On Intel iMac 27 2020 5k Retina running Mac (Mac OS 15.1.1) and LRc (14.0.1 and Camera RAW 17.0) I am not sure if LRc really applies "Camera Settings" for Raw processing of DNG RAWs if picked, e.g. from Leica SL3. Reason at ARW I see on the right side for profile "Camera Standard" (Screenshot 1) at Leica SL3 DNGs I cannot see "Camera Standard". So, I am asking please (Screenshot 2). ARW: DNG from Leica SL3 (no Kamera Standard here) Mac:

In previous versions of the Lightroom (13 and prior), the transfer process would take a minute or less and previews would complete over the next 20-30 minutes (for 500-1000 20MP RAW photos). This was still slow, as the preview generation process seemed to only use a single CPU core. While annoying, it wasn't a huge deal because I could still review and cull photos while this was running in the background. Lightroom would just be

Lightroom allow the named face panel to be frozen / lockedwhen tagging a large number of photos, the unnamed panel gets rather large, and it's difficult to drag to the named panel as it moves up off screen. If the named face panel had the option to freeze it, that would make things a lot easier, similar to function in excel thanks
Hi Adobe Team, I’ve encountered a bug in Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 on macOS 15.1.1. Here’s the issue: When I crop an image and then move it (e.g., using the arrow keys), the crop boundary automatically shrinks. This happens consistently if I hold down an arrow key or press it multiple times. Steps to reproduce: 01. Open an image in Lightroom Classic. 02. Apply a crop. 03. Use the arrow keys to adjust the position of the cropped area. 04 .Observe that the cropped area shrinks automatically. This behavior is frustrating and interrupts my workflow. It would be great if this issue could be addressed in the next update. [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
I'm using LR 6.0 because I don't want to pay a monthly subscription. It could read the Canon CR2 files of my Canon 7D but isn't capable of reading the CR3 files of my Canon EOS RP so I used Adobe DNG Converter to convert the CR3 files to DNG. Any images shot at the full-wide, 24mm lens position (RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 lens on EOS EP body) have extreme vignetting in the converted DNG files. Even if I go under Lens Correction, select Manual (there's no profile for my lens under Profile) and select the maximum +100 Vignetting correction, there's still significat vignetting. This vignetting is being introduced by DNG Converter in the conversion process. If I open the CR3 files in Canon Digitial Photo Professional, there is no vignettingin the original files. The vignetting only occurs in photos taken at the widest, 24mm position. If the shot was zoomed even a little, there's no vignetting in the converted DNG file. I'd have to take a series of test shots to see exactly what focal length th
I got a problem exporting to DXO Pure Raw from LRC. After doing the major adjustments I select Pure Raw as plug-in or right click and export the Raw (edited) file to denoise and corrections on DXO Pure Raw. Since yesterday the file previewed is missing any adjustments I had made on LRC. No matter what settings I change on Pure Raw, the preview update is instantaneous because nothing is actually happening with the file. I did test with Topaz Denoise and it's working. I did reinstall DXO Pure Raw as well as LRC and nothing changed. I install bothe softwares in another computer and the problem persists so I assume it's not defective but some settings that I may have changed involuntarily that caused this. At same time I imagine that installing the softwares again would set the parameters as default but like I said, nothing changed, the problem remains. I don't find any similar issue reported but I hope someone has an idea about it. [m
Hi, I have a good and powerful system with i9 13900k - 64 gb RAMs 4800Mhz - RTX 4080 OC.Lightroom has been very sluggish and slow since day 1 after I switch platform from Macbook pro M3 Max to PC. PC version is not as smooth as my macbook pro Silicon. Also re-import dng/tiff after processcing from Dxo and Topaz takes like 2-5 minutes and make Lightroom freezed/unresponsive and then picture showed up in Lightroom. This never happened to me on my Macbook Silicon and it's making me so frustrated.I've done : Install/reinstalled - not working. Rebuild preview - not working. Did LRC tweaks for preferences/Catalogue/etc - not working. Please help !!!!PS: attached is my system report for windows.
