Lightroom Classic

I’ve been using Adobe Lightroom to manage my photo projects for years, and usually, things go smoothly. But recently, while working on a client shoot, I ran into a huge mess. I imported images from multiple sources — my DSLR, a backup SD card, and even synced some from my cloud storage — just to make sure I had everything. Now Lightroom is a disaster. My catalog is full of duplicate photos — some exact copies, some with different names or slight edits. It's completely thrown off my workflow. I'm wasting hours trying to manually sort through thousands of images, unsure which ones to keep and which are just taking up space. To make matters worse, Lightroom doesn’t even have a native feature to detect or remove duplicates. My system is lagging, storage is almost full, and I’m falling behind on deadlines. Hello,in the latest version of Lightroom Classic, merging of original files and files de-noised by AI has appeared. However, I store the two versions separately, on different storage and with different compression. How can I now store the DNG only in the enhanced version?

Boa noite, Não consegui enviar as fotos do ligthroom para o photoshop, a aba "editar em adobe photoshop 2025" está desabilitada, já reinstalei os programas e não deu certo. No menu editar > preferências > edição externa: já está selecionado a versão do photoshop 2025 e o espaço de cor sRGB. Alguém sabe como posso resolver esse erro?

Hello,Lightroom no longer connects to my Canon 6D as of today, although everything was working fine before.I'm on- Apple MacBook Air M1 Ventura 13.2.1- Lightroom 12.5.1 / 13.0 / 13.0.1 / 13.0.2 (I've tried all 4 versions)- Canon 6D Mark II (I've updated the firmware)- Canon EOS utility software (updated), it connects well to the cameraI've activated Rosetta emulation mode, restarted the computer several times but I still get the message : Does anyone have any idea what's causing the problem?Thanks,Stéphanie

Hi! After  I have made a newediting of a picture in Lightroom ckassic in my Flickr public service ( using Jeffrey Friedl) and reload that picture to Flickr for this changes I get a new picture in Flickr, after a couple of editing multiple pictures.Is this a bug or is it something I can prevent by myself. Thanks for help.  

The issue:I cropped the image to the desired look, then pressed enter and the result I got was not what I marked with the crop tool. On three sides more was cropped but on the top nothing changed despite I marked the area to be cropped out.  But when I exported the image, the image turned out just as I wanted it to be cropped.On the screen shots I marked the areas where the cropped image was different from the crop preview.So why didn't LR show me the cropped image (as I marked it) after pressing the enter?Do I need to change something in the settings?   

Hello!Lightroom Classic (v.14.3.1) keeps crashing in the develop module, most notably after I've copied settings.Sometimes it even crashes the whole computer.I'm working on an ancient Intel Mac (OS Ventura 13.7.6).I've tried resetting the settings.I've tried turning off the GPU (and adjusting a few other things, too)I've disable a plug-in.I've reinstalled the app (via Creative Cloud, "keeping" the preferences, so not a clean reinstall).I even ran a diagnostic on my computer and it said "no issues found" Basically, when I go to copy settings, I notice the temperature spike and the fan go into high gear, before the app quits (no crash report) or the whole computer crashes. I understand that my computer is old, but I was editing without this issue, as recently as a couple of weeks ago.  Is there anything else that I can do?Should I try a clean reinstall?If so, what will I lose in the clean reinstall?  Just presets and preferences? Any advice or assistanc

Depois que atualizei o Windows para o 11, o Lightroom vem travando muito.Demora renderizar, se uso a ferramenta crop, trava, e se utilizar as mascaras, qualquer uma, leva 2 minutos para funcionar novamente. As vezes trava a ponto de ter que finalizar no gerenciador de tarefas.

LRC 14.3.1 CR 17.3.1Despite my extensive research, I can't find a clear, single answer online. I can't figure out how LRC works, and therefore if there's a less quality-degrading method.I know of three different ways to modify your composition while maintaining the same number of pixels as the original photo, knowing that cropping a photo reduces its pixel size, which sometimes poses problems later on.One way is to crop and then export at the original image size.A second way is to use the scale slider in the transform tool to "Zoom" into the image to the desired composition, thus avoiding reducing the original pixel size.A third way is to first use super resolution. This will give you twice the width and twice the height. Then crop to the desired composition and finally export at the original image size.And of course, ditch Lightroom Classic and switch to Photoshop for cropping and resizing.Isn't the difference between these three methods obvious? Suddenly the right panel of Lightroom Classic for Windows is grayed out (see screenshot). I looked at Troubleshoot issues with Develop module and tried each suggestion:Restart your computerMake sure your subscription is activeSign out and then sign in againInstall the latest updateReset hosts fileNone of it worked. I've used Lightroom Classic casually for the past year, and I've never run into this before.  Any ideas?

When trying to apply ratings to photos, if I use the keyboard, it says the rating has been applied but the rating does not show up below the picture. If I use the the mouse, left click->apply rating, then the rating is applied.as expected and the shows up below the photo. Why can't you accept videos from Onedrive? Video has be attached via video url and here:https://youtu.be/kagKiK_bcks 

G'day. I am thinking and planning to upgrade my current MacBook to M4 MacBook Pro. And I wonder which it is better, 12-Core CPU, 16-Core GPU, 24GB Unified Memory or 14-Core CPU, 20-Core GPU, 24GB Unified Memory is better. In addition, it would be helpful if I decide to upgrade the memory to 48gb for the apps to run smoothly. I try to keep it simple. Thank you

My library and pictures currently sit in my hard drive. I'm mostly using Classic, with Mobile occasionally. All pictures are smart-preview synced. I plan to make the opposite : store everything in the cloud and mostly edit with Mobile. But for some tasks, I'd like to still use Classic with the now original CC pictures. I can easily find help about what I'm currently doing (Classic as the core) but not about what I plan to do (Mobile as the core with Classic from time to time on the same pictures). Do you know a nice tutorial adressing my future use case ?

After moving a file from one collection to another, I then have to find the collection I was originally working in which has jumped to the top of the screen, hidden from view. Very disruptive to workflow. When deleting a file from or moving a file, the highlight bar indicating the collection in use should stay in the center of the screen.

For some reason, I can't bring the Mask Overlay color palette. I can only use the function of cycle overlay color and cycle overlay modes.When I launched LrC with the old catalog, the top menu bar was located in the middle of the screen for the first time. So, I have to quit LrC and relaunch. I'm using Macbook Pro Max M2.LrC version 12.5

Opened LR Classic v14.3.1 Library > Folders, disclosure triangle opened to show entire hd folder structure like in MacOS Finder. Renamed a folder within LR.  Now Folders panel no longer shows entire folder structure as before. What? Suggestions?

Tried everything from reinstalling lightroom, resetting my lightroom preferences, reinstallng creative cloud, and evrything else. Even tested different external hard drives to import. There are 1900 raw files that I am importing but only 175 show. Even rebuilt previews, created a new catalog, purged cache but nothing seems to work. Found older posts but nothing seemed to have worked. I just migrated LRC over to a Win 11 system and keep getting Photo merge errorUnable to merge the photos. Failed to import the final merged result from.... The images sit on a network share drive that works for everything else except for merging images into panoramas. They are raw files BTW. Thoughts anyone...
