Lightroom Classic

Hi I've attempted to update to lightroom windows version 15 about 6 times but keep getting issues with "metadata filters on remove tool" notices. Fortunately I've been able to revert back to my old 14.51 version.  It's a very large catalogue  that I've used for some 15 years so would be very upset to lose all the edits.  I'm also concerned about putting further additional work on version 14.51 as its  now a defunct system. I've tried lots of so called work arounds but with no success. Can anyone help please?

In Library/Loupe Module, when selecting multiple photos in the Filmstrip, any tagging action (Flag, Rating, etc) perform should only affect the currently targeted/highlighted photo, NOT all the photos selected.  Works perfectly fine, the way it's supposed, to in the Develop Module Originally reported via feedback in the Lightroom Classic app.  Guess no one monitors those.

I've just started my move to v15. I received a warning about the need to covert the v14 catalog - the main catalog set to open by default. (It's a poorly worded warning, IMO, but that's a different issue.) However, now that I am trying to open and convert another, smaller v14 catalog, LrC is gives no warning. In fact LrC is not visible in any way except it shows, in Win 11 Task Manager, some minimal CPU activity, minimal disk activity, and about 1,400 MB of memory use. I'm miffed that this mess would come from Adobe. Perplexity tells me to let it go overnight and that's what I'll do as I did with the much larger catalog last night. Yes, I have tons of free HD space, a new processor and 32 GB of RAM.

I set Library > Enable filter and Library > Filter by flag > Flagged only.  Flagged images are filtered.  App is closed and restarted.  Menu shows the previous options are still enabled but all images are shown in grid including rejected and unflagged.  If I disable filters and enable it again, now grid displays filtered images.

Dears - some time ago I've posted a similar topic, which as I thought was solved - but as it came out, not completelly. BonjourDEpuis peu je n'arrive pas à afficher les fichiers dans LRC de façon permanente.Je m'explique car ce n'ai pas clair!Cela fait plusieurs lois que je n'avais pas utilisé LRC.J'ai environ 45 000 images classées par date.Mais celles-ci n'apparaisent pas dans l'onglet Dossiers de LRC.J'ai donc réalisé une synchronisation qui a bien fonctionné mais ces fichiers apparaissent dans l'onglet Importation.Quand je reviens vers l'onglet Bibliothèque l'arboressence disparait et me montre un seul répertoir, le dernier importé.Autre problème je n'arrive pas à importer des images depuis une clé USB. Cette clé apparait bien dans la liste des dossiers mais son contenu est grisé?J'ai bien sûr effectuer une vérification de mes systèmes de fichiers systèmes ainsi que des fichiers de données, sans résolution de mes problèmes.Je suis sur Win11 et la dernière version de LRC 15.01Merci pour votre aideBernard 

Hello, I run LR classic 15.0.1 and after a recent images import and subsequent creation of advanced preview, the previews in grid module are not showed for mostly (but not all) the newly added photos.If I add the column the tells presence / absence of previews in the filter section, the photo for which previews are not displayed are reported as having previews. Trying to generate 1:1 or standard previews for the same photos will cause LR to start a new preview creation job, still at 0% even after hours. I run my catalogue on external SSD drive with about 600.000 photos and, so far, advanced previews created for almost all of the photos contained in the catalogue. I'm not sure that deleting all the existing advanced previews and recreating them (operation that could last days and days) wouls solve the issue. Any hint on it? Thank your all for support.

My LrC recently started doing this as of last month and I have no idea how to fix it. I cull my photos in Narrative, and then it ships to LrC from my SSD. When the files come in, the previews at the bottom are completely greyed out, but when I click on it to edit, it shows the image. Then when I'm not on it, it turns grey again. I have done so much researching on how to fix this but have come up with nothing! My LrC is on the latest version.

