Lightroom Classic

Have installed LRC on new laptop (PC). Experiencing 3 issues.1 - it can't see the folders on my portable hard drive that I used on old PC with no issues.2 - when I import, it renames the folder to date only.3 - it keeps reverting to Import function while I am processing photos.

Ich nutze die Druckervoreinstellung zur Auswahl der Papiersort und des benötigten Schachts des Druckers usw. Möchte ich einer der Druckvoreinstellungen nutzen wählt man dieses aus. Kontrolliert man deren Einstellungen und geht über Abbruch wieder in die Druckervoreinstellungenauswahl und wählt das gleiche nochmals aus so werden andere Einstellungen übernommen. Somit ist das Druck ein Glücksspiel und man druckt mit fehlerhaften Einstellungen. In anderer Applikationen (Safari, Pages) ist dieses Verhalten nicht festzustellen. Ich habe MACOS Ventura 13.5 und LR Classic 12.4. 

I'm using LRC on a Mac running Sonoma 14.5. My LRC is at version 13.4. I have a collection of photos for a presentation that I have sorted in a Custom order. By custom I don't mean one of the choices that LR has, I mean truly custom, where I've dragged the photos to the specific order that I want. 'Custom Order' is the choice on my Collection in LRC. I've synced this collection to the web. When I go to 'lightroom.adobe.com' and sign in, I have the Album, but the order is not correct. I can select 'Custom Order' for the Album, but that doesn't seem to change anything. I can go to the Slideshow module, but the order matches the Album order, and there is no option for 'Custom' in that section, only the canned choices like Capture Time etc. I've read lots of threads on this topic and I've tried making my collection 'Public' and waiting 24 hours and still the order does not change. Hallo zusammenm Nach dem Update auf Lightroom Classic 13.3 steht nun trotz mehrmaliger Neustarts von Mac OS beim Synchronisierungsstatus mit der Cloud seit ca. 36 Stunden Synchronisierungsdaten werden initialisiert. Leider keine Uploads mehr seither. Der Chatsupport wirkt überfordert und versteht das Problem nicht. Geht oder ging es jemandem ähnlich, bzw. kennt jemand eine Lösung? Vielen Dank an die Community und viele GrüßePhilipp 

Ever since updating my lightroom catalogue to V13-3 it has killed my catalogue sync. Every import I have done since the update, whether importing directly into the collection or into all photos and then dragging into the collection, the photos are not syncing on mobile. Same when editing in photoshop, after saving, the new .tiff file is created and added to the collection but not syncing to the catalogue in mobile. I have no sync errors showing, nothing stuck in uploading, I have rebuilt sync data, deleted the old catalgoue and sync files, restarted, signed out, signed in. Nothing is working. This issue is only for new imports since the update, if I edit or delete past images, those changes are syncing as normal. New imports are going into all photos on the mobile sync but edits made from the catalogue and star ratings are not syncing. Rather frustrating, this updated has slowed my productivity trying to solve the issue on my own but it appears to be a bug rather than fixable on my end

I have been using Lightroom on a Mac since 2015 and have not deleted any related files.  I need the storage now and am wondering if it is safe to delete old files, particlurly the .zip but also some old ircat.x files? I currently use LrC on an iMac and never use the old installed software.  Are the any old files (pre-2023) software or backup files I shouldn't delete?  Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

I was away on a trip and used my iPad Pro to start making photo selections and processing some of the better shots for socials. I would bring in all the photos from the day of shooting, make selections and then remove all the others from the library to conserve space. Backing up all the images on an SSD. Now I am back at base I want to go through all the shots again on Lightroom Classic, importing all the shots from the SSD to the LrC catalogue.  Is there a way to sync up the shots from the iPad to LrC? I have them all in the 'Synced' Folder on LrC, ideally I would be able to sync all the mathching files with flags, keywords and develop settings. TIA

Hi folks, I use Lightroom CC and Lightroom Web to host an image archive for my company. The higer-ups at my company tend to use the web version while I use CC due to the increased functionality.  I am sorting by capture date from earliest to latest, and on the CC version, it shows correctly. However. on the web version, it is insanely out of order.It starts with a few photos from 1979, then goes to 1974, then to 1976, etc. etc. - it is all over the place. how can I fix this?

