Lightroom Classic

Estou tendo problemas há mais ou menos 2 meses com o lightroom.Toda vez que crio um catalogo novo e importo arquivos para começar a editar, as Visualizações Iniciais travam e o programa não faz mais nada.Sempre preciso reiniciar ele para voltar ao normal.Já desinstalei e instalei novamente, porém o problema persiste. 

OS: Windows 11LrC VERSION: 14.5A couple of days ago I upgrade to v14.5.As for every update, I regurlay empty cache, optimise catalog, remove all previews and generate new standard ones (also, I wanted to test how was was the new option to use GPU for generating previews).Never had a problem with this workflow.After previews generation process was completed (1h 30m for 29.000 files, 23.000 jpegs and 6.000 raws) I got an error: for 21 RAWs the preview could not be generated. Looking in the catalog at those files, I realised they have an exclamation mark on a dark circle: this is not the missing photo mark. If I click on the exclamation mark, I see error "Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo, you are not allowed to edit this image. " Yet, I can still enter develop module and edit the photos without any problem: the editing history is there, I can zoom in at 100% (generating the 1:1 preview), I can change sliders, export... catalog:getCurrentViewFilter() doesn't report the new Stack options in Library Filter's Attribute bar.  This affects the popular commands Back To Previous and Forward To Next Source/Filter/Selection of my Any Source plugin.   When this is fixed, be sure to test catalog:setViewFilter() as well.   To reproduce on LR 15.0 / Mac OS 15.7.1, run my Debugging Toolkit's Debug Script command:    

Lightroom Classic crashes when backing up catalog and looking at preferences, and doing an integrity check. I'm running Lightroom Classic on a new MAC with Sonoma and I've recently upgraded all my external hard drives.  I'm a photographer for the USA Today and have an enormous catalog. My crash report header is below - the full report is beyond enornmous. My catalog is over 4 gig. Lightroom Classic crashes during the integrity check. I've reset preferenes during startup.   I've uninstalled Lightroom today and reinstalled the latest from Adobe CC.   Neither of those options have helped.  I've tried backing up my catalog to 3 other external hard drives and also to the local MAC hard disk - no luck and no success with any of that. I have a Macbook Pro M4 Pro chip, using MacOS Sequoia 15.5 with 48GB of memory. I am using version 14.4 of Lightroom classic with Camera Raw 17.4. My Lightroom keeps crashing, with no particular pattern that I can pick up.   Is there any fix or anything I can do to resolve the issue? Your help would be appreciated.

Windows 11 21H2   If you shut down Lightroom Classic 11.3.1 with the Library Module showing, then re-launch later, the Map Module works fine.   If you shut down Lightroom Classic 11.3.1 with the Map Module showing, and then re-launch later, the Map Module is not usable. The exact form of the error changes, its not always the same, sometimes I get JavaScript error, sometimes the Map Module just freezes, other times it has other errors, but the Map Module simply doesn't work in this situation.

i cannot remove a photo (or group of photos) from a collection. when i right click onthe selected photos, my only choice is to remove photos, and i click remove, it says that i can't  delete phots from within a collection. I'm not trying to delete them (from LRC or my disk) i just don't want them in the collection. There is no option to to "remove from collection"

My last iPhone photo import was on Christmas Day (25 Dec 2025). Today, a LIghtroom Classic import either identifies a very small number of year+ old photos that have already been imported or says “no photos found’; it’s inconsistent. I am on an old iMac (late 2015) running the latest macOS supported by that hardware (Monterey 12.7.6) and Lightroom Classic 13.5.1.This is a new problem.I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to get things working again.

Buongiorno, ho un problema con l’aggiornamento di LrC alla versione 15.1.1Il sistema mi dice di non poter installare l’aggiornamento i quanto il mio processore (I7 gen.3) non supporta le istruzione AVX2. Effettivamente è un processore piuttosto datato insieme a tutto il sistema che volevo cambiare. Ero intenzionato alle CPU AMD Ryzen ma in rete ho scoperto che dopo il 2022 i processori AMD non supportano più AVX2. Vi risulta? A me sembra veramente strano non poter installare la versione 15.1.1 su processori di ultima generazione, sto interpretando male io?grazie per il supporto

