Hello, because I cannot find the solution or discussion to this topic, I guess it would be good idea to implement in next update. (I'll be happy if Im wrong and somebody will help me with that, thank you)ISSUE:IS IT POSSIBLE TO DRAG/MOVE EXISTING COLLECTION SET INTO PUBLISHING SERVICE? (So the pictures would export into folder structure of "colleciton set / colection 1, 2, ..." )Since I already invested lot of time into creating collections I wouldnt need to do same work again in publish services?description:I created collection set with many sub-collections (architecture / specific buildings).I would love to publish this keeping the hirearchy so the lightroom would create folder "Architecture" and inside of it separate folders "building 1" "building 2" and so on.POSSIBLE FUTURE SOLUTION:I would imagine that there should not be big problem just draggin existing collection/collection set from collection menu into one of created publish services. Then when I would publish the set th
Hello Everyone! So I'm a wedding photographer and I rely very heavilly on the sync option in Lightroom Classic. Recently I have been running into the problem where the sync appears to have lost the ability to properly transfer the settings to the "pasted" photo. It doesn't give me any technical errors but I beautiful edit will paste to a new photo washed out and lacking a good amount of the color and warmth. I've started a new calatog, optimized the catalog, restarted multiple times and done just about everything I can think of. If anyone has any advice that would be hugely helpful. This issue is going to make my workflow take dozens of hours longer than it should
I'm u Fujifilm user and I would like to use Enhance details functin during export process of JPG's. Why? Because making new DNG files that are usualy 3 times larger than original RAF is no option to store it for me. So... Implement Enhance details in process of export would solve this issue. Of course it would be longer process of exporting file, but technically I do not see any issue why that wouldn't be possible to implement. What do you think?
Lightroom is already performing JXL compression on linear DNGs created from Panorama merges and other linear operations, and it has resulted in amazing space savings. The DNG spec already allows for JPEG92 compression on bayer data and JXL compression could offer an additional ~20% space savings over that. This is especially helpful on very large image files which are becoming more common. Lightroom already supports JXL compressed unmosaiced DNG files. Other tools can create them, and Lightroom supports those. Extending the "Create DNG" funtionality to use Lossless JXL would probably be a very user forward feature.
I keep my entire collection of image files and my catalog files on an external USB drive (I use both a MacBook and WIndows PC). I regularly backup this drive to a NAS on my local network, which is then replicated to my Amazon S3 cloud storage (yes, I'm paranoid about backup). I notice that the backup of the folder containing the catalog file also includes several folders ending in ".lrdata". Some of these contain thousands of files and subfolders. This takes a while to backup and consumes storage on my NAS and my Amazon S3 account. My question is: Are these .lrdata folders absolutely necessary to backup? It looks like that have to do with previews. If the worst happened and I restored just my .lrcat file, could these files and folders be regenerated? I'd like to cut back on the number of files I need to backup.
After the latest Lightroom update, I've noticed that working with masks causes Lightroom to use a lot of RAM. A friend of mine, who works on Windows, has reported a similar issue. Has anyone else noticed that Lightroom is consuming a lot of memory after the latest update?ThanksPaweł Słowikwww.slowik.euMY SYSTEM INFO:Wersja Lightroom Classic: 13.4 [ 202406181129-60d181b7 ]Licencja: Creative CloudUstawienie języka: plSystem operacyjny: Mac OS 14Wersja: 14.5.0 [23F79]Architektura aplikacji: arm64Liczba procesorów logicznych: 10Szybkość procesora: NAWersja SqLite: 3.36.0Źródło zasilania: Podłączony, 100%Wbudowana pamięć: 16 384,0 MBDedykowana pamięć GPU używana przez Lightroom: 2703,5MB / 10 922,6MB (24%)Pamięć rzeczywista dostępna dla Lightroom: 16 384,0 MBPamięć rzeczywista używana przez Lightroom: 1325,4 MB (8,0%)Pamięć wirtualna używana przez Lightroom: 418 015,7 MBRozmiar pamięci podręcznej pamięci: 165,8MBWewnętrzna wersja wtyczki Camera Raw: 16.4 [ 1897 ]Maksymal

Does Denoise in Windows take more than 30 minutes to process CRAW images clicked with a CANON EOS R5
LRC 13.4Sonoma 14.5M1 Ultra I shoot weddings across 4 x Sony A7IV's and sync camera times by photographing a phone, typically around 4000 photos.Since V13.4 the time on random photos has reverted back to the original time. All the photos are in a collection that syncs to the cloud, I suspect, (but don't know), that the cloud version is overwriting the most recent version on desktop and changing the time back.
Hi everyone. After a fresh install on a new machine, i've imported the develop presets that i used on my previous computer into LrC, but, some of them don't show up.On the preset folders, i can see the files, but they won't show up in the software. Even if i try to import them again, i get a message saying that it's already installed. Anyone having similar issues with presets missing and did anyone found a workaround?

