Hi all.I need some basic support regarding support for Adobe Lightroom Classic. I’ve been using the software to 10+ years, have about 500K of images.During these years it has been (very seldom) necessary to contact Adobe for support. When done so, I have been supported over phone, shared sessions etc.I now have a more severe problem. Lightroom insists my cloud storage is getting full, 99%, 19GB of 20GB. I have taken away several thousands of images, but the number is still climbing. I see no effect of my deletions. That said as a background. My main question is: is it no longer possible to contact the Adobe directly, as in the old days, and raise a ticket? I cannot see that possibility. However, since I seldom have problems, I might well be missing something.Any suggestions for me to proceed to solve my issue would be very welcome. Thanks! best regards Hans Andersson
Hi folks, bit of a long shot this. I’ve had to rebuild one of my Macs (running Ventura) which had Canon Print Studio Pro version 2.2.8 installed. We use this occasionally for large print and Print Studio Pro produces a far better result than printing directly from LR or Photoshop.Tried to download this from Canon and it’s not available any more, every link to that version results in a 404 error. Asked their support and they said the only version available is 1.4. Does anyone have the v2.2.8 install files please?Alternatively, can anyone shed any light on why I can get get a perfect, properly saturated print from Print Studio Pro but from Photoshop 2026 or LR Classic the colours are washed out? I’m using the same colour profile for the paper stock.
SummaryI am a professional photographer and use Lightroom Classic as my primary production software. On a high-end mobile workstation, Lightroom Classic becomes progressively slower within approximately 5 minutes of editing.During normal editing, dedicated GPU memory rapidly increases until almost the entire 8 GB VRAM of the NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPU is occupied. Once this happens, Lightroom becomes increasingly sluggish and eventually the entire Windows desktop (including mouse movement) becomes noticeably stuttery. The problem has existed since the laptop was purchased in early 2025.Despite extensive troubleshooting together with Lenovo support and the computer manufacturer, the problem has never been resolved.HardwareLaptopLenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 7CPUIntel Core UltraGPUNVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU (8 GB VRAM)Intel Arc integrated GPURAM64 GBStorageNVMe SSDOperating SystemWindows 11 Pro (fully updated)CameraNikon Z8Compressed NEF RAW filesTypical file size: 30–40 MBLightroom Versi
Hi everyone,I'm having an issue with the latest version of Lightroom CC on a MacBook M5 Pro running macOS Tahoe 26.5.1. (I was experiencing the same problem on 26.5 and decided to update hoping it would fix it, but unfortunately it didn't.)Since this morning, it's been impossible to to use Noise Reduction, even though my internet connection is working perfectly. I've already updated both Lightroom CC and macOS, cleared the cache, and optimized the catalog, but I keep getting this error screen whenever I try to use Noise Reduction.Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 🙏
The Windows icons for .lrcat files have been missing for several months. See attachments containing “NOK”.I fixed this for LrC 15.2 by changing the Windows registry entry HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AdobeLightroom7.lrcat\DefaultIcon from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic\Lightroom.exe",5 to"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic\Lightroom.exe",1See attachments containing “OK”.After installing LrC 15.2.1, the registry entry reverted to '5', which caused the icons to go missing.
I have upgraded my lightroom classic through creative cloud when I open Lightroom classic it is showing version 13.3 and no upgrade box popped up to upgrade. I went into system info and it is showing as 15.4, will add attachment. I have regulary upgraded lightroom when creative cloud has said it needs updating , but in hindsight I think this has happened before as i am on version 13.3 . I am using window 11 and am afraid that I am not very computer savy and am terrified of messing up my catalogue.
Denoise was working fine, but now it starts and will not complete. Switches off after a few seconds. I am using Lightroom classic 14.5.2 and CR 17.5 Have an iMac OS Ventura 13.7.8 Updates all good. Have 559 GB available on hard drive. Have emptied LR caches. Have set “Use Graphics Processor” to custom and off and re tried - same result. Please advise.
On occasion my laptop will indicate classic is already open. Again nothing showing on the screen. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. All other creative cloud apps are working ok.
For as long as I can remember, hovering over an image on the filmstrip gave a popup that read file name, date & time, and resolution. Now it is reading file name and exposure data. This is only happening on one of my computers so it must be a setting but I can’t find it. Thanks in advance.
After installing Lightroom Classic v 15.4.1 and updating catalogue, I can no longer open LrC.

