Hello- I have the latest vrsion on LRC, never had problems with exporting to a designated folder on my hard-drive (Windows 11), seems like that changed today. My export box opens and when I scroll down it seems to keep trying to save on the CD/DVD option (I don't even have a CD or DVD drive), I now have to select the Hard-drive option everytime. Is anyone having the same issue? Is that a new bug in this app? Thanks -Terry
Please let me know what I can adjust in my laptop that might be causing it to slow down and flickering, especially when I work with masks. I updated to 15.2.1 but it was so glitchy I had to go back to 15.1.1. Hello. Why can't I use the AI Remover feature in Lightroom Classic? I get an error message saying "Unfortunately, this feature is not available in your region at this time". (I'm in Germany). There is no such problem in Photoshop and the function works, but I need it specifically in Lightroom Classic. Please help me.
[Adobe doesn't accept bug reports of LR 14 on Mac OS 26, so I'm posting this here to inform other plugin developers and users and perhaps Adobe developers, if they're interested.] Plugins sometimes crash LR 14.5.1 with Mac OS 26.0 on Apple Silicon Macs when they try to run a child program using LrTasks.execute(), with the error in the crash log, "crashed on child side of fork pre-exec". If this bug continues with LR 15 (officially supported on Mac OS 26), it could have a serious impact on many plugins. A similar bug occurred a year ago starting with LR 13.5, on just Intel Macs, and wasn't fixed until 14.5. Adobe's fix was suboptimal, serializing all invocations of LrTasks.execute(), creating a real performance hit for plugins that invoked multiple instances of programs in parallel (e.g. Exiftool). A better fix would have been to serialize the lower-level invocations of the operating system's fork/exec system calls, which would still allow multiple instances of LrTa
Using the reflection removal tool in Lightroom or Photoshop fails on my MacBook Pro. The result I get are below in image. I presume this is a GPU issue and probably due to the MacBook age and not powerful. what MacBooks are compatible or Mac Studio with the Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop reflection tool?
Hi there!I am curious about what others are doing with their mobile phone photos. Do you bring them into Lightroom along with your photos from other cameras? Do you feel the catalogue gets too large and clunky? Here’s some context on why I’m asking. This is my current workflow:Currently I am using Lightroom Classic on my desktop computer. All my camera raw photos are in this catalogue. I tag, edit, and organize in Lightroom. I Publish JPG copies to my Synology NAS using Jeffery Fields Folder Publisher plugin. I use Synology Photos to then share these jpg copies with family and friends automatically by using shared conditional albums. I could see a benefit of having my mobile photos and videos in Lightroom so I can tag them all the same, using my Lightroom tag structure. This was photos from my Z6ii and videos from my iPhone could all share the same tagging structure and publish to the correct albums on the NAS. My main worry is bloating the catalogue though, so I’m curious about what o

On my iphone 15 in my Lightroom mobile app I have a folder called”Recents” which totals 8,952 images.I need to make space for a wedding tomorrow in order to take videos and for the life of me despite trying different methods described I cannot delete them as they are taking up 36GB of data.I’m at my wits end in trying to free up this space, any ideas would greatly be appreciated.Thank you in advance for any help. Cheers Neil McAllister
Import a large number of images (in my case 3639 images and about 6 short videos). Create Collections Spend about 1-2 hours dragging images to various collections Eventually and drag and drop operation from library into a collection no longer works, just get a standard arrow cursor and no image by cursor. Exit LcR Bring up Task Manager and notice LcR is still running and using memory (in my case 65GB). In Task Manager watch the memory usage of LcR executable decrease … for 65GB this took about 5 minutes or so … once memory usage reaches zero the executable will terminate.Since I have 256GB of RAM there should be no issue with using 65GB in LcR. This appears to be a bug that I can repeat when loading MANY images that consume more than 64GB RAM.My System Specs:OS: Windows 11 (10.0.26200)CPU: AMD 9975WXMotherboard: ASUS Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SERAM: 256GB ECC RDIMM Vcolor QLC (certified)GPU: two nVidia 5090 32GB VRAM (drivers 591.86 Studio)Local Storage: two Samsung 9100 Gen5 4TB NVMe M
Hello Adobe Community,I have been using Lightroom Classic for the past two years and have learned a great deal from it. I am currently working on a project where I need to batch edit metadata for a large number of photos (over 5,000 images).Specifically, I want to apply a sequential numbering system to the following metadata fields:Title Copy Name CaptionMy requirement is to assign values in a sequence format, for example:Edit-1, Edit-2, Edit-3, and so on, similar to how file renaming sequences work in Lightroom. The goal is to automatically generate and apply this sequence across all selected photos without manual input for each image.I would like to know:Is it possible to create a sequential numbering system directly within Lightroom Classic for any of these metadata fields (Title, Copy Name, or Caption)? If not, is there any recommended workflow, plugin, or workaround that can achieve this efficiently?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, especially for handling this at scale.