Hi there, My Photoshop brush sizing is not changing when I am using the bracket key shortcut. Thank you for your help!
Does anyone know if there is a way to "Update" transform via the SDK? I don't see anything in the documentation. See the screenshot below for the Update that I am referring to.

The brush does not work. I set brush and brush to select and it just makes a mess, and does not respond to adjustments. i have used this once valuable too..a lot. I have the latest version of classic, earlier versions worked beautifully.
The performance is initially acceptable but after 5 - 15 minutes of work it gets significantly slower.Eg. 1 second delay after moving brightness slider.
Hi everyone, I’ve been using Lightroom for over 10 years and specialize in timelapse photography. I’ve never faced this issue before, so I’m hoping someone can help. I have a custom preset that includes basic settings, curves, color grading, and calibration settings. My usual workflow is to apply this preset to one image, make any necessary corrections, and then sync all settings across the entire sequence of photos. In the past, this method worked flawlessly, with no noticeable differences between images upon export. However, for my last two timelapses, I’ve noticed a shift in exposure between many consecutive images. Initially, I thought this was due to changing light conditions that the camera couldn’t handle. But today, I’m certain it’s an issue with Lightroom’s sync function. I have two images with very similar camera settings and Lightroom edits, yet there’s a noticeable difference in exposure. Apart from changing colors in two far-away buildings, the camera
I'm testing out Alt Text metadata when exporting from Lightroom. I'm exporting jpgs with All Metadata (no exclusions). When I export the jpg, I don't see any Alt Text when I open the image in Mac OS Preview and look through the different bits of metadata. I also opened in it in Media Info app and didn't see anything. And when I update it to my website, my website hosting software doesn't see any Alt Text in the metadata (though in this case, I'm not sure that my website host Duda is pulling this metadata to creat alt text). Anyone successfully getting Alt Text out of Lightroom? Where do you look to confirm?
I'm having an issue that has been happening much more frequently. Keyboard shortcuts that I regularly use will randomly start doing other things. What's weirder is they'll sometimes do things for which there is no shortcut. For example, Ctrl+Shift+S will export using a specific preset (and not the previously used export preset). I've also seen it export for email and change the process version. I've noticed the same behavior with Ctrl+H and Ctrl+M. It used to happen once every couple weeks, but this past week it has been happening several times a day. There is no discernible event that precedes the bug. When it happens, using the shortcut again repeats the same incorrect action. Closing and reopening Lightroom resolves the issue. I am running LR Classic v11.4.1 on Windows 10 (21H2, build 19044.1826). I primarily use a Dell XPS 7590 laptop, but it has also happened on my Windows desktop with the same software versions. The program and system language is English, and I am running
Hi everyone, I hope the collective knowledge here can help me. Currently, I am having issues with syncing my catalog with Dropbox. I'm working with Adobe Lightroom Classic and Dropbox doesn't sync some .db files. The problem occurs when I open my catalog stored in Dropbox. I have been using Dropbox and Lightroom for years without any issues until Dropbox made the upgrade. Now there is an "CloudStorage" folder in my Library. In Finder, everything has a green checkmark, but at the top on the Dropbox symbol, a red number appears, indicating that previews.db and root-pixels.db cannot be synced. The only way I can synchronize the files without any issues is by moving them from Dropbox to my desktop, editing them there, exiting Lightroom, and then moving them back to Dropbox. With this approach, I don’t get any error messages regarding the .db files. Here are some details about my equipment: iMac 27 inch 2019 macOS Sonoma 14.5 Adobe Lightroom
I purchased a new computer (Windows 11), installed LRC 13.3, and imported my old LR 5.0 catalogue. None of the folders known to LR 5 are linked in LRC 13, but these can easily be redirected. My concern is that the internal C drive of the new computer is not known to LRC. Therefore I cannot import, move, or redirect photos on the new computer. Further, I cannot navigate during Import or create new folders in Library. I suspect that after the import of the LR 5 catalogue LRC is looking for the C drive on the old computer. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you
while exporting pictures from lightroom can't see remaining pictures nor remaining time...why
I was aware of the GPU issue on the Mac, so I disabled it. The real issue started when I was rearranging my keywords. Then, the keywords themselves disappeared. After that, I could not close the program, and it would freeze up. Support tried to help, but it never fixed the issue. I have tried going back a couple of versions. Right now, I'm at 13.2, and the same thing just freezes up after I load some photos and try and quit. Maybe I need to get rid of everything related to Adobe and clear everything off my Mac? Should I start over? I have sent in many crash reports now, so hopefully, there is a record. Please help. [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. A ‘bug’ is not just another word for a problem with software.]
Every time I launch Lightroom photo book I get this error message sfntread library error. i have tried to reset the program and nothing has changedRodneyThanks
