each one separately.Thanks to whoever can help me. Can't seem to find a video or tutorial that shows this.

I've restarted my computer and tried to start a new document from scratch but keep getting the same issue. I notice the apps are loading or frozen in the creative cloud so wondering if that has anything to do with it.

I'm working on a print project. The image is CMYK and all the colors in InDesign are CMYK. So to is the Transparancy Blend Space.   I have an object (text made into outlines), with the 'difference' effect applied to it. It looks great in InDesign, but when I make a PDF using the Press Quality preset, the effect disappears leaving what looks like a transparancy. I've done a screengrab of the PDF output options.   How do I make a PDF and keep the effect?     <Title renamed by moderator>

I am working on a catalog project (I do roughly 6 a year). I basically use the old catalog, and update the links and text in the document. My previous file was 28 pages, 127 links and 32.3 MB in size. I used this file, updated links to new images, no settings changed. The new file is 20 pages, 98 links, but 288.9 MB. I have ABSOLUTELY NO idea what has increased the file size so much. I have done every thing exactly the same as my previous catalogs. Possibly related: When saving JPEGS in photoshop, randomly files will be 4+MB, when other comparable files are all under 500KB.