I have been using lightroom for 10+ years for color processing my RAW images. I've been having this issue for the past 3 months and I can't figure out a solution. I will color grade an image and then try to either sync or paste on other images in the same lighting/same settings - No camera settings changed, nothing different, same exact settings - and the same settings will appear different on some images, but the same on others. Its EXTREMELY noticeable on studio images. I have tried starting a new catalog which did not fix the issue. I also reset my camera and that didnt fix the issue either. I have no idea how this has started but I'm desperate for a solution. I am using MAC and my lightroom classic is updated to the current version. I've attached an example below of the issue. The settings are the exact same on each image. Same lighting, same camera settings. [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
I have a very strange problem. Some folders have randomly disappeared recently on my computer in Lightroom Classic (I am running Mac OS 14.6.1 on a 14 in Nov 2023 MacBook Pro with 4TB drive and Lightroom Classic 14.2) giving me the folder with the question mark on it. I had edited some of the photos in that folder after importing them and was even able to export them, but after switching between catalogs, those photos are no longer to be found even though the thumbnail image is there. All of the photos this has happened with were imported from cards where I imported some of the photos from the card into one catalog and then switched catalogs and imported other photos from that same card (not the same photos) to a different catalog. I did not remove the card in between imports. It's not often that I will have two different projects on the same card, but it's sometimes the case if I'm out shooting at two different locations back to back. Has anyone else encountered this? Any so
Need ICC Profile in LrC. For creating JPEG to be sent pro print house for large print. That failed the previous time because of the missing ICC profile. Now I have the profile, know how it works, have installed the profile, but LrC refuses to display it in the Other… dialogue for selectable profiles. How could I solve this? Because of the Pro edition of Windows, I reviewed profile-file authorizations too. There should not be a problem there. All application packages have execute and read.Running LrC with Admin rights does not solve it either. Is the profile file corrupted? Print house created the file in 2013 and it comes in zip form (with error protection). I presume the ICC file is fine.
Folders with images are color coded for progress through my workflow. These disappear when using Import from another Catalog.

Hey everyone,I’ve been using Lightroom Classic for years, and until recently, batch processing from the Library module worked perfectly. I could select a bunch of photos, apply a user preset, an AI update, or auto tone control, and all of them would update at once. But since a recent update, something’s broken. Now, when I select multiple photos in the Library module and try to apply any batch action (whether it’s a preset, AI enhancement, tone correction, anything) only the first photo in the selection gets updated. The rest are just ignored. It’s like Lightroom forgets I selected more than one image.I’ve tried the usual workarounds, like manual sync in the Develop module or copy-pasting settings, but those don’t solve my problem. Manual sync doesn’t support AI updates or auto tone in the same way, and copy-pasting is just too slow when I’m working with hundreds of photos. I need true batch processing, the way it used to work, directly from the Library module. This is a huge issue for m
Onscreen display in Library module (Loupe view) doesn’t update. That is, if I move highlight from one image to another, the “metadata” panel info does not change. Or, if I change the color or rating of an image, it doesn’t change onscreen. The behavior typically doesn’t begin until LR has been running for at least 10 minutes and it doesn’t end until I restart the program (occasionally it has been fixed by switching to a different module and switching back, but usually that has no effect). This issue has been bothering me since LR version 13 and now persists in 15.4.1. Details: Mac Mini M4 pro running Tahoe 26.5.1. Have tried turning off graphics processor support; no effect. Tried resetting preferences; no effect. Tried disabling all plugins; no effect. Tried removing and reinstalling LR Classic; no effect. What else might it be?
On macOS Tahoe, Lightroom Classic overshoots when navigating with arrow keys on MacBook Pro models with ProMotion enabled. Setting the display refresh rate to 60 Hz immediately eliminates the issue. Reproduced on both M1 Max and M5 Max with fresh macOS and Lightroom installations. Does not occur on an M4 MacBook Air (60 Hz display).
Subject: Exposure shortcut keys (+/-) inactive during Preset Hover PreviewDescription of Issue: In previous versions of Lightroom Classic (e.g., v14), users could adjust exposure using the keyboard shortcuts ("+" and "-") while simultaneously hovering over a preset in the Develop Module to see the dynamic preview. In the current version, these keyboard shortcuts are unresponsive while the "Hover preview of preset" is active, preventing real-time evaluation of the preset's effectiveness with exposure adjustments.Lightroom Classic Version Number: 15.4.1.OS Version Number: macOS Sonoma 14.7.5 (23H527)Step-by-step Reproduction Instructions:Open the Develop Module. Move the mouse cursor over any preset in the Presets panel to trigger the "Hover preview" on the main image. While keeping the cursor over the preset, press the "+" or "-" keys on the keyboard to adjust the exposure. The Expected Result: The exposure should increase or decrease in real-time, allowing the user to see how the preset
Zoom in on the actual focus point. On the Canon R5 and certainly other models, it is possible to zoom in on the magnified view at the exact point used to focus. With the large images, you don't have to first look for where the sharpness was measured and achieved. I would also like this for Lightroom Classic. When clicking on zoom, jump directly to the point where the sharpness was measured and NOT always to the same point for each image.
Lightroom seems to be stuck in Grid/Loupe/Compare/Survey/Slideshow. Pressing Esc or Tab doesn't bring back the sidebars. When I relaunch LR, the Develop setting preset panel shows momentarily down the LHS and then it goes to this which I can't seem to get out of. Have I pressed a shortcut key inadvertantly?? Help please!
Lightroom won't open. I click it and it simply won't open. It has full disk access on my Mac as well.
In 15.4.1 I have found that in Lens Blur the Blur option of Brush Refinement seems broken. Using it does the same as the Focus option. Anyone else noticed this?I am running the Mac version.
