Lightroom Classic

Helicon had a recent update so I initially thought it was the source of the issue, however, the saved images on my computer look normal. The photos on lightroom are showing up with a green tint overlay. The problem is resolved by hitting the reset button in develop mode but of course this isnt ideal in the long scheme of things. What could be causing this? 

If you don't get an automated report, then you ought to.   I restarted LRc and am about to try it again. === time passes === Nope. It fails again. Please provide a link so I can upload the .NEF, .XMP and ACR (?!) files, along with a snapshot of the export settings. It is possible that it is confused because there is only one file selected and nevertheless it is trying to export 2 files.   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]

Ich wollte, dass ich meine Bilder aufm PC aus LrC mit Lr auf meinem iPad "synchroonisieren". Glaub Katalog nennt sich das. Das hat dann auch irgendwie funktioniert. Ich hatte dann die Bilder aufm iPad. Habe aufm PC ein Bild bearbeitet, die Änderung hats auch aufm iPad übernommen. Habe dann aufm iPad etwas geändert, am PC hat das dann aber etwas zu lange gedauert (ich war ungeduldig), habe LrC geschlossen und wieder neu gestartet und seit dem bleibt LrC beim starten bei "Voreinstellungen werden geladen..." hängen. Wenn ich dann links-klicke stürtzt LrC ab.Habe es schon mehrmals neu installiert, auch alte Versionen versucht. Bringt alles nichts. Brauche dringen hilfe.

W11LrC 15.1 Step to reproduce. Look at the file size of a existing photo  in the Metadata Tab with the Exif and IPTC display all is OKSwitch to the default display and customize it to have the file size displayed. The file size is then wrong. It is writen "Fichier Introuvable"  (this mean cannot find the file in french) why in french Btw when LrC is in english. And the file is not missing as you can see under the histogram  The problem is that this is not always the case. And I did not find a common criteria. This can happen with 50D, 7DMKII, R7 photos. This can happen with RAW or Jpg. This can happen with any lens mounted. But it is not random. If the problem appears on one photo, the problem won't disappear next time you look at the photo.   

I have a huge problem. I changed the drive letter on my Windows 11 machine because that's where LrC was looking to get my files for download. I changed the Drive letter, from my computer,  from E: to D:. Now LrC won't run. It opens but freezes. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it's doing the same thing. I also changed my drive letter back to E: and that didn't help either. I get no error codes or messages, it just freezes after opening. I was also using LrC yesterday, so I know this is why it's crashing. I can't access any of the menu items because of it freezing. Please help. . 

A função APRIMORAR do Ligthroom classic versão 15.1 está muito inferior à das versões anteriores.Como a ferramenta foi incorporada ao SINCRONIZAR e perdeu eficiência.Nas versões anteriores levava-se cerca de 600 minutos para aprimorar 100 fotos (média de 6 minutos por imagem)Nesta versão, coloquei 100 fotos para SINCRONIZAR O APRIMORAMENTO ontem às 18h00 com previsão do término do trabalho em aproximadamento 400 minutos. Passadas mais de 12 horas, o LRC dis que apenas 17,6% fora apromorado e ainda faltaria 3442 minutos para finalizar.Alguém está tendo o mesmo problema?Podem indicar alguam solução?    

