Lightroom Classic

Dear Adobe Team, I would like to provide some feedback regarding Lightroom Classic, particularly related to the person selection tool. Although I have clearly marked a bald male head using the person selection tool, Lightroom consistently selects the wrong person (a woman with long black hair) when synchronizing multiple images. The two individuals are sitting in the same position, with only slight variations in posing. This is problematic as it is time-consuming to manually correct each individual photo. It would be great if there was an option to manually correct the selection of the wrong person by simply dragging and dropping the selection to the correct person. This would greatly simplify the photo editing process and save time, and would be a valuable addition to the person selection tool, improving the overall user experience of Lightroom Classic. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards Lightroom Classic 12.3OS: Windows 11

The issue is with LRC 13.4, Photoshop 25.11.0, and Window 10 64bit.  In Preferences/External Editing, I have no software showing up.  Clicking on the window does nothing.  I tried using the Additional External Editing window setting up Photoshop 2024 as the default, but LRC will let me access this from the Edit In menu.  It only gives my and error message tellng me to select an External Editing Software.   I have deleted the preferences 3-4 times. Tried to open an older catalog, same problem.  Reinstalled Lightroom twice. Nothing works.   In addition, Lightroom no longer opens from the Alias.  I now go to the folder with the catalog and open the catalog from there, in order to access Lightroom.   My workaround is to no longer use Edit In.  Instead, I use the Export Window to get to Photoshop.   I am so tired of LRC being totally unreliable.  Version 12.5 was the last stable version on my machine. 

Hi!  I am using adobe lightroom classic and desnoise is not working with my raw images (see attached below). I am using Nikon z9 and z6ii, the files are NEF.file which is NIKONS version of raw. Someone please help! Do I need to troubleshoot. I have unistalled and reinstalled. idk what to do!!

Hi, I have LR Classic 13.4 running on my mac (running 14.6.1) I am trying to install a few ICC profile files from an online printing store.I have tried placing them in mutliple folders (macHD/library/colorsync/profiles) and in application support/adobe/color/profiles/recommended) reguardless of the location, when soft proofing in LR, when i choose 'other' i can not see the downloaded icc files/profiles - i can see others that are in the folders listed above though - the ones that came with the mac and LR.is there some setting i am missing to be able to view the ones i've downloaded?Or am i missing the proper folder location? thanks 

Since latest LrC update I am having bad performance with sliders, mainly whe using masks. Just to be clear: till before the update I had no issues at all. My configuration (purchased 16 months ago):i7 13700 CPURAM 32GB DDR5 5200MhzM.2 PCIE 3.0 X4 NVME 1.4 SSD (for SW and catalog)4TB HD 7200rpm for picturesRTX 3050 VENTUS 2X 8GB OC GPU (not overclocked)2K MONITOR Attached below two screenshots of the photo I am editing (raw file from an EOS R 32mpx): one screenshot shows the entire photo, another the crop with only one mask applied. I strongly believe that last update has introduced really bad code and probably memory leaks leading to performance issues.   

Happy New Year all! Curious, anyone else running into an issue where Lightroom isn't using all the screen real estate on the new 14" M1Max MacBook Pro? It's super weird, I'll be in any other program and everythign is fine, but when I select Lightroom it shrinks the part of the screen it uses and the 'digital bezel' around it increases. Pic attached showing difference from desktop to Lightroom. I've tried all screen options from default to scaled. Think I checked all options in Lightroom. Anywho...figured I'd give it a shot here and see if anyone else had that cosmic weirdness and if so, how you fixed it.   

Hello, I have been using Lightroom Classic since before the split, and have never run into any issues with Lights Out mode previously. But for the past three or so weeks, LR will not dim my screen. The window says I am in the correct mode and that the windows switch every time I hit "L," but no dimming occurs. When I restart LR, it works normally for the first couple of tries, but then, all of a sudden, it stops working again. Any advice? My workflow is crop + color/exposure correction in LR -> PS for final touches.  15-inch 2019 MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.5, LR Classic version 13.4.

