Lightroom Classic

Hi everyone, I’m using the latest version of Lightroom, and I’m having trouble finding where I can view or edit the criteria for a Smart Collection I created.In previous versions, I could just right-click on the Smart Collection and select “Edit Smart Collection…” to see the criteria, but that option doesn’t seem to be available anymore. I’ve also checked the “Library” menu and other possible locations, but I can’t find anything related to editing or viewing the Smart Collection criteria.Has this feature been moved or removed in the newer version of Lightroom? If anyone could point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

Running LrC 14.4 on MacOS Sequoia 15.5, with the option "Write date or time changes into proprietary raw files" enabled, LrC is automatically modifying the capture date/time in my raw files without me using Edit Capture Time. Initially noticed that all files imported since 14.4 had the file modification date/time changed to when they were imported, whereas it's always previously stayed the same as the capture time from the camera. I then noticed that some older files were also showing the raw file as having been modified after I'd been editing them. After a bit of investigation I discovered it's modifying the capture time in the raw files for some reason. I've been testing with new and old files, some taken in GMT timezone, others taken whilst BST is in effect (+1 hour). They almost all get modified on import or editing, but the ones taken during BST the time is changed back an hour, whereas the ones taken in GMT nothing changes, so the "modification" seems to just be the sam

I am working on an album of 800 photos.  By accident, I had all photos selected when I cropped one of the photos from landscape to portrait orientation. Lightroom then proceeded to start doing the same to all the photos in the album. By clicking "reset" next to the sync button, I was able to pause the sync-settings process, but not cancel it entirely. It's as if there is a queue of sync jobs and it is impossible to remove an unwanted sync job from that queue. In other words, I have to wait until all 800 photos are cropped to portrait orientation (even though I don't want that to happen), and only then (hopefully) fix one of them and sync that crop setting to all 800 photos.  This seems an incredibly inefficient process. I can't be the first Lightroom user to inadvertently start a sync-settings process and want to stop it for good.  Is there a way to stop that unwanted sync-settings job once and for all?

Comme si elles avait un filtre d'exposition à -100... J'ai essayé de voir dans les paramètres dans le "développement rapide" mais y'a rien à faire. Avez-vous une solution à ce probmlème ?? PS : J'avais un Canon 80D (format RAW : CR2) et n'avait aucun soucis. Lightroom classic photos are not loading. I am not getting an error. I waited for hours and there is no progress in the loading section on the top left. I deleted everything including creative cloud. After deleting, I manually deleted the remaining files under appdata, romaning etc. manually. Then I went through the program data etc. and cleaned it thoroughly. I cleaned the remaining things in the regedit files. The problem was not solved, I reset lightroom, there is no problem from the settings panel. The same situation continues after the clean installation. There is a loading problem, it was happening all the time 3-4 years ago, I was solving it. However, I do not remember how to solve it and I do not have any time. I used the Generative AI remove tool in Lightroom Classic V14.3 to remove two people from an image.  After removing the people, there was a ghost image remaining.  I tried all 3 variations and all had the ghost images.  See before and after pictures as well as my settings.  Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm using Lightroom 14.4 on Windows 11 Pro. I'm trying to copy the white balance from one photo to a few others. I've tried going to Settings / Copy Settings and selecting just White Balance on the source image, then using Settings / Paste Settings on the target image; I've tried right clicking on the source image in the filmstrip and going to Copy Settings and selecting just white balance then right clicking on the target image and selecting Paste Settings; I've tried it with pasting to just one image and pasting to several images. In all cases, nothing happens at all when I attempt to paste. I've browsed the forum here and see some posts from a few years ago with a similar problem but the solutiotns there did not help. Does anyone have suggestions for something I might try?

Description of IssueIn Both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop, new images imported look extremely desaturated regardless of the colour profile selected. Even when using matching camera profiles, the saturation still looks visibly off compared to other programs. Might be a problem with the underlying camera raw engine. I only realised this happening to this month's imports and have not experienced it with previous shoots. The colors my older photos in my catalog doesn't seem to have changed. I would like to be able to view and select previous AI removal generations after making multiple generations - similar to the way you can in Photoshop. Is there currently a way to do that or will it be added in a future update?

After the new update - which btw is overall very good - the estimated time for AI Denoise is so far off it isn't even relevant. So far, with the images i've tried, it will generally say 1 minute. But, especially with larger files ie. panoramas, it's a whole lot more. Now, I can live with a long processing time, but it would be nice if it felt like the time estimate was actually being calculated based on my computer specs and the file size. Right now it seems like it's just an arbitrary number. Not very useful.

I have tested this with a few collegeus and it seems to be a consistent issue. One updated to 11.3.1 HEIC files are not being recognized any more.

I've been working with HEIC from my iPhone7 in Lightroom Classic for a couple of years.Somewhere in the last month or two it broke.All the HEIC images I loaded in the past now get a black (!) "Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo".  And of course I can't import new ones.Import direct from phone, via AirDrop, or extracted via ImageExtract to HDD on the Mac - same result in each case. (Lightroom (Cloud) still shows the imported and sync'd HEIC images just fine - whether it has converted them to DNG internally I don't know...) I can't see anything in the forums about this - I can't be alone with this problem?Oh, and why is HEIC not supported by this website?  All the RAW formats work, just not HEIC?Has HEIC support been discontinued?  What about all the HEIC's I've imported and edited over the past couple of years?

