Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

How do I custom sort photos in Lightroom Ver 8.2? I explored the tutorials but it does not explain custom sorting. 

How do I stop Lightroom from putting a copy of a file that is on an external hard drive with a catalogue that’s on the same external hard drive and yet it still puts a copy on my internal hard drive. And then it prefers it over the original on the external hard drive.  I have run out of storage on my 2t internal HD. 

I have tried multiple times to enable the histogram in Lightroom for my videos.  For photos it works fine.  I've tried to chat and call Adobe and they've hung up on me four times after 30 seconds.  The worst customer service!!   i would be grateful to whomever can solve my issue.  The standard answer if selecting triple dots top right then view histogram doesn't work.  The histogram choice is there but it doesn't show up once I choose it.  Help please thank you.

Unable to upload my iPhone photos to mobile Lightroom. They come across as HEIC and not JPEG

I've got some albums where multiple images have missing thumbnails on LR Mobile. They're fine in LR desktop, but missing in mobile. As suggested elsewhere, I've reset the cache on mobile, but it had no effect. I see reports of this problem back to 2018 but no other suggestions or solutions. Is there still nothing Adobe can do? Possibly a menu itemto  "Refresh thumbnails" or similar? Note the problem is the same across iPhone and iPad - the same thumbnails are missing on both, while they appear fine on LR Desktop and LR web.

I am trying to upload a gallery of images from lightroom on the iPad Pro to my PhotoShelter account. PhotoShelter doesn’t appear in the list of destinations I can share to. Going the other way round and trying to upload from PhotoShelter I can’t see the folder that contains my edited images in lightroom. Is there a plug-in? How can I make the two apps see one another?

HelloIn Lightroom Mobile version 10.1.1 on iOS (iPhone), the term "Upright" in the Geometry section is not translated into Polish.In Lightroom Desktop, "Upright" is correctly translated as "Korekta perspektywy," so it would be consistent and preferable to use the same translation in Lightroom Mobile. Thanks,Paweł Słowikwww.slowik.eu

Hello,  Does anyone know how to transfert images and modifications from "local"  to cloud" and vis versa Inside the app? IT seems earlier that any modification on the local drive was sync to the cloud. Now they are separated, so i import them twice and need to think about where to modify the photos... thank you   

Hi Adobe team,I’ve been really enjoying the new Point Color feature in Lightroom – it offers amazing control and precision when working with specific tones in an image.However, I’ve run into a problem: whenever I use Point Color, I’m unable to export my image. I’ve tried updating Lightroom and exporting in different formats, but the only thing that works is completely disabling Point Color. This is disappointing, as I’d love to be able to include those adjustments in my exported files.I hope this is something that can be resolved in an upcoming update. I have version 10.2.1 of the Lightroom Mobile app for Android on my phone and I save all Album content locally.  That content is shared collections from LrC. Lately, I have been unable to access any of the photos in My Albums when not connected to Wifi and using cellular data.  I used to be able to do that.  Has there been a change to the app that prevents that?  Not being able to access those photos pretty much makes the Lightroom Mobile worthless to me. TIA

HELP!!! Last week I have noticed my Lightroom pictures are blurry, pixelated or take a long time to show the original sharp image. I import from SD card reader to my Mac. Most of the time I can't see a sharp image. On my camera it is sharp. I have tried removing GPU (makes it worse). I am not tech savvy. I am so frustrated. What is happening! I have been using Lightroom for 6 months and now it is so blurry! 

Hi all, hope you can help me resolve the following problems that I have with syncing to Adobe Portfolio from Lightroom CC.I have Lightroom CC on my Windows 10 PC, my Samsung Note 8 and Tab S4. I have the 1TB/LR CC photography subscription (and loving it), syncing new photos from my phone to Adobe cloud daily/regularly and from my DSLR after a shoot session, using my Windows PC. Once a week I want to update an album with selected photos and publish them to my portfolio site. This the basic workflow including the problems I run into every weekend.Select the best mobile photos of the past week in LR CC on Windows, add them to a LR album and additionally share them to an existing Adobe Portfolio project. Sharing to Portfolio always gives the error "Photos not synced. Original photos must be synced to the cloud before publishing.". However, LR status of all photos is "synced". Using Lightroom web there are no errors sharing the same photos from the same album to the same Portfolio project.

I sometimes run into the 'Previous added' dialog box:     It would be awesome if there is a way to open the previously added photo right from that dialog. Now I need to go to the search and find the photo in order to open it.   (Even better would be to simply open the previously added photo? Who cares if the photo was already there? I just want to see it...)

Hey, like I said in the title can someone maybe explain me please why the numbers of my Cloud Storage (20GB) are in Lightroom 9.8GB and in the Creative Cloud 10GB and in Creative Cloud on the Web 10.1 GB. Is this simply a rounding error? 

OK, so the reason I purchased Photoshop/Lightroom and invested in an expensive new computer to run it was because I am in the process of pubblishing a large size photo book of a UK Droog-Punk band from 1980-1982. After a near 40 year quest to get hold of a set of photos used on the bands first 7'' single I finally got hold of the negatives a few months ago. My initail joy at finally getting them in my posession soon drained out of me when I got the scans back from a professional film scanning company. It seems that many of the negatives were damaged, like some sort of liquid has been spilt on them in the past. My first thought was to get all the negatives professionaly cleaned with chemicals to see if that restores the negatives, however there dosent seem to be anywhere in the UK that does it. So I started the process of trying to fix the photos myself in Lightroom. I Already expected that I would need to remove spots or a few imperfections even scratches etc and to be honest I've

I can't email photos when using Lightroom 

I shot a exquisitie dance performance last night and shot it using my Sony AS7iii using a very high iso and no flash. Looking at the photos today in Lightroom and i see all the horizontal banding in each of the shots. Wondering if anyone can suggest how i can get rid of the banding. I have 40 photos to do so if there is a quick solution....please, let's hear it. Sample photo attached. they all look like this....

Watched the tutorial on masking. Was working fine subject and backgrounds were isolated and all was great. Now today I do the same thing and it turns the picture in an Andy Warhol color explosion. Can someone tell me what happened.

In Lightroom, when I try to save my image to my device, it says it worked but when I go to my photos nothing is there.

I subscribed to Lightroom Premium yesterday and it was working fine until the morning, but in the afternoon I couldn’t use Lightroom to edit RAW on my Galaxy S23+. It showed that I didn’t have a subscription, but I checked Google Play and it was normal. I need to get back to work as soon as possible.

I had been using my school email for all adobe related projects, I had not known that the account will be deactivated after graduation. As my account has just been logged out suddenly, I did not have the time to save nothing locally. I am writing in and hoping that the account can be reactivated to that I can access my projects as 3 years of my work is on there and I have no other way of accessing my portfolio. I have a job interview that requires my portfolio in 3 days. I sincerely ask for your help on this matter and I hope something can be done. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
