Why I can not install Lightroom Classic on my m4 MacMini? It says it is not compatible. Why is that?
When I try to upgrade my LR Classic Catalogue from v. 13-3—as required in order to keep using this application—I get a spinning disk and have to force quit. I have done this a number of times. I have tried restarting my computer which didn't change the outcome. I'm on a Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1. I've been using LR for many years, have upgraded many times, and this has never happened before. I have another catalogue which is working just fine. Any suggestions for fixing this problem? Thanks!
i'm a long time user of lightroom classic. today when i opened the program and went to edit a photo i received a messgae that the developer module is disabled, please purchase a membership (which i already have and have been using for years). it also says i can sign out via the help menu and enter a serial number if i have one (i don't). i tried signing out anyway and nothing happens. any thoughts? thanks!
I am getting this message everytime I try to import files into LRC - anyone tell me why and how to fix it? Only thing new is I updated the latest LRC Update.
Lightroom Classic Product Manager attn: do you have in your backlog a feature to enable subtracting not only what is available/possible there today, but also any previously user-created masks?
I noticed that once I process a face using the AI Denoise tool in Lightroom Classic the face dissapears from the face detection. Any way to get it back? 14.0.1 Release
After updating LR Classic to v14.0.1 all pictures are green in Develop module. Library module works fine. Disabling GPU acceleration solves the problem, but slows down the work considerably. MacOs Sequoia 15.1 on Mac Pro 2019 (Intel CPU) with AMD Radeon RX 6800 GPU. Never had this problem before. Could be bug in Metal support? Hope this will be solved in next update... Sample attached below. [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules.]
good morning, I installed my lightroom 6.0 on a new computer. First I logged out of Lightroom on my old computer. Installed Lightroom 6.0 on my new computer and logged in. Despite this, Lightroom 6.0 does not start.What can I do now that Adobe no longer supports this product? {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator}
Hi,I’m using the latest version of Lightroom Classic on the latest macOS. When I create a mask, it works fine for the first one. However, when I try to create another mask or adjustment using the "+" button, nothing appears on the screen.I’ve seen suggestions about deleting the Preferences, but that’s not a viable option for me. I have extensive data embedded in my setup, and the process of rebuilding everything would take days.Adobe, are you aware of this issue? Is a fix being worked on? Does anyone have a reliable workaround? This is causing significant disruption to my workflow, and I’d appreciate any advice or solutions.Thank you,
Hey guys, im not new to lightroom but im new to the forum, let me know if you need more information so as to help me. I have the latest version of Lightroom classic. (v9.1) the problem im haveing is that when connect my SD card my laptop recognises it and I can access all my photos, its not locked. when I open lightroom to import the images it used to open the import part, now it doesnt, I have to open it manually. once open it recognises that there is an SD card plugged in but shows that its empty. as in no photos detected. for now my work around is that im having to manually take the photos off the SD card and put it into a folder so I can import it (it accepts images off my laptop but not my card). Ive tried fresh installing Lightroom and formatting the SD card, nothing helped. anyone experienced this? any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