I often refine color-range masks with the brush tool, using it to add or subtract areas to the mask.  To paint sharp angles/edges, I will 1) set the brush size to 0.1, 2) click in the smallest corner (A) of the area I want to adjust, 3) inrease the brush size to a much larger size like 10.0, 4) hold shift, 5) click along the edge (B) of the area I want to adjust so the tapered brush size creates the proper angle/edge, 6) continue holding shift, clicking to paint further along necessary edges (C)-(D).   This used to work.  In release 15.0.1, things go awry at click (C).  Once I make this third click, the original 0.1 brush-sized click changes size to match the larger selected brush size, so a large dot appears back at the beginning stroke.  The rest of the taper remains in tact, but this new dot (which now needs to be further edited) is infuriating.   My best guess is this is a problem of LR offloading to the GPU (RTX 5070).  If I count to 5 between cl

Hi everyone, I'm using a Mac with High Sierra and AVX graphics (not AVX2), Sequoia 15.7.3 operating system. I'm currently trying to install Lightroom Classic. I have an annual subscription, and from CC I can't download version 12.5, which I understand is the most recent compatible version. Where can I find an installer? Honestly, I've had more problems than anything else with Adobe, and I'd also like to know if it's possible to file a complaint, given that it's impossible to use the product.Thanks to anyone who responds. Bye,Romeo

When I preview my slideshow it is running very smooth, but after export there are blank screens every 2 or 3 images!Can you please check or show me  how to fix it?LrC version 15.0.1My slide is 60 imagesps. I have been using LR since Lightroom 4 and have never seen this.

Wenn ich mein Light Room Classic öffnen möchte erscheint die Fehlermeldung "Light Room Catalog wurde beschädigt und muss repariert werden. Danach erscheint eine zweite Meldung "Lightroom - Katalog Lightroom Catalog.zip wird geöffnet." Dann geschieht gar nichts mehr. Ich habe das Programm wiederholt deinstalliert und installiert. Es hilft einfach nichts.   Was kann ich tun?   Ich habe das Windows 11 auf meinem Rechner.

I have some photos that i mistaged and need to change. I imported photos-processed and tagged them, then exported them.I moved the original photos afterward so it is not as easy as just opening back up that folder which I also deleted. I imported into lightroom the exported tagged photos but I can't even see anywhere in lightroom where I can view the existing tags let alone delete them. I'm trying to avoid bringing in the unprocessed images and starting over.  Is that my only option??  THanks

 Does anyone know what's happening?  So I'll be editing masks and suddenly the image because very pixelated and I can't adjust anymore (I'll move a slider or a curve but no changes happen to the image).  At that point, all I can do is close LRC and reopen it.  But it starts to happen again.  Sometimes it'll turn to a red background.AMD Ryzen 7900X.  128GB RAM of DDR5.  Nvidia 5090 with 32GB of GDDR7.  Lightroom Classic 15.0.1 Release Camera Raw 18.0.  Nvidia Studio Driver version 591.44

The Vertical Transform in Lightroom Classic 15.1 now adjusts aspect ratio (stretch/squash) rather than just pure perspective. I liked it as before, it worked well. Maybe  give us the option for using the legacy version as an option. This new stretch squash does not work for what I do, when the old way did perfectly.

I accidentally uploaded some of my photos to Content Credentials when I exported them, and I would like to remove them, especially since it allows anyone to see the original RAW photo. Is this possible?

Hi.  I am using Lightroom Classic 15.01 on a Mac mini, and this issue has only just started happening.  I have a number of attached drives.  On importing I can see them all, and I can create new folders on them, so Lightroom knows they are there and can access them.  When I come to export photo's I now can only export to my hard drive.  I have only just noticed this and it has not been an issue in the past.  I dont believe that I have made any configuration changes. 

 I edit first in the newest version of LrC then save as JPEG to a folder. I then import that folder into a super old version of Lr 4 to finish my edits. Don't come at me. It's what I do! All my presets and brushes are in there and what I'm comfortable with. I updated my Mac and now this is what I get when I try to import. It then says there are no images found to import. Help!!!!!

I have a hardtime to edit my custom identity plate of the intro screen and ending screen in Slideshow module!I type a line of text then enter to go the the next line , I can see half of the letter, but come to the 3rd line I don't the line !Is anyone can help me to solve this issue?Chieu

I have been struggling wiht LR Classic since upgrading to the latest versions (15.0 and 15.0.1). I have follwoed all of the recommended fixed, including turning off automatic changes XMP, adjusting settings in NVIDIA to "prefer maximum performance", increasing cache size to 30, etc. I never had these issues before the upgrade, and nothing has changed with my computer. I have Windows 11 Pro, 64 GB, Dell CPS 8940.  At this point, LR Classic is nearly unusable. As an MFA student trying to get my work done, this is a huge problem!
