Lightroom Classic

Hola! Les comento, Lightroom no me esta permitiendo crear nuevos catalogos, es como si al crear el nuevo catalogo el anterior quedara como fantasma funcionando, osea aparece como abierto en los procesos, pero no esta visible. Tengo la version 15 actualizada.Les agradezco toda ayuda!

Images now go dark during lightroom transform adjustments when pulling any of the transform sliders after the most recent 15.0 update.  (Mac OS).  Any ideas?

Hello,Since I've upgraded to LrC v15 on Windows 11, I start using more and more the synchronisation feature, in order to use either Lighroom edition to process my photos.However, at some point, I looked at the synchronisation status in the little cloud available in the upper right corner of LrC, and it shows that 51 photos are being synchronized. But this stays forever.After some research on the web, I've displayed the sync status on the web that actually shows the list of photos with sync issues. I've removed all photos in this list and it is now empty. See attached screenshot Pbs de synchro 1.png.I didn't see any change.Then when opening the list of photos being synced (see attached screenshot Sync 1.png), I reviewed this list and removed the photos from the synced collections from 2 folders:\\nas01\Bruts\Photos\2023\2023-05-06 2023-05-13 Voyage en Toscane\2023-05-07 3 Visite de la Crypte de la cathédrale de Sienne\Canon EOS 6D Mark II (cr2)and\\nas01\Bruts\Photos\2023\2023-05-06 202

Can Lightroom synchronize the folder automatically without my having to do it manually?I generally open raw files in PS from LR to edit fine details. LR slows down my computer too much for detailed edits. After saving the PSD (which does auto sync to LR), I need multiple sizes of jpegs so I either do a Save As from PS or an Export from LR. Either way these do not show up in my LR catalog until I manually sync the folder (right clicking on the folder and clicking through the synchronize folder "wizard"). I'm looking to speed up my work flow by cutting out this last step. I've looked for an auto sync setting for the catalog but can't seem to find one. I realize it might not be everyone's cup of tea to have jpeg copies in LR, but for my particular purposes it's the most efficient solution. If this feature is available, please let me know where to find it. Else, just let me know that it's not available - no need to let me know why it should or should not exist. Thanks!

I have run the Subject Focus culling on a folder but do not get any check marks on my images. It will give me a culling score in the drop down menu but does not show me which images are out of focus. Culling analysis is checked on in my Catalog Settings. I have also restarted LrC  and my computer but still no luck. Anyone else have this issue or have any suggestions?

While I am busy editing photographs, LRC starts importing again. I have to eventually quit and restart the program over and over while I am trying to work. It is very frustrating - any ideas?   I am working on LRC version 15 that I updated 7 days ago.   I cannot reproduce the problem - the import window just opens and requests that I select a source.   [Moved from 'Lightroom ecosystem' forum to 'Lightroom Classic' forum by moderator]

Lightroom classic v15 on mac.  some photos show up in the folder grid view, completely editable, no issues, but when I go to the associated subfolder where that picture should be, it is not there. In finder it shows as an "orphaned" type individual file .  Just moved data to a new large harddrive, but everything seems fine except this issue.

Hallo, mir ist nun schon zum zweiten Mal passiert, dass Dateien nach einem Update von der Festplatte verschwunden sind. Ich wäre sehr dankbar für Unterstützung, denn es fehlen mehrer Dateien seitdem. Wo liegt das Problem ? Habe in dieser Community einen weiteren Fall dazu aus 2023 entdeckt. Gab es damals dazu eine Problemlösung ?

In my (Windows 11) LrC I am not able to open Book module. All what I can see is "Cannot access font" dialog. Maybe there is a prefererence with a font name to change, but I am not able to know where.Anyone can help me?Thank you in advance 

Lightroom classic was freezing after opening the import window. After waiting for several minutes, import is posible. He instalado la última versión  de ligthroom y al abrirlo, simplemente no hace nada. No se abre, pero lightroom normal sí, y necesito poder abrir Lightroom Classic de forma urgente. Gracias! 

Can someone please help me. I've tried everything. I edit my photos on LRC on MAC i get part way through close my app and come back and then have to update the denoise it doesn't save on any photos. I go to export them and it doesn't save. I have reset settings. What else can I do? I shoot sports games & I'm 4 games behind and more coming up. 

Tried to move a folder (with 3 subfolders) from 1 ssd to another ssd within LrC. The parent folder and 1 of the subfolders moved to 2nd ssd, 2 other subfolders are gone, not on original ssd, not on 2nd ssd.  Any ideas?  MacBook Pro, Sequoia, LrC 15.0.1   {Moved from Lightroom Cloud to Lightroom Classic Forum by Moderator} 

He observado que A VECES, después de aplicar una marca a una foto (etiqueta de color,  clasificación de estrellas, etc) la selección salta AUTOMÁTICAMENTE a la diapositiva siguiente en la barra inferior de diapositivas,  y otras veces no, sin que yo haya sido capaz de determinar bajo qué criterio lp hace o no. Alguien  se encuentra en la misma situación y sabe por qué pasa esto? 

Hi, I'm using Lr Classic 15.0.1 on a M5 macbook pro.When i export some pictures with an AI remove correction, in the exported file i can't see any object removed.I need to click AI Edit Status, re-wait for the correction and re-export. and this for any single pictures i've adjusted.Can You help me?

When I loaded the most recent photos to Lightroom, I got the error message:"Lightroom has encountered problems reading this photo.You will not be able to make adjustments to the photo."Many of the photos are black in the bottom half. I tried to edit anyway and encountered the message, "Unexpected end of file encountered". I have about 6 weeks experience using Lightroom, have loaded about 500 photos in 8 different loads and have never encountered this before.The photos in the camera look ok. What could be the problem? Software, camera (Nikon 7100) or mac hardware?Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

I am scanning negatives using DSLR. Today I updated Lightroom Classic to version 15.0.1 and cannot now invert Tone Curve as I used to do earlier. In Tone Curve panel I am not able to drag left bottom point to upper corner and same with upper right corner point to bottom. I am using Macbook Pro with macOS 15.6.1. Am I doing something wrong?

When I import images from my Hasselblad CFV-50C digital back red and green dots show up throughout the image. When I import the same images into the Hasselblad Phocus program (Simular to Lr) the dots do not show up. Any ideas on what me be happening, is there a setting in Lr that I need to adjust when importing? Thanks for your help.John

I have been using my own self made user presets for the past year and a half on multiple catalogs on two different hard drives. Today, with both hard drives plugged in, I opened a catalog and all of my downloaded presetes as well as my user presets were missing. I have been able to re add my downloaded presets but cannot figure out how to restore my user presets i made. Can anyone please give me some help with this?

Help! LrC is unusable.After updating to v15.0 LrC goes to a popup requiring catalog upgrade.Selecting "Upgrade," the Mac works a bit, then the computer crashes and restarts. In the old libraries folder, I have the attempts to create the library backup of different sizes, but apparently none complete. They are smaller than my current but outdated catalog. I saw the a for PC, but I'm not sure I have Visual C++ or whatever that is. A search for "MSVCP140.dll" in Finder finds nothing. I do have MS Office if that's relevant. After a few days, I got the update for LrC to 15.0.1. Updated, then, after opening and attempting to upgrade the catalog, the app crashes or the computer crashes. iMac 2019mac OS 15.1.1 (24B91) Please help! I have photo work that's very late.

I'm using Lightroom Classic V15.01 on macOS/Mac Studio, and I'm having trouble loading PSD files that contain operations using the Frame tool. A message tells me the files contain errors. However, other PSD files that don't use the Frame tool are importable into Lightroom Classic.