The current behavior is quite terrible. A book is limited to one collection and you can only add photos to your book from one collection. After you save the book and you want to add photos from another collection, you cannot just click on the other collection and drag photos to your existing book, because clicking on another collection creates a new book and re-populates all pages with pictures only from that other collection. This is frustrating. Instead you have to open the other collection in library module, drag the photos to the saved book collection, go to the book collection and add photos from there. Organizing photos this way is really tedious, especially if you want to have chapters in your book. It completely eliminates the organization of photos in collections for a book, e.g. for different chapters of your book. Feature request: There should be an option to switch between collections, while a given saved book is and remains open. Hello, I’d like to report a technical issue with the "Remove" (Spot Removal) tool in Lightroom Classic.Until a few versions ago, this tool worked quite well — even in challenging areas like skies. However, recently, when I try to remove objects like a softbox in the sky, the result leaves visible patches or smudges that don’t blend correctly with the background. This happens even after manually adjusting the sample source, switching to Clone mode, lowering the feather, or splitting the selection into smaller parts.I’ve tested all possible settings, but the tool seems to have lost accuracy. These kinds of defects do not occur when using Photoshop’s Generative Fill, which performs the task intelligently and seamlessly.I would like to know if this is a known issue that will be addressed, or if there are any plans to integrate Generative Fill (Firefly) into Lightroom Classic, as this would solve the problem without needing to leave the application.Thank you for your attention — I look forw

Hello Adobe Community, I had recently had a problem with my pc and I had to fully reset it. I logged back into Lightroom Classic once fixed and my preset was gone. Is there anything I can do it about it? Please help.

I am trying to print an oversized print on my Epson P800. The custom paper I have created is 17x21, I am using a piece cut from a roll. My print appears normal all through the printer settings and adjustments. Margins, cell sizes, etc. But when I print it is only printing the top half, exactly half on the vertical and the full horizontal.  I thought it it had to do with the "Paper Handling" area of the "Print Settings"?  Teh "Scale to fit Paper Size" was off, but when I toggled it on the resulting print was even smaller, 2/1/2" inches vertical and full width, cropped. I have had issue with custom paper sized my whole life in Adobre products. It has been awhile since attemptoing one, but before this gets absurdly expensive I hope to find a solution. Thanks

When in masks if I use the dehaze slider this creates a black block. See attached pic. When exporting the black block is embedded in the file. Any solutions?

I think I may have found a bug and I need others to verify.1) Take picture something with Camera App (ver 9.8.102.748116395.16) . The image must be a JPG.2) Import image into LrMobile (10.4.1) and sync with cloud3) On PC (Win11) using LrC  (14.4 Release Camera RAW 17.4), Edit image in Develop module4) Select HDR (or it may automatically be selected).5) Remove an object. (it doesn't matter if detect object is on or not) and pick any one of the 3 choices.6) Close the remove tool7) Switch HDR off.I am seeing a black area of where I selected to remove. If I enable HDR the image looks as normal.This problem does not happen if I use the DNG file synced through LrMobile to LrC. The problem also shows up if you start out with your JPG image set to HDR off, remove an object and turn HDR on (but the selection area is white not black). My PC turns off then on again while using the super resolution function in LRC. I have tried turning off the GPU to see if that takes care of the issue but that didn't work. My suspition is that my graphics card may be on it's way out. Has anyone encountered this same issue with a fix?

I see "distraction" removal of people in an email I received from Adobe. I use LRC more easily. Will Adobe put this into LRC ? I do not see it under the "detail" drop down when in Develop Module. Thank You anyone.

Issue: My current import batch into Lightroom Classic (14.2) on MacOS 15.3.1 has been at 100% complete (but still running) for almost a week now, with the CPU monitor showing 100% being used by LR (so it's not doing nothing).   How we got here: I have about 4TB of photos organized in a folder structure on a NAS and only about 1/2 are currently cataloged by LRC I started an import (add, do not copy) of the whole folder structure and after a few days days, LRC had identified all the duplicates and already-imported photos and I was ready to start the import I started the import I checked back a few days later and the import is "stuck" at 100% with no indication in the LRC window as to what it's doing, despite using 100% CPU consistely for the last week   When I try to quit LRC, it tells me that "there is a task in progress: import files in their current location" but when I click on the task, address lookup and face detection are paused and my only other option is to cancel "x

Hi everyone,   I’m reaching out after two full days of troubleshooting and hitting a wall.   Despite setting everything up correctly in Lightroom Classic, I cannot get it to sync only Smart Previews to the cloud. Lightroom always uploads the RAW files (NEF), even when Smart Previews have been built.   Here’s what I’ve done:   Imported RAWs (NEF) from my hard drive into Lightroom Classic. Built Smart Previews for every image at import. Disabled the option in Preferences for a specific folder location for Lightroom’s synced images. Created a synced Collection containing only Smart Preview–ready images. Verified in Library metadata that Smart Previews are present.     But no matter what, when I enable sync, Lightroom uploads the full RAW files to the cloud and mobile, using up unnecessary space. Even when I try testing with just two images, the same behavior occurs. In the mobile app and web interface, the uploaded file is clearly the RAW, not the Smart Pre