I'm in develop tool - masking.I can turn on/off indivudial masks, but the toggle all masks is greyed out.This bug manifested mid edit. Was working fine. Then wasn't. I'm in the develop tool AND also in Library Survay mode - Just sequencing (Not editing)."Transform" ( Flip horizontally/vertically ) option randomly vanishes from the UI on right-click.I have to go to the Photo>  Main menu to use it.Restart LR and the issue is fixed.CLEARLY your UI is flaky AF right now as I keep getting UI elements that just stop working for no reason or they vanish all together from context menus.... YOU can get LR to work on a tablet.... but not an 18-core modern desktop CPU??? Maybe spend less time fkin around with your BS AI prodcuts and put some actual meaningful Dev time back into fixing the crap that LRc has been experiencing for the pasts DECADE!AND YOUR UI still lags on 4k monitors. 10 YEARS after my first request for you to fix your UI..... still waiting on that one... but

Having a problem that keeps re-occurring at different frequencies relating to syncing format and using a numeric keypad to set colour tab and rating. At the same time I cannot syn with the setting sync (becomes greyed out) but can via the sync key on the bottom right when in selection mode. Strangely if I try to paste a setting it accepts the copy but places the paste on a non-selected image! I can change the rating and the colour tab by right clicking specific images on my second monitor on a grid, but this is cumbersome and slows things down a lot.Occurs randomly but persists until I either switch off my System (simply restarting Lightroom Classic has no effect) or uninstal and re-instal Lightroom Classic. This is on a Windows 10 Pro workstation with a Logi keyboard. Resetting the logi keys has no effect. Happened once too often, hence request for guidance.

Opened lightroom to export a couple files and was greeted with the update windw.  I clicked I got it and when the program opened 20 years of parent folders labeled by the year are showing Zero photos. when I open a folder the photos seem to all be there I have not checked every folder yet.   How can this be fixed it used to say 2019  12,000  so I kne how many photos were in each year.  Scren shot attached   Joe Cosentino   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. Lightroom Classic has become short of unusable as it crashes during the simplest operations: namely moving through the film strip and flagging images. There doesn't seem to be any one thing that causes a crash and it's so abrupt that the reporting mechanism is never notified. HelloCan anybody tell me why after using a preset on a picture and afterwards resetting all settings manually towards the orginial picture colors still are not the same?thanks

Hello, Lightroom is not showing my photos in develop tab or in the library tab. I can only see 3 at a time, and when I click on a new photo, the previous one disapears. I tried rebooting my computer, upgrading my graphic cards and I looking around on the net, but nothing works.   Is there something that I can do?   Thank you.   [Mod: Moves to the Lightroom Classic forum]  

I know this is a really basic question, but I'm still confused about how to search for a specific image in Lightroom. This is true even if I have the four-digit number of that image (DSC1234, for example). I'll click on Text and input that number, ("any searchable field" and "contains all") but it won't retrieve that image UNLESS the date currently showing in the catalog is the date in which that image was taken, in which case I don't really need to search for it -- it's already easy to find! Am I just doing something wrong here? I thought organization was a significant part of Lightroom, so it seems to me like there would have be a better way of doing this. Thank you. 

Wondered if anyone can help as my Lightroom Classic crashes randomly with graphics acceleration enabled. No error messages appear, the application either closes or stops responding forcing me to kill it in task manager.I have tried everything I can find on posts with similar issues including an older version of the software, removed all preferences, new catalog, older graphics card drivers, reinstalled windows. No use, it still crashes.I have not experienced my computer crashing on any other application either.My PC specs if it helps -AMD Ryzen 5900X64GB RamAMD 6700XT graphics card

I don't have a file naming panel on import in the Library module in  lightroom Classic CC.  I'm using MacOS 10.13.4

New collection not syncing. I read what Adobe posted on the web but none of those suggestions worked. Any ideas?

Hey I noticed that when i'm exporting dng file type that created with denoise to jpeg format the file size drop extrimly. For example, 61 MB dng file will be 2.8 MB as jpeg file. When i'm exporting to png file this problem not occur.   Is anyone have the same problem? 

I have been using Lightroom since version 1. Now I need to find another tool, because I am wasting too much time for technical issues. Actually, I cannot do anything, because Lightroom is freezing the whole system any time.My system: Windows 11 22H2 (22621.1928), all updates installed, latest AMD Radeon drivers (23.5.2.), latest Lightroom Classic (12.4.) from the photography plan. No problems with any other tool except Photoshop, which is also freezing. My CPU is i7-9700k, with 16Gb memory and 5 disks, of which 3 SSD SATA, 1 HD SATA, the system disk is M.2 SSD, where also all apps are installed. The lightroom catalog is in one SSD SATA and the images are in another SSD SATA.The freezing happens any time, whatever I am doing. The freezing happens 1-5 minutes after started using Lightroom.What I have tried:disabled GPU - freezeoptimized the catalog many times - freezecreated a new catalog and imported the old one into the new - freezecreated a new catalog and imported only 30 images (ins
