Lightroom Classic

How can I add additional aspect ratios as a saved preset to my crop tool? I’m tired of entering them manually each time and would like to save them for future use.

Upgraded to 11.3 this morning. 11.2 and previous worked without problems.   I notice the following: Using the hand tool to reposition the image within the print frame: Up and down are reversed.    For example I am printing a photo of a model on white background. If I reposition the photo so that the model is in the center of the frame I have to click and drag the image in the opposite direction to which I want the image to move.    So with the model in the center of the frame and with ample padding around the image the print comes out with her toes cut off????    If I then reposition the image on screen so that the models toes are cut off the print comes out with the model centered nicely with ample padding around the image!!!!   Richard

I’ve tried every twist possible. I have lots of details (pasted here) and will attach a diagnostic zip file.I’m having trouble with Lightroom Classic 15.x upon closing. The LrC window closes but LrC hangs as a very active background process. I’ve done a lot of testing and reinstalling and I’m looking for an under-the-hood solution to the problem. Please! I am trying to start Lightroom Classic and I am getting this errorLightroom.exe System error The code execution cannot proceed because mfc140u.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.I have uninstalled and reinstall and still getting the same error

When I want to use background mask (AI) it looks likes it starts (small box on the left pops up for a second or 2) and then it dissapear. Same with selecting people in masks. He won't find any people, while there is a whole person in the whole photo, can't miss it. And it doesn't say it can't find people, it just doesn't do it. It stays empty. It worked perfectly till I updated to 15.2. Want my previous version back, can't work like this. I made a video of it, so you can see the problem. 

With Lightroom Classic 15.2 on Mac (Sequoia 15.7.3) the Auto Import function does not work if the filename contains the danish letter å and Å.It does however work if the filename contains the danish letters æ and øFiles with å or Å stays in the Watched folder without being imported

Hello, I'm creating photo series for photo booths and I need to stay within Lightroom to manage the flow of automatically captured images. I need a plugin for Lightroom Classic that allows me to automatically apply background transparency and apply an image that I load to the background of a series of images in print mode.

Hi everyone,I had to replace the hard drive on my MacBook Pro, which uses Monterey and cannot be updated.I was using Lightroom Classic v.13, but I can no longer download that version from Creative Cloud because, unlike Photoshop or other software, the menu with the three dots only shows the Available Plug-ins option and no longer allows me to download previous versions. This was possible until recently. What can I do? I can't change computers right now, and I need the software (which I pay for) to work. Thank you.IP 

I cannot create a Mask since LrC v15.2 installed.Steps to reproduce: In Develop module, click on Mask icon, select subject nothing happens.Select object and draw round the subject, the Masks panel briefly appears then disappears but no mask is selected.Repeated the process on other photos with a very clearly defined subject and had the same result.I’ve re-installed v15.1.1 and used select subject on the same photo and it worked perfectly.Windows 11 Pro 25H2 Build 26200.7840 Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Super

The sky detection mask stopped working. When I click on “sky” icon, the “detecting sky” message comes up for a split second, but nothing. Also the mask and brush selections work intermittently - I can’t tell when or why.I re-installed lighroom, switched GPU on and off in lighroom settings. Any help?UPDATE: I reset all the preferences (shift + option ) on startup and that seems to have resolved it.

Dear,I would like to know how to obfuscate or protect Lua Lightroom plugins. The SDK manual tells just to compile, but with well known decompilers I can recover the source code without any problem.I have tried Hercules-Obfuscator, and some online obfuscators, but they do corrupt the code. They brake the code in: Changing the names of table’s keys that Lightroom need to know (for instance “LrPluginName” in Info.Lua Changing names of exported functions/variables in one file and then it can not be recognized in another one. If I make a file “helpers”  that returns “{ onefunc(), anotherfunc()}” the obfuscators I tryed change the exported names and can not call them from another file with requiere(‘helper’)  and  helpers.onefunc() Probably other parts I have tried turning on and off hercules options, but failed to be able to run the plugin Is there any way to protect the code?

I have a library of around 200k images held in folders in date order. I like to have standard previews built so that I am not waiting for images to load for a particular folder before inspecting them.  So  when trying to build standard previews for large nyumbers of images, it takes just one flaky image to stop the whole process and trying to find the one image that is preventing preview build, it is highly frustrating.  Why on earth can’t the code be written in such a way, that if it takes too long to build a preview, just mark it as broken and move onto the next?  Or at least telll me which image is causing trouble?Thanks

trying to import edited jpegs from lightroom cloud to lightroom classic, ironically for better export settings. exported from lightroom cloud with ‘original + settings,’ yet when importing to lrC, no metadata seems to have transfered (photo is unedited). am i forced to export as full quality jpg? with a base file in .jpg format, is this equivalent to exporting with ‘original + settings’?thanks

Seit dem Update auf 15.2 funktioniert die Maskierung von Personen nicht mehr, selbst auf Bildern im Katalog auf denen Personen zuvor erkannt worden sind. Es erscheint stattdessen "Keine Personen gefunden".

Is it possible to options to context menus with lightroom SDK? I can add menu entries in the menu bar, but it would be much satisfiyng if I can right click on a photo/collection and the my menu appears there.

I'm attaching a screenshot of what Spotlight shows under the Apps icon on the task bar.Adobe Creative Cloud installs ten (10) separate "helper apps" under Applications,  It's mess.Could Adobe at lease consider recoding these so they only appear under "Other"?  

My lrcat-lrdata folder is corrupted, online i read to delete it and lightroom would reacreate it but it did not fix the issue. Now if I open the pictures in the develop module i see an uknown error shown but my edits are loaded as the values are shown on the slider but they are greyed out. I contacted support but they told me to remove and reimport the pictures but it’s quite useless as I would lose all my work and all the settings since they are not saved as xmp. I cannot export the xmps now and it says I/O error if i try to do so.