Hi! so i realised my backup was on the same hard drive as the original file. (i have 2 internal harddrives, one just for photography) so i tried to do the right thing and set the backup up on the other hard drive. Oh man, its been a nightmare! I have googled and read til my eyes bleed! I get the permissions thing. more googling, and some guy says set up and everybody and give full access, in desperation i tried it but my pc did not like it!! I have read about it here too, but my system doesnt match! I’m not sure im understanding, is it permissions to my hard drives? or within lightroom? I am using windows 10, waiting for the 11 upgrade! all the threads i bring up are so old, that the stream of commands are not on my pc! where do i find these permissions please? for now i have simply copied the LRCAT file to my backup hard drive, but doing that every day is a pain!  I have tried to set up a  new catalogue as some seem to get that to work, but even though i know exactly where the catalog

I just updated my LrC to v 12.4 this morning and now when I try to copy/paste settings in the develop tab to a new photo, the new photo is hazed out and flat looking. If I reset the settings and put them in manually, it looks correct, so it has to be an issue with the copy/paste. Please help this is slowing down my work flow tremendously.   PC, Windows 10

I am still trying to get LR Classic to work on new PC; every step is a new problem. I got my catalog onto C drive finally but now when opening get two error messages: “...issue with AI edits. Future edits may not be saved...” and more seriously, “lightroom encountered an error when reading from its previous cache and needs to quit.” I have tried everything online as to how to fix this and nothing changes. Any advanced ideas out there? Thanks.

Hello,Recently I bought a Windows 11 laptop specifically for using Lightroom and Photoshop. It's not state of the art high end, but the specifications made me think it would be enough to use Lightroom in a way that would be fast enough for me and my camera (Canon R5 MK2):13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H 2.4ghz32 GB RAMGeForce RTX 40501TB SSDI have only been using it for 2 months and my catalog is very new and small.However: when starting up LR classic the welcome screen shows up shortly and then the screen stays grey for over 30 seconds. After that it takes another 20 seconds to build up all windows of the app and finally show the picture that was open when I closed it. Is it normal that it takes almost a minute to start up on a laptop like this?After that it's still quite laggy and it all feels like I'm running an old computer.When I check my Task Manager while starting up, the processor performance has a very little spike at clicking the LR button and after that it stays at around 6% fo

Hi, I’m using LR Classic (version 15.1.1 on MacOS) and was wondering if there’s a way in preferences or settings to turn off the Undo/Redo pop-up notifications?The pop-up is extremely distracting when editing and sometimes even blocks the area I'm editing. Thanks for any help or tips. Best,Thomas

Hello,I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to make VSCO profiles & Lightroom Classic CC/ACR work with newer cameras that have yet to be updated by VSCO? Especially given the near-discontinuation of VSCO I think many would be interested in finding a workaround for this. I've tried a number of different things but no luck.To be clear my problem isn't with presets but rather the VSCO camera profiles.Things I've tried:1. renaming copies of existing VSCO Nikon profiles with the name of the new camera (i.e. Nikon d810>>>Nikon Z7 & Nikon d810>>>Nikon Z 7)2. Importing profiles via the dialogs in Lightroom Classic CC and ACR in PS CC 20193. deleting the Index.dat file in the CameraProfiles folder4. Moving profiles from CameraProfiles into the CameraSettings folderIncidentally, I'm on a Mac running LR Classic CC 8.1. I'm specifically working with Nikon Z 7 files but I imagine that the solution would be essentially the same for any given camera.Thanks in advance

When the Generative AI spot removal has been done before Denoise is applied, the removed areas that have been treated with the Remove tool aren’t treated. However, when Denoise is applied first, the Removal treats those areas properly. 

in Dev and Library mode: metadata is not showing up (spinning wheel constantly), keywords constantly say ‘working’ (grayed out), ratings not showing, nor stacking groups, or even the stack icon on top left. when helper file gets deleted, issue is resolved initially, and then breaks again. When rating images, if any rating shows, it does not get updated. LR 15.1.1  OS Version Number: 15.7.3

So, not a question as such, but after months of slow switching between photos on my top-of-the-line Macbook M5 w 32GB RAM & 2TB SSD HDD (it could take 20 seconds waiting for the next photo to show, using keyboard arrows), I have finally solved this extremely annoying issue.I have all files stored locally on my HDD, backing up to Dropbox.I pause Dropbox sync before opening LR.Lightning fast switching in Dev mode :-)I assume it’s the same for OneDrive; pause sync while working. Resume sync after finished your work in LR.Happy days