On upgrading from LrC 13.x (unsure) directly to 14.0.1 on first run LrC was trying to connect to a loads of domains nothing to do with Adobe and which corresponded to messages I've saved in Apple Mail (sender domains). I run Little Snitch on my Mac which notifies me asking for permission when any application requests internet access for which premission has not been previously granted. First run of LrC 14.0.1 after updating catalogue and it was requesting access to loads and loads of domains corresponding to the sender domain of messages I've saved in Apple mail. Definately not bookmarks in Safari (as some fgo back ages and are from registration of accounts. Attached to post a few screenshots of the permission requests. Lightroom Queen mentioned about connecting LrC with Apple mail but I wasn't even aware LrC could connect to any mail client. eg, a sample of the requested domains: airvpn.org, amazonaws.com, apopo.org, appcenter.ms, apple.com, asolo.com
Yesterday (30 July 2018) I updated Lightroom Classic CC to the latest version (LR 7.3.1 ??) . I discovered that one of the new features has been changes to camera profiles. I opened the profile drop down menu and found that I had Artistic, B&W, Modern and Vintage. I was missing the Adobe Raw profiles and the profiles matched to my Nikon D750 (Vivid, Flat, Neutral, Landscape, Monochrome etc). What has happened and what do I need to do to recover these profiles and install them?ThanksDave
Although I know I am using the right username and password, I cannot successfully upload my book to Blurb from the Lightroom Book Module. It keeps saying that my username or password is incorrect. (I don't have a problem logging in directly to Blurb from their own website, though). I have uploaded several books in the past, so I am not sure why it is an issue this time.Any thoughts?
I highly doubt that I can do this, but it never hurts to ask...I own about a dozen lenses. Most are Canon, and the lens profile is automatically applied. No problem. I do own some lenses such as the Venus Optics Laowa series. It's easy to find them and apply... but I always have to open the drop down list and scroll past a million (ok, half a million) makes before getting to the bottom of the list for Venus Optics. Again, easy enough.... unless you are going through a few hundred photos from a session and the non-Canon lenses are scattered here and there throughout the few hundred shots... so a simple "sync settings" isn't as easy as it sounds since it might be two pictures here, skip a few, six pictures there, skip a few... you get the idea. So for each photo it's the drop down list, and a lot of scrolling. So my question is, is there a way to remove some of these lens selections for lenses I will never own? That would be at least 90% of the li

I'm running LRC v13.3 on my Dell laptop (Windows 11) and shoot everything in RAW. Denoise has historically worked well, but now when I select Denoise it won't show the "Enhanced Preview". The preview panel turns solid gray and shows the instructions to click on the image to see the unenhanced preview. If I click it shows the unenhanced and it's highly magnified. If I click enhance it acts like if will go through the process but then just stops. I've restarted LR and my laptop numerous times....no help. Any suggestions?

I get a "Try this again, network failure" every time I use generative AI in the Remove tool. ** The fix is to relaunch the finder. ** This was a fix suggested to get AirDrop to work again. That fixed the AirDrop issue, and also fixes the "Use Generative AI" feature as well. Strange, but true. Hope that helps anyone else having this problem William [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]
The situation is pretty much as the subject header lays out.I am in the process of moving to a new PC, and for several reasons my best option for the moment was to move my catalog and related resources to an external HDD for acess on multiple computers. After moving, I have several of these yellow bars (see snip) that appear next to folder names as LRC spins up. The bars are not there on initial start of the program; they appear incrementally as the program runs through loading functions. They are only next to certain folders, the same folders each time; other folders on the same drive do not have these bars as shown.Running LRC 14.0.1, Windows 11, catalog currently on one of 2 externals that house my pics (yes, I know this is a vulnerability but it is for the moment what I need to do, drives are continuously backed up by Backblaze). I've googled this over and again and evidently am not hitting on the right search terms.
For as long as I used Lightroom, there was always one catalog file: lrcat. And it was good. All I needed to restore catalog was one file. Since IDK when there is another catalog file: lrcat-data I learned this hard way, when I decided to format my disk and restore everything from backup. Why 2 files which both store photo metadata, are kept separate? This does not make sense to me. Obviously they could be stored together in one file, which would make life easier. Idea here is to merge them into one file and restore simplicity of one file approach.
Lightroom Classic Keeps Crashing when edilting. I can restart and LR and it will work for a while then crashes again. Then again and again My system Windows 11 latest update Ryzen 7 5800x8Installed RAM 32.0 GBGraphics card GeForce GTX 1050TiM.2 PCIE G3x4 NVME SSD Things that I have done to stop the crashing.Uninstall Lightroom cc and reinstalled four times with different versionsOptimize catalogTired different catalogRan LR CC without GPU turned on Updates GPU drives Reset Preferences Checked for hardware issues and found CPU running a little hot.