In LR 15.2, the shortcuts for Maps’ Show Filter Bar don’t work German (DE) and French (FR). In German, “<” works on Mac but not Windows. In French, “$” doesn’t work on either Mac or Windows.
I made a virtual copy of an image in LR and then chose “edit a copy in PS with lightroom adjustments”. When I sent the image back to LRc, there was no copy made and the new image overwrote the .TIF file original. My original (with Google AI adjustments that cannot be replicated ‘cuz I’m out of usage tokens) is ** COMPLETELY GONE **. I am quite beyond irritated. Yes, I still have the pre-Google raw file, but I am very much not happy. What should I have done? P.S. aside -- why would my community page not have a “post a question” button on it? I’ve been hunting around for over an hour and it only just now showed up.
I would appreciate if LR would support images with 65k x 65k pixels (i.e. drop the overall 512M-pixel limit). I have several stiched images, that I can not handle with Lightroom, and I do not want to use two different Applications to manage my images. P.S. and please make the limit 2^16 x 2^16 and not 65000x 56000.
I paid for LIghtroom and use Lightroom Classic for all of my photo editing. A couple of weeks ago suddenly Lightroom Classic wouldn’t open. I tried restarting my computer, cleaning up extra pictures, etc. I finally uninstalled Classic and reinstalled it. My computer says it’s installed, but won’t open the program. I need it fixed.
I'm trying to update some settings on multiple images. In Develop mode, I start by making the corrections to a single image, and then click the "Copy ..." button. I then select multiple images in the Filmstrip and click "Paste". This works just fine, but only on the 1st image/highlighted image, and not the whole selection. Am I doing something wrong here? Shouldn't I be able to update multiple images, at once, like a batch process? Thanks in advance.
It takes so long and you constantly have to update the feature on each photo if you batch denoised them and then even when you update it it does nothing.
Lightroom Classic will not open. I click on open and it does not work. Nothing happens.
In a mask we can use the Defringe control and it works well. Sometimes I create a mask over an area using a brush or gradient solely to use the Defringe tool. Why is Defringe in a mask so easy to use, effective, and without the bad side effects of the complex Defringe in the global tools? The global Defringe tool rarely works well and often it doesn't work at all. It is common to get a message with the eyedropper that the area is too small or it can't detect anything despite it being clearly visible. And when it does work you have to play around with the 4 sliders and almost never get a satisfactory result. And on top of that the real killer is that if there is anything else in the photo that has a similar color (clothing, car, etc.) then parts of that can also be changed to monochrome.I sometimes even create a Linear Gradient over the whole image if I have problems in many places in order to use the mask Defringe which works so well. So much better results than using the global D

I use a 13" Samsung laptop Windows-11 PC.When I open the preferences interface tab I cannot see the lower left corner button to restart Lightroom Classic after making changes to any options such as the Font Size option. Please allow user to proportionlly resize the window by grabbing a corner or top or bottom of window just like cropping an image in the Develop Module "Crop Overlay" panel.
Somehow, I have dozens, if not hundreds, of files appended with “-2.”As in “_IMG1234-2.CR3”And they are not in LR. But they are on the drive as “IMG1234.CR3”I can’t think of a way to find, select and rename all of them at once so that Lightroom can find them. I can’t re-import them as they are too old.I can use the “find file” dialog in LR and rename them individually. But I could be dead before I finish. Please don’t scold or call me a dumb ass. I’ve already done that.
Mouse Scroll wheel does not work on Lightroom sliders on mac. Comming from windows these function is missing a lot on Mac.
In Development module, color mixer or sharpening the idea is to press and hold with mouse, and move the slider left and right. This is not a very accurate way of changing the settings and I believe using the scroll (mouse or mousepad) would enhance this part of the edit process. For example: One could select the exposure setting, go in to ‘move slider by scrolling’ feature and scroll comfortably up and down, until a preferred lighting has been achieved. Can you understand my explanation, and what do you think?