Bonjour  LrC version 15.1 OS Tahoe 26.2 Depuis peu lorsque je veux sélectionner une liste de photos en passant par le filtre texte de la bibliothèque, celui ci me fait planter lightroom, il met un écran comme s'il ne trouvait rien et lorsque je veux passer au Développement, j'ai un écran gris et aucun réglages possibles. cf screenshotsJ'ai supprimé les fichiers "preview" mais rien ne change, j'ai mon logiciel à jour. Hello.  I have one catalogue but the photos are split over two hard drives.  One of those hard drives is an old HDD and i have created an exact copy of the files (file structure and photos within) to an SSD of the same size.  I thought it would be easy to then just start using the new SSD but although i can see the hard drive appear within "folders", i do not know how to ask lightroom to point to this hard drive to view and start editing the old photos off this new har drive.  Is there an simple way of doing this that i am missing? Está acontecendo algo muito chato já faz um tempo, toda vez que eu salvo uma foto no PS que ela volta para o LRC como PSD o LRC aplica um ajuste nela, se eu não ficar atento eu envio fotos ruins para os meus clientes. Daí, após editar todas as fotos eu tenho que sair excluindo esse ajuste que foi colocado no PSD que voltou do PS para o LRC, um verdadeiro atraso para o meu fluxo de trabalho, como resolver isso? Versão do LRC 15.1 e do PS 27.2.0

Hi everyone, I’m hoping for some clarity on an issue I’m seeing with Lightroom Classic and exports. I’m editing photos in Lightroom Classic on a Mac with an Apple studio display. Inside Lightroom, the image looks perfect and desired to me, skin tones look clean and neutral. However, once I export the image as a JPEG (sRGB, embedded profile) and view it outside of Lightroom (email preview, WeTransfer download, airdrop.), the photo consistently looks a bit greener / yellower and slightly darker — even when I’m viewing it on the same computer. So it’s not really device-to-device differences it’s: Lightroom preview vs the exported JPEG in other apps on the same Mac I’ve already: Turned off True Tone and Night Shift, Checked that my export settings are correct, Confirmed this happens across multiple non-Adobe viewers. And I see too that my display on Studio Display is not the culprit as I sent it to myself and the export still differs. I’m trying to understand

I have a customer that sent me a preset to use on their photos.  When I go to import the preset into Lightroom Classic on a PC, I get an error message "unable to import presets all items were already imported".  Is it possible that they took a preset that I have already in LR but it has a different name?  If yes, how do I import the preset my customer wants me to use, or determine what the duplicate with a differnt name is?  I have quite a few presets.

I don't know if anyone can help, but I have recently bought a Canon iX6850 printer and am struggling to get good quality prints out of Lightroom Classic. I am experiencing banding including faint black lines, which are noticeable in the whole print but especially in the top corner of the attached example. It seems to print fine outside of Lightroom... I have tried two different papers: Fotospeed PF Gloss 270 and Platinum Etching 285. For each one I used the relevant profile. I have done hardware tests and it is not the hardware. It prints clearly with no banding from Windows Photo viewer and the print heads and rollers are fine (I haven't used it much yet). The colours are a long way off too, but I suspect this is because I haven't calibrated my monitor. Any help would be appreciated!

Whenever I click on Edit In there are all these items listed that I don't want to see.How can I remove them?Thanks. 

I backed up my LRC catalog about 24 hours ago, reopened it today to import some photos, and then closed it, backing it up again.  When I reopened the program, all my photo folders had disappeared.  I had no luck trying to open older LRC catalogs -- the same issue occurred. I tried resetting my preferences per recommendations from this forum the other day, which solved my problem at the time.  Today, that action has no impact. I have tried to attach sceenprints of LR, along with screenprints of my catalogs and files, but the forum will not allow me to either drag & drop the documents or post them from my file, so I embedded them in the post itself.  Per a request from an earlier forum member (on another issue), I am also attaching system data from LR.  When I double-click on the LR Catalog.lrcat, I get a spinning wheel for several sconds, then nothing. How do I access the catalog I saved yesterday which showed all my photo folders?   I have Windows 10 PC with a 2TB SDD with 400GB+ o

Depuis une dernière MAJ de LIGHTROOM, je n'arrive plus à renommer par lot le TITRE des photos (dans le module bibliothèque). Avant je séléctionnais plusieurs photos, je renommais le titre dans les metadonnées et une fenêtre s'ouvrait pour me demander "voulez-vous renommer toutes les photos ?". Désormais, je n'ai plus cette fenêtre et malgré la sélection de plusieurs photos, il ne renomme qu'une seule photo. Ce n'est plus possible du tout ? ou c'est possible mais autrement ? MERCI !