Beste, IK wil vandaag even met LRC werken. Maar deze start niet meer op. Ik krijg 1 keer de melding kan cataloges niet meer vinden. Ik heb hem al vewrijdert en op nieuw geinstalleerd. Maar hij start even goed niet meer op. Wat kan ik hier aan doen. Ik heb al zitten kijken bij andere meldingen maar ik krijg het niet voor elkaar.  Groetjes Alex

I have been successfully importing photos from my hard drive. Suddenly It stopped importing, saying no photos were found. I am following the exact same procedure. I have restarted the program and my computer, but am still unable to import. I opened a new catalog as a test and could not import there either. Help!  

I'm not sure exactly when it quit working but the latest upgrade would be a good bet because I've used the functionality recently. All it shows is a black and gray map of the world with white dots and the error box Unable to connect to Adobe servers. Map module will not work. I tried going back to library, closing and reopening. I have just installed the newest Lightroom (13.1) and the newest photoshop (25.3.1)When in lightroom I cannot "edit in photoshop". It says no external editor is selected, and when I try to select one, no version of photoshop appears. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both twice. This is getting old. It's been happening on and off for the last 6 months,Last time all I could do was install the beta version of photoshop, which puts a giant red popup on the screen every 6 days telling me a have to update.I'd prefer not to do that, but this is a function I use 100x a day.

I have updated both Adobe Lightroom Classic and Adobe Photoshop to the latest versions. I'm finding in my workflow that when I take an image from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop that not all of the Neural Filters are  working properly or are not available, particularly the Skin smoothing function in the Neural Filters. Is this a bug or do I need to re-install plugin? 

HelloI experience after a while. Then LRc freezes and has to restart everything to get going again. I have also heard from a friend who experiences the same thing. Tried to see if it's a driver problem. But it doesn't seem that way.

I have about 21 000 photos inside my Lightroom.When I'm in Library mode and trying to find some pictures of older date or that I look up pictures via Ctr. F, it takes a very long time before the pictures come up, if they do at all.If I click on the image itself for each image, it comes up. But that's untenable if, for example, I'm going to have a series of photos of maybe several hundred photos.What could be the cause of this and how can I solve problem?

I recently updated to 11.4.1.     In the past, when I created a virtual copy of a photo, the virtual copies appeared alongside the original thumbnail image in the grid and the filmstrip.   Now, I see a number in the upper left hand of a single thumbnail --- but cannot see all of the virtual images -- no way for me to access them.   I'm guessing there is a setting somewhere that I am missing?  Help please -- my client wants landscape and portrait modes of the photos that I took today. Thanks!

I use Lr Mobile to edit my photos during event shooting. When I am back at home I import my photos from camera to LrC and let LrC to sync the photos on Adobe Cloud. Because I want only to store the local copy (I will eventually delete the cloud photos) I copy the all the edit setting from Cloud photo to locally imported copy. Many cases there are several photos fro the same subject, but I have edited only one (in Lr), so I might paste the settings of one Lr edited photo to several photos in LrC. The issue is when I have used Subject Mask in Lr (Mobile). LrC can't "reprocess" the Mask correctly, instead it is showing the original photo mask in new photo. Even if I delete the Subject mask completely and create a new one, the mask is from the other photo (where I copied the settings). LrC never created/computed a new mask. This works fine if everythig is done in LrC. I can edit one photo and create a Subject Mask. Hello all,I have a massive catalog from 2016-2018 that as of a few days ago, won't open fully. I tried to open a recent backup and it also won't open the backup.What exactly happens:Lightroom will load and start loading the grid of photos and about 45 seconds into loading the catalog, I get the, "Lightroom has encountered a error reading a catalog file and needs to quit" message. Opening the original catalog again makes Lightroom attempt to repair the catalog, which also fails.So I extracted a backup to a different location and even a different drive and the same thing happens. Lightroom gets partially through opening the catalog when it says it has encountered an error and then attempts to repair the catalog which also fails.So after fooling with that, I ran a check disk on the drive that houses my catalog and it found some errors and corrected them. Sadly when trying to open the catalog, I get the same errors. It encounters a problem and then fails to repair the catalog. This happens