I just found out that lightroom has created thousands and thousands of duplicate photos of some of my collections. I've used Lrc for many years and do not believe it is user error. It did this once before and I had to start my collection over. I've spent all year and I'm only halfway through recreating my catalog of travel photos from backups. My actual photo files are organized by year/month. 2024/July originally had about 300 photos when I imported it in August. Now the folder has 2,110 photos - some of them duplicated up to 6 times. They are not virtual copies. Theres no telling how many other duplicate photos it's made in other folders. On the last catalog it created 11,000 duplicate raws that I could easily find and unknown amount of others. I can use AllDup to go through the files to find the duplicates and delete them from my drive, leaving the largest file of each grouping of duplicates. Thats fairly easy. Some are
Windows 11 and LRc. I thought I used to be able to move sliders using the wheel on my mouse. Now I cannot. Am I doing something wrong? Also in Camera Raw? Thanks
I have an issue with exporting on the Mac. The problem is twofold:1. a maximum of 2 images get exported.2. every export process (whether up to 2 or more images) never comes to an end (you can see in the top left). Here is a screenshot to illustrate: I have started 4 exports:1. 1 image - this has been exported2. 2 images - these have been exported3. 3 images - only the first 2 have been exported4. the missing third image from 3 - this has been exportedAs you can see at the top left, none of the exports are completed correctly. All processes are still in progress (for several hours).Does anyone have an idea what is going wrong here? I get scared when I think of exports with several dozens or maybe hundreds of pictures...Since I am a Mac newbie and this is my first Mac after more than 3 decades of Windows PCs, I am not sure if the problem is located in front of the screen. 🤷 BR, Thomas
Hello everyone, I think that LrC deserves an icon like in ACR or L(cc) for the before\after view option. I don't understand why LrC doesn't has it. ACR Lr(cc)
Witam.W moim LRC 14.0.1 mam problem z importem usatwień wstępnych.Imoprtuje wszystkie na raz jednak w aplikacji widoczna jest tylko część ustawień wstępnych.Proszę o pomoc!
For many years I have been slavishly converting my raw files to DNG in the (apparently mistaken) belief that this would ensure continued compatibility with Photoshop and Lightroom. Going back a few years I have discovered hundreds—possibly thousands—of dng files that won't open at all in Photoshop or Lightroom ("unexpected end-of-file occurred"). These same files OPEN WITHOUT A PROBLEM IN APPLE's PHOTOS APP.None of these images have ever before been opened in any program other than Photoshop and Lightroom. My backup versions of the same files won't open in Photoshop or Lightroom either.Apple's Photos app has no problem with any of these files. They also appear quickly in Apple's Preview. So don't tell me it's my hardware. How is this possible? The tedious task of finding the bad ones, opening them in Photos, exporting to TIF and then importing them again to Lightroom is simply not practical. There MUST be a better way—and a way to prevent this from happening again. This is an emergency fo
When moving a folder from one drive to another, if it is not being dropped into an existing folder, one cannot complete the move within LRC. In Windows, when performing the same move, one can drop the folder into an empty space at the same nesting level as the existing folders. That works. Most other folder/file move operations are identical to Windows folder/file management. This one should be too.
JLLH [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
Hi, for over a month I have an issue with spot removal tool. I have over 500 photos with small dust spots from scanning, so I cleaned all of them with delete spot removal and since then whenever I restart Lightroom I have to update them. I didn't use generative AI, so I don't even understand why I have to do this. I was looking for solutions and none of them worked. I moved .lcart file from Lr folder, I used the ctrl+alt+U shortcut in the library module after selecting all photos in folder and none of these worked. The latter didn't even do anything, because when I looked in develop module, none of the spots were updated on any photo. There's also an issue with mask tools that may use AI (sky selection and object selection masks), I have to update them every time too. In 'All Photos" it often shows duplicates in the same folder. When i go to the folder, of course there is only one. It also will show a missing photo right next to the actual photo. When I try to find the missing photo, it tells me it already exists in the catalog. I hopoe there is a solution for this.
My back button on Lightroom has dissapeared. Whenever I edit photos, I have an arrow that wipes all the edits I have made and I am unable to delete my last step as the back button arrow is no longer there. Please help
I would like to see more options for the crop guide overlay in Lightroom Classic. Specific example: I'm using the Golden Spiral overlay, and the smallest point in the spiral always shows up in the upper right area of the image. What if I want to put it in the lower left? I can see no way to do this.
Hey all, I'm having issues with AI denoise. I've tried many times and waited forever for the same photos, checked the original folder for the dngs, tried different amounts of noise reduction, updated my computer, and nothing seems to work. Thank you [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
When exporting files, the export process seems to take a long time - sometimes up to 10 minutes - to actually start exporting.I've found Lightroom in general to be running really slowly since the upgrade, so don't know if this is part of a wider performance issue.
WHAT'S GOING ON? I just opened LRc, and it turns out I've lost everything. All the presets I've been working on for years are gone. I can't even add photos to the program. Adobe, what's wrong with you lately? You've been making so many mistakes recently! How am I supposed to recover years of my work now?
Hi, I have Epson ET-8550 printer installed with latest drivers. When I print from lightroom, printed colors are way off from what I see on my monitor, but absolutely correct when I print exported to Epson Print Layout. Same paper ICC profile is set in lightroom and EPL. What I'm missing?
I dragged and dropped all 'lrcat' files from the MacBook internal to the new external. When doing so on two of them I got a message that there was a newer version of that file so I didn't copy those two. Should I also move them just to be safe? I thought I read that the next time I want to open LR I will click on on of the files on the external and somehow LR will then do that automatically in the future. But does that also mean I won't be able to use LR without the external drive being connected? Can I now delete the internal drive files? Thank you