Hello - I am wanting to report a change in the export menu on LRClassic. I used to be able to export to jpg with long side measurment in pixels.  Is this a bug or how can we fix this?  Exporting seems different.ThanksBarb

Does anybody know of a way to create a virtual copy of an image directly into a specific collection? My use case is as follows: I have several collections of images, organised by 'photo shoot'. I have a need for some photos to be edited with different aspect ratios (typcially 6x4, 16x9 and 16x10) so they can be published on varying media. I then want to collect up these photos into collections based on the aspect ratio. So currently I end up making several virtual copies of some of my images in the original 'photo shoot' collection, then manually adding them to the relevant 'aspect ratio' collection, then removing the virtual copies from the main 'photo shoot' collection. What I am after is a way to drag and drop (or some such) the original photo to an exisiting 'aspect ratio' collection and create a virtual copy there which I can go and adjust. Thanks

Hi dear Community, I'm experiencing a problem with the removal tool in Lighroom Classic. I'm editing a timelapse and I'm trying to remove some dust spots from all photos (around 400). When I remove them from the first photo and only sync the setting from "manual removal" (AI togle was also not selected when using the manual removal or healing tool), it synchorinzes fast, but than a window with "Updating AI settings may take some time" appears and this process takes 190 minutes for all 400 photos...If I stop the process it won't apply the removal spots on all selected photos!F few years back without the AI features in LR, the sync for a removal tool took me seconds.Why does it render it as AI, when no AI feature was used? Any recommendations to fix this?

I was going to post about my Export folders disappearing, but think I have solved that problem.  Somewhere along the way, the "Add to This Catalog" box got unchecked in the Export dialog. Question 1:  If my exported edited files were not added to the current catalog, where are they (from Lightroom's perspective)?  The Export folders and their files are exactly where I expect them to be when I view them in Windows Explorer, that being "Same folder as original photo" in subfolder "Export." Question 2:  How do I go about adding those folders and files to the current catalog so that Lightroom sees them when viewing the Library module? Thanks! 

Don't know what the issue is but all of a sudden LRC running on MacMiniProM4, the size of the Catalog cannot be changed, fill the whole screen (27" dell) and I cannot make it smaller, no matter what I try.  Turned it on off, etc. nothing helps.  I cannot see menu items and the Apple Menu overlaps the LR Menu, etc. Any ideas?

I have two external HDDs and one external SSD. All mount in OS 15.7 (Sequoia) with no problem, apart from the fact that after I made a Time Machine backup earlier today, the two HDDs do not appear in LR Classic anymore. In finder they are OK, showing all the image files that they contain, but nada in LR Classic. Do I have to reimport them again into Classic so that they get re-included in the catalog? That woud therefore register their presence as external HDDs correct? My "collection" of Library files seems large (pic). Are there any I can discard?  Thanks for any pointers.

All my presets on lightroom classic have disappeared.  They are showing up in Photoshop only.  When I try to reinstall, it claims they are already installed.  I'm sure i'm doing something stupid, but does anyone have any suggestions? 

I am working with the latest versions of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop on an Acer desktop. I have finally, through watching You Tube videos, learned about the difference between folders and collections. I have been using collections almost exclusively having been told early on to prefer them. But what has always mystified me is what happens to various edits. My work flow calls for creating Collection Sets and then nesting a Select connection beneath that. And often I make a number of copies of a photo in a collection so that I can edit them differently and I presume that those remain in that "select" file. But then because sometimes I need to do additional stacking edits in photoshop, will open them in that program and save them. But are they saved in the same original date identifed folder and since I'm not prompted to rename them, does anyone have any suggestions for how to save them so that I can distinguish them, and am I, lastly, safe to assume these too are to be found in
